Expansive and delicious breakfast buffet with options to eat out on the open air covered patio or indoors with AC. The pool was very refreshing. The location was convenient to everything downtown and a short drive to the airport. The room was spacious, clean and had large windows for a great view.

Room was clean, only thing I found strange was the lack of wash cloths. Not use to that. As non-Spanish speaker that was at times a struggle to communicate but that would be on me where the primary language is Spanish. Did not visit the bar while there. Breakfast was good.

Excellent breakfast buffet, early check-in and late checkout available, very helpful front desk staff. The pool area was a nice place to spend an hour although the pool could use a refresh. We really enjoyed walking the neighborhood to find laundry, groceries and other services.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are nice.. I stayed there 2 years ago and the room furniture seems to be a bit worn since then, but not terrible.

Front desk staff were.not very friendly or helpful and they appeared.to have some challenges with English. You have to know a bit of spanish to communicate.

The pool is clean and maintained daily, however it is quite small.

The breakfast had a wide variety and an omlette bar. However a lot of pork products.and only one chicken or turkey dish. Also the food was mislabeled and pork was labeled as chicken which resulted in persons who don't eat pork for religious reasons, accidentally eating it. The host apologized but the guests were unsatisfied as this was a big deal for them but the hotel didnt try to make any amends.

Las habitación era limpia y confortable y el hotel se mantiene en bastante buenas condiciones a pesar de ser un hotel con bastante años de construcción.

Lo que si considero deben mejorar la iluminación de las habitaciones pues en la noche se dificulta la visibilidad por no haber suficientes lamparas disponibles.

Excellent option for a Panama City stay and very convenient to the Tecumen Airport. Excellent service, knowledgeable staff, great city views, location is excellent as it is right up the street from La Cinta Crossway for bikes or walking. Really enjoyed our time here. Would stay here again with husband and teenage son!

Great view of the city! The room was very comfortable. Staff were good. The breakfast is good. Dinner was mediocre. The waiter would walk by our dirty plates and empty glasses several times until we waived them down. The pool is large and nice, but they have cheap plastic furniture and umbrellas that are broken. So, great price for a great view and room.

I really wanted to love this property, but there were a few things that killed it for me. The beds are uncomfortably hard. To me the most important thing in a hotel is having a good night sleep, and Plaza Patilla Inn fails here. There were other less important things that were disappointments: you get ONE bottle of water on your first night, and that is it. Seems like a really dumb policy. The hotel is surprisingly large, so breakfast is a very busy affair, but they only have one person making eggs for hundreds of people. A few little things could make this hotel a true gem, sadly it seems management wants to cut corners in all the wrong places. I will not stay here again, and I cannot recommend this property.

The elevator floor indicator lights need to be fixed. Several numbers lighting aren’t visible. The gym could benefit of a restroom and some newer equipment. There also the issue of free flying birds in the breakfast outdoor area that requires attention. Other than that they are great!

It pains me to give this rating because the property is actually nice - amazing view, specially from the restaurant outside and pool, as well as great location; also very good breakfast and comfortable room. HOWEVER, the staff of this property completely ruined it! Firstly, we had an issue at check in caused by staff member Mariangel who gave us wrong information (then another staff member telling us completely opposite and not even apologizing); but then TWICE we requested early takeaway breakfast (again, Mariangel took our request and didn’t make it happen!!) and TWICE they forgot about it!!! The first time there was no takeaway breakfast prepared for us at all which was outrageous and 2nd time luckily I went to check with reception the night before who informed me no request had been made so they rectified it but in the morning they didn’t have water bottles available which was meant to be included!! I argued with them and only after some back and forth they went to get the water - ridiculous customer service, staff member Cesar literally unbothered! These situations were ridiculous because imagine asking for takeaway breakfast in advance and this not being available when you’re going on a 5am excursion with no food until lunch time?! And refusing providing a water bottle because they were lazy to pick it up from the kitchen! Literally lack of consideration for the clients!!!

We were put on a floor during a 4 night midweek stay where the carpets in the hallway were being replaced. For three days we had to step over workmen and putty buckets. There was someone changing the bathroom light fixture at 10pm when we entered our room and we had to wait 20minutes after a loong day for him to leave. We were given 2 small towels and no wash cloths. When we aksed for more towels 2 were delivered with shredded edges. The next day the maid took our hanging towels and didn't replace them. After that we got more towels and did not allow any staff into our room. They also didn't have a fitted sheet on the bed and it was short sheeted with the mattress showing near our feet.
The lobby floors and main area floors were so dirty that my rubber shoes turned black after being white as I did not wear them outside the hotel

The location was the best thing about this hotel. The breakfast had a lot of food, but we didn't eat most of what was on the menu.

There was not much around that was easily accessible. The pool was not very clean. But there was a good happy hour and the staff was nice. The restaurant had ok service. The waitress wasnot very attentive, ie. My water was not refilled and I was not checked on after my meal was delivered to see if I needed anything or how the food was. But overall for one night, the experience was adequate.

This is the hotel I always choose when I'm staying in Panama City. The rooms are very comfortable, and those with a bay view have a spectacular view.

On a clear day, you can see Panama's Old Town in the distance. Breakfast is always excellent, but this time it was extraordinary because the hotel had just finished a renovation, and now you can eat outside overlooking the bay. For me, this hotel has it all: comfortable beds, good service, and good food. What more could you ask for?
