Good location, nearby attractions and food. However, not a very family friendly hotel. There was a ton of construction all day (8am-5pm). The pool was ok, but the stairs and railings on the top levels seemed hazardous especially for kids (too widely spaced bars). The breakfast was also poor. I expected more since lots of people kept recommending this hotel.

I was passed a fake fifty US dollar bill by a staff member as part of change for a US hundred dollar bill. Unfortunately I did it catch it until I went to pay for another transaction after I had already left the city.

I really do love this hotel. I’ve always been treated so well here and enjoy coming back every time. Everyone is friendly and always so willing to help. It’s a great location with so many excellent restaurants nearby. It’s one of my favourite spots in the city. Thank you!

had just a one night stay in this property but it was very comfortable for just my one night.

i didn't get to use the spa or anything else but the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful from the moment i got in. staff took all my bags upstairs and showed me how to use all the things in the room

room was very spacious and i had a balcony that overlooked the neighborhood.

the property itself is close to everything and i loved having everything close by

Change curtain

The hotel should consider to change to a dim-out/black-out curtain for the window. Whenever I'm staying there, I do not really a good & deep sleep especially the morning sun light can penetrate through the curtain in the morning around 5-6am.

Comfortable room and friendly and very helpful staff :)
Food at the restaurant is really good. Would recommend eating there. Prices are reasonable as well. Breakfast was good. We could order as much as we liked from the set breakfast menu.
Loved there taro chips they served with the drinks. But unfortunately I’m addicted to them and cannot find them anywhere in Cambodia.

Pretty decent boutique hotel with a rooftop bar, restaurant and pool. Staff were friendly and understands English pretty well. They were nice enough to switch my stay as I had to go to Siem Reap for a few days and even hold my extra luggage for me while I am away. Hotel also is located to many shops and restaurants. Would come again definitely.

Great hotel with nice breakfast, awesome views from rooftop infinity pool, great multi lingual staff. Lots of food options in the alley around the hotel and on Street 51, laundry right across the alley, tuk tuks are always waiting.

I stayed at Patio Hotel 6 times in 2019 for a total of 9 weeks. After trying out various hotels in PP, I decided to return to Patio because of the friendly and efficient staff. Things seem to run like clockwork and I have a great appreciation for the consistency. I've recommended the hotel to many of my colleagues, who have also enjoyed their stays and continue to book with Patio.

- amazing staff
- relaxing rooftop pool
- delicious food
- great location

Cons:
- no ironing board in room (however, there is affordable laundry services)
- no gym (however, there is a gym near by)

The room was very spacious and clean. Location is also very strategic, slightly tucked away from the main street. There is a laundry shop just opposite the main entrance which is quite reasonable as well. Mini mart is just around the corner with plenty of food options nearby.

Lighting might be a little bit dim for people who are on a business trip. Could hear people chatting from 1st floor eventhough window was tightly shut. If you're sensitive, you can request for a higher floor.

Overall amazing hotel with simple breakfast spread and amazing room and facilities.

Nice hotel in a convenient location

This is a nice little hotel located close to the independence monument. It is close to most areas a visitor might be interested in. The only downside is that the hotel is located in a small alley. However, when I arrived close to midnight, there were a few people in the alley that I did not feel unsafe. I stayed only one night on a business trip. The single room was not big, but I had everything I needed. The wifi connection was surprisingly fast. I was able to download a 500Mb file without trouble. The breakfast served in the rooftop restaurant was very nice. In addition to the continental breakfast buffet, one can order several hot dishes at no extra charge. There is even a rooftop swimming pool which would be very nice on a warm afternoon. I would definitely come back to this place on my next trip to Phnom Penh.

I really enjoyed my stay here, the staff are all great and so welcoming. The rooftop pool is amazing, views across the city and was never too busy. Food and drinks are great there too. The hotel is located in a cool area, lots of good places nearby. Try opening the coca cola machine down the lane on the left hand side - it is a secret doorway! I definitely recommend this hotel

Place was excellent. The roof-top pool was outstanding. Almost a reason in itself for staying here.The staff was the best. Lima the bartender was great. I would highly recommend this hotel. Location was fine - near Monument Circle.For a simple breakfast or lunch, try the Aussie Cafe across the street and ask for Chantou although the food at Patio was very good.

Very good service, room was large enough but not very comfortable for traveler. I felt the room lacked comfort. There was not any stand for suitcases, so I had to keep lifting my suitcase to the bed to get things in and out. No drawers or cabinets to set personal items. No towel rack in shower. Just no place to put your things.In spite of the good service , I would not stay again because room very uncomfortable for travelers.

Ok hotel, but nothing special. Downside was bar and restaurant closing at 11pm and staff switching lights off and going home leaving us sitting out on the terrace. Security then came out to tell us to move. No other seating area to finish our drinks other than by reception! We’d heard great things so were disappointed.

Lovely little hotel with kind and attentive staff. Not exactly walking distance from the Royal Palace and national museum, but only a couple of dollars in a tuk tuk. Grab tuk tuk exists in Phnom Penh and is reliable. The breakfast buffet at the hotel is below par and not worth booking. The a la carte menu and drinks on the other hand are excellent.

A stay in BKK1

Patio is a lovely hotel in BKK1 with great staff, an ‘interesting ‘ breakfast- they call it ‘American ‘ which is fine, because it’s really a failed English breakfast! The rooms are clean, well maintained and quirky. I really liked it. Considering it was low season when I stayed, it’s a little overpriced, but not by much. I dined there once and again, the American influence was there, they couldn’t understand the principle of a ‘blue’ steak and the ‘rare’ meat that I had would be considered burned in the UK or mainland Europe . All of that was forgiven once the dry Martini was served, excellent!
Overall, a nice hotel, great location away from the paedo’s on Riverside and close to some great food and drink, Khmer and Western, near to Orussey Market which is a bonus if you’re looking for a bargain.
Thoroughly recommended.

Perfect hotel & location for our Phnom Penh stay

This boutique hotel was located within an small street/alley that housed multiple restaurants and an amazing prohibition-era style bar with the most amazing cocktails. Additional restaurants and night-life are within walking distance so the location is great. The hotel itself worked out perfectly for our 2 night stay, impeccable, quaint, great staff, breakfast options off the menu were so good. We also used the spa during our stay and the massage was perfect after two days of exploring!

This hotel was just what we wanted; a relaxing stay in the middle of the city. The breakfast buffet was great, the spa was nice and relaxing. The pool on the roof was very nice, with great views of the monument and a pagoda. The staff were highly professional and we never had to ask twice for our room configuration. Location is good, can find tuctuc at the hotel entrance to go wherever you wants. Few restaurants and café available in the area. Room condition not that good. The toilet seat is cramped into a small space, the shower is separate yet not much privacy as it opens directly to the room.
Very nice view from the roof and nice pool (we couldn’t use as it was raining)
Need to work better on the breakfast.
1 night we came back very late and wanted to eat and since the hotel kitchen was already close we ask the receptionist if we can order some food. He said he will gladly order a pizza for us. We said we want a large pizza & he showed us the size of the pizza to be ordered and gave us the cost. When the pizza arrived it was a very small one that is not enough for 1 person & couldn’t cost more than 2$ knowing the prices in the city. We ended up hungry & he ended up overcharging us 10 times the price of a small pizza!

The hotel is down a little alleyway off Street 51 and the Grand Palace and the Tuol Sliem Genocide Museum are within easy walking distance. The staff are young and very helpful - made a call on our behalf to a travel agent we had to meet at the hotel and were helpful is various other ways.

The small pool area on the roof has great views over the city. Breakfast was very good too. We would definitely come back to Phnom Penh and if so would stay here.

Stop looking and book here

I loved everything about this hotel. The staff were amazing, the room was lovely, the location was perfect, the pool was just as good as the pictures and the breakfast was fantastic. My only quibble is that the hot water in the shower only lasted for around 15 minutes - but this is minor all things considered. If I find myself back in Phnom Penh this is the only hotel I would consider staying in.

Strength: good city location, great food, nice and smiling staff, simple but comfortable rooms, good balance value-quality, nice for family, amazing city view from swimming pool and breakfast terraces. Fit well for a short stay. Better to get room on higher levels.
To be improved: rooms are very noisy, lack of storage for clothes, lack of light blind or curtain to ensure intimacy in the room specifically because the hotel is surrounded by houses and buildings.

Very pleasant and helpful staff, good food. Hotel is clean and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would stay here again if I return to Phnom Penh

Outstanding service at the Patio Hotel

Outstanding service here at the Patio Hotel & Urban Resort. Close enough to various eating places, atm's and there is always a tuk tuk close by if you need. The service we had here was fantastic and the roof top pool, although not huge was plenty big enough to end your warm day there with great drink service and great music too to add to the atmosphere.

Ok Hotel...Nothing Great !!

Hotel was ok, pictures are a bit deceiving. Room was very average, ask for an another room but was told they had nothing available. No privacy in the bathroom ( had to change in the shower) as l was travelling with my 19 yr old son. Infinity pool was great and staff were very friendly. Breakfast very average. Location was good and very central to most things. If l ever came back to PP would try someone to stay.

Cons: A little bit far from night market and the major pub street, but bar and cafe are availale near the hotel.

The hotel is down a small street so away from the main road traffic noise.
A modern well designed hotel with restaurant, bar and pool on the top floor with great views. The area has many great restaurants and bars, mostly not expensive.
Staff wonderful, so I could not find anything to complain about...

Great little hotel. Noisy on the Friday night we were there from nearby bars but the Saturday night was fine. Great breakfast included in the room rate. Close to the Royal Palace and just fun to explore from here.
