Property condition is dated. Parking was difficult as spaces were small and very limited. Access to parking was rough. Reception staff was inconsistent -- one was \"surely\" while other 2 were helpful and worked with me to solve issues. Took them 3 days to fix clogged drain. Breakfast was adequate but choices limited -- got job done.
Overall hotel served purpose. Centrally located in Panama City. Would stay again.

Excellent location! Very close to Iglesia del Carmen Church. Very close to El Rey supermarket and Riba Smith supermarket. Very helpful employees. They readily make change of 10 or 20 dollar bills. Taxis are readily available outside along Via España street. Very good and reasonably priced on-site restaurant

Avoid this place.

The desk service was poor. I asked for an extra pillow and the women looked as if I was putting her out. Never got that pillow after she said she would send it. I asked for hangers and an extra key card for myself and had to call back twice. The bed was old and hard and I couldn't sleep. Furniture was sparse. Finally checked out early. We were told because we reserved through Hotels.com there would be no refund. Avoid this place like the plague.

I want my money to be returned, because if this does not happen was to go to justice for moral damages and also disclose on the social networks the poor service of this hotel. I booked two days so my family could rest and have breakfast. delea's flight arrived before 7 am and the transfer took more than two hours to pick them up at the airport. When they arrived at the hotel they learned that they would have to leave the hotel at 13.30 pm because they would not have moved later, and their flight would only be at 20.00 hours. That is, I paid two days for their comfort and one of the guests is already over 65 years old to only stay 4 hours in the hotel. I will sue if this shipment does not return my money

The location is great. The property needs updating in many ways starting with the rooms. There needs to be more attention to detail. I found things in drawers that should have been cleaned out and breakfast could have been better. The staff was very friendly except for check-in, they couldn't find my reservation...

I would like to ask Expedia team to fix hotel features description because you state free airport shuttle and in fact we must pay for that. Additionally advise the customer to call the hotel and ask about shuttle times because it is 4:30 or 7:30 which is too bad for the trip.

Great location. Walkable to shopping and great restaurants. Beautiful church close by. The Traffic is a bit loud and staying over the pool can get a little overwhelming at night when you are trying to rest and people are singing at the top of their lungs, but its all part of the experience!
The bed was very comfortable and the TV worked great. Its a little different having to put your key in the wall to get the AC going so it was always rough coming back after a really hot day to a hot hotel room but it cools off quickly

I booked this hotel for my client and she was very unhappy. Some of her complaints were that her room and air from the AC smelled extremely moldy, the towels were old and worn, the bathroom had disgusting black scum on the tiles and there was no lounge chairs by the pool (a lady was sitting on the cold tiles with her children), and that the shuttle was frequent but never on time for pick up.She also said the breakfast was good.

The Front Desk staff is very unprofessional. We booked this hotel for one of our employees due to an unexpected stop in Panama, and the airport transportation was a selling point. On arrival to the hotel, the front desk didn't had a clue regarding the details of the reservation.

Easy to get around from this location.

The airport shuttle to and from the airport was great. Breakfast was not bad at all and had a good variety of items to choose from. The hotel is just a couple of blocks away from the Metro underground trains. There are also a number of restaurants and shops in the area. This hotel is also conveniently located just a few blocks from the beautiful waterfront.

This was probably a really nice hotel at one time but needs a major remodel. The room was clean, staff was very helpful and pleasant. Had a hot shower but showerhead needed replaced. The full breakfast was really the highlight of my one night stay. Got a free shuttle ride from Tocumen Airport to the hotel but they charge $2 for the ride back to the airport which was no big deal. Pickup at the hotel to airport is only at certain times so plan accordingly.

The room was dirty. Stained bed, stained chair, dirty fridge, wall paint was cracking and dirty. Inside door handle kept falling off. Toilet wad way to close facing the shower wall so I had to sit sideways. Window in room was open with no screen on arrival and had been open for who knows how long. Construction out front of hotel the whole stay and street noise was very loud in room. Employees were mostly indifferent and some were rude. Pool water was freezing and hot tub was broken. 1.5 stars tops.

Zero star hotel..............Their scheduled wake up call in the morning never happened for their \"free\" shuttle tht we had to pay for.. They only have 2 times for the morning shuttle . Leave at 4:30 or 9 am. Because we had a 9:30 flight and needed to be at the airport at at least 7:30 we had to take the 4:30 am shuttle.....which we were the only ones on !!!!!
Not only that but they had a driver and codriver for 2 \"guests\" that they could have driven in at 7am
and arrived at &:30 when we wanted . Totally mismanaged......Zero star hotel.

We stayed in a Queen room that was adequate in size but rather dark. There was a lot of dust on the back of the door and one of the nightstands but otherwise seemed clean. Good size walk-in shower with hot water, upgraded sink and toilet but cramped for space. Soap and shampoo were provided. Mattress was comfortable. Bar size refrigerator but no coffee pot. Good WiFi in room and lobby.Staff were pleasant, helpful, spoke minimal English. Breakfast was adequate, fair variety of hot and cold foods to choose from. Location was walking distance to downtown. Overall good value.

Great Value Stay

We have stayed at this hotel on three different occasions. We like the free shuttle from the airport, appreciate the free breakfast, and have enjoyed some nice inexpensive meals in the restaurant. It is really a bargain. This time, unlike the others, I noticed that the bedding was getting quite worn and stained, but the room itself was very clean and the linens probably were, too.

The people at the desk were friendly and helpful.

Basic hotel ..the reason why i stayed here was to take advantage of the airport shuttle...make sure u check shuttle times before booking because they only run a few times a day...a taxi to pty will cost u $35 so the hotel only charged me i believe $2 for the shuttle but u leave at their times...

Reception/waiting area very small. Workers must have been in the room before we arrived as there was white dust on the desk and in the bathroom. Reception staff were friendly as were restaurant staff. Breakfast was nothing to write home about but maybe that is the Panamanian diet. No shuttle after 21:00 so had to pay 30 dollars for taxi from airport.

Good location combined with price

This is a good combination of location and price. It is 'traveler's' walking distance from a lot of important places, nice restaurants and shopping. It's not far from the coast and the walk to Casco Viejo is great along the ocean side. We walked from the Parcque Natural Metropolitano and Albrook, too. Really not that bad and a great way to see the city for newcomers.

A main bus route, subway station, grocery store, and church are a stone's throw away.

We kept choosing this hotel because of it's convenience combined with its price on hotels.com.

As soon as i arrived they wouldnt let me check in until i emailed their front desk a email with my name and date of check in etc even though i already had a reservation through hotels.com
This made no sense to me ..anyway the main reason i booked this hotel was to use their free airport shuttle which is $2 a person not free by the way but after contacting the manager and asking if it had a special schedule he mentioned nothing of a schedule. When i arrived they said sorry the shuttle only runs on these times during the day . My flight was too late to use the shuttle so i felt this was a wasted stay had to pay $30 taxi fee anyway and could of stayed at a way nicer place.

Nice budget Hotel in the town center

My husband and I reserved a room for a 1 night stay the day before going to Panama city. We found a good deal through Expedia and decided to take it. We got there and though the staff was not very talkative at all, they were able to find our reservation and quickly give us our room key. The hotel is not that fancy, but for the price we paid, it was much better than expected. Very comfortable, clean rooms, hot water (yes, some budget hotels do not provide this, they will just say the water heating system broke and never fix it), wifi, comfy bed, and no noise. We had a very good night sleep. The only complaint we have is that they start to serve breakfast a little bit late (7:00 am-9:00 am), when the city is up from 5:00 am. I think 6:00 am would be a good time to start serving breakfast. Nonetheless, it was a good experience for the price. We would definitively go again.

The good: Nice hotel staff. Breakfast was ok. Transport from airport is a plus.
The bad: Room and bathroom were dirty, walls were smudged, rusty fridge, toilet only flushed on occasion, shower door had a crack in it, bathroom door could not be closed, bathroom vent didn't work. You have to use a card to have any electricity (fridge and A/C don't work without it). Overall, it was not a pleasant stay.
Other: I found the return airport fee to be misleading (I had understood it was free both ways. It is not). There are specific airport return times as well.
Small lounge area around the pool with a total of three lounge chairs. Metal chairs are provided, though.
Fitness center is in bad condition. I would not recommend using it.
We received only two towels until the last day (in which we complained to the maid) and finally got a bathmat (we had been having to use one of the towels as a bathmat). This may have been our fault for not complaining sooner.

The hotel has good location, but the reception staff were not very friendly. We asked directions and places of interest and gave no help. The linens, glasses and other items that should change daily spent more than 5 days without cleaning or replacing. We could not use the pool because I was horribly dirty, not return to this hotel and recommend it.

I wish I could give a better review. But this place was dirty and disgusting. I dont get the 3.5 stars.

The good. The staff is very friendly and nice. I did recieve the wake up call I asked for. I used the shuttle service to and from the hotel which was convenient. My flight was cancelled so it served its purpose a quck shower and than back to the airport.

The bad. This place is just dirty. It looks like they tried to renovate a couple things. A picture taken on the right angle and the room looks great. But once you're in the room... no good. At first glance I said ok its dooable but it was so dirty that I didn't feel comfortable sleeping in the room. I just sat and waited for the shuttle service. I went to take a shower and there was hair all in the shower as well as an opened soap and shampoo. If someone went in to clean the shower after the previous guests left I'm sure those would have been removed. I spilled some water wiped it up and my napkin was literally BLACK. The bedding looked dingy and in need of some bleach. And there were hairs and several things in the sheets. It just didn't look like they changed the sheets after the previous guest. I wish I could like this place. But this place is disgusting. I'd hate to see what the homes of the people they have in charge of housecleaning look like. I would never stay here again. I sat in the chair until it was time to go. It was gross.
