The hotel receptionists are all very helpful, however, housekeeping can really be improved. They need more training to keep their services consistent. There are days where amenities weren’t topped up and that when you put the card to show you want the beddings changed, they only change the bed with the card on it and not both (we stayed in a twin room). Their excuse was the card is on one bed so they changed the beddings on that bed. By the way they only give you one of those cards. Honestly, it sounded like laziness than “following the rules”. The hotel itself is a good stay - comfortable beds and good range of amenities available (toothpaste and toothbrushes, shavers, shower cap, comb, slippers, coffee/tea). But poor soundproofing - you can easily hear traffic outside, next door conversations, and even people’s karaoke from the lower floors. Can’t give more than 3 stars in general, but want to make a special out to Nelson for his outstanding service and for going above and beyond at the reception desk. He always have a great smile and seems to know everything - deals with all my queries swiftly and confirms our request before going ahead. He alone deserves 5 stars.

Upon arrival, we were disappointed that none of the hotel staff at the reception desk spoke Cantonese nor English. We resorted to voice translation on the phone, which was very inconvenient. Our reservation clearly indicated 3 adults, and housekeeping arrived with a rollaway cot bed; however, the cot was hard and squeaky. The reservation also indicated special refreshments for this room rate and nothing was provided except for a few cans of soda in the fridge. We were disappointed based on their advertisement and what was actually provided.

There are little shops in the neighborhood because it’s close to Tianmian Village. The hotel was clean and staffs were friendly. But it’s not super close to a subway station. And there is no regulations on laundry use, some people will just leave their clothes in washer or dryer without taking out on time.

It’s a nice hotel in terms of decoration and the staff at the reception/concierge were helpful. Quick and easy check out. Some do speak English but only one was more fluent. I like their movie selection (requires additional payment to third party but at least they provided it in their TV). I was not happy about their house keeping - missed a few top ups and they don’t wash cups (perhaps hotels never do). They only provide showers for twin rooms and there are build up of limescale if you look closely. Doesn’t affect showering though. Could improve in many areas, it’s average for me.

Very modern and clean. Hotel staff were very friendly. Great location with metro lines and busy shopping centres all within 10-15 mins walk. Great way to stay away from the hustle and bustle and keep your steps up.

I like that the property was actually clean and the staff were understanding and accommodating.
I like that they had professionalism and were willing to assist you when you needed it and not nosy or patronizing.
They had a good and proper gym as well. Not just a few cycling machines like other hotels.
Overall good hotel for the price. I will definitely stay there again when I go to ShenZhen.

Overall very satisfied with the stay. When checking in, I requested for a park view room and the front desk staff was very helpful in upgrading me to the executive floor. Overall the room and the property as a whole was good despite the fact that the whole floor has a heavy smoking smell.

Great place in central park area, by accident walked to Huaqianbei and was quite closer than expected. Great view my room facing the park as great to relax there when not want to be in the busy city areas.

Nice hotel in a central location

Pro: This hotel is in a central location in Shenzhen, close to subway and the main streets. There are lots of local food shops nearby. The service is good. The amenities is also good, but will need an update soon.

Con: To get into the hotel, you'll have to go through a crowed residential area, which can be a bit inconvenient. Also it can be quite noisy in the morning because of the traffic out of the residential area.

Overall: Good location with good service. Would stay again if visiting Shenzhen next time.

Great time in Shenzhen

This is a nice hotel and the people tried very hard to help as best they could (English could have been better in some places), the breakfast buffet was awesome and the servers superb. The room needs more outlets, the walls are thin so you hear the noise in the hallway. All in all, it was an excellent stay and I recommend the hotel.

I have had an awkward and unforgettable difficult experience that casts a heavy shadow on our entire stay at the hotel.
One morning at 0945, my wife and I went down to the hotel restaurant to have breakfast in the hotel schedule, which is until 10 o'clock in the morning.
At the entrance, the hotel representative welcomed us with a payment voucher and immediately went to pick up the Western-style (not much) main fried eggs as an omelette while we hold the plates with the food and before we could sit down to eat we went to her representative and said she was sorry but we could not continue To get a service that was just minutes to finish the schedule ie ten in the morning and in the background cooks began to collect the food products, we and my wife and I went out hungry and mostly hurt and ashamed.
Please note that during our 10 days stay we received service from a number of people and officials who was very good and service, but this event overshadows our entire stay !!
No doubt next time I will never get to this hotel again!

The location is good. It is close to the Convention center, the Citizen square, Huaqiangbei, Dongmen Laojie, underground city, metro station, and Mont Lotus park.
The breakfast was good. Good quality coffee. Various choices.
The jog and ride badge is a nice touch. I enjoyed very much the courtesy mountain bike. I rode around in the parks and to citizen square to exercise and exploring the city in the same time.
A concierge employee, LI Yunxing is very helpful. He knows the city and nearby attractions very well. His information guided me to see the light show at the city zen square.
I love the city Shenzhen.

Pest issue disappointing!!

The room had a crock-roach on the washroom floor for 2 days and no one care to clean it up. I confront the front desk and they didn’t offer me anything. Very disappointed at the service.

Location is probably best in sz but pest issue and service is nonexistent

The air-conditioner was turned off for the room, as the manager claimed it is getting cold. I was unable to sleep as the room was stuffy, couldn't open the door as it was noisy and hazy outside.

Probably worst place I stayed in months...I like their HQB facility better than this one.
Major reason due to that was the Air Condition in the room, all 3nights I was there it was hot in the room and after multiple requests to check, they just taught me how to set the temp at 17C which was of no help whatsoever.

Well designed but POOR service and location

1.POOR LOCATION, average waiting time for taxi (peak time) is 20~30 mins. When you asked the concierge to help, their answer is: there's no way to find a taxi during this peak time. But the hotel my friends stayed (which is 3 mins away) could easily find a taxi at the same time, how come this hotel cannot? Because of this, I was late for an hour!
2.DISHONEST STAFF, most staffs are friendly, but some staff (again, from the concierge department) asked extra \"tips\" from you. I ordered some food delivery from outside, it was ¥109, but the hotel staff asked ¥130 from me; because I wrote down the number, so we argued a little bit, then we settled: give him ¥120 first, and he’ll take back the change from the food delivery guy and then return to me, but eventually, he didn't return... This small amount of money shows how dishonest this guy is! So if you choose to stay, wrote down all your expenses!
3. UNTRAINED STAFF, I called room service department to heat up my food around 12am, but they switched my line to the concierge... Then, that guy came up and told me their restaurant is closed already, and there's no 24hour restaurant in this hotel. So we have to eat the cold food... But the day after, I saw a 24hour in-room-dining menu!!! I travelled a lot of countries around the world, but never seen such bad service before! It's quite amazing and interested for me, don't recommend for someone who wants to have a peaceful trip, but definitely recommend to someone who has curiosity!

Worst hotel ever

the minuite we arrived at the hotel the problems started we go to check in and the was a very long line of people waiting beacuse it was \"LUNCH TIME\" and there was only one person on the counter , when we finally served there was a discrepancy with the breakfast we had booked there were supposed to be 2 breakfast paid for and they told us we had only paid for 1, this process was very difficult as they could not speak english,
the next morning we arrive to the breakfast area and i would have to say it is the worst breakfast i have ever had in any hotel around the world. the facilities are really only a 3 star hotel i would never stay there again and would never anyone recommend anyone to stay there.

I booked this hotel with king bed from hotel.com for my husband business trip to Shen Zhen from US. When I was reserved the room with king bed, it was showed room available, our credit card was charged immediately. When my husband checked in, he was told they had no room available with king bed, instead of it was a twin bed. when my husband asked if you have no room available why you let us reserve it and charge from my credit card. The customer service used two twin beds to put together as king bed for my husband, the bed was uncomfortable with gap, I can’t believe this happened. What does reserved mean? We will never come back this hotel again. Also I was told, the service is very bad, and room is not clean.

Well the hotel is not the big luxury of town but is good enough. I compare it to a Westin Hotel in the US..

The location is very, very good. Less than 10 minutes to arrive everywhere. 30-40 minutes from the airport.

Not as impressive from the outside as the other Grand Skylight a couple of blocks away, but lobby is attractive, service good and friendly, room very nice, and restaurants good and modestly priced. Had a Landscape room which means faces the park across Shennan Blvd for a nice view from the very large wall-to-wall (clean) window. Room large, nicely furnished, clean, very nice bathroom with raised sink, glass-enclosed shower, and tub with top-of-tub to ceiling window to bedroom and out to park for natural light and nice view. Standalone glass-top desk also nice.
Breakfast buffet in Western Restaurant on second floor very good for modest price. Lacking any whole grain or bran cereal or bread though. \"bircher muesli\" sign behind a bowl of sweetened cheerios. When I asked, was told \"finished\". Still none the next day. Missed opportunity for good service. And no eggs of any kind on buffet Monday morning when in a hurry, not even boiled. Minor lapses for an otherwise very good buffet for price.
Dinner buffet a little more expensive but still pretty modest price for high quality and good variety, including lobster. Have had lobster at several high-end and more expensive buffets but this one was fresh and hot and the best I've had at a buffet, and didn't even have to order it - restaurant manager brought it without asking - great and friendly service there. Also excellent desserts, won't find better anywhere I don't believe.
