Have stayed here many times the location is great near the train station the area is lovely lots of shops restaurants and near the beach.
Would always recommend great gor families couples and if your looking fof a location thst is a good base to travel up and gown the costa del sol.

Good clean spacious apartment. Basic kitchen equipment but adequate although you need to bring your own dish sponge, dishwasher tablets and washing detergent.

We had an upper floor with mountain view which was fine but in November it did not get any sun whatsoever. This meant that it was too cold to use the balcony. A sunny room would have made a huge difference to out stay but we were told at check in that there were none available?

If you like relaxing by the pool with an ice cold drink and a snack then this is definitely not the place for you! There is a total ban on these items around the pool which is heavily policed by the lifeguard !!oh dear me!!

Stayed here in September and had the best room facing the courtyard and getting sun in the afternoon. Requested same room this time but was given one on the same floor which overlooked the street so lots of traffic noise and loud music from the gym opposite where they demolished the bar and carried debris in buckets to a skip below our balcony. All in all very noisy and disappointing.

Our apartment was wonderful, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The Receptionists were very helpful and friendly, the cleaning ladies were wonderful coming every 2 days with fresh towels and every 3 days to change the bedding. There was a great library on site and everything was within easy walking distance from our hotel. We had a small issue with the washing machine and the Maintenance man came straight away to help us (it was something we were doing wrong not the machine's fault!). We highly recommend this apartment hotel and will be back soon.

Great apartments, nice location near bars and restaurants and short walk to main part of town. Very close to the train station and bus stops too. Nice pool area, whirlpool and air hockey and pool table. 24 hr reception and aleays friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel was well positioned for easy access into town and bars. Hotel had heated large jacuzzi which was nice. From a personal perspective it would have been nice to have a room on a higher floor as we had no view. Staff were lovely and rooms cleaned regularly. We would recommend it.

Firstly we paid for a 2 bedroom apartment and on arrival at midnight we received a one bedroom apartment with no linen to set up sofa bed. We queried at reception but due to the language barrier we had to just request linen and the following morning enquired at reception to be told it was an error and we would be refunded the difference. This never happened and on contacting Expedia (many times) they confirmed it was \"up to the hotel to refund and they were not going to do it\". We would never have paid that price for a 1 bedroom apartment but are left with no resolution as neither hotel nor Expedia taking responsibility.
Secondly - Do not go to this hotel if you have kids. The residents who stay within the resort were extremely unfriendly and repeatedly told both children and adults to \"shut up\". I could understand if the kids were being noisy but they really were not. One man in particular repeatedly took pictures of our children in the pool and when challenged refused to show us the pictures saying he could \"take pictures as he pleased\". The same man would sit by the kids around the pool and follow them around outside. There was zero relaxing when at the pool due to this and eventually we gave up on pool all together. The worrying part was he was a resident and the other residents did not seem to find this strange.

This was our first time in this area and in an apartment as a family.
We stayed in the penthouse 2 bed apartment, we are a family of 2 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of space for us, we had a double room with en-suite there was a twin room and then a double sofa bed.
Each room had aircon and we found leaving it on cold when going out made it bliss when coming home.
Apartment was tidy and serviced every couple of days.
There is a supermarket around the corner ideal for stocking up on drinks and snacks.
The complex itself had a great pool and we never had any problems getting a space there and used it every day.
Downside is a very limited bar onsite by the pool and not open that late so if you like a drink best stock up from the shop.
It’s a 5 min walk from the station and the train from Malaga airport is only 30 minutes and cost us €24 return for the whole family far cheaper and quicker than a taxi.
Ask for an extra room key as you can then leave one in the pad to keep the electric on for the aircon.
From the apartment it’s only a 10min walk to the beach and the shops/restaurants which is great we went down every evening when it had cooled and found some great beach side bars for a cold drink whilst the kids played on the beach with football etc.

The only problem was the bed/beds. Booked “ 2 Large twin beds” instead of double bed. These twin beds were youth size, very narrow and short and thin mattresses. Complained and they said there is nothing to do. So our sleeping for 16 days was not great. When we left we said again that this was the only problem (big) they said they could have added a mattress 😡 same person.

Staff were very welcoming & provided a 24hour reception desk. We were allocated a ground floor apartment with no balcony 😟 I requested another room with a balcony & would have been happy to upgrade but was advised that no other apartments were available. I had e mailed prior to our stay but no response was received. The accommodation was adequate for a weeks stay

We have stayed at the Mediterraneo Real several times now and always enjoy our stay. It is in an ideal location for local train and bus services along the coast. A train for 2 people from Malaga Airport only costs 5.40 euros and is within easy walking distance from the apartments. The pool area is attractive and peaceful, if that is what you like and the apartment is well equipped, including hairdryers and an iron. The only downside we find is that if you do fancy a night in, there are no English TV channels on the telly. This is unusual, as most of the surrounding apartment blocks do seem to get them.

Well equipped modern apartment. Large fridge/freezer, hob, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine. Heating/cooling worked fine. On cable TV the only UK channel was BBC World News, but DVD player worked fine. Nice pool. Supermarket just across the road. Beach and plenty of restaurants within a 5 - 10 minute walk.

Pretty decent hotel
Self catering apartments close to the beach (less than a ten minute walk). Supermarket is a minute walk from the apartment. Shops and restaurants are a five minute walk. So location wise very good. Hotel is on a bit of a hill which can be a bit of a struggle after a long day in the heat.
The reason why I haven’t given it five stars is because:
1) I was woken up every day at 6am by construction workers. My window directly faced the workers.
2) Around 7/8 the binmen woke me up again. My room was street facing.
3) Apart from a pool and a mediocre “games room” facilities lacking (especially for younger kids)
4) Hotel réception does not accept card so had to walk to an atm (five minutes away)
5) Hotel réception is left unmanned which is annoying if you want to check out quickly and your transfer is waiting
6) If you have a no smoking rule, enforce it. Did not appreciate walking into a tiny lift that reeked of cigarette smoke
7) If you lose/misplace something the hotel staff are pretty useless

Second time stayed here, it's clean and modern. Unfortunately this year we arrived to find that building works have begun opposite the hotel. We knew it wasn't a quiet view that we would have, however being directly opposite the site did have an impact.
The hotel management on learning that we were not happy moved us immediately to another room and we spent the rest of the hotel away from most of the noise though there was heavier traffic than normal in the mornings.
We enjoyed the rest of our stay as usual, we like the location and the busyness of the area, and supermarkets etc very convenient.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Lovely hotel we had a great view of the mountains and sea. We were on the ninth floor in a one bed room was very spacious enough for three adults and a teenager. Lovely pool kept clean and had a lifeguard by the pool. Excellent hotel would defiently return again.

Second time we have stayed here and yet again nothing much to complain about. If I did complain it would be about the lack of enough pillows in the rooms and maybe the sofa bed could be a bit more comfortable.

You could do full self catering here if you were so inclined the apartments are so well kitted out.

Family Holiday In Fuengirola
Visited last week of June for a family holiday, booked 3 1 bedroom apartments. Nice apartments fully equipped with everything you will need plus a washing machine & dishwasher!. Apartments were spacious and clean and serviced every other day. The hotel is in a good position only a 10 minute stroll to the beach and a large choice of bars and restaurants. Nice pool area only went once as more of a beach person but was nice and not over crowded. Would recommend and would stay again.

We were originally in a studio apartment but upgraded to a 1 bedroom apartment, although the studio was lovely and clean it had no balcony abd as smokers we wanted outside space. The apartments were clean, modern and spacious with everything you need. The chap that booked us in was very pleasant and helpful even though it was after midnight. The pool was nice and a good size with plenty of loungers. The hotel is a 5 min walk to los boliches train station and less than 10 mins to the beach. All the staff at the hotel were helpful and always happy to help. Although i have to give veronica who runs the cafe at the hotel a special mention. We had breakfast every morning there and veronica was lovely always chatty and a smile. Breakfast was lovely well cooked and very reasonably priced we also had dinner again the food was tasty well cooked and a great price. All in all a good hotel and i would recommend staying and i would certainly return

UPHILL ALL THE WAY!
The first thing to mention is that from Los Boliches train station you have a walk that is uphill all the way. A gentle hill until the very last part where it becomes a seriously steep climb, so this frankly is not suitable for older people or those with mobility problems. Having said that I do feel these are among the best apartments in the area with excellent kitchen facilities and comfortable beds plus a well-equipped bathroom with toiletries that cover anything you may have forgotten. TV channels are not satellite and do not cover BBC1 etc, only BBC World News and Sky news which was a bit of a negative for me. The balcony is somewhat small but those overlooking the pool get afternoon sun and there are plenty of sun beds around the pool. WiFi is adequate though I found I kept losing the signal as I went towards the balcony.

Had a very nice well appointed two bedroom apartment with a very nice kitchen. DIsappointed that on arrival there was no sachet of coffee or tea or anything for washing up in the kitchen. The kitchen itself is well equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine but the smallest coffee maker and a toaster but no kettle. The counter top hob was good but the oven was a microwave/ grill that the labels were worn out so difficult to figure out how to use.
There was a safe in the main bedroom but at a cost of €2.50 a day to use and a baby chair was also €2.50 a day.
The location is very good and just a short walk to the beach front and a great selection of restaurants and a train station.
Just across the street is a supermarket with a second at the end of the road stocking up for lunch or dinner is easy.

Nice hotel but too far from the beach and is up a hill. Facilities reasonably ok. However, coffee shop / bar was not always open and was very dull and unappealing to say the least. We requested an apartment on a high floor facing over the pool and away from the lifts. We were allocated an apartment on a high floor BUT was NOT facing over the pool and WAS next to the lifts. Not very good for customer relations.

I recently stayed here with my son and daughter. I cannot fault the staff at the hotel who were extremely helpful and professional. The hotel is a short walk to the local train station and there is a large supermarket across the road. The beach is a ten minute walk away with shops and restaurants close by. The pool is safe and family friendly with plenty of sun loungers to go around. The poolside bar/café is perfect and reasonably priced.

Holiday in the Sun
We spent a lovely 7 nights here, we stayed in a one bedroom apartment, which was comfortable. Even though we had a view overlooking the street and the gym across the road, it was very pleasant sitting on the balcony in the morning to eat breakfast. The wifi which many people mention on this site was not slow for us, but disappointing that only one device at a time can connect. The only real problem we had was with room service, which on a couple of days did not happen at all. I then had to ring reception to get clean towels. I was not bothered about having the room cleaned or the beds made, but I do like to have fresh towels each day. In fact on the Sunday I left the \"please clean the room tag\" on the door, but the cleaner walked past. I asked her for clean towels and she said no tomorrow. I had emptied the waste bin and left the bag near the door but she did not take that either. But overall the apartments are good value and very near to Los Boliches, which is a great place to visit with lots of bars and restaurants. It is only a few minutes walk to the train station, which offers a great service.

A very nice apartment with excellent parking(10 euros a day)with everything including a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, cooker and washer. You could live here for any length of time, although it would be relatively expensive. Very clean, helpful friendly staff. very close to the metro station of Los Boliches to Fuengirola(10 minutes walk)and Malaga(15 mins).Two minutes from the beach and a 15 minute walk to the harbour at Fuengirola. Shopping ok and a big supermarket only 50 yards from the entrance.

Marvellous apartments 2 bed penthouse
We had the 2 bed penthouse with two bathrooms which was very modern. The wrap around balcony will be a bonus in the summer as there were also 4 sunbeds and table and chairs NO KETTLE though but there was a coffee machine you could use. The showers were hot and cold so the temperature was very off and on. The apartment was excellent very modern the kitchen was big but lacked many utensils .Could not work the oven but we ate out. The staff are amazing. If it had been really good showers I would give a 5. But will not stop us going back, and we hope to soon. I am very picky

Excellent, spacious apartment with everything we needed including electric hob and oven, dishwasher, washing machine and large fridge freezer. The swimming pool is a nice size and there were plenty of sun loungers available. There is a large supermarket just across the road and the apartments are located five minutes walk from Los Boliches station (slightly up hill) in a very quiet residential area yet only ten minutes from the beach and a variety of restaurants and cafes. If you are travelling by car there is a car park under the apartments.

I came here for a week with a friend. The staff were always polite, helpful and ready to assist us with any of our needs.
The rooms, and entire hotel were immaculate and our room had an excellent view of the pool area, sea and the surrounding area. We were probably abit young (27 and 29) but this was for a quiet getaway so suited us just fine.
I will definitely be visiting this aparthotel again in the near future.
