The hotel was clean and comfortable but lacked the amenities to justify the cost and they definitely cut corners.

For example single ply toilet paper, limited access to water (water in room was 10$ a bottle), cheap sheets and toilet seats. Restaurants are over priced, limited service at the pool, very few towels.

The cost and reviews are justified by the location which was excellent. It’s a 3 or 4 star charging 5 star rates.

The hotel was clean and in a safe location but it is not a 5 star property. Customer service needs improvement. Not all staff was friendly or helpful. Breakfast was grossly overpriced and underwhelming. Our room was comfortable and had a beautiful view and the beds were comfortable. I would come back to Panama but probably would stay elsewhere.

Staff was very friendly. Always greeted with a warm welcome. The lady that checked us in was very informative and answered all our questions. One negative was my husband had to fix our toilet because the chain was rusted and it wouldn’t flush. We wish they had a couple of bottles of water for the coffee maker in the room. We weren’t sure if the tap water was ok to drink. Luckily we brought some with us. They do carry some bottled water in the mini fridge but it wasn’t complimentary. The bed was very comfortable. Very nice linens. Parking garage was $16.00 a night.

My girlfriend and I spent four nights at the Hilton Panama in a King Bed Junior Ocean View Room with a paid upgrade to the 26th floor — and the views alone were worth it. From sunrise over the bay to the glittering lights of the city at night, the panorama from our room was simply unforgettable.

The room was spacious, modern, and extremely comfortable. We especially enjoyed the convenience of room service, excellent brunch at Society Café, and our relaxing visit to the Eforea Spa. The rooftop pool was a definite highlight — great ambiance and even better views. The location was perfect for us, with easy access to city attractions and the added excitement of the attached casino.

One drawback, however, was the weekend construction on the ground and pool levels. The drilling and grinding sent vibrations and loud noise up to our room each morning, which was a jarring start to otherwise peaceful days. We hadn’t been informed of this in advance, and unfortunately, the hotel did not offer any compensation or solution during our stay.

Despite that inconvenience, we had a memorable experience overall. The amenities, location, and service still made for a wonderful trip, and we’d consider returning — hopefully once the renovations are complete.

This property needs a facelift. The room itself has an open bathroom concept with limited privacy. The “upscale” dining option was subpar at best. The casino was old and the Tropicana Club was just a very loud DJ, not a “show” that they advertise. Overall the property was not worth the price

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Panamá, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcomed.

The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and offered stunning views of the city and the ocean. It was well-equipped with modern amenities, including a comfortable bed that made for restful nights. The housekeeping team was also commendable, keeping my room spotless and well-stocked throughout my stay.

One of the highlights of my visit was the hotel's dining options. I enjoyed dinner at the on-site restaurant. The Emotions restaurant was amazing and the Sea Bass was chef’s kiss, kudos to chef Andre.

The hotel’s location is unbeatable, conveniently situated near major attractions, shopping areas, and restaurants. I appreciated how easy it was to explore the vibrant culture of Panama City right from the hotel.

Moreover, the amenities were top-notch. The pool area was a perfect retreat, and the fitness center was well-equipped for a great workout. I also took advantage of the complimentary Wi-Fi, which worked flawlessly throughout my stay.

Very impressive view on the 18th floor with 3 sides floor to ceiling windows. This is the most beautiful view I ever had in a hotel. Room is very comfortable with easy to control room temperature.
The shower is very big, good water pressure and hot water. It just leaked a bit on the seam at the bottom.
The hotel area is safe but not really safe to walk. On weekdays it's very busy with tons of traffic and very dangerous to cross streets. There are very few cross walks around the building. The only cross walk was at the back of the building but I didn't know so I crossed in the unmarked area and was almost hit.
There is no free bottle water in the room but there are couple of convenient stores near by. One is at the back of the block called Foodie and it got lots of choices. The other one is in the strip mall on the east side, need to cross the busy street.
The hotel breakfast buffet is very good with lots of choices but it's pricey. We only ate once there and once in the Bar Blue. The service of the breakfast is good but the Bar Blue was strange. We sat down for over 10 min and no one even looked at us and it was not even busy.
There are some good restaurants in the strip mall on the east and in the building on the west.
We walked on Cinta Costera during the afternoon all the way to Mercado de Mariscos near the old town. It's doable but very hot and sunny.
We took Uber to the Multi Plaza Mall and only cost $2.47, very convenient and cheap.

This was a nice hotel and I loved how close we were to the seawall. We were a 6USD Uber from the old town (casco viejo). Glad we stayed here but spent lots of time in the old part. The pool vibe was really weird. Almost felt a bit nefarious at times…

Rooms and amenities were great and the gym was awesome.

Everyday we had to ask for the right amount of towels to be put in our room or for shampoo to be filled or coffee to be replaced so it was a bit annoying (like of 3 nights we had to ask everyday).

Would recommend though. Pay for an ocean view. It was stunning

Unfortunately, one day they forgot to do my room, and that sent off a chain of unpleasantness. They kept on promising and promising, and it took six hours and six reminders for them to do it. Also check-in a little chaotic with the cruise-goers.

There is nothing good to say about this hotel.
I have stayed in hotels all over the world, but this one definitely ranks at the bottom.
The rooms are too noisy. The elevators sound like freight train passing by.
the AC is very loud. The amenities do not exist Other than one soap. Service is very very slow. Bathroom is unsafe as glass shelves are missing screws. My advice you are much better off staying at a different hotel that costs half the price and offers much better services and more for your dollars
This hotel is very expensive , compared to other hotels in the area

The Hilton has not failed me yet! The hotel was excellent! The location is ideal, good resturants within the hotel as well as surrounding, the pool was nice (a little cold for my liking but a great area), and the room was clean and comfortable. The bed was super comfortable and the room was just a nice place to relax when inside. The water was not super hot but got the job done. The staff was always familiar and helpful and room service was quick and efficient.

The area the hotel is in is great! Plenty of restaurants outside the hotel in walking distance (Catch Seafood or Oh-Toro Ramen & Sushi to name a couple) and a drug store right across the street for cheaper water and snacks.

I stayed here 5 days and 4 nights and definitely cannot wait to return!

Every way they could get into your pockets, they did. No room microwave, soda machines, self service laundry, or reliable tv/internet. Food for sale in room frig and on desk...$18 can peanuts, $8 bottled water, $5 can coke, ...... $7 to wash dry 1 shirt, $3.50 for 1 pair of underware....Found outside laundrymat for 2 loads $8....Constant tv/network drops...Overloaded....Ice machine outside room (1510)...But ooc....After calling roomservice a few times, told there was one on 22nd floor working by person delivering ice. Stayed there for 2 weeks (also first time in Panama City) Won't go back to that hotel...Oh...Even though i had prepaid my room (over $2400), When checking in, put a $700 hold on my credit card. Compare others (hotels) in City before booking

Like what other reviews say, Food options was excellent. Fresh ingredients and so many options.

DO NOT book any tours through the concierge as they price gauging almost all of them. Worst part most tour guides don’t speak English, do not truly explain the package either. We booked island tour through concierge and the guide barely spoke English, he didn’t even have water bottles for us for 3 hour ride! Hilton need to maintain it’s standards for all services, even for their contracting tour agencies

Very nice and relatively new Hotel. Room was large, new furniture, clean (with the exception of the carpet which needed additional vacuuming) and had a wonderful view of the bay front and city. Polite staff and reception.
