This was a very nice stay. The room was a good size, with a TV, a safe, comfortable mattresses, and convenient parking. It was a good value, located in an area with plenty of restaurants and activities. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The Property is located far from popular malls such as Multiplaza. I was locked out of the Hotel one night I came back at 11pm. I came to my room to find no running water and had to go query it with desk staff. The in room refrigerator was dirty. The breakfast was inedible, cold and very limited in options. Unfortunately I don't recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Panama for vacation. If they upgrade the rooms with modern shower heads, furniture, carpeting and lighting as well as widen the range on the breakfast menu to a more continental menu it can be a Hotel worth staying at in the future

This place is nothing like the photos. Rooms have mold and mildew the toilet clog up a lot The AC leak water the whole building smells the elevator smell like it have a gas leak. I was uncomfortable the whole time I was there

The staff watching u in every moment, every movement u do, you feel like somebody watching u. No discretion at all. Also they said you cannot receive visitors or if u receive someone can be just 5 or 10 min. Also en Expedia the website say can sleep 4 people in a double room (2 queen bed) and they say you cannot to do that.

The staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful. There was a convenient kitchen area which suited our needs. The area was very quiet unlike where I live in Jamaica. The only negative was that the hot water in the shower did not work during the last days we were there but we didn't complain. We spent 10 days there.

My at suite ambassador

I stay for 5 day at suite ambassador. The room were the wrong one. the bathroom and had mole and mildew, broken door knob, soap dish broken, plus room fridge was leek in water on the floor. Also had exposed wire by the TV outlet and the breaker box had no cover. The WiFi connection in the room was horrible, there was few day with no WiFi. The elevator was not working. During morning breakfast there was a cockroach by the coffee maker. My stay at the hotel was not pleasant.

Cangrejo area is near many restaurants and stores taxi to casco viejo is around 5 US dólar , not because is far, but hot to walk, USA dollar is the currency use, if you like to visit the canal or other places, there are taxi drivers that u can make deals to go. There are a few trouble areas, ask at hotel for info, but no to worry just like any other countries, February is summer in Panama. Siesta check that before you go anywhere, and how safes, here is safe but u have to be careful don’t walk at night alone, don’t wear anything that shows and keep must money and Passport etc at the hotel, make copy and take with you, during the day a walked and after hours took taxis is cheap,

Wow I booked thisbplace because I always stay at a wyndam if I can I am also a timeshare owner but this hotel was terrible I do not recomend it, avoid if you can. I had 3 rooms and when I got there they didnt have my reservation they did find us rooms and the whole checkin was wierd but counter staff was nice. My room was supposed to be king bed we got queen but room was not in wyndham repair standard also our bed had one pillow and they could not provide any more till second night. there was no hot water for shower or sink no lock box the breakfast was ok. We went to the other wyndham hotel for our 3rd nigh in Panama that is a great place.

The hotel was very old. The concierge didn't like that I bought it through Expedia and was complaining all along.
The jr suite looked very old. There was no tv in the main room. It was not decorated at all.

Apparently a renovated apartment building, this unit doesn't live up to the Wyndam name. A big room, the carpet was substandard and dirty, the AC control didn't work, and the staff struggled to locate our reservation.

It could improve, but this hotel is not a good place to stay at this time.

Good location, cheap but disappointing

The hotel is located in a nice area near a good selection of restaurants, is easy to go from it to touristic sites and entertaining areas.

The room had a view of the next building (like 5 meters from it) so I needed to have the curtains closed all time to have some privacy. The building is old and the rooms show it, the old carpet in the room had better times and the kitchenette is not well maintained.

Service is not at the international level of other hotels in the area, is more for local people.

If you are going to visit Panama on a thigh budget this could be an option, but for a couple of dollars more there are plenty of better alternatives

Convenient and a good price.

This is a very nice hotel and I would stay here again if my other hotel had no vacancy. The breakfast was adequate. It is a good hotel for the money. The kitchen was dark and a little grim. I was unable to have tea in my room. There was no microwave or coffee maker. The living area was spacious and the bath clean and convenient.

My hotel room had a hole in the wall, fist size

My hotel room had a hole in the wall the size of a tennis ball. There are no good restaurants around and the A/C was not working as expected. The curtains in my room were also falling apart.

I spent 2 nights there and fortunately had to stay in the room for less than 5 hours per night. I guess there is nothing with a better price around, however next time I might consider paying a little bit more and stay near Costa del Este.

Okay room for a budget stay.

Good size room for the price but the hotel needs updating and the room needs a good clean and paint. My room was first floor and had an inside courtyard type view looking at dirty walls and other windows. I understand their challenge but you can dress it up a bit.

Not a place to pick in Panama City..

I stayed in this hotel before but this time the overall stage of the property plus the lack of cleaning made me left one day earlier.
The breakfast was a joke really! The price they hotel charged per night doesn't actually justify good mg there! I was not the only one complaining since I heard complaints from another guest as well while talking with a taxi diver he had a customer complaining about the service.

Hotel was ok attention was excelent, the parking spaces were very limited and there was only one iron for the whole hotel which we were asked to return at 5am!
I left the keys to my car so they could park it and guess what? They crashed it at the rear back and since they parked it in a way it was mo visible to me until today when i had already checked out

This hotel is an absolute disaster! Nothing great except leaving it! A converted apt, the room was in poor repair and the walls filthy. No hot water in the shower, and no working internet the first night. Breakfast ok, but very crowded seating.
Never again, property brings shame to the name Wyndamw!

There are two Wyndham Garden, make sure to inform the taxi driver you are going to the Panama Centro on Cangrejo sector, because it is normal that you can end on the Panama City one instead.

There are some kind of glitch with Expedia reservations, but was solve without any real issue.

The breakfast could and should be better, if I return to Panama I will stay in a different hotel.

Not the best option.

It has been one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed. I travel 6 or 8 times a year to Panamá City and this place was terrible. A extremely dirty carpet in my room, disgusting smell and a extremely simple breakfast.

Nice but many incomplete remodelling stuff

Many remodelling projects incomplete, continental breakfast was a disorganise event , not the quantity and quality that I expected. The staff was nice. they don't have a hair dryer in the all hotel. The air conditioner was linking and the white heavy curtain can be opened without the assistant of somebody.

Time to search for a different hotel.

My second year staying at this hotel.The hotel was decent but lacks much attention from the cheap owner. There is many small and large repairs the hotel needs. What gets me are the small fixes that are so easy to fix but no one does anything about them. But this clearly falls on the owners shoulders.

The staff is nice but my main problem is with the condition of the hotel and it's rooms.

Time to search for a different hotel.

Gave us a smaller room than we reserved!

They gave us a much smaller room than the picture showed and no appliances as described. The AC did not work and they finally changed our room after a lot of complaining. Breakfast was cereal and they did not understand the problems. Left next morning.

Messed up our reservation

Reserved the room on Expedia around noon. We were out enjoying the Pacific side of Panama, and decided to drive in that night. Got confirmation from Expedia. Got to the hotel several hours later, and they were out of rooms. The lady at the front desk, after 20 minutes or so, did manage to get us a room at their sister hotel - Wyndham Garden Panama City on Obario. Once we found that hotel we were able to get a room. However, the Obario Wyndham is right next to a Bingo hall. Not what we were looking for. The neighborhood is shady. The rooms were a little sub par for a Wyndham. Breakfast was very limited. Would not have gone to this hotel if not for a screwed-up reservation.

This is a farly new hotel in the area so I tried it and was not disappointed, however I expected more from a Wyndham property. That being said the room was spacious and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and courteous. They could do a better job with the parking arrangements, but it was never a problem.

Unbelievable! 3rd world treatment in A Wyndham in PC

We called the same day to confirm the room and our late arrival. They said they would hold the room for 24 hours. We arrived and they told the taxi driver to take us to a low budget hotel. We refused. I could understand the Spanish, but did not like what they were saying so I told them No entiende. Then they said in English there was something wrong with our room so they were sending us to this low budget motel. It was the middle of the night, and we were exhausted. We asked to see the room. Then they offered a better room. We had a similar thing happen at another PC hotel. They paid for our room and transportation to a better hotel. We have stayed in 7 hotels in this neighborhood. This is the worst. The hotel desperately needs remodeling. Standard pricing is ridiculous. Often the breakfast is processed ham, american cheese, bread, cereal and fruit.
The management said they woukd be contacting me about my complaint, but I never heard from them.

There was confusion about how the reservation was held. When we checked in, they needed our passports, which is normal in Panama. They also attempted to write our entire credit card number and expiration on the reservation paper. It was very uncomfortable. They said that the paper would be secured and showed us however there was no lock on the container or drawer where the paper was held. It took awhile to have them reprint the reservation document with the first 12 numbers \"x'd\" out. The rest of the stay met expectations and was good.

At first when we arrived we were told that there was no availability for the room that we reserved so we were moved to an inferior type but bigger. The view was the worst, there where patches in the wall paint and the carpet was really unclean. Also the \"Continental Breakfast\" is not that continental: it consist in bread, jam, cheese, fruits and cereal everyday just as in any hostel.

At least the personnel is really friendly and helpful and also the hotel has a great location.

A decent hotel with some signs of wear and tear.

We stayed here for two nights and it was quite enjoyable. The hotel is very modern and comfortable. Our room was large and very comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. Some of the common areas in the building are in need of renovation which seems to be under way. The location is good as shopping, restaurants and the new Metro are all in short walking distance. The breakfast was included and pretty basic, but we were grateful for having it.
The rooftop patio with exercise room and pool is especially beautiful. It is only 6 floors up, but the view is impressive. We had a great time over all.

Good hotel for the price you pay for

I have been there twice for only one night each time (airport connection). I rented a car and drove for myself. Rent a car is cheaper than using taxi services. The hotel is good for the price you pay. Hotel staff is friendly. Continental breakfast is acceptable, without much options. If you need a clean place to stay and you prefer something no to much expensive, this is your option.

Extremely Dirty and Run Down!

The hotel was situated in a great spot but the room was extremely dirty. The worse was the carpet, it was very filthy with large stains all over the room. Myself and my partner would not dare to walk on it bare footed.

The people were nice and attentive that's about the only positive I can think of.

Walls were also dirty with many scuff marks.

This hotel was not what a true Wyndham Hotel should look like.

Very sad to see corporate not care about there image.

“STAY AWAY!!!”

Our room was very old and smelled like urine. The beds were uncomfortable and the sheets had stains on them. The free breakfast was one of the worst I have seen. Carpet was so soiled it stained my socks when walked. The faucet in the bathroom wasn't mounted properly and scalded me twice. We could not get out of there fast enough!! STAY AWAY!

Nice personnel, but did not have our reservation listed & I had to e-mail the confirmation page to them for their investigation as to what happened. Elevator being replaced soon due to age. In process of renovation. Leave car keys at desk so car Canberra in garage & moved if needed.

Nice room-Great Location-Quiet Street

A nice boutique hotel, the room and bathroom were in excellent condition and lots of space. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast included a great plus to the stay - perhaps could add a little variety to the menu.

I only have one complaint and it is big. I made my reservation and paid thru Expedia with at least 3 weeks in advance, to a different location: Whyndham Garden close to Via Venetto. We had a wedding to attend to and the location was very close to the church.
We arrived to the hotel 3 hrs before the wedding and the receptionist tells me they were having problems with the air conditioners and we had to move to the other Whyndham Garden in Obarrio. No further explanations or compensation for the inconvenience - plus the new hotel did not have a swimming pool.
This created a great inconvenience for us that day, and I don't know what the real reason for the move was. It shows lack of respect for their customers, even though the hotel in Obarrio was very comfortable and we ended up having a good experience after all.

This place is alright. If I had paid more I would be dissappointed. like every where in central america, service is awful slow. The room, the whole hotel actually, is peppered with high end looking touches, marble, light fixtures, fancy basin sink. But overall quality is abismal, but on par with the city.
