This was a very pleasure staying 👍
I could give this hotel a 5 stars, instead of 4.

But the remodeling of the next rooms caused lot of noise and the materials obstructed the hallway that caused inconvenience.

Because of This, The hotel suggested we to change room; but we're too tired to do so.

Other than that, everything was fine.
The breakfasts was good, variety main dishes everyday to choose.

Thanks the staff & the front desk Clerks for the excellent services.

Location is very convenient, close to restaurants, grocery store & shopping malls.

The Beach is just across the street, it's a most important to us.
The room is big and has 2 windows with ocean view & city view. We Loved it!
We'll return, for sure!

Highly Recommended!

Everything at the Yasaka meets or exceeds expectation. The prices are very competitive. The rooms are clean and well appointed, each room offering an excellent view of the beach. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast offerings are varied and plentiful. We spent nine nights here and would definitely return.

The worst hotel experience

This is the worst hotel experience I have ever encountered. From the min I arrived at the hotel till I left, I found the service provided by the staff EXTREMELY HORRIBLE. There is something wrong with the staff, and the hotel management has to look into why the staff seems so unhappy and rude. I was treated as if I owed them something. As a heads-up to anyone booking, there is no airport transfer provided by the hotel even if it mentions that it does.

The massage center in the hotel was even more shocking. After paying 360k dong for the massage, I offered some tips to the masseur. She refused saying it is too small and she demanded for a minimum of 200k dong in tips. She mentioned the hotel doesn't pay her for doing massages. I refused to give her such a big tip and she told me to leave! I was treated in such an inhospitable manner. It's really disgusting, the behavior of their staff.

Then the breakfast! Where do I start? Absolutely the worst I have ever seen. Bland, not fresh and there was even rotten worm infested fruits served on dish. Again, the staff serving the food & at the egg station were cold, unfriendly and rude.

Then finally, the only thing that was nice was actually the room itself. It is a pity as the room and view is actually nice. But the people working in this place really ruins it. As I work for a magazine, I made sure, that I will share about the deplorable disgusting treatment I received from this hotel via my platform.

Good hotel with good facilities and great staff. The hotel catered to both western and Asian foods with a great barbecue drinks not so good at the barbecue though but good value for money.went on 4 island tour which was a great experience.

Old and in Poor Condition

This hotel is older and is in terrible condition. It needs some serious upgrade investment. The room is tolerable but most of the other facilities are in awful condition. Breakfast was marginal - not the best. The pool is in poor condition, the fitness equipment looked so dangerous we did not use it, and the spa has been gutted and we're not sure if they're working on it. There were many other parts of the hotel in dis-repair. The lobby is deceiving because it's in good condition, but the rest of the hotel is not. The room did have a good ocean view but there is no balcony. The service was marginal. The room was cleaned okay but we asked numerous times to get the safe fixed and they never showed up. We would not recommend this hotel for a stay. There are many other hotels on the trip that are in better condition. If you want good beach experience then stay further south on the strip because the beach is deeper and has bars and restaurants right at the beach. Also the restaurant buffet is expensive by Vietnam standards. You can get much better options elsewhere.

I've stayed in Yasaka four times over the past few years. Unfortunately as time goes by the quality has deteriorated to a two star hotel. You have lost me as a loyal customer.

NOTE TO YASAKA MANAGEMENT:
Use expenditures and profits to upgrade the hotel. What makes Europe and America the gold standard is paying attention to details. High end \"looks\" are only superficial. It is the small things that will ruin your reputation. As with any corporate strategy, it is the repeat customers that will sustain profits and future growth. These are some of the BASIC amenities that are simple to correct yet if neglected, customers will NOT return.

Wifi too weak or does not work at all. (A simple 1,000,000dong ($50USD) wifi extender or ethernet cables will rectify the problem)
Sporadic power loss in various rooms.
Stopped up drain or showers.
Eating breakfast indoor but waiting until guests are eating before turning on the air conditioning.
Air conditioning not cool enough causing room to be damp and musty. (add more freon)

Great location on the beach

Hotel is not the newest - but great location on the beach and rooms are large and clean. Breakfast buffet (western) was not great - better selection of vietnamese food. Make sure you go on snoring tour and to iResort mud bath. Louisiana Beach Club was good spot for evening meal. Shopping mall was right next door as are numerous bars and coffee shops.

Do not stay on floors 1 or 2

Do NOT stay on the 1st or 2nd floors. Rooms are terrible, some have no windows, some have shared window sills with folks next door. Heard a man throwing up, sounded like he was in our room.

Do not book on this sight resservation was completely messed up with mis interpretations.

I haved stayed at this hotel a few years ago, the room at that time was much better. The room that I got this time has no window and the bath room is smelly and there is not enough lighting in the room. The electrical receptacles are loose and does not hold the plug very well, also, only one plug is available. The breakfast buffet is very good with many varieties to choose from. The staff is nice and accommodating.

Move Along

It's hard to complain about a stay in a hotel across the street from a beach. The hotel did not even directly offend our delicate sensitivities. However, there was just something about this place that rubbed us the wrong way. The huge cockroach in that showed up at the end of our bed to wish us bon voyage at the end of our stay could be called icing on that wrong-rubbed feeling we got. Each time we left and came back to the room, it smelled as though someone had come in and done number two in our bathroom and not flushed. The breakfast food was abundant as far as quantity on the breakfast buffet, but the quality was not super. If staying in Nha Trang, I would recommend choosing another hotel. Something in the $35-45USD range near Biet Thu and Nguyen Thien Thuat, or go a little more expensive and stay at one of the nicer ones on the beach strip. The main mall with supermarket was right next door to this hotel -- the saving grace of the stay.

If you like your sleep don't stay here

To start with the room as I entered the very first time stunk of mildew. It was quite strong. My view was a wall and if I stretch my neck to the left then I might see some blue that was the beach. Underneath the window, construction material.
The bed OMG terrible! So so hard my neck and arms as I had to sleep sideways hurt every morning.
The staff was nice and they did try to accommodate and were extremely helpful when the safe didnt work, 3 different staff members had to come check it out when finally the third thought it was best to take away the one I had and replace it with another one.

Suite rooms are great but standard room is a joke

We got the suite room for the same price as the standard rooms at the Sheraton next door. The room is huge and has a great view. On the other hand my friend got three standard rooms for her family and these rooms look like a jail cell. These rooms are small and it seems like you have to a maze to get to them. Well you got what you're paying for. The hotel is out dated but clean. I gave the suite room a 4 stars but the standard rooms 1 star. The location of the hotel is great because it 's closed to everything.

The rooms were very comfortable, and I slept very well. The hotel is right on the beach, with access to many restaurants. Unfortunately, it is in a very touristy section of Nha Trang (largely visited by Russian businessmen), which felt awkward, un-Vietnamese, and largely overpriced. The hotel's own cafe/restaurant has perhaps the worst food and drinks in a 1-mile radius.

The standard room in Vietnam does tend to have no windows which was odd for a seaside location. However an upgrade to a new room was possible and well worth it.The pool area was nice but a bit basic. The hotel has a designated area of beach which was very easy to get to and is located next to a new mall.

Despite what it says on the Expedia website ***none of the rooms have an outside balcony****. Best this is that there is a private section of the beach for the hotel guest use.
This is a large, business hotel, lacks charm but it practical

Had a homeless man sleep on the stairs. Ceiling in hallway was dripping water. Old and run down. However location was across the beach and breakfast was pretty good.

A Less Than Expected

The hotel is definitely dated. The furniture in my room was dated and didn't function properly. Each day, after getting my room cleaned, my changed bed linens had dirty areas on them. Mosquitoes are very bad there because the exterior doors and hallway windows are lefted open all time. The security staff were great in assisting with luggage and arranging for a taxi. The best featureof this hotel is that it is directly across from the beach.

Priced too high for what you get

Close to a non-swimmable beach. Was made to wait 2 hours for our hotel room to become available even though we kept being told, \"10 minutes\". Non-smoking room reeked of smoke. Could feel springs through the mattress. I'm sure we were also given the wrong room as our \"senior deluxe\" room was smaller and less adequate than our friends \"deluxe\" room. Located about 2 block from an area you don't want to walk in.

I was on 6 floor and the room give a superb view to the beach.
Breakfast was good ( excellent fresh bread !!!)
I saw the city truck came,cleaning the beach in the morning and make the beach very clean, very pleasant to stay.
BTW the beach is in front of the hotel and the hotel offers free umbrella.
Hotel is 10 minutes walk to the local market where we can find excellent local fruits and food fro very good prices.

I booked a standard room with my fiancée for 6 nights, but thought the standard room was a little cramp so we upgraded to the deluxe room. Rooms were clean and service was exceptional. Only issue I had was the wifi on the 7th floor was a little sporadic and lobby was a little too warm. In general it was a good stay.

Great location, right across the road from the white sands of the beach. Views from the rooms are great if you have a ocean view. Would have been great if we were able to open the windows in the room to allow some fresh air in.

Having the shopping centre next door to the hotel was great, however there is very few shops close by. You will need to catch the bus or grab a taxi to get to the shops.

Highly recommend this hotel to others wanting a great relaxing time.

Hotel Yasaka Saigon Nhatrang- Unpleasant surprise

I extended my stay for 3 more days. On the day I checked out, I offered to pay 1/2 day for late check in but was not accepted . So I packed everything and inspected the room inside out to be sure I had not left anything behind . I went to town leaving the suitcase in my room, and come back at noon proceeding to check out without going thru my suitcase again. When I reached the next destination, unpacked my suitcase to find out that the hotel staffs or cleaning ladies had gone thru my suitcase throughout and took all valuable items from new expensive clothings to personal items. I called the hotel to complain. They promised to report to the manager and he would get back to me, but I have not heard from the hotel again. My guest is that they wait until your last minute to steal, because you are too far away to do anything. I did have my things laying around the whole stay but nothing was missing. Words of advice, check your belongings before you leave/check out the room. Also, all of my battery run items were confiscated at the airport by the authority under the \" new law\", as they said, unsafe. I am sure someone can use it.

I give this hotel 4 stars. Of course they are not 4 stars in our standard hotels in EU or US, but then we did not pay double or triple. If you prefer swimming pool over the beautiful beach across the street, you would be disappointed . That's the only area that needs more attention . Breakfast is good enough, a lot of choice but caters more to the Asian/Vietnamese guests. Hotel's staff are very friendly and helpful. Great location. I would definitely come back.

A poor hotel. My first room had a number of problems, which included it not having a safe, despite this having been specified on the booking and it was only through contacting hotels.com that I was able to transfer. My second room had a discrepancy between the minibar and minibar inventory and, despite a seperate notice in the room sayIng that any discrepancy would be charged, this took me a long time and a lot of effort to agree with the staff. The safe in the second room was broken. A couple of staff members were, at different times, extremely rude. The hotel is showing it's age generally. The positives are that it's on the beach, it has two swimming pools and most of the staff are friendly and helpful.

We have never experienced such a terrible four star hotel. For the premium that was payed, it was definitely not worth it and we do not recommend this to anyone. Not only was the condition of the room poor and unhygienic, but the service was also ridiculous; being asked to pay for pathetic things such as for the replacement of a 'do not disturb' hanger. Yasaka does not deserve four stars, and it's only positive is the location. The hotel definitely needs to review itself. It does not live up to it's name.

Hotel used to be an upscale hotel but it has gone down in quality and needs rennovation. We waited over 40 minutes to check in. Our room looks like it had water leaking from the ceiling from the stains. The restaurant on the top floor, Red Onion is NO good and pricey. Horrible food and service. Hotel has a great tour service on-site called Saigon tourist. They were very helpful. We booked our flight to Hanoi and Monkey island tour through them. Hotel location is great, right across from the beach and walking distance to a lot of shops and eatery. Overall I would rate this hotel as 3 stars NOT 3.5!

Had Christmas and New Year here, meeting up with a couple of mates. Very kitschy, big hotel, comfortable rooms and helpful service. Mainly russian guests who are not the happiest of people but overall good., nice big breakfast selection but don't bother eating here for lunch or dinner and avoid the spa, far better time and massage at the mudbaths.

+ On the beach (however, the beach gets broader and better after 20 min walk to south)
+ Massage/Spa in the same complex
- Restaurants in the inner yard: in one service was bad, in other food and cocktails were not OK (and the waitress did not understand a word in English)
- No window (however, depending a room - there were windows in some other rooms
- Trip organizer was a friendly guy but did not understand English, only a bit Russian. He told a bus trip to Mui Ne to take 3,5 hours which was overpromising.
- 25-30 minutes walk to the main restaurant street and the best night club

Great stay. Very comfortable

Great hotel. Beach right in front with beach chairs, drinks and palm umbrellas. Stayed in a suite which had 3 rooms with amazing views of the ocean. Rooms were very clean and confortable with fresh fruit daily. Breakfast had a lot of variety and was on 11th floor with beautiful views. Only downsides are, linen (beach towels and bed linen) is very old even with a couple of holes however it was clean so did not bother us. One of the bars near the entrance very nice however the one near the pool never had anything we wanted even though we were ordering from the menu. Pool hours are only 9 to 6 and we love swimming early so that was a bit disappointing. .

Deluxe and standard rooms with cockroaches

Deluxe room was equivalent to a standard room in major hotel chain. Standard room was located at lower floor and a crumby room. Some cockroaches came out from drains in bathroom.

Not the best, but not the worst.

The description provided in the listing said all 201 rooms have sea views. The rooms on the 2nd floor don't. Naturally, I was given a room for my 4 night stay on the 2nd floor.

I had to spend a half an hour discussing truth in advertising and business ethics with the mgr before
they put me in a room with a very nice sea view. I ultimately recommend this hotel with the caveat that you need to
be vigilant with your consumer rights.

Ultimately, they reluctantly took responsibility for their
\"mistake\" in the description. That is somewhat of a
positive. The included breakfast was a big plus. The hotel is very close to a nice beach with clean water and good swimming. The price is high for vn, but not high for the Nha Trang strip.

The pool is small and exercise equipment is basically non-existent. The weights are light and few; the treadmill skips and other aerobic equipment is inadequate.

Great value for money

We stayed at Yasaka Saigon Nha Trang Hotel for 5 nights and it was a very pleasant stay. What stood out most is that the hotel is very good value for money. The hotel is a little bit away (albeit only 10 minute walk) from the main tourist area of Nha Trang but this was a good thing. The onsite Spa also offered very competitive (compared to external spas) and value for money spa treatment packages. Breakfast provided was also very good.

Exellent hotel

The Yasaka Nha Trang is a great place to stay, clean rooms, nice restaurants, pool, well located, great views for (we think) all rooms. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return and stay there again.

In need of repairs Yasaka Hotel in Nha Trang

Definitely not a 4 star hotel! In disrepair requiring upgrade.. Has potential in good location. Aircond system in room was working poorly. Breakfast was good.

A shame that the breakfast was dissappointing

The room was nice and the pool area just fine. Though a shame that you need to pay to use a lounger at the beach and that the breakfast was boring and nearly half of the buffet was often empty - and for instance there was no whole wheat choice or cereal selection. So the breakfast didn't match the expectations for a four star hotel (we had a far better breakfast in a four star Cambodian hotel in the middle of nowhere and everywhere else that we stayed in Vietnam!).

Great Hotel in Great Location

This hotel is right across the road from the beach. It is good quality and excellent value. It is a fair walk to the restaurant zone but a $2 taxi fare will get you there.

It is the people that define the place - go here!

Very friendly staff all over the place. Especial mention for Thong from reception, he has been very supportive, friendly and helpfull. Having a smile from friendly people all over the place makes your day every time again and this defines most of the value of a place like this. Just go here.

Nha Trang beach

The restaurant is not good in this hotel, they don´t care about anything. In the rooms, they never clean the floor. On 3 sides of this hotel there are construction-work on new hotels going on, the noise is fantastic!

Yasaka Saigon Nha Trang hotel in Vietnam

Yasaka Saigon Nha Trang hotel is centrally located and therefore within convenient walking distance of all local attractions. Staff are friendly, courteous and helpful, hotel and rooms were clean, comfortable and respectable. Restaurants and meals were great. Pool an service at the pool was very good. Free internet at reception was a valuable extra. Overall our stay was a very enjoyable experience.

For a hotel that claims to be

For a hotel that claims to be 4 star it left less to be desired. We had cockroaches in our guest room. The hotel seemed to be unfazed when we tried to explain what cockroaches were. Lucky I took pictures. Our level (6) had all of the room doors open for fumigation so we knew something was up. The hotel is located a short taxi trip away from the centre of all of the shopping strips & restaurants. Breakfast was no where near a 4 star breakfast with lost of Asian food/soups and not much of a great “western variety”. We decided to eat next door at the sunrise hotel for breakfast which was beautiful. The hotel had a great tour company which we booked a lovely one day island cruise from as well as motorbikes. At check out we were serviced by a lady with no personality called Trinh. She was downright rude and did not thank us for our stay (I would not expect this from a 4 star hotel). I would rate this hotel 3 star with a 4 star price.
