We spent a week in an apartment, we had a two bed unit that was very spacious with a great balcony and a two minute walk to the beach with a great cafe downstairs on the promenade. The apartment was clean, comfortable and everything worked, with good broadband. The beaches are clean and well equipped with beds at a fair rate per day and plenty of restaurants, bars, and mini markets along the promenade. We have already booked to return.

Our stay was okay as it was a decent place for a few days. However, we booked a room with the kitchen as we wanted to cook and boil water for coffee and tea. We plug the kettle and everything switches off. We asked the hotel for help and we were told it's been fixed but it was never fixed. It's an okay place for rooms to stay.

Lovely beach and the sun beds were great. I have only one criticism and that was the road between apartments and the beach which was quite busy and noisy. The apartments met all expectations and the reception staff were very helpful.

The apartment was very nice. The balcony was fantastic as was the view. Close to many places to eat and drink. The only thing that wasn’t good was the quality of the beds If they would put a topper on the mattress it would be far more comfortable.

As always, the short break was wonderful. These apartments are in a brilliant place for the beach, food, drink and walks.
Everything you need is available in the apartment - washing machine ( take your own wash sheets to use) dishwasher( they provide 3 tabs) washing up liquid, cloths and cooking equipment.

The property was safe as I was a woman traveling solo. Great coffee shop below and beautiful view of the beach. The down side to the property was it was very load. I could hear people talking on either apartment next to me, street noise was awful! The beautiful patio doors needed to be closed due to excessive noise. The one bath towel left for me to use was thin and had whole in it. I bought face cloth to use and house cleaning took it. Nice in general.

Primera linea de playa, fácil de aparcar casi en la puerta (en octubre), buenos restaurantes por el paseo. La cafetería de abajo está genial para desayunar. El apartamento muy bien equipado y limpio, el personal de recepción muy amable. Las vistas desde el balcón inmejorables. La cama cómoda y nada de ruido. Muy recomendado!

As a solo traveller it was important I felt safe. this apt had great secure door locks, a safe. a concierge open 9am till 8pm, CCTV and key only access to block from 9am. There is a great well rated bakery just as you come out he block which i visited every day! set you up for your adventures. Reception spoke great English (as my Spanish is VERY basic) and were friendly &d helpful.
Train station for C1 is about 6ins easy walk. Bus stop 3 mins walk (behind block) 2 supermarkets one larger and better than the other, 2mins walk (turn right out block) and you are right on the beach so walk straight out, cross the Steet and sandy beach well maintained. The apt for me was just right, enough space, AC, kitchenette with a fridge freezer, hob, coffee filter and microwave.
Photos on the site are what it is like in real life to honest photos provided. Wyes there is a small esplanade road out from and a main rod a the back but honestly I only noticed it around 7-8pm when everyone was \"rush hour\" and did not keep me awake or disrupt sitting on balcony people watching, its a buzzing esplanade but not noisy. I got trains to Fuengirola & eventually Malaga Airport, quick cheap easy...and bus to Benalmadena, again cheap and lovely coastal route.

Lovely clean airy apartment with kitchen. Beach opposite and area keep very clean each day. Good transport links, train from Malaga to Terroblanca about half hour. Station is ten minutes away. Cake/coffee shop below apartment!. Grocery, ice creams, pubs all short walk. We were using it as a base to visit family so was ideal.

Fantastic location right on the seafront. The apartment was large and comfortable with everything needed for a very relaxing stay. Easy to check in and out, with slightly scary parking down a steep slope under the building. Easy strolling distance to great restaurants and bars. Would happily go back.

Only one set keys and of course we left keys in room one night, Christmas Eve. Not a problem as nightman came back and let us in. Wouldn’t even take a tip for his troubles, Christmas Eve and all. Great support someone there all time till 10 pm.

These apartments are truly a home away from home. The facilities in the apartment were great - dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine, microwave, hairdryer, fridge freezer, 2 ring ceramic hob. All in a comfortable one bed roomed apartment with the most gorgeous terrace and stunning views. The whole building was clean, bright and airy & well-looked after. Great location over looking the beach. Everything you need is a stones throw away and as you would expect loads of bars and restaurants! The train station was around 10 minute by foot, quicker depending on how fast you walk. The room itself was spacious, clean and the apartment had all the stuff you would expect from having this kind of place and the staff were very friendly. We were there in March so not height of the season and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay 😊

We arrived early and they let us check in which was great. The apartment was lovely and ideal for us as a family with a baby. They hired out baby packs if needed.
Only down sides about it for us is that the drains in the toilet were rather smelly and there were no plugs. And the bed was very hard. Overall for the price though it was very good.

After reading all of the great reviews, I expected more from this place. Pros: right across from the beach
Cons: Not clean, there was hair in the shower and urine spatter all around the toilet. In the night mosquitoes came out when we turned the A/C on.
We were only staying one night, so the ground floor price was good, but expect street noise. Would not recommend.

Very good location. Quiet part of Fuengirola but plenty of bars restaurants and shops close by. Highly recommend La Isla restaurant 5 mins walk. Excellent food at reasonable prices. Pedro and Valentina very attentive. Bus stops and train station just a few mins walk. We had 1 bed apartment for 2 people. Clean and airy with balcony overlooking beach. Equipped kitchenette with dishwasher and washing machine and large fridge. Free WiFi and safe in room. Cleaning done once and towels twice during the week. Only English TV channel was CNBC news. Staff very helpful and courteous.

Great Location opposite the beach
Really comfortable apartment in an ideal location opposite the beach and next to an excellent bakery/coffee shop. Easy to find from train station. Great sea view the only detraction was workmen were repairing part of the excellent promenade so we had noise on 3 of the days but once on the beach who cares. Very relaxing break would stay here again

Very accommodating staff, I had emailed the hotel in advance to ask if bags could be left somewhere until check in time and had an immediate response assuring me that this would be no problem. In fact we were checked in on arrival as our room was ready. Other than that, we never required any additional assistance from the staff because everything was as expected without any problems whatsoever.
I can't fault the apartment or anything in it, perhaps maybe the mattress on the sleeper couch was past its best, but then we slept in the main bedroom which was fine so again, no problems. We only used the kitchen to prepare snacks so never cooked meals although there appeared to be everything you might need to do this. There is no cooker but there is a small microwave / grill combo. Otherwise there is everything else you might need including utensils etc. AC in living room and main bedroom, adequate balcony with the most stunning views and with the ocean providing an exquisite soundtrack we never used the TV so I can't comment on how good / bad the channel choices are. We were there for 7 nights and room service attended twice during our stay which suited us as it was just the wife and I using the apartment but towels provided for 5 occupants. There are so many positives to list for this apartment block, location, staff, facilities, views etc. But the jewel has got to be the bakery just downstairs providing fresh pastries, cakes, sandwiches etc and great coffee from 07h00.

My experience at this hotel was extremely bad. First we faced trouble with staff being incredibly rude and unapproachable, also whilst staying in the room we discovered there were bed bugs in the beds due to which my children were bitten and gained several bites and fell sick, however once we confronted the staff and informed them about this issue, they denied this and argued with us several times. Finally before checking out we were promised space for our luggage, as there was a misunderstanding and we had to leave the room in the morning when our flight was in the night, although once we checked out, again, the staff failed to co operate and understand our problem; refusing to help and keep our luggage, once more causing us a problem where we had to struggle the rest of the day carrying the luggage.

Great place to stay in Fuengirola
We stayed at Vega Sol Playa for 5 weeks March/April 2017. The apartment is well located on a quieter section of the beach with all amenities close by including restaurants and grocery stores. Local bus and inter-city bus stops are within 5 minutes walk while the train station is within 10 minutes. The train is a quick, inexpensive way to get from the airport to the apartment as long as you can manage your luggage. The staff at the front desk was extremely helpful and efficient. They responded quickly to all of our needs in a friendly manner. House cleaning staff changed towels and linens on a regular bases.

Lovely hotel and had the wow factor when first getting in the room as the view of the beach and sea was virtually right on our doorstep. Plenty of space and location is well within walking distances of all restaurants and bars.
We only stayed for 3 nights and our problems started when we woke up on day 2. My son had put his mobile phone on charge on the kitchen unit and we woke to find that the kettle had leaked through the night and completely ruined the mobile phone. We informed reception and although apologetic about the phone nothing else was done or said, they did however change the kettle immediately. On day 2 we also started to smell a strange odour coming from the bathroom area and we thought maybe was the wind blowing the smell from the sea or somewhere else outside but it became unbearable to walk in the bathroom and the smell also then became bad throughout the apartment room. We told reception and they said they would send someone up to investigate. We told them on two separate occasions and no one ever came throughout our stay. We could hear all flushing of toilets and the drains running near us so the location of our apartment must have been next to the main drain flow. (This could have been the root cause of the odour)
We also had a room that was physically next to the main run of stairs and was awoken on many occasions from people either coming home late and making a noise as they walked up and down the stairs or children running up and down them.

If you love to sit and watch the waves look no further. Balcony looks straight over small road to beach and see. Promenade outside always busy with walkers roller skaters etc. patisserie next door excellent, train station 10mins walk, do not book shuttle service via Expedia, it was a nightmare, had to wait over 1 hour outside airport at midnight-disgraceful, return journey had to pick up. 10mins from hotel and it arrived 25mins early, so had to wait ages for other travellers, expedias response rubbish. Plenty of eating places nearby, all adequate for chick, steak chips and lots of fish restaurants. Only slight niggle, apartment has microwave, grill, dishwasher and washing machine but no oven.

What was going to be a 2 day stay turned into a week... Sol Vega apartments was a great place to be based at in Fuengirola area. Beautiful sea view from the terrace - captivating ! Apartment felt spacious & well equipped. Only negatives:I had to change rooms 3 times (not a big deal) but each time I went into a new apartment I noticed that the kitchen counters hadn't even been wiped and the floors weren't really swept... so the surface cleanliness was a little lacking in general. Also - as mentioned by another reviewer - the walls are paper thin, so you are essentially at the mercy of your neighbours (I unfortunately had \"Snorey Smurf\" next door... it was like a lawn mower 1/2 the night). The bed was pretty comfortable (and I'm picky)

I was rather disappointed with a few things, firstly I felt the description of the apartment did not meet the requirements. Although they were lovely I had to complain on a number of issues and felt I got fobbed off.

Enjoyed our stay here. Take care when selecting your room. If you want to face the beach, you need to clarify this. Our room was to the side of the building and we only had a glimpse of the beach. The room was priced accordingly. Still very pleased with the accommodation.
