A beautiful property with a nice sandy private beach, great snorkeling right there, and a wonderful staff. Good food at the on site restaurant La Balandra, convenient and delightful.
Easy 25 minute walk into town. Great dive shop on the property. Incredibly quiet and relaxing here.
We’ll be back, that says it all!

HVBC is outstanding. Our room was excellent with a view of their sandy beach. (rare in Bonaire) It is a subdued resort where you can really relax. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The bar and dining room are surrounded by water. (OK. On 3 sides) Absolutely beautiful. The dive shop runs 3 boats out of the site for scuba and snorkeling, and the staff was so helpful. And the snorkeling right off the beach was outstanding.

We loved our first trip to Bonaire, and plan to return to HVBC asap!

The service and team there was excellent. Their attention towards us was exceptional. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The property was beautiful. No negative feedback. Only that our kitchen sink had a bad leak and there was a gap between the entry door to our room and the floor. Had to stuff a towel in it to keep mosquitos out. I would definitely recommend staying there. We met many others there who were repeat visitors.

The beautiful and relaxing atmosphere allows one to enjoy the unique flavor of this Dutch Caribbean island.
It also has a wonderfully run 5-star PADI dive shop called “Great Adventures” on the property.

Very quiet. Beautiful setting. Staff excellent. Very quiet beach where there are very few beaches like this in the island. Location is not in town, which actually is great. I would recommend renting a car for your excursions, etc.. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Would absolutely stay there again. The landscaping is gorgeous. The snorkeling off the Harbour Village beach was on par with snorkeling in several locations around the island! The beach area is delightful and totally relaxing. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful and spent a lot of time patiently answering questions. The room was very comfy and spacious.

The only two issues:
1. the hotel next door plays loud music on Fri and Sun nights until 9 or 10pm. Our room was right next to that property and we found the music disturbed the otherwise peaceful vibe, esply on our first night when all we wanted to do was sleep.
2. the internet was not working, no matter what help we got from staff. it kept connecting then kicking us off. plus cell reception was very very poor in our room. It was super frustrating.... until... we released any expectations of WiFi and then relaxed into the concept of truly being unplugged while on the property. :-)

Upon arrival, we were greeted by security and then the bell staff. Very friendly and helpful from the start. Check-in was quick and easy. All staff was very welcoming and kind. We had a Marina View room. Nice size, liked the kitchenette, and great balcony. Very quiet throughout the day! Bathroom was a little small, but that was never an issue for us. Whole property is very quiet and fed into the relaxation that we were looking for. Beach was nice. Not very large, but still made for some good snorkeling. Water shoes not required, but we still wore them as there are some very rocky areas just off the beach. Plenty of seating on the beach and plenty of shading provided through a few umbrellas and many palm trees. The one and only restaurant was top notch! Never a bad meal and staff was overly friendly. Catches of the day were just spectacular!!! Not a party resort at all, but that's a positive for us. A lot of divers and snorkelers on site, so if you're into either, there is a high likelihood of some camaraderie! Location of the resort is only a 5-minute drive to downtown Kralendijk and located near some excellent restaurants. Very safe, clean, and friendly resort. We had a great time in Bonaire and would easily stay here again!! Thank you to all of the Harbour Village staff! You guys were amazing!

This is a very lovely resort. Quiet, beautiful beach, spacious rooms, wonderful spa and staff. The restaurant is a bit pricey but very delicious and convenient. They bring snacks to your beach chair! Good snorkeling right on the private beach. Pools were good for laps. We loved our stay here.

Fantastic! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and clean, the restaurant has a nice variety of dishes, all excellent, the beach is so convenient, and there's a dive shop right at the hotel. We hant to return!

The advertised snorkeling trip to Kline Bonaire wasn't available at all: all they offered was a slot on a Scuba dive boat. They suggested a boat taxi to Kline Bonaire but didn't help us find one. There was a boat taxi available 1 km. away but it was through a direct competitor, so they didn't suggest it; we had to walk around the docks and find it on our own.

This was our second time in Bonaire and there was no doubt in my mind, we would stay Harbour Village. There are so many other places we will visit but when we want peace and quiet, this will be it. We came for a milestone birthday, the staff did everything for us, from arranging airport transportation and we say the friendliest face picking us up, Huntley. He was the same gentleman that greeted us last time and he remembered us. He said welcome home. We were greeted again by Sietze and Shainyn, who were and still are incredible host and genuine in their welcome.

The rooms are very clean, the entire property for that matter is well kept. I spent a lot of time in the beach, you wouldn’t think there are birds around, the chairs, the hammocks, the beach, everything is always impecable. We wanted to explore so rented a car for the day, we never had to leave to get the car, it was brought to us and picked up at the hotel. Driving in Bonaire was not as bad as I thought it was going to be either. The hotel staff recommended Loc Bay, it’s a must see. The most beautiful place I’ve even seen, we passed the flamingo sanctuary and a few donkeys along the way.

For my birthday, hubby arranged for flowers to be sent to our room, they were just gorgeous. We also booked massages, it was also amazing. First time we came to the island and Harbour Village, we just went for walks downtown which was easy and beautiful. We had all our meals at the Balandra, amazing and fresh every single time.

The staff was so excellent. Ximena reached out to me before I even arrived with questions and tips to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The dining staff was terrific and the food - excellent. I had a hard time choosing what to eat because everything I tried was great. Every staff person I encountered ont he property made me feel welcome and cared for.

Fantastic Property

Harbour Village is a great place to stay in Bonaire. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The location is very convenient for water activities (next door marina) and close to restaurants. The restaurant / bar is also very good and service was outstanding! Harbour village has one of the few sand beaches on the island. You feel secluded, but it is basically in the city of Kralendijk.

Bonaire- Only Place to Stay is Harbour Beach Club!

We had a fantastic two weeks at the Harbour Village Beach Club! We had a self-contained apartment overlooking the sea which was so well equipped it even had 2 WCs and a dis-washer. As well as catering for ourselves with shopping visits to the Van den Tween supermarket which had excellent fresh produce and range of wines, we dined at the superb on-site La Balendra restaurant which had a wide-ranging menu and fabulous Chef’s Specials. The restaurant is shaped as a wooden boat and juts out into the sea and in the evenings the surrounding water is illuminated and you can see fish such as tarpon swimming around from your table - superb. To add to things, a huge pelican landed on the stern and stay there for half a day. The diving from the resort with the Great Adventures team was fantastic. The conditions were so good that it was possible to dive every day and even do a night dive to see the sparkling Ostracods after the Full Moon. Hank, Seskia, Flavia and the whole Dive Team made it one of the best dive experiences in the last decade. One thing that really stood about the resort was the cleanliness of the garden grounds, with the hummingbirds and bananaquits in abundance, and also the cleanliness of the rooms thanks to Lucy from Housekeeping and the grounds men who ensured the beach was cleaned every night. Last but not least was the really lovely warm welcome of the Front Desk team and their helpful advice and suggestions throughout our stay. We will definitely be back soon!

Hidden Gem in Bonaire

Our entire stay was wonderful. I’m not a diver yet, but got a lot braver because of the encouragement of the wonderful people at the resort. This was our first time in Bonaire & couldn’t have asked for a better crew to be a part of this. We wanted to literally relax and we got to do that. The beach is really a bubble, we ate every meal at Balandra, at first because of convenience then it was just a no brainer. On our next trip we will explore more but this was the vacation we needed. It was my husbands bday and the entire staff made him feel special. We got to know Emma at the restaurant truly amazing manager and just overall person and leader. Mark was just amazing, so were Mosa, Gisela, Claudia and Hurtley. The Harbour Village is truly a special hidden gem in plain site. The bed was incredible comfortable, the welcome was warm with a hint of luxury, the food at La Balandra was incredible, the view amazing, the staff incredible warm, hospitable and caring. The cleaning wonderful. I also used the gym, it is properly equipped though some of the equipment is a little older. We will be coming back for sure in a few months. Thank you so much for an amazing vacation!

Harbor Village is so comfortable! There is space to relax; the restaurant is lovely and the food is good; the beach is terrific with a nice easy area to swim and snorkel; the birds and the pair of local iguanas keep us company; but most of all it's the people there! This is not just professional service; these are people who care about you want your time with them to be really good. They literally go out of their way to see that you are okay and have what you need, whether it's coming or going home again or anything in between. These are people who don't tell you where it is you are wishing to go, they walk with you and get you there! Front office; restaurant; bar; dive shop - wherever. If you want a place to be HOME while you are in Bonaire, this is definitely the place

The property was very nice and the staff exceptional. We ate almost every meal in the restaurant located right there and every meal was absolutely delicious. The beach was clean, although small, but it had a lot of nice shade if you wanted that and many nice chairs, tables and hammocks. Overall, it was a very relaxing vacation.

Our stay at the Harbor Village Beach Club was perfect. The resort is big enough to have all the amenities you need to indulge yourself, but small enough that you can quickly get from your room to the beach to the restaurant to the dive shop with no stress. With multiple dive boats leaving each day from the hotel dock, everyone could do as much or as little diving as they felt like. The shaded porches and balconies, thoughtfully designed low-rise units, and well-tended landscaping create an almost Mediterranean atmosphere. By the end of our stay, the staff and our fellow guests felt like family. If you are looking for an easy family scuba diving vacation, I can’t imagine a better place.
