The room was Good and everything was Ok.

I made a reservation for a Deluxe Room for up to 4 people, but I only listed 2 people on my reservation, thinking that since it was for 4, there wouldn't be any problem.

Upon arrival at the hotel, they refused to check us in because there were 3 adults and an infant. The staff was demanding more money.

I changed my reservation immediately, and Expedia helped me by adding the 2 extra people, making it even cheaper. When the staff demanded more money, they finally checked in, and no additional payment was given to them.

The point is that we need to be more considerate and not just think about money when it comes to people, especially in a country where not everyone can afford to pay $200 for a hotel room for one night.

Problems with the reservation

The first problem occurred when I arrived, the second time it happened to me, the reservation didn't appear and I called on Thursday to avoid the same problem, the bed sheet had something stuck to it, I don't know what it was, the bathroom had something broken in the shower and it was dirty. I don't think I'll come back.

Lidotel is definitely one of the best hotels in Caracas. Very convenient location, spacious rooms, great service. The restaurant has a spectacular view of Caracas and of the beautiful sunrise every morning. There is a gym and a spa connected to the hotel. Lidotel is also connected to a mal. Great place to stay in Caracas.

They didn't give me my invoice

They didn't give me my food and drink invoice reason no paper and promise to send it to my email. Never send it and I have to eat the cost. Sure I will be happy if they have the minimum of business decency and send my invoice

If you want to stay in a secure, well maintained and close to major business centers in the city this is the place to stay. I frequently visit Caracas and this hotel has always kept a safe environment for the business traveler

I have been traveling to Venezuela for more than 15 yrs. The Lido Hotel is the best hotel for the business traveler. It is safe and well maintained. Close to government and banking centers

The Lido is a great business hotel in Caracas. The quality of the staff and facilities are excellent for conducting meetings in a safe and private environment. The rooms are spacious and clean.

Location is OK. Check how clean is your room. Multiple hairs on the bed, quite disgusting. Got my room changed, that one was OK. Breakfast is OK. Internet is good. Expensive for what it is, but it's Caracas.

This is billed as a luxury hotel and the room was big, bed massive etc., but the service was flaky. The staff hammered on the door even though the \"do not disturb sign\" was out and the minibar didn't get serviced on other days when I was out. Breakfast was dull, with cold plates for hot food which was not replenished when exhausted. They make the restaurant sound like a gourmet establishment which probably deters guests who just want a square meal. It was empty and characterless.

Security was comfortingly visible with burly men with radios standing officiously in the lobby. That I appreciated very much.

To be fair the prices are a result of the foreign exchange policy but my contacts in Caracas tell me there are much better options.

It was awful, my room was always cold and my request to have heater fixed were ignored. The shower pressure was none existent it was a dribble. My friends car was damaged by valet and the hotel could care less and did nothing to correct the problem. Even tho I was paying several hundreds of dollars a night pay per view movies were not available. The hotel claims to have a spa, what a joke. It has a gym no pool no jacuzzie no in house spa services, I made an appointment for a massage, the room was dirty and there were no robes or slippers, not to mention it was one of the wrose massages I have ever had. In short a terrible place to stay.

Beware of minibar charges!

Hotel is fine but the minibar prices are outrageous. They are not labeled and I found out at the time of checkout that a bottle of water cost nearly $30!

Nice place to stay

Quite a nice place to stay and in a good neighborhood. The metro is just few steps away in the well placed lido mall behind the hotel.
The vanity set in the bathroom came in handy, especially the mini paste and brush. The front desk staff were always pleasant, even though language was an issue for me, they were always willing to quickly get someone who could assist me appropriately.

Overall i had a great stay. The rooms were very clean and spacious, the service was phenomenal, and the location was perfect. There are plenty of great restaurants and banks in the area which was also a big plus. This hotel was definetely beyond my expectations and would recommend it to anyone.

Best hotel for business travelers

My stay at Hotel Centro Lido was beyond what I expected. It is a prestige property with a great location. Lots of great restaurants and shops surround the hotel, which made it easy for certain business meetings.

The rooms are very spacious and well equipped. Luxurious and thoughtfully laid out. The staff is certainly excellent at making guests feel welcomed.

Although Caracas is known as being a difficult city, staying at the hotel makes you feel like at home.

I highly recommend Hotel Centro Lido for your next stay.

BEST LUXURY HOTEL IN CARACAS

I stayed at the Hotel for a couple of nights, it was great and very unique. The food and the service were excellent. The location is perfect, surrounded by malls and restaurants.Free internet everywhere. Perfect for a business trip.

Next time I will book again in this Hotel....

El hotel es muy bonito, pero la atención no es de 5 estrellas. No me ayudaron con las maletas al bajarme del taxi (como cualquier hotel 5 estrellas haría), el check in ni siquiera me explicaron donde era el desayuno, los ascensores, gym, cualquier cosa, solo me dieron la llave y listo.

Por ende, realmente no volvería a hospedarme. Desafortunadamente.

Pase un momento muy incómodo en mi breve hospedaje en Lidotel, pagué 1 noche porque viaje solo para el concierto de Molotov, al llegar yo SIEMPRE reviso mi habitación, closets, bañera, puertas…

Para nuestra sorpresa había una puerta interna que nos conectaba con la habitación de al lado, al abrir de mi lado había otra puerta que se encontraba abierta y la huésped salió, y cerró desde su lado, y yo lo hice del mío.

No obstante el acompañante de la Señora en lugar de resolver su queja con la administración me abordó A MI a las afueras del hotel, para regalarnos a ambos un muy mal momento.

1. Porque Lidotel si tiene este tipo de habitaciones conectadas NO LO INFORMAN?.
2. Porque Lidotel no SELLA las puertas para que el acceso no dependa de si una de las partes pasó o no el seguro.

Para mí el abordaje de esta persona hacia mí no fue correcto ni respetuoso, él llegó diciéndome “Como que tú estás abriendo puertas de su suite!?”, SÚPER MAL MOMENTO y solo por esa razón no me gustó la experiencia.
