The room was fine. Clean etc. Hotel and staff were all good too. Good location. Ideal parking. Was quiet despite being at the main bus station area of the train station. The windows opened for fresh air which was useful as I suppose the guest before us had turned to thermostat to 30° and it was boiling. Unfortunately the heat woke me from a really nice mattress and comfortable linens. Overall, the hotel was not at fault for anything, so 5 stars, absolutely earned.

Parking garage entrance and exit not working properly causing delays. Poor signage in and at the garage made it confusing to navigate. Very cramped entrance roadway area causes traffic issues too. Openable window in room wouldn't seal fully, on a noisy night. Room was relatively dark, even by hotel standards (which tend not to have a central bright light). Otherwise it was a nice modern hotel...

The worst experience. Room was on full air conditioning and staff had no idea what to do. Had to wear a hat and coat in the room. Restaurant was terrible and over priced. Waiter literally tossed my plate down and food was almost inedible. Airport shuttle was half hour late. Do not stay jere!

Great stay at HotelG. Was initially concerned that the room might be too small but it was clean, bright and spacious enough for us (2 adults and 1 child sharing the bed). Fantastic location just next to the Koblenz Hbf and walkable to most places in town. Also very close to the river side where there is a very long walking path to enjoy along River Rhine. Excellent stay all in.

I enjoyed my stay at Ghotel! It is walking distance from the train station. There are a few dining options nearby but most of them are closer to the center which is about 18 minutes walk. There are buses right on front that connect the city. Strongly recommend!

Car parking right under the hotel which is part of the parking area for the rail station. Elevator direct to the hotel.
Carpark can be hard to find, but once you know where it is, it is very easy.

The hotel services a guest room (towels, sheets, trash) only on request the night before. Fully disclosed, eco friendly. Fine. But they failed to actually do it upon request twice, and did only half of it - skipped the sheets -- the third time. Finally did it right the fourth time.

We stayed two nights at the GHotel in Koblenz, and although it wasn’t anything fancy, it was comfortable and in good condition. Rooms are a bit small, by American standards, but not bad for a European city. Bathroom was also small, not tiny, though. There is AC in the room, and because we were on the top floor and the weather was pretty hot, it was a life saver. Although I wish we could’ve cooled the room down a bit more at night, it was a huge improvement from outside. The AC was nice and quiet too, which we appreciated.
Bed was comfortable, but there was only one pillow per guest, and when we asked for another pillow, the man at the counter was very nice and was happy to get me one personally.
We got the breakfast there, for an extra charge. They had a lot of options and the food was good. They also have a bar in the evening, but we never went there.
Location was good, right across from the trains station. If you are driving there is a garage under the hotel where you can park for an extra fee. There are several nice restaurants to go to for dinner within walking distance. In our room we didn’t hear traffic at all. We enjoyed peaceful nights sleeping there.

Koblenz is near to Burg Eltz and Cochem and we were able to visit them both on different days. For a comfortable stay, not overly expensive, it’s definitely a good place. All the staff we met were very nice and friendly. Don’t expect luxury but it’s a clean, comfortable place for good value

Pros: It has been renovated recently so the room and bathroom are clean and new. The bathroom is a shower stall which we like. We chose this hotel because it is very close to the train station and it looks clean. It is also very quiet even thought bus station is just outside.
Cons: The ventilation unit is very noisy (you don't hear the noise from the street, but you hear the AC unit running all night long) and AC isn't very cool. No refrigerator nor coffee pot in the room

Great stay and friendly service. So convenient right across from the main train station. Beautiful walk along the river to main attractions. During Covid, free rapid testing at train station. Great place to stay if you are going to the Christmas Garden. Staff was very responsive to messsges at the before we arrived. Nice buffet breakfast.

This is a good hotel which is conveniently placed near the main bus & train station. It has air conditioning which was necessary during our stay. The staff are pleasant and efficient and the hotel was spotless. The restaurant didn't do evening meals but there are a number of restaurants nearby. The wifi could have been better and although the bed was comfortable, the pillows were awful, lumpy and thin. I did ask for additional pillows on the second night and this made a difference. I reauested a quiet room away from the street and it was very quiet. I would stay here again if in the area.

The hotel was very conveniently located near the train station and comfortable walking distance to the river. Good restaurants and breakfast cafes were also very close. Our rooms were very comfortable and clean. The room was small but efficient. We had rooms on the back side of the building away from the street,, so it was quiet all night. The hotel was very quiet in general with no sounds from the adjoining rooms. We did not eat in the hotel so I can't comment on the food.

Very clean and quite new hotel next to the train and bus station. The hotel has basement entrance to the train station parking garage and you can park for 9.5 per 24h. Rooms are quite large and for a 3* hotel this is a good choice. Isolation towards the street is great so no noise enters the room. However, they have thick doors towards the hallway but somehow all noise comes through anyway. Luckily, most guests aren't loud, but it's a very strange design flaw.
Missing: kettle and cups should be provided and comforters are really small.

Very helpful front staff that helped us store some freezer packs (though they are not super-friendly and are a bit aloof - maybe it is a German thing). A clean enough hotel though the front of the building smelled like urine, and the rooms themselves had some carpet stains. We rented 2 rooms since 1 could not accommodate 4 people. The room A/Cs were particularly weak during the recent hot and humid summer days. The lobby area and bar area were modern and nice. The surrounding area was near the train station and bus depot, so it was not particularly appealing, though very convenient for train/bus travelers.

Situated across from the main rail station square and next to the bus station, from both of which there was no noise at all, this hotel far exceeded our expectations. We chose it because we had to catch an early train to Dusseldorf airport next day. Staff were friendly and helpful and the hot breakfast options (available from 6.30am) were fresh and tasty.

Pictures don't do this hotel justice. Fantastic location for the railway station and the bus station. Brilliant staff - cannot do enough for you and very friendly. Rooms are clean, bathroom is immaculate with a powerful shower and large cubicle. Breakfast is good value and again the staff were efficient and made sure everything was available.
A couple of negatives. It was very hot when we stayed and the air conditioning didn't really work properly in both rooms. No USB socket available and we forgot our adaptor - this would have been useful. We would definitely stay here again.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel, ideally located next to the Koblenz Hbf.

Very reasonable rates. Everything seemed new and/or well maintained, the room and general facilities were clean, and the staff helped with my questions.

Although this is a “no frills” hotel (I.e. no room service, no gym, etc.) there is a small bar and dinning area downstairs serving delicious beers and snack-type foods. The breakfast and morning coffee are also surprisingly really good!

This is a great hotel for passing through Koblenz. However if you are being a tourist for a few days, then they are missing the views of the mosel/rhien... you may want to look at one of the more “full-scale” hotels with picturesque views.

We spent two nights in Koblenz, doing a one day Rhine tour and seeing the area. The G Hotel was perfect accommodation for this portion of our trip. It's about 200 yards from the train station, and a 20 minute walk from the ferry docks at Deutches Eck. The staff were able to charge my phone after I left my charger st a previous hotel. The 12 euro breakfast had lots of variety and got us off to a good start.

We arrived from a river cruise on the Rhine. The $10 taxi brought us right to the hotel. The check in was easy. The room was clean, comfortable, and the bathroom was new and spacious. The breakfast was outstanding. We walked to the train station, just across the street, for our day's adventure at Burg Eltz. We returned to Koblenz for a good dinner at one of the restaurants near the hotel. The location was perfect, the accommodations were first rate, and the price was reasonable.

Location is excellent-opposite the train station and bus station. Decent sized, clean room. However, AC was ineffective and room was too hot(centrally controlled, we were told).
Front desk staff were indifferent and unhelpful in spite of our complaints. We stayed in room 603 for 5 nights.Central area on that floor was like furnace-looks like they turned off the AC altogether there(Lobby area in the ground floor was cool and fine).If you need a cool room in summer, do not stay here.

The breakfast is fantastic and hotel service from any and all of the staff was excellent. Great new hotel next to the train station with underground parking garage. Small but tidy and well furnished in a modern/sleek design. Very good breakfast in the lobby area. It is a 20 minute walk to the shopping/dining area of the city but if you are arriving by train this is the place to stay. Also stayed at Mercure and preferred the GHotel

Modern hotel just across the plaza from the Koblenz train station. A little noisy because of the trains and busses. Convenient spot if you're in transit, but more than a kilometer walk to the interesting parts of the old town if you're a tourist. Staff were helpful with information and suggestions.
