I had stayed in this hotel earlier this year and enjoyed my stay, this time i booked the same premium room but the room was not the same, i stayed in A Tower, disappointing.
Also at check in if the room is not available when we arrive early then give a time that reflects when it will be available, do not keep saying 15 minutes and have me sat in reception and then one and a quarter hours later say the room is available. Just say straight away one hour it will be available, i arrived slightly early and understood that it may not be ready, but to have me sat in reception for over an hour after keep being told 15 minutes is frustrating.

Horrible Stay, we came for vacation for 5 nights, we want peace, however this property is going under big construction, a-lot of noise, we can't sleep at all. work start in the morning as early as 8am and then entire day construction noise was coming. No one picks call at the reception,at check out we tried calling at reception for bell boy but no one picked calls. never coming back again.

I was made to wait at the check-in as there was a group about to leave. As I sat and waited for over 10 mins (approx), I had to ask to be seen, so that I could check-in. I had booked myself into a double bed (Twin) room. The receptionist asked me if I have a guest, which I said no, she \"moved\" me to a king bed, on the smoking floor at B wing. The room I got was dark and reeked of some god-awful smell. Even the bell-boy agreed to it. Then she moved me to A wing, again on the smoking floor. When I called to be asked to move, she said \"we are fully booked\".
Where was my original room then? Why was I put in a smoking room when I clearly stated in my original booking that I prefer a non-smoking room.
The room had a murphy bed and the so-called LCD TV was a pitiable screen which had screen burn-in. The bed was uncomfortable to sleep on.
I was woken up in the morning at 4am by the neighbor hacking/coughing out what felt was a lung. It was loud, clear and bloody awful. And it went on for at least 2 hours, at 45-50 min interval. Compared to the check in, the check-out was pretty quick.
I stayed there at a friend's recommendation, wont do that again.

To my surprise, the carpet of my room seems to be very old and was stinking.
At the time of booking, it is nowhere mentioned that visitor's are not allowed in the room. I had to pay Rs. 2000/- for a visitor in my room.

Close to the airport! Easy check in. Hotel organized airport pick-up what was great! We just stayed a couple of hours since our flight arrived late, Check in after 4am. Hotel is perfectly ok for that buy wouldn't stay longer.

Located in the midst of a very busy and noisy street.
I didn't feel safe walking at night. Most Riksha drivers refused transportation to a short distance. I asked the front desk person for the McDonalds restaurant and he gave me incorrect information.

The room we were assigned (306) was not worthy of even a 3 star hotel. Stained bath and toilet, threadbare carpet, chipped furniture and stains on bed covers. Our prior stays at Kohinoor have been excellent, so this may have been an older room that was not upgraded.

Nice staff made our stay very pleasant

It was the second stay at Kohinoor within a few weeks. I enjoyed the few days there: the team at the reception (especially Lavina), the team taking care of luggage or in the restaurant (Umesh and all the other guys) were very nice and helpful. Thank you to all of you !

This property is very tired with scuffed carpet..old fashioned rooms that need updating. Its plumbing is noisey..rooms initially smelly as you walked in and in need of a good clean.
Value for money i think its expensive for what you got.
Staff generally ok but not the most friendliest.
Its only saving grace is that it is stones throw from airport and right next to metro.
I wouldnt recommend

Hotel welcomes smokers with smoker room and a designated smoker room

Very nice experience. The hotel is very close to Mumbai airport (roughly an 8 to 10 minute taxi ride away) if you're willing to wade into the chaos of trying to secure a prepaid taxi or Uber, and if you want an affordable hotel during an overnight layover or short trip, this is a convenient place. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the rooms are clean and have all the necessary amenities. The hotel is right in the middle of an unbelievably noisy area, and it's hard to even carry on a conversation in the lobby, but the room itself was surprisingly nice and quiet. Overall, an excellent value for the price and a convenient hotel very close to the airport.

Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

Our room wasnt ready when we arrived. We had to wait for over an hour before it was ready. They promised us drink vouchers for the inconvenience but then gave us nothing. Then our room the sheets were covered in hair we had to get them changed. The toilet was filthy and the shower curtain had poo on it. They did clean those up as well. It was not a pleasent stay. In fact they apologized for nothing which makes it worse.

Very bad customer service and living conditions. I had personally called and spoken with the reservations team to request a room in new 'A' wing who promised me to do so. However, to my shock I was give an old room with tatty interiors. Worse, it was a smoking room whilst I had clearly mentioned non smoking room.

First of all my experience of booking through Expedia. I booked through Expedia. However I had made a mistake in the dates . I contacted Expedia .for a change in the dates(Preponement) .But Expedia came back to me after the dates of stay SE. So much for their Customer service !!!!!! Great hotel in a handy location

Kohinoor is a great property - handy for the places we needed to visit. Breakfast was very good in terms of variety and quality. The bar is also quite a cool place to hang out for an evening drink. Staff extremely friendly and helpful all the time. The rooms are a little tired in decor, but amenities and facilities are good. Would definitely stay again on our next visit in a few months' time and would recommend to others.

Room was large, clean and the buffet breakfast had so much of a variety. Transport was just at the doorstep of the hotel.

I wouldn't say the trip was amazing, but it was somewhere better than good. Everything specially room service was nice except few things
1)I requested for pool facing room in my booking as well as on arrival,but they didn't provide saying its dirty and would take time to clean. Finally it was a no view room.
2) Rooms and bathroom are small
Still I would say that except these points the hotel is beautiful with nice interiors and appreciable room service.

Mixed review from my side. The Hotel location is good and accessible. Proximity to Chakala metro station is an advantage specially since vehicle traffic on road during business hours in Mumbai is very stressful. Breakfast is decent and wi fi also moderately good speed. Main concern is that the Room has carpeted floor, not well managed. The upholstery on sofa/ chair was faded and also bore strains which is unpleasant. All fittings appear old, small outdated LED screen TV... this property does not size up to 4 star category. I used to visit this hotel regularly 5 years back and I can say that it currently needs renovation...

Really good food - that is really the hotel's strongest card. When Mumbai metro is completely built it is great to have a station this close. Really busy road outside. Pool heated and clean but very exposed and no good locker room. Quite far from all/any tourist attractions. Understaffed and slow reception (always a queue). Hard beds.

Gave a very bed rooms. There were cockroaches in the room. Bath was very filthy. Complained they managed to change the room.But toilets were dirty and eventually was cleaned the next day.
Wi-fi was not working. Told the reception , sent two guys and was assured some fix it but till we vacated nothing was done.
The person who checked out disputed regarding transport to airport.Said will need two cars , charged for two cars but we went one car. overcharged . Was not worth paying for the 4 star hotel.
