Very clean and comfortable modern hotel with a really impressive beer garden with river views. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, unfortunately they are very small. I've seen bigger bathrooms in caravans so that has affected the overall svore whi h is a shame

Wonderful German vacation town.
We loved the room. We loved the view out the window. We loved Boppard. We loved how easy it was to walk around, to take a one day boat tour.
This is a German resort town. Most restaurants did not have English menues and most people did not speak English.
The local train situation was unpleasant. Getting in and out of Boppard meant local trains that were often late and very over crowded. Reservations were not possible and we had to stand on the train for an hour ride from Boppard to Mains.
The Hotel provided the minimum possible in amenities. Cleaning consisted of making the beds and emptying the trash cans. There was no refrigrrator. The maid did not remove diry plates or replace the room's bottle of water when empty. The batroom floor needed washing but even though I requested it, it wasn't washed.
Only one of their 3 hotel restaurants was open the entire time we were there. It served a nice breakfast. Reservations were required for diner which was a buffet. It wss booked up the night we arrived. We never ate dinner in this restaurant. The hotel had a pateo trestaurant which was only open 2 of the nights we wete there. The first night we were able to get a nice take out diner to eat at one of the tables in their 3rd restaurant, which was closed. We also got a take away dinner there the second night, but the food was not freshly prepared. After that this pateo restaurant was also closed.
Fortunately, there are plenty of restaurants in Boppard that were open.

Relaxing by the Rhine
The hotel is in a good position in Boppard near the railway station and adjacent to the river promenade. Well suited to explore this part of the Rhine. Nice atmosphere, room we had was arranged around the central car park of the hotel, so that departing motor bikes cause noise. Walls of the rooms are very thin so toilet and other sounds from neighbouring rooms can be disturbing at night.

Two nights in Boppard
The hotel was very well situated and the room was very good value for our money. The reception attendant was very helpful regarding finding appropriate train schedules to get to Berg Eltz castle on the weekend and would give him a five ⭐️ rating! The only negative was when we asked for ice for our room the second time when the senior bar attendant gave my wife grief about not buying our drinks from the bar which was quite incredulous as he did not know what we were even using it for. The restaurant provide quite good food and we would definitely recommend it. Overall I would recommend this hotel for comfort, location and overall satisfaction.

Rude, ignorant, aggressive snd confrontational staff. Cleaning staff that just walked into your room without knocking, in the end we had to have the do not disturb sign on the door the whole time, resulting in our room not being serviced for our entire stay. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. Extra charge for parking your car at the hotel. If you want an enjoyable, relaxing time in Boppard DO NOT stay at the Ebertor

This hotel was great, didn't look too much from outside, but the rooms are incredibly modern and well finished off, as is the interior of the hotel in general.
Lots of options for dinner and drinks, many restaurants, 2 in hotel, many local, very close to town centre. I really enjoyed it. Parking was tight on my visit, they had run out of spaces, but I had a motorbike so was OK.
But... I found the girl on reception to be a little abrupt when i arrived. I wasn't told at check in when or where breakfast was, and subsequently didn't take it.

The hotel is on the banks of the Rhine . When the weather is warm you can eat, watching the river flow past. The hotel is a bit like an American style motel with many rooms facing onto a parking courtyard. The reception staff are exceptionally helpful getting train timetables and information for any planned excursions
The only small negatives we had was the difficulty on arrival, in finding the parking in the narrow streeted town and the shower flowed out of the wet area rather than towards the drain!
Overall a very good base to explore this beautiful area of the Rhine gorge.

Basic at best.
Great location on the waterfront at Boppard. We stayed for one night in a standard double, which was part of the 'motel' extension. Whilst we could not fault the cleanliness, the room was basic at best. I would have expected to pay less for this standard of room. Upon arrival the car park was full however we were advised that a public car park was available 200m up the street. This was free over night, secure and underground. Worth bearing in mind if you are driving.

Nice location with free parking, but the rooms could use some updating. They do not look as nice as the pictures, but close. Two restaurants on site, but a bit expensive. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wifi was free, but had no reception in the room.. had to use ipad in the lobby only.

Our room was in the Motel part of the hotel, but very clean and comfortable. Nice big room, plenty of space. Son stayed in the main hotel, very big room that looked over the Rhine. Lovely resturant, meals large and tasty. Central to everything.

Arrived in a thunderstorm, and later than we'd planned, and as the Germans seem to eat early, by the time we got ourselves sorted, couldn't get any service in the hotel restaurant, so went across the road by the station restaurant for a cheap, and very good and quick meal.
On a nice summer evening, I guess it would be a fantastic setting to eat outside alongside the Rhine.

Though the hotel was excellent in every way, they overcharged breakfast by double. Argued till manager was called who sorted it out. Word of caution. On check, in confirm price of breakfast.

Kamer was ongelooflijk schoon, vriendelijk personeel die overigens nog slecht Duits spreken. Voornamelijk Aziatisch roots. Het enige wat minder was was de aanbieding van het ontbijt je moest in verschillende zalen heen en weer lopen om je ontbijt samen te stellen. Het ontbijt was wel goed verzorgd. Wat ik wat minder vond was dat je het parkeren moest betalen. Maar we komen zeker dit jaar nog een keer of zes als we op doorreis zijn.

Weniger gut war allerdings die Situation mit der Klimatisierung: Es gab keine, und da unser Aufenthalt in einer sehr warmen Zeit war, hätte man gerne das Fenster geöffnet. Das war jedoch kaum möglich, da direkt nebenan (ca. 20 Meter entfernt) der hauseigene Biergarten liegt, der bis mindestens 2 Uhr nachts für erheblichen Lärm sorgte. Zusätzlich befand sich vor dem Fenster ein Vordach mit Hotel-Lüftungsanlagen, die ununterbrochen ein Summgeräusch erzeugten. Beides zusammen machte erholsamen Schlaf leider schwierig.
Fazit: Schönes und geräumiges Zimmer mit Rheinblick, aber aufgrund von Lärm und fehlender Klimatisierung nur eingeschränkt empfehlenswert, wenn man Wert auf Ruhe und erholsamen Schlaf legt.

Dårlig start, men ellers et dejligt ophold
CheckInn var en dårlig oplevelse, men ellers var det et dejligt ophold.
Vi kunne tjekke ind kl. 15, men da vi kom kl. 15.30, var værelset stadig ikke klar, der skulle skiftes låse. Så vi måtte lige vente.
Det var en meget varm dag, så vi satte os ud på deres dejlige terresse, som går næsten hent ned til Rhinen, i håb om at kunne få lidt at drikke i mens. Men selv om der gik en tjener rundt og ordnede borde, var der ingen servering. Til sidst måtte vi forlade hotellet og finde et andet sted at få noget at drikke, da vi var begyndt at få det dårligt i varmen.
Ellers var det et dejligt hotel. God morgenmad og fint værelse. Byen er fortryllende og udsigten over Rhinen er skøn.

Det var en meget varm dag, så vi satte os ud på deres dejlige terresse, som går næsten hent ned til Rhinen, i håb om at kunne få lidt at drikke i mens. Men selv om der gik en tjener rundt og ordnede borde, var der ingen servering. Til sidst måtte vi forlade hotellet og finde et andet sted at få noget at drikke, da vi var begyndt at få det dårligt i varmen.
Ellers var det et dejligt hotel. God morgenmad og fint værelse. Byen er fortryllende og udsigten over Rhinen er skøn.

Extrem viel Güterverkehr bei der Bahn in der Nacht von Freitag auf Samstag. Dadurch Beeinträchtigungen der Nachtruhe. Aber dafür kann das Hotel nichts. Wenn die rechte Rheinseite wieder befahrbar ist hat man dann den Zugverkehr und die Frachtschiffe. Wer das als störend empfindet, darf am Rhein keinen Urlaub verbringen.

Hotel zentral an der Promenade gelegen nahe dem Bahnhof mit eigenen Biergarten und Parkplätzen (8€ pro Tag). Zimmer hat gute Verdunkelung und neben der Dusche auch eine Badewanne. Frühstück hat unangenehme Bahnhofshallen-Lautstärke.

Wir haben hier für einen Zwischenstopp eine Nacht gebucht, leider waren wir nicht im Haupthaus sondern in den Nebengebäuden untergebracht (Motel mit Blick auf den Parkplatz und sehr hellhörig). Lage des Hotels ist jedoch Top, direkt an der Rheinpromenade. Das Hotel selbst hat mehrere gastronomische Angebote, beispielsweise einen großen Biergarten mit Rheinblick. Parken kostet 8€ pro Tag/Nacht.
