Gave us the wrong room, and did not even apologized. Toilet was not working. Requested to call a taxi for us and refused. Room keys always not working. Room was very dusty and out dated. Difficult to contact a taxi due to the location. Don't be fooled by the photos online. Overall HORRIBLE PLACE !

Stort hotel med mange etager. Kom sent og rejste tidligt, så udsigten til området omkring hotellet må vente. Hotellet havde restaurant, men buffeten var slut, så aftensmaden måtte jeg indtage på en nærliggende restaurant. Enkeltværelse på 11 etage udmærket - pænt og rent. Morgenmaden rigtig god og perfekt!

Reception is welcoming and quite elaborate - much refurbishment going on downstairs. Bedroom was clean but very tired looking - carpet was old and badly stained. Had to ask for tea and coffee facilities - one said they didn't offer it, then it appeared! Staff were friendly but property was jaded.

Not worth the price

The hotel was extremely dated and so many elements of our room was falling apart. The wardrobe sliding door was unhinged, the bathtub door was about to fall, carpet completely stained, no air conditioning or climate control, and no idea how old the bed mattress and pillows are, very uncomfortable.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und hier und da müsste mal was renoviert werden. Mein Zimmer war sehr eng und trotz Doppelbett eigentlich nicht als Doppelzimmer nutzbar. Das Frühstück war super. Die Sauna konnte kostenlos genutzt werden.

The property where is located it’s very nice and quite. I don’t like the room we’re we stay in. Need to renovate or make changes like the floor, carpet was dirty. The patio has crack on the wall and mold not safe for breathing. The bathroom tub too slippery not safe at all same the floor tile in the bathroom. Overall need serious renovation .😏

Cold war era hotel on an isolated hilltop 20 minutes drive from Koblenz. Not much to do in the area except for nature walks.
Rooftop Restaurant and bar closed, the other restaurant kitchen was not manned fully and couldn't provide full menu.
The hotel is overly ready for demolition or a full refurbishment.

Value for money with cleaning standards terrible

Negative out of the way first, room was shockingly dirty hair still left in the bath, dirty stains all over and dust everywhere very unGerman like cleaning. Very disappointing they need to sort the cleaning standards out we arrived at 1 pm told the receptionist about the state of the room when we arrived back at 5 p.m. room had not been touched or cleaned. I was offered another room but by this time everybody was tired and didn't want to move building itself is a monstrosity in a very pretty area so I don't know how they ever got permission to build such a monstrosity of a building but that doesn't affect anything on to Positives its value for money, relatively big family room, quite comfortable, excellent breakfast good quality. Free parking, quiet location. If they can get the cleaning sorted they will get better feedback!

I get that Germans are not known for having A/C but the hotel should provide a fan during summer months. Had to drive to the store to buy one. Also, what kind of hotel does not have a freaking fridge. If you need anything stored, you have to bring it to the front desk. Not the best of hotels, in fact probably the most inconvenient place I have stayed in years. At the least the breakfast and parking was free.. ha ha I attached a photo of the dust built up on the electrical, fire hazard!

Once this was the flagship property of Dorint Hotels and Resorts. Sadly those times are over. At that time the hotel was famous for its beautiful SPA.

Today it is still a really nice Hotel. You might recognise that the building has seen better times, but as a local I still feel the spirit of the old times.

The rooms are nice and all have a big balcony. When you are lucky you get a room at one of the top levels. In the morning you have a stunning view (Marksburg, Rhine valley, ...)

Quiet hotel away from the city

Very helpful staff, great buffet breakfast, peaceful surroundings, free parking. Range of room standards to choose from and some need a refurb. The non-smoking policy doesn't really work as it is supposed to be 'balconies only'. Good bus service into Koblenz or a ten minute car ride. Hotel swimming pool has long since closed but there's a great open air one just down the road. Nice peaceful park and forest areas surround the hotel, great for bikers and walkers. Fantastic views from the higher floors and my choice every time especially with a good deal.

The breakfast is really tasty at this hotel. Also, the surrounding area is beautiful. We really enjoyed that all the hotel rooms had a balcony. Also, the staff were friendly. However, the hotel is quite dated and the rooms were what I imagined a hotel room would look like in the late 80s early 90s. Also, a wing of the hotel appeared to be shutdown and looked rather dilapidated. However, overall, it's a nice hotel.

We were traveling to Koblenz and we’re glad that there’s a Wyndham hotel nearby, it’s a scenic drive to the hotel.

OK hotel with great view of the valley

Hotel was clearly nice when built, but management is falling behind on maintenance. Breakfast was good, but the potatoes were clearly from the previous day (half empty tray/not entirely warm right after they opened). Asked for wake up call final three nights of my stay as my cell phone was broken, but was only called once of the three nights. View from balcony was stellar, but the walls outside were cracking and covered in spider ends, so I didn't stay out for very long. Overall an OK hotel, won't be back if I can avoid it

Not worth the Price!!

My experience here unfortunately was not very pleasant! While the hotel lobby looks very modern the rooms need updating. They are old fashioned and are in need of a much needed facelift. I might have just gotten the worst room in the hotel. However I was on the second floor with the hotel lobby roof at my window. The roof had cigarette butts all over and clothing strewn out on it. I therefore did not feel comfortable leaving the windows open with the roof level to the window which made the room with no AC incredibly hot. The bathroom drain also did not work and within a few minutes the tub was full of water which is not very pleasant while trying to take a shower. I tried talking to the hotel staff the next morning (I am fluent in German by the way) and they could not have been more unfriendly and rude. This hotel looks to be a stop for tours as there were many buses loading and unloading in the morning. For the amount of money I paid this was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in!!

The hotel might consider renaming this hotel the Wyndham Mini. The room was mini, the service was mini, staff training was mini, the hotel food was mini with respect to quality, on the plus side, the hotel location rated maxi insofar as the distance from town we wished to visit, and also with respect to the cobwebs on the balcony, speaking of which was both maxi and mini. Mini was the view you had when seated on the balcony, maxi was the deterioring roof-tops of the out-lying buildings when standing on the balcony. And for those gentle, forgivable souls who might assume that the writer may be embellishing the term 'mini' with respect to the room, there is inadequate space to walk between the foot of the bed and the wall.

Out of town hotel close to Koblenz

Hotel located on top of a hill and is an interesting 15 storey hotel which was probably the in thing in the 1960's when it was built. That said it was excellent value for money, comfortable ( if a little too warm the was no air con in our room) if a little dated. The food and drink wad reasonable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We would go back but would perhaps look to upgrade to a refurbished room if we did.

wonderful top to bottom

this is my second stay at this hotel, after my first trip, I knew exactly where I was going to stay when it came time to go back to Germany. This is a wonderful hotel, the staff is absolutely great and I am not saying that because I speak German, even on those occasions when I have a brain cramp and forget a word or two the people at the front desk are wonderful in several languages, and they are always genuinely friendly and fun to just talk to are ask about the surrounding sites on and off the guided pathways. this hotel is not located in the midst of town, which is a plus I think, and if you have time walk through the miles of trails and I think you will understand why I think the location is perfect. I always rent a car when visiting which allows me the freed of of movement to see even more. if you go on a tour bus there will still be time to explore, please don't sit in your room the entire time, get out and explore.

The rooms have issues and not clean enough

Our stay at this hotel is not a good one compare to the rest of the hotels we stay during our 10 days trip in Germany. The both rooms we were assigned to has drainage issues, the water will not go down in the shower. We have to change the rooms after our complains. And the walls are not sound prof we can hear whatever is on the other room late into the night. The location is far away from the city of Koblemz and without a car is hard to go around, unless you have a lot of time to wait for bus. Will not stay there again.

The location of the hotel is fabulous on top of a hill overlooking the confluence Rhine and Lahn. The hotel itself is in a park-like setting, which like the rest of the entire establishment has seen better days in the past. On the positive side, the hotel had a decent wellness (sauna) area, breakfast was reasonable and the Internet worked intermittently. The rest...most disappointing! The \"standard\" room I got was ridiculously outdated,small and smelled of mold the furniture was outdated and cheap, the room looked dilapidated, The mattress was a cheap foam mattress, the bed was incredibly small and \"mobile\" (on wheels). No idea how this establishment was able to receive 4 stars, 2 stars for nostalgia's sake would be ample.

Nice hotel with good breakfast. Quiet setting. Only stayed a quick night after visiting castles in the area. Confortable for the area at good price. Clean. Staff very helpful and friendly and speaks good English for those who do not know the German language. Could have used a fan in the room for the warm nights, but most Germany hotels do not have that either. I would stay again if traveling through there.

The hotel was generally OK but the room lacked space, we could hardly move in the \"Standard Room\", the Queen size bed was shorter than normal and the space between the bed and the wall was barely passable, even though we had asked for a King Bed.The prices in the restaurant were a bit high and the selection limited. We booked because we were familiar with the Wyndham Hotels from the USA but would not book or recommend this particular one.

The biggest problem we had with this hotel was, finding it. GPS use and lack of proper name of hotel and address slowed us a lot. First address put us in a very tight residential neighborhood. also, no A/C, no fan. View was great, room comfort was because the room was so small. Great location, hotel a bit tired.

The location is fantastic with super views of the Rhine. The hotel looks dated but is set in wonderful, extensive grounds. However our room faced on to old buildings which needed renovating. We looked directly down on what used to be a swimming pool but now was no longer used and completely neglected. Our room was small, but comfortable. Our outside balcony needed a facelift. Breakfast was excellent but we didn't find out that it wasn't included until we paid the bill. None the less we felt it was worth the money. We ordered a room snack which arrived well presented and was good. There was a problem with something we didn't order being charged to us, but it was quickly sorted out.

Unser Aufenthalt vom 14.–15.12.2025 in Zimmer 620 war eine einzige Enttäuschung. Geplant als Geburtstagsüberraschung, fanden wir stattdessen ein hygienisch und baulich verwahrlostes Zimmer vor.

Die größten Kritikpunkte:

Mangelnde Hygiene: Schimmel in der Dusche, massiver Urinstein und eine völlig verdreckte, festklemmende Toilettenbürste. Die Benutzung war aufgrund des Infektionsrisikos eine Zumutung.

Sauberkeit: Zentimeterdicke Staubschichten auf den Ablagen. Der Kühlschrank war außen mit roter Flüssigkeit bespritzt und innen so dreckig, dass keine Lebensmittel gelagert werden konnten.

Bauliche Mängel: Der Balkon ist in einem maroden Zustand (Risse, abblätternder Putz). Im Innenraum waren Fußleisten gebrochen und Heizungsverkleidungen unsachgemäß montiert.

Fazit: Das Zimmer entsprach in keiner Weise dem erwarteten Standard und wirkte eher wie ein baufälliger Plattenbau. Wir können von einer Buchung in diesem Haus nur dringend abraten. Einziger Lichtblick war unser Abendessen im externen Restaurant Ariston.

Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war frisch und hatte gute Auswahl. Man konnte auch draußen sitzen und unter den schönen großen Bäumen essen. Das Fsmilienzimmer hatte gute Größe.
Die Klimaanlage fehlte schon im Zimmer, da Westseite. Zumindest ein Fenster konnte geöffnet werden. Die Fenster waren überall ziemlich schmutzig, der Flur war ok sauber, das Zimmer war sauber.
Wir wussten, dass das Gebäude alt ist und somit war es keine Überraschung. Die Lage ist schön und sehr ruhig.

Die Rezeption war nur mit einer Person besetzt obwohl Hochzeit im Haus und Anreise zu Rhein in Flammen. Das gewünschte Taxi wurde vergessen zu bestellen. Aufzugsanlagen komplett überlastet.

Gebucht war 1 Übernachtung; wobei an Schlaf jedoch aufgrund des Lärms (wie laut zuschlagende Schranktüren, dauerhaft) in der Nacht nicht zu denken war. Dass es sich es sich um ein Durchgangszimmer handelte und Lärm auch aus dem benachbarten Zimmer bereits vor 7.00 morgens drang, machte den Aufenthalt zu einem schlaflosen Horror-Trip. Der traumhaft schöne Panoramablick aus dem Zimmer war – buchstäblich – getrübt, da das große verschmutzte Fenster ihn nur erahnen ließ. Die Vorhänge davor teilweise aus der Schiene gerissen, selbige wie auch der ganze Fensterbereich verstaubt und verdreckt. Wo ein Kühlschrank hätte sein sollen, war er entnommen worden! Im Garderobenschrank keine Beleuchtung, die den Inhalt des Gepäcks hätte erkennbar werden lassen. Der Balkon, eigentlich ein Extra, hier jedoch gänzlich ohne Mehrwert, da Mobiliar und Fußboden schon lange keine Reinigung mehr erfahren haben, das abblätternde Mauerwerk lässt das Gefühl gefährdender Instabilität aufkommen.
Die vegane Frühstücksvariante beschränkte sich auf Margarine und Streichkäse, selbst Marmeladen enthielten keinen Hinweis auf ihre Inhaltsstoffe. Fazit: Die zuvor genannten Mängel vermitteln schlussendlich den Gesamteindruck eines längst (überfällig) sanierungswürdigen Bauwerks, was die Begrifflichkeit „Hotel“ konterkariert. Es scheint wohl allein dem Mangel an Wettbewerbern – in dieser idyllisch schönen Lage - geschuldet, dass diese Unterkunft von Reisenden überhaupt noch frequentiert wird.

Wir sind gegen 13:30 Uhr angekommen und durften ein Zimmer in der 10. Etage mit Balkon und toller Aussicht beziehen. Der Balkon war leider nicht einladend, schmutzig und an vielen Stellen waren Löcher oder Risse im Beton. Außerdem leider nur ein Stuhl. Das Hotel ist ganz allgemein stark in die Jahre gekommen und bedarf einer REnovierung. In der Nacht hörten wir ein lautes Rauschen, kam wahrscheinlich vom Aufzugsschacht oder so, das war recht störend. Frühstück war von der Auswahl und Qualität her in Ordnung, besonders gut fand ich die Pancake Maschiene, hatte ich so noch nirgends gesehen.
Parken wird mit 3€ berechnet, ist zwar nicht der Rede Wert, könnte aber bei der Lage ( abseits, auf dem Berg und man ist aufs Auto angewiesen ) auch durchaus kostenlos sein. Es gibt ein tolles Restaurant im 15. Stock, mit toller Aussicht, welches leider nicht genutzt wird, schade.

Wir waren zu dritt in einem Zimmer untergebracht, jedoch war lediglich eine einzige Flasche Mineralwasser bereitgestellt. Für drei Gäste hätten wir eine etwas großzügigere Ausstattung erwartet.

Hienot näkymät. Hotelli on jo nähnyt paremmat päivät kaikki alkaa olemaan rempallaan ,hienot kuvat hotellista eivät kuvasta nyky hetkeä. Uima-allasta hotellissa ei ollut.
