The room was smaller than I expected, it was clean but a few teenagers that I had to keep killing so they wouldn’t go in my things. The staff was polite and kind. Hardly any English but I used Google Translate so it wasn’t bad. The breakfast was okay, they just needed a wider variety and for it to be hot. The outside of the building would make you not book it if you saw it in person but the interior is very clean and nice. The area looks not so safe, but each time I went outside we were safe so don’t watch the location. There is a nice restaurant across from the casino, the food is great there. As well as a burger cart. The burger slack and it’s for $2.50. My overall experience was good I give them a 4 star. Would go back if I’m traveling to Panama again. I do hope the exterior is upgraded though and them teenagers gone.

We arrived at your hotel at about 2 PM.
Both female desk members sat behind the desk with their heads down and never looked up. Finally, after a couple of minutes I had to say hello. They looked up, went through our paperwork and said we have to wait until three for a room, cause it’s not ready. I asked if we could at least complete the paperwork and pay for the room so they don’t have to do every person in line at 3 PM. she decided to do that and when she completed, she gave us a room. It’s quite obvious it was ready five minutes earlier when she told me to sit down she just didn’t feel like doing anything until 3 PM.
The rest of the staff was great.
The air-conditioning in the room was horrible. 1009.
There was mold in numerous locations in the bathroom, which I took pictures of.
Also, the Wi-Fi was poor.This is not the quality I expect from a Radisson/Choice hotels brand establishment.

Nice room, great rooftop pool area, friendly staff, free breakfast buffet. Cons: area is pretty shady, don't walk around at night, use uber. Bugs in the bathroom everyday, not terrible but more than my liking.

Overall not a bad place, and now knowing the cons, I'd still go back. And a big plus is, it's close to everything. Ubers always between $3-5. Great!

I booked this room for my elderly grandmother, who had an appointment at the nearby hospital, along with my aunts. The staff was very kind and welcoming. According to my family, the room was clean, comfortable, and very nice. It made their stay much easier during an important medical visit. I’m grateful for the great service they gave my family!

The hotel was affordable and offered good value for the price. Breakfast was well organized and delicious. The building itself was okay, and for a short stay of a few days, the room was a decent size and well maintained. However, the bedding and towels could definitely use an upgrade.
The location was very central, with a 24-hour supermarket and several restaurants nearby, which was very convenient. Overall, it’s a good option if you’re looking for a centrally located hotel at a reasonable price.

The first room I went to have roaches and insects; they moved me then to a bigger room and the rooms were not clean. The room had a tub but the water stop was broken off and I couldn’t even enjoy the tub. The breakfast was very small in variety and not tasty. I will never return to this hotel

Walking out of the elevator straight into the room was immediately unsettling. The condition of the room felt unsafe and poorly maintained. The bedroom window could not lock, and the bathroom had no window at all, which was uncomfortable and concerning.

There appeared to be mold on several areas of the walls that looked like they had simply been painted over. The ceiling was visibly cracking, and the TV was extremely small (around 20 inches), adding to the overall feeling that the room had not been properly updated or cared for.

The bathroom setup was also inadequate. There were only two drying towels provided and no floor towel, despite having a standing shower, which made the space impractical and slippery.

Overall, this was honestly the worst and most unsafe place I’ve ever walked into. I would not recommend staying here.

We had a lot of issues from no soap dispensers filled to the AC not working enough to cool the room. We canceled our reservation with the front desk, and they confirmed I could get a refund through Expedia and now they won’t answer their phone from Expedia to actually refund us. 100% don’t recommend after having to jump through hoops to still get the shaft from Faranda.

The front desk staff (all of them) were very friendly, helpful and responsive to our needs. Although there was a huge line-up to get checked in, we were able to leave our luggage (through a ticketing system) and return to check-in later. This was super helpful because we had nowhere to store them until the rooms were ready. We had a problem with the pipes in the bathroom and they got it fixed.

The rooms are a little dated and the wifi didn't work in my room (but did just outside the room) but overall, the hotel was a good clean and safe.

One thing to note is that the hotel is advertised as having airport transfer. This is not true. The hotel does not have any transfer to or from the airport. This was disappointing because it was one of the main reasons we booked here. This needs to be removed from the amenities.

They serve a hearty complimentary breakfast (eggs-boiled and fried, sausage, pancakes, juice, fruit, cereal, rice) which is good when you are on a budget.

Overall, our short stay here as a group of 5 was a good experience (apart from the airport transfer).

Hotel Faranda Soloy in Panama was clean and had helpful staff. However, rooms lacked basic amenities like bottled water and a microwave. The breakfast menu wasn’t suitable for me—rice and beef liver didn’t feel like a good choice. Additionally, the surrounding area felt high-risk, so caution is advised when going out. Overall, decent value with room for improvement.

My mom and I had a somewhat comfortable stay at the hotel, it was clean and the staff were all helpful and professional, the restaurant downstairs was a major convenience to us and it was close to great stores. However, on my last day there I got too comfortable and left my purse in the room to reheat my food at the restaurant I didn't realise until I was at the airport to buy stuff that my money was missing. My assumption is that the cleaning staff stole it, on another occassion we had a scare, late afternoon we came back and found our room was left open with all our stuff out in the open. Upon returning home we noticed a few of our items missing.

Overall we had a good stay but ensure you secure your belongings.

I had to think long and hard before I gave my honest opinion on this hotel. Overall, the hotel has an average offering. Attention to details is lacking in ALL areas: The check-in process, it took 3 persons to check me in. The breakfast (buffet), I stayed there for 7 nights and was served powdered eggs and hot dogs 6 mornings repeatedly. Room service: Why was I finding stands of long hair on my pillowcases and seeing bottle caps under the bed on the first day of check-in and upon departure the bottle caps were still under the bed? (Which tells me that the rooms are not thoroughly cleaned when guest change.

In terms of the location, the hotel is directly opposite a 24-hour grocery store which is perfect to go get your necessities. There is a casino next door as well for entertainment, the boardwalk is a 5 min walk from the hotel (must go at nights for an amazing view) and a police station is a block away. 👍

The roof deck experience was very questionable. From construction happening on the top floor, they could have blocked the windows so customers wouldn't have to see it. The pool didn't appear to be that sanitary as the water level was below the jets and there was a dark line around the top. Furthermore, seeing one of the general workers sweeping around the pool with a broom to move the water from the rainfall and seeing the water going in the pool was certainly not that inviting at all.

On a positive note, the view from the rooftop is EXCELLENT at night.

The property is good with a good rate,my only issue is the breakfast option can be a bit wider,and also the language barrier makes communication with staff very different,I just feel as a hotel that welcome guest from all over should make English a priority especially at the front desk and in the restaurant for easy communication...with that being said some of the staff are extremely kind and patient with me and dmy group, just to note there's a 24hr store next door that sell everything you can possibly need...thanks much will definitely stay here again.

The building was dirty upon arrival not as seen in pictures the location was horrible very ghetto and has alot of trash in the streets we took more than 40 minutes to check in and once we got checked in we changed 5 rooms before eventually giving up and settling in one of the upgraded rooms because we found dirty sheets in some then another had dust and mold on the lamp shades, next day we had to change rooms again because the doors didn't lock which was very unsafe, one morning we looked out the window and saw 3 people having sex in the pool of the nearby hotel very disturbing especially if a child had looked out there, we were placed on the 8 floor with no Wi-Fi for the entire 10 day trip very disappointing because we couldn't keep in contact with the outside world, our room was placed next to the utility room and we heard all sorts of noises coming from the pump etc, the breakfast was a bit limited not much of a variety and only had artificial orange juice nothing else, they didn't have a bell boy to assist with the luggage on arrival or departure, only plus was that the house keeping was extremely excellent our house keeper was the best and also the front desk receptionist was very helpful and accommodating Enma and Indira.... I won't recommend this hotel unless they resolve all these issues paint and repair the entire building and not to forgetting the pool was horrible my daughter was disappointed with the condition, I give it 3 / 10

Its in close proximity to all the major malls and night life. There is a 24h groceries and convenience shopping within that same complex from appliances, devices, clothing for all, school supplies and school uniforms and a pharmacy (small but will.have what you need). Local fruits can be found the street over.
It was an overall good experience would sure do it again.

This is the worst hotel I've been in Panama City. My room wasn't available so the gave another one with 2 beds, so I went to the room and it was occupied, then they gave another one and it was occupied too. Their system is broken, they don't know which rooms are empty or clean.

Finally, when I got an empty room, it has no towels so I needed to go down to the front desk because they never answer the phone in the reception. Next day I realized towels and sheets had stains, so disgusting. The building looks dirty, old and smells funny. Some walls are leaking water front the A/C.

Internet doesn't work in the rooms, only in the lobby and restaurants area. They gave me a free meal after complaining twice in the front desk.

I know hotels in this area are not the best but this is an international hotel chain, so it is not fair you charge more for an hotel in so poor conditions, I’ve been in cheaper hotels in the neighborhood and the offer better facilities and service.

I've been in other Faranda hotels in different countries and this is not a nice place. Shame on you.

Hotel puede tener muchas fallas el cual puede ser ajeno a los empleados el cual entiendo y comprendo perfectamente que no tiene la culpa sin embargo si tu trato es pésimo solo lo arruina como fue nuestro caso desde la llegada con el recepcionista de lentes y la de pelo largo fue pésimo las formas que tiene de atender a la gente y no solo fue conmigo si no con otros huéspedes que conocimos durante la estadía

Si no te importa como te hagan sentir el hotel puede ser perfecto para ti pero desde mi punto de vista el servicio es pésimo por el cual no lo recomiendo
