The service there is wonderful. I booked the hotel for my parents. They had to leave early for a flight around 4 am, the front desk helped them book a ride and pack breakfast. It's so nice

Room has NO storage space at all, there is no where to hang your clothes, I was a solo traveler and I had a problem for this so 100% this hotel is not good for couples or families!
The shower also flooded the bathroom each morning so everything was wet. I reported this matter twice but nothing happened. My stay should have been 5 night, I checked out after 3 nights

After stayed in many hotels, I feel that the highlight lies in services. Grand Skyline offers excellent services. The check-in service is efficient, and the two booked rooms are adjusted to the same floor. Thanks for the staff help. Later, I want to stay an extra night. Yongqi (Una) Chen at the front desk was very considerate and patiently assisted me. She also gave me the most favorable price and helped on all the requirements. My parents hung clothes in their room, and the cleaning lady took the initiative to bring in a cloth-drying-rack when she saw it. It was really considerate. The service is excellent here and I will choose to stay here next time

Employees are not professional but one guy his name is Andy , amazing service he provided and I don't know if there is any manager or not seems like all the staffs are not trained and kind of rude other than Andy. I would be happy if Andy take place manager job because he does great job and when I was checking out Andy was on day off and I didn't get great service , wanted to change my Australia dollar one girl she was looking computer na seven dint look was telling go out change money and she was doing nothing but attitude was not acceptable .
House keeping staffs are great and I need to say one great thing about this hotel the breakfast area clean and tidy ! After all I recommend this hotel only if staffs are good in attitude like Andi.

The room i had, had bed bugs and i had several bites on my legs. They did give me a better room and breakfast each day! New room was clean. The hotel staff spoke very little english and when leaving i asked them to tell the taxi to the futian fast rain and they told him to take me to the port area.
The location is great for the electronics area.

Although the hotel is located in a good area, the rooms etc feel very old. I have stayed here in the past and it was reasonable, but the price is too high for the comfort albeit the location. Staff dont really speak English so its tough to communicate. Id stay in another hotel the next time. Newer and fresher for the money paid.

This hotel has the worst communication, didn’t bother to reply messages sent to them. Even Expedia staff can’t get hold of them with the number & instead Expedia asked me to call them directly with the same number that no one answered.

Few recep staff can hardly speak English. Recep staff, though not rude, are all very unfriendly ... gave me only 1 keycard instead of 2 citing no more left ...

Would be good if hotel train the staff on customer service especially on the basic curteousy of replying messages sent to Hotel via Expedia and also at least answer the phone when Expedia calls ...

My third time staying here. First time was for 4 weeks. I always come back here. More expensive than most hotels in the area but worth the extra money. Really pretty hotel. Rooms are nice and clean. I definitely recommend upgrading to executive, beds are much more comfortable in executive rooms. Good service at front desk in the day time. At night they don’t have anyone English speaking so it’s a bit difficult. Breakfast is decent. Very close to electronics market , walking distance.

I book 3 rooms at this hotel, 2 room 2 nights with Expedia and one with hotel.ca . Place location is really good and upscale area. One of the room had a crock roach in its bathroom for 2 days and it was never removed. When I told the front desk about this issuer they didn’t offer me any resolution or show any sympathy. Very bad experience

Took a front desk manager to oblige an early checkin after one other staff told me the hotel was full and no room was available. Ok to mingle with local patrons but had to live with non smoking room with smell of smoke. Convenient location with many local restaurants (limited Western or European choices) and close to HuaQiang electronic area. Gyms but no sauna room yet. Wifi required constant login in ... irritating.

Very convenient! It is close to subway, and walking distance to malls, restaurants, street foods and technology-related stores. The hotel matched the description, and we enjoyed our stay. There is a no-smoking policy, but there was definitely cigarette smoke odor in the hallway on one of the nights; fortunately, it did not smell in our room. Overall, we are happy with this hotel.

The hotel just next to the Huwaqiang MTR station which is at the very center of city. Friendly staff, nice room (upgraded!) and well decorated. They provide USB cable suits multi-input in the room.

My only concern is just there are pretty many mirror ; 2 man-tall sized mirror on the outside of wardrobe next to the bed . other than that i'm pleased everything of this hotel.

Very convenient, just next to subway station. Staff is friendly, professional and helpful. Room is clean though a little old. All kind of restaurants in walking distance. Right in commercial center. Price is fair. Huge king size enough for a couple and one little kid. I would strongly recommend if you don't need a luxurious place to stay.

Solid business hotel, with convenient Futian location. We had a large executive room, which was clean / comfortable. Made the mistake of paying extra for executive lounge - unlike other hotels, breakfast is not served there - only opens from 9:00am. And now food (at all) after 7:30pm. So if you are out all day, the extra cost delivers no value.

The staff tried to be very helpful, however their English was limited.

The heat didn't seem to work well enough for me. Some nights were cold and I had the heat on high and it didn't seem to make a difference. Also, the rug in the room was stained and didn't look very clean for the duration of my stay (10 days). I also have a good sense of smell and could pick up the faint smell of smoke in the bedding even though I asked for a non-smoking room. I don't think they separate the sheets from those who smoke with those who don't smoke. Overall, the room/hotel was good. However, I expected more for the price of the room.

The room was moderately sized, but was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate at the Star Cafe restaurant inside the hotel and the food was good. The hotel is very well located. It is next to Huachiang Road metro station on Line 1 (Green). Line 1 runs east to west through Shenzhen and links up with the airport, train station and major tourist attractions. So it was very easy to get places from the hotel. As someone else noted in a review, confusingly there is a hotel of exactly the same name in Shenzhen, located near Hubei metro station. The correct hotel is on Shennan Middle Road, whilst the incorrect hotel is on Shennan East Road. So make sure you go to the right one! For some reason when I called the phone number listed in Expedia, it didn't work. However, when I spoke to the hotel they said it is correct, so perhaps it was just my Chinese phone.

Very Sharp - Great Service

Though I booked this hotel at the last minute which caused me a little hassle finding my reservation, the people were very helpful and once I showed up on their computer, everything was great. The rooms are fantastic and the place seems to be geared for doing business. There is another hotel called the Grand Skylight Garden Hotel, so be sure you get them straight when making your reservation. Though the Garden Hotel looks nice as well, just don't do like me and go to the wrong hotel. The location seems to be reasonably convenient. Close to electronic market and metro station. The service is great, however, like so many places in China, their English skills a limited. Still, it was a great place and you get fantastic quality for a reasonable price.

I had booked a non smoking room but when I showed up the room the smell was so bad i could not stay in the room.
I was moved me to another room on a different floor ...but i think they just sprayed the room before i got there.
One of the hotel staff at the front desk was very arrogant.

I stayed there for a night on a last minute business trip and was impressed when i stepped into the hotel lobby with the interior. Staffs were very friendly, polite, accommodating and helpful. The rate is very reasonable, room service was decent and last of all, the room was very spacious.

The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The deluxe room included a TV with a very user friendly system to find international channels as well as buying pay per view movies.
The breakfast buffet was ok for the convenience and price ($78).
The staff was spectacular; front desk, concierge, room service, they do everything in their power to accommodate your needs.
Overall, great experience after staying at much smaller rooms in HK and Shanghai.

We had a problem when we check out as the Front office personnel claimed that we have not paid and this is purely unprofessional !!!!!!!!!!!!!!. A decent hotel but nothing special - what makes it work is the location and the great staff. The room was fine but fairly small and watch out for items that are charged but look as if they are included. And make sure you ask for a no smoking room again at reception as nearly every room seems to have been used for smoking at some point - very smelly.

I stayed there for 10 days during a recent visit to the electronics market. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and large, I got the deluxe room. The food was good. There are western options at the Star Cafe. Overall I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is located in a central area, easily accessible by the subway. Check-in was fairly fast, but non-chinese speakers will have a hard time communicating with the staff as they speak minimal english. First-time visitors will get an upgrade from a 'superior room' to a 'deluxe room' on a higher floor, if you join their membership program. Frankly, I'm not sure the room was any better, the carpet was wet, and bathroom was mouldy and omitted a foul smell. Bed was too hard, and the in-room movies (watched two) tend to skip to the beginning of the movie, before sporadically jumping back to the end again. Breakfast was an extra RMB70 per person, and didn't have a big selection. The main gripe I have about this hotel is the number of dodgy people going in and out of the hotel, and the massage centre on the 35th floor. Went for 2 massages on different nights. The massage provided was mediocre, and the girls were dressed in very skimpy outfits. If you do not like leaving big tips,or be made to feel like you're in a hooker joint, then I suggest not visiting as they are not very gracious if you leave a RMB20 tip for a RMB70 foot massage, or choose not to have a full body massage. All in all a very uncomfortable stay, and definitely will not recommend to anyone.

The hotel personnel was very helpful. The room was excellent, very comfortable and nicely decorated. Bed was very comfortable. The restaurant was very good. It would have been nice to have shelving or a dresser for clothing. Also more hooks for hanging wet clothing in the bathroom. I very much enjoyed the stay. I did miss not having a swimming pool. It was very hot this time of year, a pool would have been nice to cool off in. I will definitely be back.

Staff was excellent and attentive.. Provided a nice and clean room with all of the amenities I would expect.. Only one issue I encountered but this was remedied... Water was not drinkable from the sink so the staff provided me with 4 bottles of water. I would stay at the hotel again as the price was very acceptable. Offered food had a lot of variety and was tasty.. I would recommend this hotel...

As if this was a funny situation after flying 24hrs to get there. One of the staff ob the executive level asked me when I was checking out if I had been drinking beer because my face was tan/red. The location is great. The overall experience was very good. However, the temperature of the room is way too cold for my liking. I tried setting the temperature higher, but it seem to make no difference, so at times I had to turn the AC off.
