We loved the indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi, the freshly cooked food provided for breakfast and dinner, 2 bathrooms (shower cabin and tub) and late check-in (24h).
I didn't like the restrictions of using hat for the pool and gym opening late (after 10am).

Perfect stay with children aged 3, 6 and 15. Indoor pool open until 10pm. Superb shopping centre and park / go lasting directly opposite. Lidl 5mins the opposite way town and beach 10min walk away. Lovely staff and ideal for self catering.

Stayed here beginning of September so most of the daily and nightly entertainment had ended but we expected this. Location is great and there is a bus that takes you into Fuengirola town, but also there is a big supermarket next to the hotel and a Lidl down the road. Rooms were big and spacious and the hotel was always clean

Amazing. Great Quality. Perfect for families

It was amazing. Hotel was very clean and in great condition. Rooms were also very clean. Staff was very good and very friendly. Helpful and tried their best to help. Pool was good too. This hotel was mainly families and didn't have any weird or rude types which was a big bonus. Location was great. Just behind a shopping mall with Carrefour and walking distance to the city centre and beach. Although pool sode was very comfortable, we didn't spend much time at the beach. Thank you Myramar. Great holiday we had.

Very nice hotel, the pool is great, but if you don’t come before the opening hours you don’t find any seats, a bit to crowded , i think 3 pools are needed there to cover the needs.The little apartment had everything we needed for our 7 nights holiday. Very close to the big shopping centre,buses and restaurants. The receptionists are ok but should smile more, they work with the public so they are the first point to the guests. Overall everything was good.

Fantastic place to stay. Reasonable prices, right beside the huge Miramar shopping centre which has a cinema, supermarket and food court with lots of variety. Ubers to the centre of Fuengirola are very easy to book and cheap. The apartment was comfortable, clean and well maintained. Swimming pool was huge and not over crowded. Really enjoyed the stay,

The staff was amazing! The apto was clean and great location, the only downside is that we were located in the building 3 in front of the paddles pitch and it is all day long the sound of the players, from 7am to late night. And there was a weird smell I think is a water drain around it. But the location is great and the staff amazing!

Comfortable well equipped hotel. Not the most modern but clean. It’s handy for the shopping centre and although some may consider it far out, we walked a lot in the sun. The pool area was very nice and there were lots of sun loungers.
Staff were great. Checked in by Daniel. We were allowed to check in early with no fuss as they had a room available.

The best thing about this hotel is that with the window open at night it was still VERY quiet outside. Modern rooms, very clean, nice kitchenette, comfortable beds, a shower with bath and a second shower also, no bidet. The stovetop with finger-contact controls did not work to our surprise. It kept turning off and would not stay heated. We then had to purchase microwavable dishes instead - the microwave worked fine. Ample free parking, beach not too far to walk to.

Misleading and dodgy marketing

Marketing is dodgy and mislead as many facilities aren't included and the property charges for these including: the gym, spa, mini-golf and paddle courts (also isn't cheap what they charge). Basically only the indoor swimming pool was included with our booking!

Lovely apartments and the two bedrooms are very spacious with a nice view overlooking the pools. The apartments are peaceful and relaxing. Everything you need and close to hand for everything. The only downside is you have to get a bus to the main town for restaurants and the beach. Other than that I would go back and would recommend to other people

Hotel clean, apartment great size & comfortable & 2 showers. Balcony view fabulous. Atmosphere great. Reception desk excellent. (We had to return home early due to family emergency & couldn’t have been more helpful & understanding ).
Location v good- walking distance to shopping centre, waterpark, beach, town (with any amount of restaurants). If don’t want to walk there is a bus or can get taxi.(not expensive )

Everything was perfect only I when I did booking I must miss the room didn’t have a balcony to dry the swim suits. Usually we have all details about available hotel service in the room, but this time was not available. The information was little be different with every receptionist. Location is fabulous, swimming pool (outdoor and indoor) perfectly clean. I recommend the hotel, it make sure with booking room have a balcony.

Excellent stay- family friendly

Stayed for 5 days with our 3.5 y/o son. Our room was excellent (opted with a kitchen & balcony)- we got lucky our room was on the main building facing the pool.
No issues communicating with staff, they were all very helpful. Cleanliness was maintained everyday- floors were mopped & beddings were changed. They also have a separate children’s pool- which was great for our little one.

Amenities are all walking distance- Lidl & the shopping mall is literally right across the hotel.

We had a really nice holiday, staff very nice and friendly. The entire complex was kept at a very high standard , hygiene wise.
The pool absolutely lovely, only thing is , I had asked about PHand Chlorine levels, but no one could answer me. It would be a good idea if levely were shown for everyone to see. Food was average.
Overall I was happy and I would go back.

Property/fasilities was ok, but not very friendly atmosphere when approaching the hotel reception. Arrogant reception personell. Location close to a shopping mall was practical, but the hotel is located outside the city centre. 15-20 minutes walk to the city center and the beach. Expensive safe box in the room 3 EURO/day, not included in the room price. Safe box too small for my laptop. We do not recommend this hotel.

This was generally a lovely hotel, but had a few flaws. We were housed on the public road side, and seemed to be directly above the hotel's air conditioning unit, which was very noisy at night. The hotel is away from the town centre, so we'd have preferred to be nearer. The buffet isn't very inspiring. Other than that, it's a lovely place with good amenities in high season, and our apartment was spacious and clean. There's a shopping mall next door, which we had to rely on for evening food, but is great if you like shopping!

Really nice hotel apartments very large.Rooms cleaned every day and towels changed when you wanted.Staff very friendly and hotel in quiet location slightly out of town and twenty minutes walk to the beach which might not suit everyone even though I use a walking stick I was still able to manage the walk.

The rooms are dated, have old furniture that is extremely uncomfortable. The tiny shower was using a curtain that stuck to you when showering, the beds were from the 70s and felt like it. The accommodation is simply not worth the price they charge.

Get what you pay for - decent!

You get what you pay for. The beds are extremely uncomfortable and the blankets they use don't appear to be washed frequently. Only the under sheet - which is paper thin. Always a disappointment.

A grim experience

The Myramar was one of the grimmest experiences I ever had. Isolated from the town in the middle of a commercial park, it reminded me of an open prison. The apartments were very basic and the beds were tiny, hard and I didn’t get one night’s good sleep.
When I checked into the first room it had no wifi. The second room had wifi but the balcony received no sun all day. I moved to a third apartment which seemed ok but then I realised it was in a wind tunnel and for the next 7 nights I could only use the balcony once.
The most disturbing thing that happened was when the cleaners arrived to clean my room on day 7. There was no “Do not Disturb” sign so I did not answer the door to show I did not require cleaning. Soon the phone went asking if I required cleaning. I replied no because because I was working. Reception called the cleaners to let them know. What happened next was extraordinary, the cleaners, now in the next door apartment started smashing the beds in that apartment violently against the joining wall 5 or 6 times, making the pictures on the wall of my bedroom shake to 45 degree angles … it was a horrendous noise. After it was finished I went down to reception to explain what had happened. The man on reception said he would investigate. That night I did not sleep. Finally, I was given a ridiculous story about how this was all part of the cleaning process. It was not, it was a demonstration of the contempt that the staff of this place treat the guests.

The Myramar Castle Hotel is an above average hotel and at a reasonable cost. Brilliant swimming pools. Excellent for families. Shopping centre next door with supermarket, cinema, restaurants and go karts on the roof are fun. Quite a walk from Fuengirola station and central Fuengirola. Quite a walk to the beach and promenade. Worth the walk along the river to the promenade and along the sea front to go to the Nubicos Restaurant.

Family holiday with 2 children ages 5 and 7. Hotel was very good only minus really is the fact April would appear too early in the season for all the facilities. Outdoor pool was closed but we were allowed to use it at our own risk. Water was not heated so smaller indoor pool was preferred option.

I immediately felt disappointed on entering our STUDIO apartment. A hot country and there is no water kept in the room. Last thing I wanted to do after a long air journey is search for water and drinks in the shopping centre.

Room had very low quality mattresses & pillows. Sewerage smell was coming from outside. Due to hot we couldn’t keep window shut as air conditioning was not available because it is winter for them.

In order to come out of bad economic situation, Spain is putting a lot of efforts to attract tourists but my experience with this place didn't reflect those efforts.

A great hotel

This hotel has many faciliities available to guests; tennis courts, pools, gym(currently closed) and restaurant. The room we had was fine and very clean. The kitchen was small and had very few things like cups and plates but enough to just get by. We asked for a room overlooking the pool which was perfect in december but due to the lack of double glazing in doors and windows might be considered too noisy in peak season for those who prefer an early sleep. If you prefer ask for a room on the opposite side of the block away from the pool view. Staff at reception all spoke english and could not have been more helpful and professional. The hotel is located at the edge of the city but is still only 10 minutes walk to the beach and 15 minutes to the edge of the city centre.

Great Hotel!

We stayed here as we had moved house and all our furniture was in storage! Easy to find and the room was great - bigger than expected. We had a problem with the air conditioning, phoned reception and someone was with us within 10 minutes to sort it out! Would definitely stay again!

We liked swimming pool and animation staff. Room was comfortable and bed also.We booked studio apartment, but on arrival we found out it has no balcony. Was offered another one bedroom apartment instead of studio! it was really nice touch! Position of the hotel a bit far from bars and restaurants , a bit secluded, but we had a view on mountains. Good location but best to drive to the beach even though it's close. Excellent value and great indoor pool for kids on site.
Better to go for twin bedroom apartment if you sleep four as sofa beds are really just sofas and not great for comfort.

walking distance to almost everything

went 2 adults and 2 girls aged 10 and 15 excellent holiday cant wait to book again for next year. from 11 in morn till 11 at night something on every hour for everybody where the guys that ran it got there energy from i dont know. so close to shopping center. room was cleaned everyday. reception so helpful if i had any questions about aqua park or markets or i left my book on plane and the guy at reception was able to tell me where in shopping center there was an english book shop

Rart hotel, vi havde en lejlighed i enden af blok 1 med stor vestvendt altan med udsigt til bjergene.
God rengøring hver 3. dag, hvilket er fint med os.
Wifi er ikke stabilt i den ende af hotellet, flere access points vil være fint.
Køkkenudstyret trænger til en opgradering, men kan bruges til enkel madlavning til 2 personer.
Vi kommer tilbage næste år … det bliver så det 4. ophold på 4 år :-)

Vi havde et virkelig dejligt ophold på hotellet og kan kun give vores varmeste anbefalinger.

Beliggenheden er helt i top – tæt på det hele og samtidig i rolige omgivelser. Det gjorde opholdet både nemt og afslappende. Padelbanerne var et stort plus for os; de er velholdte og indbyder virkelig til en god kamp, uanset niveau.

Personalet var utroligt venlige og imødekommende hele vejen igennem. Man føler sig velkommen fra første øjeblik, og det betyder virkelig meget for helhedsoplevelsen.

Værelset var pænt og rent, og vi satte især pris på det lille køkken og køleskabet. Det giver en ekstra fleksibilitet, som gør opholdet endnu mere komfortabelt – særligt hvis man bliver et par dage.

Alt i alt et rigtig godt hotel, hvor både faciliteter og service spiller. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen!

Helt supert hotell og super barnevennlig by. God frokost og ok middagsbuffet nå utenfor sesong. Minigolf og padel på hotell var gøy, basseng inne var varmt og deilig. Litt kaldt i utebasseng nå i april, men sånn er det bare. Eneste minus var litt sen middag for små barn, skulle gjerne startet en time tidligere.

Grei nok turistmaskin i utkanten av Fuengirola. God frokost, dårlige senger og gamle tepper som dyne… Nedtur at treningsrom og innendørs svømmebasseng kun var åpent fra 10 til 18. Upersonlig og dårlig service i resepsjonen, men hyggelig personale i frokost restauranten.

Vi fick ett rum längst ner i hörnet . Ingen sol överhuvudtaget och det blåste in på balkongen eftersom det låg i hörnet. Väldigt hårda sängar fick ont i ryggen. Vi hade någorlunda utsikt mot poolen.

The pictures are truly misleading, and when you arrive, the lobby is fully renovated to give a good impression, but the rooms are really disgusting, dirty, and all the rooms are from the 1940s. If you want to sleep with ants and insects, then this hotel is a good choice. Everything about this hotel was terrible, I don’t understand how people give good reviews; it must be their first time booking a hotel. The pool is a joke; it can only fit a maximum of 6-7 people.
