Booked at short notice after having flights delayed for a night, the property is fairly no frills but the view if you have one of the sea facing rooms is spectacular.

Found the staff to be quietly efficient as well, which is always a plus.

A very well run family hotel with very helpful and friendly staff well within walking distance of many very good restaurants and bars. I had my flight cancelled and they helped me extend my stay.

An excellent location. Just across from the beach. Very comfortable and friendly. Air con was working well. We had a sea view twin room and were first located to a 2nd floor room but we returned to reception to ask for higher and there was no issue. 5th floor was offered. Swimming poolon the roof was lovely but the sun loungers defo need attention! Very uncomfotable. Breakfast was good, continental but also various hot dishes daily. Cleaning was 100%. The only fault i found was breakfast is served until 11am yet you must check out by 11am, I would recomend the check out is changed to Noon then the check in time changed to an hour later.

Great value hotel on the Paseo

We arrived early (around 11am) but staff member at reception was very welcoming and allowed us into a room which was already prepared. We were in the building off the main Paseo Maritimo but desire this the room was bright with a direct view to the Paseo.
The hotel is carpeted in halls and in rooms which makes for a quiet hotel. However the carpet was very faded (by sun?) and gave the room an ‘old’ feel. Apart from this the room was good with comfortable beds and spacious spotless bathroom. There was a small sunny balcony. Good WiFi in room (114).
All in all this hotel is good value, helpful staff and clean comfort accommodation.
We had breakfast (€7) which is served in the main building. A good continental breakfast with a few hot cooked items. Again staff were helpful friendly and efficient.
The only negative for us is that there are no double beds!

Bad smell from the drain pipes in the bathroom. Neither Nordic nor Norwegian TV channels. Lots of noise from the hallway due to poorly isolated door. 1 cm opening straight out to the hallway under the door! Next time I visit Fuengirola I will choose another hotel

Hotel ok, rooms adequate but disappointing as would have appreciated a kettle in the room to make an early cup of tea or coffee. There was a fridge, but no mini bar which is what the write up said there was. Bathroom somewhat dated, especially the shower facilities, main hotel room struggled to get hot water, had to run it for over 5 minutes at least before it came warm, annex where our friend was put seemed a bit better with this facilities. Also no air vent or extracter fan in bathroom, was far too hot, steamy etc., when having a shower. Was expensive for a 3 star, are better in the area.

The location is perfect. It is located right across the street from the beach and in the middle of everything on the main strip. A lot of restaurants nearby and a grocery store. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

This was booked for my 80th birthday, so location was brilliant for me and my husband.
On the flat with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops in the area across the road from the harbor. A good way to get about is to take the mini train around the surrounding area. If I were to go again I wouldn't go half board as we were the only ones in there

Great Staff but hotel needs updating

Very helpful front desk staff, who had to deal with some problems. On arrival in room we found glass light shade had broken onto balcony and glass was shattered just outside door, luckily spotted before we trod on it! Bath looked like it had been re-painted and was peeling, with bits blocking the drain, and NOT somewhere you would want to lie in! However everything was clean, and shower worked well (apart from when we had early start on last day, when there was no hot water!) Bed was comfortable, but room lacks soundproofing from the street and from inside hotel....take your earplugs!
We also had problem with aircon, blowing only cold air, no heat....which reception fixed by giving us a portable heater for the room.
Breakfast was very basic continental, and not really worth it unless included in your deal....there are several local places to get a much better breakfast for a lot less. Didn't try the evening dining option, as again it seemed expensive to other options nearby. Location of hotel is good close to beach and fairly easy walk to town and Biopark etc, but no official hotel parking, metered places outside only allow 3 hours during day, but side streets are free IF you can find a space. Longer term parking is a few hundred meters along the road.
Has very small rooftop pool which may be ok to cool off in during summer but unuseable in winter, good view tho
Overall....for a budget price you get what you pay for.....better than some, but could do with some basic updating.

My nephew and I enjoyed a very pleasant week here. The staff were very welcoming and courteous. The room was not huge, but comfortable and had a lovely little balciny to sit out. We had a little fridge in the room, but no tea or coffee making facilities, however, we could take tea or coffee to oyr room after breakfast. Breakfast is continental buffet style and is refreshed regularly, so doesn't become stale and offered cereals, yoghurt, bread/toast, pastries, meats, boiled eggs and cheese along juice, etc. The hotel is medium sized and right on the main promenade just 5 minutes to both the bus or train stations. There is a nice airy lounge, a small bar and outside seating on the ground floor. There is a rooftop pool - small but adequate for a quick dip and sun loungers, but it could get pretty crowded in the busy season as you can only fit approximately 10 or 12 around the pool and this area could benefit from a bit of a facelift.

Dont stay in the annexe.

We were put in the annexe, and the room was musty and smelly because of the state of the carpet, we couldn't be moved because the hotel was full, They steam cleaned the carpet, but the smell was still there. To make matters worse, there was a late night bar 2 doors down, and it was very noisy with clients singing and talking loudly into the small hours. Area is great and the beach is across the road. We will return to the resort, but wont be staying at this hotel again.

It's a nice hotel say if you wanted a holiday where you were rarely in the room. In which case it's a great hotel right on the beach with some nice place not to far away from it. The food is mediocre at best, you have to pay for anything above water despite being half board/full board the floors should be ripped up and replaced. Completely yellow of all the sand etc. The smell from the air conditioning unit was noticable, one of our bed broke halfway through our week long stay

That being said it was nice area and if you are not too bothered about the room then this would be an excellent place to stay if you are after a couple of beers on the beach in the sun

Hotel staff very friendly remembered your name and room number.

We stayed in the annexe, quite dark in the entrance hall and the hall before you got to your room. Carpet needed to be changed very stained and in the room the frame around the patio door needed to be painted.It was clean and tidy, had a fantastic sea view.

Food reasonable needed more potato based choice not just chips.

Hotel location is opposite the beach, we stayed in the annex (room 111) with partial sea view which was perfect. Room clean and functional and nice bathroom. Stayed half board, dining room is lovely and breakfast is continental with plenty of choice. Dinner was three choices every night and different over the 7 nights. Couldn't fault the food or service and excellent choice of wine. On half board you can choose lunch or dinner which was nice. Bar area and outside seating is very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it

Hotel is right on the beach, we had a lovely room at the front with a fab balcony overlooking the sea. The main hotel has been refurbished but the rear part hasn't and it is extremely poor and I would not accept a room there. We were half board and I wouldn't recommend it as the evening meal was a buffet and wasn't very good. Food wasn't labelled so we had no idea what was laid out and it all looked disgusting. Breakfast was ok but was the same every day. Staff were friendly and although they did not speak much English they were accommodating.

The hotel is dated and needs modernisation! The carpets are in appalling condition! The room was In an adjoining building and was noisy with doors slamming throughout the night! It is however in a great Central location and easy to locate! The staff were friendly and welcoming! The room was ready and clean! I would not recommend this hotel to a friend but as a short stay is acceptable!

Hotel is in a nice location, it is not a fancy space, but excellent jump off point to do sight seeing in southern Spain. Situated walking distance from the central Part of town and away from the bustle and hustle of town. Provides easy access to the beach.

the hotel is central, 10 minutes to rail and bus station. staff helpful and polite. stayed at front of hotel with balcony which was great and in October not too noisey . décor was ok except for carpets which were well beyond its usage. breakfast was ok but evening meal started at 8.30pm and would not recommend it. beach across the road and hotel is central enough for all activities. I would go back to this hotel again.

This could be a five star hotel but::

Chef/cook provided wholesome Spainish style evening meal cooked very nicely served hot. All staff were friendly and helpful and deserved to be working in a more modern or less worn out environment: bedroom and hallway carpets were more than worn out and looked water damaged bedroom furniture was older style and more than a little worn. The foyer was smart and staff welcoming , The outside facade of the hotel gave a five star look and swimming pool would have benefited from some shade by use of a pull out blind perhaps.

Owners please upgrade internal provisions and allow your hotel to shine again:

We stayed here for two weeks 3-17 September 2016. Over all we were happy with what the hotel had to offer as a three star. The staff were always polite, friendly and helpful. A word about the carpets, we realised they are damaged because the staff mop them daily with bleach water. Unusual but probably hygenic for bare feet. Our only complaint is with the guests who constantly slam doors at all hours and fail to keep their voices down at night. A notice in each room might help. The location is first class and the area is filled with every sort of restaurant. The locals are always happy to help. The town Center is large and interesting. I guarantee you will never be bored

This hotel is fantastic for its location but it is in need of some renovations. The rooms are basic but clean. We needed to change our room as the A/C wasn't cool enough in our room and when we said it to the manager he was so helpful and let us see a few rooms and choose which one we found suited us. Very helpful staff.

Great location over the road is the beach and bars and restaurants close by and some just a short walk away. Yes the hotel is dated but its clean and the location makes it, so in my eyes for what you are paying its an absolute bargin! We would definitely stay here again as its great value.
