Overall, the staff was superb (Restaurant and Housekeeping personnel). Only complaint we have arises from the lack of proper communication with the Front Desk/Reception and the inability to accommodate current guests for specific events.

Perfect Stay in Fuengirola, wonderful views!

Superb view, amazing suite, could not ask for more. My husband and I recently stayed in a Deluxe Junior Suite (we were upgraded from a normal Junior Suite) and it was just perfect. Such a beautiful, spacious and wonderfully decorated room with amazing views from glass fronted windows and side balcony overlooking the sea. Could not fault it. Breakfast was also perfect. Love, love, loved it. Thankyou Yaramar!

This Hotel used to be a 4 star, it’s claiming it still is, but standards have dropped dramatically. Food is poor, surroundings and furniture need upgrading. The internet or TV didn’t work on my floor. I won’t visit this hotel again and I have ben many times.

Have stayed at this hotel for years however cost saving is obvious. Large choice of food in their buffets however very bland. Cheaper options obvious. Poor lift service, leaving customers forced to use stairs. One person stuck for 1.5 hours on the 15th floor. My bed had 3 legs !!! Not sure I would recommend as disappointed with our most recent trip and obvious complaints from other customers.

Wonderfully located right opposite the Fuengrirola beach !
Hotel and room was fab with partial sea view
Support staff was great - although even though after repeated requests they did not provide some additional bowls and cups as requested. Ultimately we had to walk down to the hotel restaurant to get them everyday.

Gym is not great - if you are intending to use.

Swimming pool size is just about ok but has a small decent sized jacuzzi.

Very well located with loads and loads of bars and food options.

Bear in mind - this is far away from Malaga city. So if you are seeking to see Malaga city then this may not be the choice as it's about 45 min to 1 hour by drive away from Malaga.

Close to Benalmadena and Torrelimos by car. I did not use public transport at all.

Maybe you can check if train to Malaga is quicker - this may still be an option to stay ! .

If you are after a beach holiday - then it's superb ! Many beach activities are also near by.

Will always come back if Fuengirola is my destination !

Nice Locallity, Los Bolliches a lovely area.

Stayed just three nights at the Yaramar as part of a longer holiday.
Picked it mainly for the large pool and seafront location.
First impressions on the location were a bit mixed as it was quite a walk from the centre of Fuengirolla, but we actually found the local area of Los Bolliches to be really nice. Would definitely stay here again if returning to Fuengirolla.

I upgraded my room to full sea view by paying extra 20€ per night.
Reception informed us our reserved room is twin bed. Since we we 2 adult and 1 3 years child, room was not suitable for us and it was the main reason to upgrade the room meanwhile we requested the king-bed from the beginning and full payment done for 3 years child as a adult which was surprised for me.

Lovely hotel, very quiet in the night. Great view of los boliches beach. Staff very helpful. Only critisism was that the stairs in the hotel didn’t have markers on all bottom stairs. My mum is getting on a bit and missed the last step on one of the flights. Only has a marker at the bottom. Otherwise excellent stay. Thankyoy

Great location right on the beach and close to downtown. Beautiful pool on 2nd level with bar service.
Rooms could be larger and a bit dated.
The hotel seems to attract alot of seniors. I believe they have a meal package with rooms.

This is our 2nd stay in the Yaramar Hotel in November, having previously stayed in the sister hotel, The Angela. We prefer the Yaramar for its views, pool area, snack bar and Yarabar bar, also the Vinea restaurant is very good and reachable from inside the hotel, so very good if the weather is bad as no need to even step outside. The rooms are comfortable and great views from the balcony.
Breakfast choice was fairly decent, especially the egg station, but can always be improved with the layout of toasters and coffee machine being too cramped an area.
Last year we thoroughly enjoyed the ‘Happy Hour’ every evening from 6-8pm, as a lot of guests socialised early on and then returned back to the bars later, after dinner. This year they’ve changed the happy hour time to 8-10pm, which has spoilt the amount of guests socialising, so doesn’t seem as friendly as last year. I hope these times are changed to a bit earlier as it doesn’t encourage guests to come out and mix more. We may consider returning again as it’s a good location.

Overall, the property was very good. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was great. The front desk was friendly and the check in was simple. Cons: The service from the beach bar was terrible. They promote a free sangria if you download the app to your phone. We attempted to redeem this reward and the bartender literally snatched the drink from our hand when she found out we were using the coupon and came back with a small plastic take away cup of sangria. What? lol. There is no complimentary cocktail ice. They want $2.50 for ice. The refrigerator in the room is locked even though they advertise a fridge. We did ask the front desk to unlock it and they did. We had an ocean front room with a terrace. The bottom half of the plexiglass is shaded so it obstructs the view. That was unfortunate. The hotel has entertainment in the evenings. Expect to hear that until about 11pm.

Great stay. Food choice and quality excellent. Service is excellent, and the staff are brilliant. The entertainment is so good, varied and a big part of us choosing the Yarimar. The main public areas are in good condition and clean & tidy. The bedrooms are dated, clean & tidy but do lack in some cleaning detail. We had a couple of issues with housekeeping..nothing major though to be fair.
Inside of the lifts need cleaning.
Overall a good stay and we would stay again..

I liked the friendly atmosphere at the hotel, the list of activities that are available, the feeling of being at an all-inclusive resort. I plan on returning.
The only minor problem was the noise from the entertainment downstairs, but I was glad to see that it stopped at 11 PM. Next time, I would request a room that is quieter.

I will never stay here ever again, or ever recommend this place to anyone. My first encounter with the staff was awful, there was confusion about my reservation and the staff members were talking about me in Spanish assuming I did not understand what they were saying. Then I had an outdated room, where the shower temperature went from freezing cold to scalding hot. I called three times about this issue, to which the third time they stated they don’t have any records of issues with the water. The beds were horrible, I woke up with back and neck pain every single day. We unexpectedly needed to have our son stay with us and they charged us an extra 95 euro a night for a cot! The facility was run down, elevators were always busy. The only saving grace of this hotel was that you cross the street and are at the beach. Literally the worst place I have stayed at ever, and it’s suppose to be a 4 star. Absolutely horrendous

A wonderful hotel to stay in. Lovely spacious, well equipped rooms with balconies with a sea view. We stayed half board and the breakfast was fabulous- all fresh and loads of choice. Lots of activities going on. Lovely pool but be ready to get there early as not enough beds for all the rooms in the hotel but if not you can hire a sunbed on the beach half price. Highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to go back again.

What I like the most was the location, our room was right at sea front and the views were spectacular. At nights there were a variety of musical shows, André one of the singers and his was lovely.

To our surprise tought there was no parking available at the hotel, so we had to find one out side.

We were one of the first people in the hotel when they opened again on the 23rd July after Covid-19. All the safety regulations were strictly adhered to and I felt very safe. There were not many guests so pool area was very quiet. It’s a great hotel in a good location.

Nice hotel in good location. We loved walking on the malacon every day. There were also a lot of restaurant choices very close by. We enjoyed all the different \"happy hours\" offered by the hotel throughout the day. The staff was very friendly and happy. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is decent enough. Food good and it’s opposite the beach. Didn’t get to use the pool as it was too cold in January to go in it while I was there. One warning though - adults only but the average age of the holiday maker was about 75. The entertainment is also geared to this age at least while I was there. Didn’t bother me too much as I only used hotel as a base, and if you are an older person it might be a positive. Perhaps most of the hotels in this area are full of retired people anyway given its way off season.

Very clean Hotel in good location. Clean sandy beach across the road with small charge for sunbeds and parasols. Spacious sound proofed rooms with balcony and sea views.
Excellent choice of food. Chef Merelas was eager to please above and beyond. Complimentary glass of Cava given with last dinner meal. Waiters too efficient at plate clearing and taking drinks orders, which are requested before looking at the wine list.
Found some reception most helpful. Hotel entertainment fair. Pool area has limited space. Daily charge for use of room fridge. Hotel pool towels 10 Euros deposit. 50 cents charge for change of each towel.

Great location, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. My room looked very \"tired\" and in need of a refurbishment. I witnessed several people slip and fall over around the pool area, due to slippery tiled surface.However the bar staff were really excellent, efficient, friendly and some took the trouble to learn clients names.
