Fast check-in, Staff very welcoming. Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast offered a nice selection of hot and cold options. Parking was quite limited when I returned late in the evening, having to park a short walk away from the hotel.

It was ok. Staff was friendly but not overly friendly.
i had to pay in cash since the credit card machine was offline ... that was bothersome ! Im glad I was prepared with cash at hand? They take very seriously breakfast ending at 10:00am! Check out was requested at 10:30am though I was ready at 10:00am. The hotel its outside Koblenz , technically its the suburbs of a different city though about 3km to Koblenz city.
The location is over a hill so keep on mind if you need to walk up and down to the road level at the bottom at the hill. There is a train going by but there is not train station at Urbar. Only a bus that crosses by every few hours, calling a taxi service or renting a car. I'd suggest making sure there is parking lot spots available or you will need to find a place to park hopefully at some nearby road.

The location of the hotel was perfect. The beds and futon, however, were hard as rocks. The person managing the property is the owners mother. She is a pleasant woman, however, when it came time to check out were were told that we would have to pay in cash first because she did not have internet to run the credit card (even thought the building had working WiFi) then we were told it was because she did not know how to run the card. This resulted in over an hour correspondence with Hotels.com to get the issue resolved.

Very clean, basics breakfast but ok, a bit remote taxi required which costs around 12-15 euros to the centre of Koblenz. Overall I would recommend this hotel and we have stayed here before and we will do again.

Lovely owner, very helpful. Room was clean and nice, surroundings were quiet. No internet was a problem as it was supposed to have internet but there wasn't any. I work from my laptop and wasn't able to without internet. Breakfast was average.

I'm sure we would have enjoyed our stay much more if the heating had been switched on in our room in anticipation of our arrival. The temperature outside was just above freezing so it took the room a long time to become warm enough to get a shower. Fortunately the restaurant was much more comfortable. We were told that the reception was only manned for limited times, but we did expect a better reception.

Very friendly and helpful. Food was great. We both had Argentinian steak which had lots of flavour and was very tender...cooked to perfection. We would definitely stay here again as it is in a quiet area away from heavy traffic. Pleasant area to visit and quite near the Rhine. Accommodation was very clean and good size room. We would like to have tried more dishes from the menu. A very friendly family run business.

It is a nice little Hotel, the proprietors were very nice and helpful. The rooms are small but clean and tidy and all relatively quiet. Negative points, small as they are was flat pillows which needed clothes under it to support the neck and lack of parking space.

A pretty bad experience

We are a family of two adults, two teenagers, all in average health.

Our room was at the top floor of the hotel. There was no lift, so we had to slog up a lot of steps with our luggage to get to the room.

The owner spoke little to no English.

There was a heat wave and although it is pretty rare to find small hotels that have air conditioning, they didn't even have an oscillating fan to help keep guests cool.

The room itself had clean sheets, floors and bathroom, but the insects completely negated that effort. The windows were open to cope with the heat, which allowed in many crawling, flying insects and plenty of spiders to keep them honest.

The housekeeper walked into our room without knocking while our children were still asleep and my husband was just about to put his clothes on.

My husband and I had our morning coffee in the beer garden. As we were leaving, the owner asked us when we were leaving, and could we please leave soon. We told her we would probably leave in half an hour. The checkout time is supposed to be noon. She was asking us to leave at 9AM.

When we came to checkout, the owner told us that the credit card machine didn't work, so we'd have to pay cash for our room. No advance notice, not a word until we showed up at the reception desk to settle our bill. It would have been very awkward if we hadn't had the cash on us.

I do not recommend this place.

Cute and cozy

I loved this hotel. The free breakfast was awesome and the staff was very friendly. My room was extremely and clean and comfortable and I would definitely recommend it. It was a little outside of Koblenz but there was a bus that goes to right outside of the hotel (the 358). The hotel is really cute and I would definitely return

Great hotel for castle sight seeing.

This was a great hotel base for exploring castles on the Rhine with my family. Parking was easy and the food was great. Included breakfast was complete with eggs and meat and not just a simple \"continental.\" We stayed for 3 days.

Hotel outside of Koblenz

Slightly disappointed that there were not enough spaces for parking for guests. Everytime we left the hotel to go somewhere and came back, we had to put the warning lights on and go into the hotel to ask the hotel where we can park. Usually the hotel owner moved their car(s), so in the end it was not a problem. After doing a long drive you just want to park the car and get into the hotel to get some rest and not get into a game of \"musical chairs\" with the car spaces.

We had a reasonable stay at this hotel. Staff were very accommodating but the rooms are only basic with the beds in particular needing an upgrade. Rooms though were very clean. Fir a one night stay it was Ok. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was a very good meal at a reasonable price.

Quaint German hoteal

This hotel is family run and a much more authentic European experience than the couple of chain hotels that we had stayed in. The owners were very helpful about information on the area and very friendly. The hotel is clean and well kept. We had 4 beds in our room, although the sleeper couch was not the most comfortable. Our room had a balcony with a great view of the Rhine. The rate includes a good breakfast and the hotel also has a restaurant, which was well-priced and had a variety of foods on the menu, including more traditional German foods and the usual pizza, etc. for the less adventurous. It is close enough to Koblenz to see all the sights, but not walking distance. We did not explore public transport options as we had a car. This hotel is highly recommended.

Great little hotel with a nice bar and restaurant

We used this little hotel as a stop over on our way to skiing in Austria and liked it so much we stayed there again on our way back. Although it is outside Koblenz it is a very convenient location and ticked all the boxes for us - a good beer in the bar and great food in the restaurant. It is run and staffed by a family and they are all very friendly and helpful. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.

The Adria-Stuben - near the Rhine

The Hotel was a quaint small Hotel (not a modern Hotel at all) - The room was huge with good quality Linen, Huge Beds and a good bathroom. We were well looked after at Breakfast. Some of the decor was looking a little tired and the television was outdated but for value for money given its location we enjoyed our stay.

Clean and tidy. No elevator. It needs upgrading in linens, drapes, tv and furniture. Food in restaurant was excellent and service was quick and efficient. It was a family atmosphere and the owner/manager was lovely. The rates do not qualify for the quality of room.

Far away from city

The hotel is all OK. It is 5 - 7 minutes away from Koblenz by taxi (about 12 - 13 euros) or 10 - 15 minutes by bus. Bus stops right next to hotel but it is runs every 0.5 - 1 hour (depending on time of a day).
We rented two rooms - so cost of a taxi ride was well offset by savings on the room price.
Rooms are small but clean. Staff is helpful. Breakfast buffet was all right. If you travel by car, the hotel is well worth it.

You need a car to stay here.

This hotel is 6km from the city centre, and the bus only travels once per hour. The bus is fairly expensive - €3.10 each way. The hotel is at the top of a hill, and our room was at the front, so traffic noise was constant and fairly noisy.

There is a nice beer garden at the back of the hotel, and the owners were kind about letting us keep our rental bikes there.

The first day we were asked what time we would like to have breakfast, 8,9 or 10 and we said 8, but the hot plates with eggs were always empty by the time we got to the breakfast room.

There are very few services in the area for walkers.

Really genuine people running this hotel. Very pleasant and felt like staying at a friend's house. Attached restaurant is very tasty (I recommend the goulash soup). Breakfast is the standard we found across Germany, bread, cheese and coldcuts. Free parking is a plus

Very convenient and clean

This was a very positive surprise I had in a recent trip to Germany. The hotel is very close (about 3 km) to Koblenz, in a small town. The room was very clean and quiet, the staff friendly and helpful, and the breakfast quite good. Overall, an excellent choice that I would highly recommend.

ON ARRIVAL WAS MET BY LANDLADY WHO WAS AS HELPFUL AS SHE COULD BE OWING TO THE LACK OF ENGLISH AND OUR LACK OF GERMAN WE WERE SHOW OUR ROOMS TWO DOUBLE AND ON ENTRY TO THE STAIRWAY WE WERE MET BY A HORRIBLE SMELL.
IN THE ROOMS IT WAS NICE AND ROOMY BUT NO TEA MAKING MACHINE WHICH IS VERY IMPORTANT TO US ENGLISH. SO AFTER A LONG TRIP INTO THE SHOWER ONLY LUKE WARM WATER THIS DID NOT IMPROVE OVER NIGHT AND ANOTHER COLD SHOWER WAS HAD BY ALL. AFTER FIGHTING OFF THREE VERY LARGE HORNETS WE HAD A REASONABLE NIGHT THEN AT SIX IN THE MORNING WE WERE AWOKE BY A RADIO FOR FIVE MINUTES THEN WE JUST GOT OFF TO SLEEP AGAIN AND THE ROAD WORKERS DECIDED TO RE LAY THE ROAD (NOT THE HOTELS FAULT I KNOW). AFTER ASKING FOR CERTAIN ITEMS THAT WERE MISSING AT BREAKFAST WE HAD A GOOD MEAL.

Viihtyisä pieni hotelli kauniilla seudulla, helppo tulla autolla.
Rauhallinen ja turvallisen tuntuinen alue. Ystävällinen henkilökunta.
Huone oli tilava ja siisti.
Hotellin vieressä myös bussipysäkki jos haluaa lähteä kaupungille.
Pienenä miinuksena suihkussa veden lämpötilan heilahtelu kylmästä kuumaan, sekä huoneessa ollut huonetuoksu. Tuoksuyliherkälle hieman häiritsevä, mutta onneksi haju ei yltänyt makuuhuoneeseen.
Yöpyisimme mielellään uudestaan.

Preis/Leistung vollkommen in Ordnung. Zimmer und Ausstattung angemessen, Frühstück war ebenfalls mehr wie ausreichend. Etwas sauberer hätte es sein dürfen, ansonsten hat alles gepasst und ich würde wieder dort übernachten.

Siisti huone mutta aivan jäinen. Lämpötilaa ei saanut mitenkään nostettua, oli siis todella kylmä. Aamiaisella klo 8.00 oli lähes kaikki jo loppu, ystävällinen henkilökunta kävi kyllä kysymässä jossain kohtaa haluaisimmeko kananmunaa ja toimitti pöytään pari paistettuna. Ei pysty suosittelemaan.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, aber die Sauberkeit ließ zu wünschen übrig! Haare auf dem Bettlaken, im Waschbecken, in der Dusche und am Toilettendeckel. Essensreste und persönliche Gegenstände wahrscheinlich von den vorherigen Gästen, die dort ihren Aufenthalt genießen wollten. Kaputte Möbel, die aussahen, als ob sie vom Sperrmüll kamen (Tisch, Bank, Couch, Bett). Das Bett schön kaputt zu sein. Das Lattenrost war durchgebrochen und wurde durch eine Getränketransportkiste unter dem Bett gestützt. Überall Staub, als ob nicht richtig sauber gemacht wurde. In der Beschreibung für die Zimmerausstattung stand, dass eine Spielekonsole und eine Minibar vorhanden sein soll, was nicht der Fall war. Die Fenster schonenden defekt zu sein, da im geschlossenen Zustand ständig kalte Luft hineinzog, so dass das Heizen unnötig war.
Mein Freund und ich konnten den Aufenthalt im Hotel leider nicht genießen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt stimmt absolut nicht und wir hoffen auf eine Entschädigung. Fotos sind vorhanden.

Das Personal sehr freundlich, die Zimmer einfach und manche Möbel gut abgenutzt. Frühstück übersichtlich aber gut und frisch. Gute Busverbinungen nach Koblenz, perfekt für einen Stätetrip. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis auf jeder Fall sehr gut. Ich würde da auf jeden Fall nochmals einchecken.

Zimmer war nicht wie abgebildet, es war klein und ziemlich altbacken und lieblos. Die Dusche ebenfalls altmodisch.
Das Frühstücksbüffet war mäßig und wenn man nicht zu Beginn Frühstückszeit anwesend war, war die Auswahl sehr dürftig.
Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war wirklich schlecht.
Wir würden es nicht nochmal wählen.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich! Sauberkeit konnte man gerade so ertragen, in der Badzelle war eine Steckdose locker und bei Berührung flackerte das Licht. Haben dem Chef das Hauses davon informiert, aber es ist nichts geschehen. Wer nicht viel schlafen möchte ist in diesem Hotel gut aufgehoben, auch Nachts viel Straßenlärm. Wenn man beim Frühstück nicht viel Abwechslung braucht, dann war es gut.

Valgte ud fra hyggelig udendørs terasse med servering, som desværre viste sig at være lukket søndag. Nem afgang til værelset og parkering lige udenfor. Flinkt værtspar og en kort gåtur ned af bakke til Rhinen. Bybus tæt på og sikkert fint til et par nætters stopover i Koblenz.
