This is a tough one for me. Great location, super helpful staff. But the condition of the room - carpet specifically was awful. There were stains and spots covering the entirety of the carpet and it made house shoes a complete necessity. Seems more like a local tourist hotel than one for foreigners. Wouldn't book again.

The hotel is set just back from the beach, but in a good location for bars, food etc.
Yhe room was spacious, quiet and comfortable.
Buffet breakfast was ok. A little limited but possibly because yge hotel was quiet.
The swimming pool was great.

Amazing beach view from the balcony

TTC Hotel in Nha Trang was a quite good place to stay. Beach view from the room balcony is amazing. Room condition is almost perfect. It is clean and comfortable. Morning buffet serves a moderate meal. A little bit lack of variety of foods.

Unlike the warm welcome in Can Tho, this TTC wasn't very friendly; perhaps because they are most accustomed to other travelers. We were given a room with no working air conditioning. They offered us a fan, not a room change, and no adjustment in rate. To top it off they wanted the fan back at 7 am for breakfast. I got up early waiting for them to pick it up -noone came. Breakfast is ok. Their private beach closes at 430, which is not great. You can stay, but no towels or beach chairs. Request for late checkout would have cost another $60 USD for a few hours, online we could book a while night for less.

Staff polite and courteous but more skewed towards catering to Russian and Chinese tours. Wouldn’t take up any tour packages with hotel tour desk not very efficient better to go out or use TripAdvisor for that info.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel was centrally located and very close to the beach. A nice surprise was that the hotel has a section on the beach with chairs and umbrellas that were free to use. Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view. One downfall was that there was construction closeby so there was some noise in the mornings. The pool and gym were nice. The breakfast was very good with a large variety of foods. The staff were helpful and polite. We would stay here again.

the hotel facilities were first rate and the staff was very friendly. The gym equipment got the job done and the pool area was relaxing. We spent many hours on the beach and found the beachside service, while slow because they had to run back to the hotel to get the drinks, was adequate. Only a few complaints. First, the cocktails left something to be desired. I get that making a Bloody Mary or a mojito is hard but neither a Malibu pineapple nor a gin martini are difficult drinks to assemble. Second, the location is about a 30 minute walk along the beach from town. It is nice to be away from the crowds but a pain if you want to eat dinner in town. Finally, there were a lot of times when the staff acted like they understood a request but in fact did not. It is okay to ask for clarification. Overall, we had a nice time but might stay a bit closer to town next time.

Staff here are very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was like sleeping on a cloud! Nice pool and good gym. Breakfast was beautiful with lots of choices. A little out of the main area but we didn't mind the walk to have the quieter part of town to stay in.

we booked this place because it was listed as having a tennis court. In reality it does not have a tennis court but uses the adjacent courts. The only times they would let us play were between 10:00 and 2:00 when it was hot out. Kind of lousy.

The carpets in our room were really worn and marked, felt like I was in a sleezy motel. The hotel location is not the best with only a few restaurants nearby, instead we had to catch a cab each evening and go into the food district.

Breakfast was fine and hotel was decent. Pool area was small and did not get much sun and the water is unheated so a bit chilly for staying in very long.

P.S. This hotel is very popular with Russians as is most of Nha Trang.

Me and my daughter stays there for week,the room was ok, the hotel in the website look close to the beach but when we get there it was located on the back street, the swimming pools was very dusty and so noise because some building work going on.

Overrated - but Nam is great

We were a bit confused as to why this hotel rated so highly. It is quite nice, but fairly underwhelming for the price. The rooms were standard hotel rooms, although the shower flooded the bathroom upon use. The highlight was the effervescent Nam, who worked at the front desk. He was friendly, helpful and quite hilarious. Thanks Nam for making the stay so fun

The hotel is lovely in most ways.. The pool area is very trendy but we didn't sit there, as Shania Twain was blaring out. The beach sunloungers were very comfortable, the beach staff attentive. You can order food from the beach but have to wait a while. Breakfast was very good. The location is round the corner from the noisy main road, where the beach is. There are shops and restaurants near the hotel but no beach bars along that strip.. You have to get a cheap cab to the main strip (Louisiane Brewhouse - highly recommended). Most disappointing was the room. We booked a superior room. Partial view of the beach/communications tower. Average room. Huge bed. Water flooded the bathroom floor when we showered. Staff, especially the tour information ladies, were excellent.

Stayed here with a friend for just under a week in a twin pool view pool. The staff here were great, always smiling and friendly ( the door men in particular!). Breakfast was fantastic- heaps of variety to please everyone. The pool was a decent size though it was sometimes hard to get a pool lounge to lie on as they are limited . Our room was lovely and clean with comfortable beds. The only thing i didnt like about the room was the window between the bathroom and sleeping area which looked through to the shower and toilet.. the blinds on the window were too small and fairly transparent- which is fine when you are a couple but a bit awkward in a twin room when you are two friends.

Location wise this hotel is close to the beach (which has a private hotel area) and within walking distance from the shopping centre and a few cafe and reteraunts. its also close to the market. It is a bit far out from the main tourist area where all the bars and things are but taxi will only cost about $3 US.

I also should note that this hotel appeared to cater mostly for Russian tourists. I only say this because as an Aussie i found the Russian tourists to be quite rude and unfriendly- which was unfortunate if you love a chat like me!

We had a fantastic stay, its a gorgeous hotel but the location is not great. Your talking 20 minute walk one way into town. We moved due to the location. Staff very friendly, upon getting charged too much from airport - managed to get money back for me. I'd recommend, but be prepared to walk.

As most of the people in Nha Trang, the hotel staff does everything they can to accommodate your needs with a smile. The breakfast is more than decent. Besides the beach land of this hotel, the facilities are well maintained. This hotel is a good place to set your camp while visiting the attractions of Nha Trang. Do not expect much from the private beach of this hotel as you could have seen much better in South East Asia or elsewhere in Nha Trang.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Michelia is great value. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean and we had a great view of the beach. The only down fall is that the hotel is a little bit out from the centre of town, however it is a sort and cheap trip by taxi into town. The benefit from being out of the centre of town is that the nearest beach is a lot quieter then in town. Over all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel to our family and friends.

As part of our tour of Vietnam and Cambodia we stayed for 3 nights of a 3 week tour here. The staff , the facilities, the services levels were all to an exacting standard. From the moment they picked us up from the import to when they dropped us back off the whole experience could not be faulted.the only fly in he ointment was the construction work on the new spa. We were on the 6 th floor and told the work would start at 08:00 and finish at 17:00. Despite the information it started a lot earlier and finished a lot later. But still, we did not let it spoil things .

Great Breakfast, possible to eat outside next to the lovely Pool, Fitness Center with air condition. Excursions very expensive-booked our boattrip in the old town for about 10 USD.
Happy hour for Cocktails&Beer 17-19h at the PoolBar (5USD for one Cocktail: buy one, get one free) - and they really have good quality cocktails!

It's a good, clean modern hotel with good facilities but some of the staff need additional training and support.
The location is not great as it's a good 20 minute walk to the centre where all the restaurants and bars are located.
In addition if you want a bed on the beach, get up early!

We stayed at Michelia during our visit to Nha Trang third week of March 2014. When we arrived, our taxi driver tried ripping us off and there was confusion with the front desk after we explained what happened, one of the front desk agents after over hearing us explain to the bell hop and another agent came up to us and tried explaining we were not ripped off but she had not even heard the whole story so we weren't very impressed with the attitude displayed there. The front lobby is beautiful and we were eager to check out our room. Our room looked tired, there were gray stains on the carpet near the entrance to the bathroom which we later realized was mould due to the poor design of their shower which causes water to flow onto the bathroom floor. The room requested was a non smoking room but it reeked like smoke and the air system in the room gave me a sinus infection I was sick with for a week after. The hotel is filled with extremely loud Russians you can clearly hear in your room and will push you out of the way at breakfast. It does not post that local calls are charged a fee and when we checked out we were charged for three local calls we did not even connect to the person but had a busy signal. The pool area and beach are nice but very overpriced for drinks and the beach area does not have a place to wash your feet. Overall I wouldn't return to this hotel,

Good 4* hotel that is 2 minutes walk to the beach and 20 minutes walk to the city centre.
I had no complaints other then the rooms are not sound-proof and for a hotel of this standard you would expect that so don't expect to have late start in the morning.
The only other issue was there is no control over the kids using the business centre and so the day I urgently required the use of a desktop all the desktops were corrupted.

We have a good stay at the Michelia. It is most definitely a step above the average backpacker hotel in Nha Trang and the breakfast spread is quite good. The major downside is that it is a bit secluded (May also be a good thing depending on your purpose) and that the walls are paper thin. As we were there during Chinese New Year and a Wedding celebration, our room was quite disturbingly loud. Others hang hat the room was nice and the beach was less crowded than in other areas of Nha Trang.

My only suggestions for the hotel would be the bathroom shower needs to be fixed as my bathroom was flooded each time I showered and the pool is ice cold and requires heating

We had a very good stay here everything was clean and tidy and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.The hotel is away from the main centre which was fine however the taxi drivers struggled to find the location of it so take their calling card with you if you venture away from the hotel.The hotel is a 2minute walk away from the beach and they have a section of it with beds and sunshades just for the hotel guests.

We found Michelia on trip advisor and it was true to its recommendation. The food was great, the staff very helpful and the rooms really clean. The pool area is lovely but there is a school next door so not the place to go for a quite afternoon. The other option is the beach were they have a great set up so you won't miss out on R&R if you need it. Easy walk to night markets.

A Pampering Experience

Hotel staff is excellent and, as a guest, one is treated royally. Staff are extremely helpful, friendly and smiling and service is exceptional. Breakfast is excellent with great variety every morning. Although hotel is a short walk to the beach, it is a long way from where the majority of restaurants and bars are, requiring a taxi if you wish to frequent the more popular spots.

Very pleasant experience indeed

A great place to stay (especially if you want to practise the Russian language). All staff extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. Following an internet access problem, which was solved very quickly, Mr Nam on the reception desk phoned to ask if everything was ok - I can't remember such a follow-up in any other hotel I have stayed in. I'm looking forward to my next stay there.

Amazing Hotel and wonderful service. 5* service and surrounds at a 4* hotel. Have a chat with \"Duc\" and the breakfast egg/ pho makers - very funny blokes. A great laugh.

Overall a good hotel. Minus for wifi (do not choose the room with wifi that you have to pay extra for, as the wifi is very slow and unstable).

Hotel is ok maybe a littlebit aside from the shops and restaurants. Most of the pool personnel were polite but they did not have towels any time you asked them. It took a long time to get them and every day they had the same problem. The hotel was crowded with Russian people.

Nice hotel

The only really big hotel we stayed at in Vietnam. Rooms generally clean, though carpet and towels a bit worn. Wifi marginal. Only active in certain corners of room. Staff very friendly and attentive, though poor English speakers compared to other hotels where we stayed. Nha Trang and Michelia tourists primarily Russian, though staff didn't speak Russian. Amazing breakfast buffet. Nice, small central pool, fitness room. 1 block from beach. Generally good experience, but also much more expensive than other hotels in Vietnam. Not sure how compares to Nha Trang rates.

Great Hotel and Great Price!!

The hotel reviews are spot on. It was a great price and the hotel is so clean and mantain.The hotel staff was friendly. I had booked the suite and they upgraded me for FREE to the suite deluxe. I booked 2 tours and they were very informative. I would stay here again!
