I did not have a view of the ocean or pool. But the room is nice, modern and clean. Arrived really late they order my dinner for me which was nice. There was no bottled water in the room ( as usual) was told by front desk that they could not provide to drink from the sink. Overall ok but I wish VIP perks were delivered.

Air conditiner was broke. We checked in late, unpacked 4 bags that we halled down stairs and discovered broken air conditiner late in evening after room was not cooling down. It could not be repaired. Choice was to repack, hall bags upstairs and over to next hall and down stairs to new room while missing our diving thst was scheduled or live with a hotntoom. Since this was our last 3 nights of our vacation we stayed in the room with broken air conditioning so we didnt miss our pre scheduled island eve ts.

Lovely location ocean side next to downtown. Snorkel off the beach hundreds of varieties sizes and colors of fish. Limited coral but seeing eels, turtles and an octopus was great. Food to order was great, not gourmet. Food on breakfast buffet lukewarm. Good omelette made to order. Daily happy hour beer and wine only. Dive shop on premises. Two pools no working hot tub. Casino with roulette and black jack tables. Expect “Island time” everywhere, tips help! Lots to see. Not a place for young spring breakers. Limited evening activities and beach space on the island.

When we checked in one month ago, we were charged $75 US deposit for each person, $300 total. To date, we have sent 5 email messages asking for this deposit to be refunded. It is not pending on our account, it was a charge. No one has responded to our messages and one month later we are still not reimbursed and we have no understanding of why we were charged and why we have not been refunded. This is not what we expect from a hotel.com booking and we are concerned that this hotel is illegally taking money from customers without consent or communication, it’s very frustrating! We would not stay at Divi Divi again, and we look forward to hearing from an employee who will expedite a refund of this deposit immediately

We fortunately only needed to stay at this property to bridge our 7 day stay at Grand Windsock as we had an extra night prior to our flight home. The studio suite was nothing like in the pics. It was dated and smelled of mildew with black mold all over shower. It looks like they attempted to cover up floors and walls with paint but certainly was not renovated. They did not supply enough towels or linen and when I spoke with the front desk he said he could not do anything as houskeeping had left for day. Also a long way to transport out bags without help from front parking lot. The location was great and the pools ok.
Will definitely not return.

We loved our stay here! The dive shop staff were phenomenal. The Front Desk staff were always friendly & helpful. The restaurant staff were great & the food delicious! My only complaint was with housekeeping. We stayed five nights and they never cleaned our room or refreshed towels. On the 4th day I asked the front desk to ensure it was cleaned. We came back to our bathroom trash sitting on the desk, beds made but no fresh linens, and sand still all over the floors.

Booking through Hotels.com or expedia instead of the resort directly or with a dive travel agent is an impediment to good experience/ service at this resort. It prevented me from adding on a meal plan and prepaying for a dive package. I added diving a la carte and mostly dined off site.
As a solo traveler/diver, had I gone through the other routes, i would have had to pay a single penalty. I am glad I booked through Hotels.Com. I saved money.

The property was just OKAY. Nothing special. The room was new but the bathroom was dated. During my stay the towel rack fell off. The paint was chipping. Also there’s no room service. Housekeeping starts at 8:30 am so if you need a towel you have to walk to the lobby to pick it up yourself. If you need something after 10pm you have to walk to the lobby to pick it up yourself.

There is no gift shop on the property, so if forget a small item the staff directed you to the town. Staff was not rude. They just did their job. No one went above and beyond.

Also check in is enforced at 4pm but check out is at 10am. I asked for late check out at 11am and it was a struggle. Although they agreed they deactivated my key at 10am.

The food at the buffet and restaurants were good. No complaints there. There was no real entertainment but walking into the town was less than 10 minutes so you were able to find things to do..

Overall I loved Bonaire but would not recommend the hotel.

We loved the Manta Monday presentation. We loved the dive ship and everyone that worked there was kind and relaxed. The hotel was very central and everything was at the hotel or within close proximity to the hotel. We loved Bonaire and think the location made it great. We also loved the Chibi Chibi bird in the restaurant and loved seeing her steal sugar from the alcohol bottles and then go to her nest. Those experiences and learning from the locals made our vacation magical.

Love that the Divi Flamingo Beach hotel and timeshare studios are very close to the water - footsteps from the ocean. The island's waterfront is a bit rocky and watershoes are recommended. The hotel's restaurants were good, the beach bar is heaven at sunset, the resort is walkable to town. The waters are among the best in the world for snorkeling and diving, and safe with no surf or surge. If you want action, nightlife, gambling, golf, go to Aruba. This island is quiet and relaxing, and so is this hotel.

Fantastic vacation! From the moment I arrived the entire staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. Misha and Calvin were wonderful to me the entire time I was there. Celine was top notch! She was professional, welcoming and friendly and could be seen at various times in different locations about the property. My housekeeper was Kayliana (not sure of spelling) and made sure I had everything I needed daily.
The property was beautiful and well maintained. Plenty of chairs, cabanas and shade between the two property pools. The view was par-none and definitely one of the most beautiful beaches of the Caribbean.
I was all inclusive and found enough dining options to satisfy my needs. The breakfast buffet was good and many choices. Coffee was okay but I preferred making my own in my room. Finding a meal is hard if you have off hours since the restaurants are only open at certain times.
My room was in the perfect location. It was quiet and I was never disturbed which is exactly what I was looking for. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was super comfy with wonderful pillows. Nice TV with plenty of channel selections. A/C worked well. Bathroom was satisfactory and comes with a basic hair dryer; not one of those wall things that is there to simply say they have! Plenty of towels except I had no wash clothes. The front desk quickly accommodated as well as housekeeping when I asked for. And that view from the 2nd story balcony is incredible.
The spa is a must visit!!

We got to our room and it was not cleaned and even if they could clean the bathroom the show doors at the bottoms were nasty and needed to be replaced. No AC and we backed up and left. The best decision of the stay. If you are going to renovate, do it right.

I purchased a package that was advertised as \"11 boat dives and unlimited shore dives\" but that never happened and I had to pay for all dives once we arrived. Divi pointed to Expedia and Expedia declined all help unless I had screen shot of the advertisement when I placed the order. Take screen shot or use a different service. Over paid 1,500 for a service I never recieved.

My wife and I stayed here in 1998 for our honeymoon, and we returned for our 25th anniversary.
It is still a wonderful place to stay, and even better since it has been updated.
Our room was immaculate, as were the grounds. You constantly see staff cleaning up. Speaking of staff, they are amazing! I can't name them all, but each and every person we talked to were beyond friendly and helpful.
For now, we only snorkel, and it is perfect off of the resort. Food and drink options are all good, and there are also some good restaurants close by.
We really liked the pizza place at Divi! It was better than expected.
We are so glad we could go back, and hope to return again soon!

Everything was great while I was there. I had a real difficult time contacting the location with my questions. I called and was one hold for over an hour and then left a message. Didn’t get return calls. So I had unanswered questions that honestly worked out just fine. I had the same issue with emailing the dive shop- never got a return email. So I didn’t schedule anything or get my questions answered but everything sounds like there needs to be zero plans and diving is easy there. When I got there the shop wouldn’t let us dive until the next day after this orientation they only do at 930am. So I lost a half day of diving for this 20 min orientation. I asked if I could pay for it to be done when I arrived and I was told ‘no Bc people that fly in are tired and dehydrated.’ I’m a mom of young kids. I was pretty disappointed in this. And I kept being told everything was booked up and I should have scheduled ahead. It was said to me consistently. But it wasn’t all booked up. I went on boat dives and did everything I wanted. I just asked them to let me know if things opened up and things always did. I just felt like they are use to the same divers coming years after years or divers that have been to Bonaire many times that they aren’t use to new people asking questions. At one point I had to tell the person at the dive shop that I am asking questions Bc I do not know the answer. After organizing these details- I had a great time. The resort and workers were so fun and nice.

We really enjoyed staying at the resort. It was convenient to many places. We did the all inclusive and the food in the Chibi Chibi was good. The buffet was very limited on different types of food. Overall it was good. They had a singer for a couple of evenings for a couple nights. Otherwise there is not much entertainment. It does have a small casino attached.

A difficult week in Divi

The room was musty but management did not even react. Mold in the airconditioning frightening. Neighbor got robbed by the maid. After police report part of money was returned. Management did nothing. No roomservice. As an elderly person difficult to get around. They should maybe have a trolley going from one end to the other.

Great location in Kralendijk. This hotel has a very good dive shop and a house reef. Good snorkeling at the hotel as well. Good food, great areas to relax outdoors. Two nice pools. Optional all-inclusive, which we think was very much worth it. Everything is outdoors: very safe especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. A great hotel for families as well. The cruise terminal is close-by BUT cruise passengers are not allowed on the property.

This time, by the damage it appeared that the bathroom door has been kicked in and poorly repaired instead of replaced. 1 The site has limited inside parking, otherwise you have to park outside, looking at the cars closest to the entrance most were not guests but company cars, employees and contractors. One very close parking space was stacked with pallets. Apparently it never occurred to the management to reserve the parking spots closest to the entrance for the guests. It is more important that the pool contractor can park nearby
