Hotel located on the beach front is amazing however the hotel is very noisy
Rooms lack amenities like drink making facilities so you cannot make a coffee even the cafe downstairs doesn’t open until 5pm
Maids are nice but they do not clean very good sink was dirty for days
Breakfast is good and the price is reasonable
24 hour staff on reception which I like and feel safe at the hotel being a solo female traveler
Hotel is very tired and old but still with a stay if you don’t mind the noise

Clean room, great views over looking the beach and sea.
Disappointed that there was no kettle in the room. You could hire 1 for €5 a day, very expensive when you would expect the room to have one.

Staff is very friendly, hotel is clean and in an amazing location. Only issue we had is that the mattresses are very hard!

When you’re out walking all day and come back to your room exhausted and desperate for sleep you want a soft comfortable bed and this was not that. We spent almost every night tossing & turning trying to get comfortable.

Impossible to sleep for both nights. Far too noisy in the hallways when the wind was blowing and people allowed to make as much noise as they wanted to in the bedroom corridors. When i asked for someone to stop them, nothing happened - on both nights.

The rooms are very small and outdated. The beds are extremely uncomfortable—I couldn’t sleep at all and could feel the springs in my back. There were black stains on the toilet seat and in the shower tub, and there is no parking available.

Was apprehensive with previous reviews, however we were pleasantly surprised.
Location was excellent, beach across the road, lots of lovely restaurants, bars and shops behind the hotel.
Lovely welcoming reception, smooth check in, room on 13th floor, excellent views.
Hotel was quiet, room was spotless, daily room service, great shower.
** Only negative was the noise coming from the cleaners from early morning.
** We didn't eat in hotel so can't comment

The rooms, though small, are perfect for a short break. Clean, comfortable beds, good showers!
It was my wife’s birthday and unprompted they delivered a bottle of fizz to our room while we were out discovering the food delights of the town. A lovely touch, my wife didn’t believe that I hadn’t told them. The staff were attentive and helpful, it’s in a great position for exploring and we’d definitely stay there again.

Lets start would I say again answer yes nice hotel , but would be a short stay again bed not that comfy for me , and would I pay for dinner & breakfast answer no . breakfast i have no real complaints plenty of variety , now dinner for it lacked taste and struggled many a times with it trying diff dishes, all was so bland and how chips can be so bad says it all for me.

Room lacked basics like a bedside cabinet and a bathroom door would be good. The people in the room next to us obviously smoked as our room smelt of smoke. More variety needed for breakfast especially more fruit. Clean room and lovely shower. Staff nice.

Check-in was stated as 2pm. We arrived at the hotel about 11.30am after a 6am flight (meant getting up at 2.15am) followed by a train journey. We were wondering if we would be lucky and maybe our room would be ready. At reception I said ‘hello, we have a reservation’ before I could show my confirmation, the gentleman behind the desk said ‘you have reservation, check in is 2pm, come back 1pm and maybe’ now I wasn’t EXPECTING to check in early, but I was HOPING. We have stayed in hundreds of hotels over the last 30 years and I’ve NEVER known a hotel not check to see if a room is ready. If he had looked at the computer and said, I’m sorry but your room isn’t ready yet, I would’ve thought no more about it, but his attitude was not a welcoming one. He did offer to let us have a key to use the locked toilet in reception! Where we quickly changed out of our travelling clothes (it was 9 degrees when we left home and 29 degrees when we arrived) then he let us leave our luggage in an unlocked room! Figure that one!
On the plus side, when we did get our room, it was exactly what we booked, it was very clean and more than adequate. The daily cleaning service was spot on.
The hotel is a bit dated and basic, but for our stay it was just right. Despite the unwelcoming arrival, we returned at 2pm after a lovely lunch in a beachside restaurant, which was the start of a very pleasant stay.

We have been coming to this hotel for 40 years twice a year. It is our second home. There is nothing we dont like about it apart from one thing, the beds are very hard and uncomfortable and with our mobility problems with our joints that is not good. Everything else is just perfect.

We decided to pay a little extra with the hopes to have an ocean view. Unfortunately we got to our room and when we opened the window all we could see was a building under construction in front of us. Zero ocean view.
The worst thing for me personally was an 8-9” high step that you’ve to take to be able to access the bathroom in the room. You just don’t expect a step when you go to the bathroom. Let’s say I about killed myself twice!😅
Pillows were hard as rocks!!
The lady that helped us when we there was very friendly though.

Clean rooms, beds a little on the hard side but ok for a short break. Ideal location for access to fish alley for food and bars. Lovely beach front location. Really lovely roof terrace pool bar, clean, well looked after and good service. Some nice snacks and cocktails. Lifts can be a little busy. Helpful staff. Rented a kettle for €5 a day which was a nice addition to sitting on the balcony. Perfect short stay.

Breakfast was really good and plentiful. Perfect location to walk everywhere including the eco zoo & all the bars and fantastic restaurants plus the beach being directly opposite. Look forward to returning.

Wonderful hotel!

Welcoming, friendly staff, clean and beautiful hotel with a roof top pool and evening/night rooftop bar with entertainment on some nights. Great breakfast buffet and wonderful location. Very close to the beach, shops, restaurants and cafes. It’s also close to the bus station if you want to visit Marbella and also close to the train station to get to different parts of the coast and the airport. Highly recommended. We would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Our stay definitely got better fron when we arrived. On arrival, we were quite disappointed about the extra charges for tea and coffee facilities and the use of the safety deposit box and the hassle of getting things organised. And then a staff memeber in the rooftop bar didnt make us feel welcome on our first visit there and had a very aggressive tone . However, the reception staff and the room attendants were amazing. The rooms were cleaned really well every day and the receptionists were helpful.

The hotel is in a great location with plenty of bars and restaurants just outside. The pool is very small for a hotel of this size but you can see that from photos.
We had a sea view room and the view was excellent, worth the extra money.
The room was clean so no issues there.
Only down side to this hotel was the aircon in the room wasnt very good, in the morning the room was very warm even with the curtains closed. The walls are also quite thin as you can hear next door.

Fab location but room was basic

Fab location to the beach, restaurants and bars on the doorstops and not noisy.

Pool area was fab but there was no umbrellas with the bed which meant you couldn’t take a break from the sun unless you had a bed that was fully shaded.

Room was ok. No bedside tables so had to put things on the bed or floor. Shower and toilet area very small and only a privacy door (which didn’t close tight) so no real privacy in the bathroom. Shower also kept overflowing so was flooding the already small bathroom space.

Air conditioning didn’t really work properly and you could see through the vents it was mouldy. Fridge was very small so couldn’t put a lot in it.

Solo traveller, 1 weeks stay half board. Hotel overall okay. Room very compact. Bed okay, bathroom too small. Reception and cleaning staff v.good. breakfast v.good. dinner APPALLING. Terrible food on offer, worst I've come across in 50 years of traveling. If you stay here don't use the restaurant for dinner there are lots of great restaurants nearby.

Lovely hotel to stay in however the room was advertised with a kitchen with an extra cost. No rooms in this hotel have a kitchen. When I questioned this I was told it was a kitchen desk??. Basically a shelf with a small fridge underneath.
Both the hotel and Expedia were very apologetic.

Nice hotel but noisy at night

The hotel is nice, the staff are nice and helpful and the rooms are serviced everyday. The rooms are fairly small but have a little balcony and great views. Unfortunately the noise at night from the street is awful and goes on until the small hours. For this reason I would not stay here again. The hotel only has the climate control set to a minimum of 22 so its hot even in March and its necessary to keep the patio door open at night if you want to try and sleep. This was not a restful visit.

booked a midweek room with a sea view as the hotel said on the website it had parking, we arrived to be told that our car would not fit in the car park so there is no parking, our car is a small hatchback so not sure how small it has to be to get in?, then we checked in which took ages and went to our room and the smell of weed was unbearable so we rang down to reception and told them who told us to go down and we would get another room, so we did this and the second room which had several bits missing like complimentary water etc, stunk of cigarettes, we decided to go out and leave the balcony door open to get rid of the smell. suffice to say we will never be stopping hear again.

My only complaint was that my room was too hot.
Apparently the system for the whole hotel can only be set to either Heating, or Air conditioning for all the rooms. As it's winter in Spain (though still over 20c, and up to 30c at times), some people felt it cold - so there was no option other than to open the door onto my balcony to cool my room. The result of this was, I received a couple of mosquito bites.
Other than that, I was happy with the hotel and wouldcstay there again - when air conditioning was an option.

Unfriendly Staff, Not one smile as if you are bothering them. Ridiculous layout of floors, you have to go into a spiral stairs to get to your room, Good luck if you hav luggage. Elevator system is programmed in an away that you can wait for 5-10 min for it to come, Showers are badly done, they leak to bathroom and no privacy in shower and toilet as whoever is in the room can see you..
