We had a suite and it was quite phenomenal. Lovely news. Temperature was perfect. Large room. We stayed for nearly a week and could have stayed longer. The pool and spa was just a short walk along the corridor. That also was wonderful and at this time of the year we had the pool to ourselves. Meals were great and wonderful service and atmosphere. Oh, and a 75 inch television giving us a cinema for the evening. Room service was also great.

We arrived in Koblenz at the end of a beautiful day-long cruise up the Rhine from Mainz and found a cab to take us to our hotel -- which we somehow thought was in or near the Altstadt. As our drive went on and on, past the city limits, we looked at each other in horror. How had we ended up so far from the town center? What we were doing in the suburbs? Happily, Fährhaus turned out to be a delight. At the reception desk, Andreas welcomed us with Champagne and escorted us to our room; we had been upgraded to the Marina Suite, which overlooked the Moselle River through floor-to-ceiling windows that one could open to the evening breeze. We began to relax.
Andreas had mentioned the pool, roof deck and sauna, so we changed into swimsuits and went upstairs. The sauna was the highlight--the most gorgeous sauna I've ever seen. It's large, and one wall is glass, with the same fabulous river view. Absolutely perfect.
We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, out on the terrace, again overlooking the river and small marina that adjoins the hotel property. The food was superb and the setting incomparable.
Our one slight criticism of Fährhaus is the extreme level to which \"smart\" electronics have been taken. We had trouble figuring out some of the locks and lights. Sometimes simple is better.
In all, though, Fährhaus excelled and we were happy for our \"mistake\" in booking so far from the city center.

Es war toll, besonders das Spa mit dem Schwimmbecken das bis Mitternacht offen ist. Das Essen im Restaurant Landgang für Frühstück und Abendessen war hervorragend. Das einzige problem war die Dusche die in der Badewanne ist.

Fährhaus gave us a very pleasant stay. Everything was perfect - the service in the reception, the restaurant and the room - simply nothing to complain over. we used the pool in the morning, everything was clean and nice and the fact that they have the pool on 5th floor gives a stunning view. We will recommend this hotel anytime.

Das rel. neue, modern gestylte Hotel liegt direkt an der Mosel. Unser großes Zimmer zur Seite war sehr ruhig und verfügte über alles, was man braucht (TV, Minibar, Kaffee-Kapsel-Maschine, Wasserkocher, Fön, kl. Hygieneartikel). Negativ: Man sollte eigenes Duschgel/Shampoo mitbringen, da nur geringe Mengen vor Ort zur Verfügung stehen. Komplizierte LED-Lichtsteuerung. Heizung funktionierte nicht richtig. Großer Flat-TV mit (nur) 15 Sendern. Positiv: Schöner Indoor-Pool mit div. Funktionen, 1 Sauna (85°), 1 Dampfbad. Spa-Bereich war bis 24:00 Uhr geöffnet.

Da Hotel hat eine tolle Lage. Der erste Eindruck war sehr schön. Durch eine offene Schranke ging es auf den Parkplatz vor dem Hotel, und dann ins Hotel.
Der Empfang war etwas holprig, was wohl daran lag, das eine neue Mitarbeiterin eingearbeitet worden ist.
Das einfache Standardzimmer war sehr schön, ein tolles Bad und eine gute Ausstattung. Leider hatte ich das Gefühl das mein Bett etwas durchgelegen war, was bei einem Hotel in der Preisklasse nicht der Fall sein sollte.
Die Sauna und der Pool in der 5 Etage sind sehr sehr schön. Leider hat man keinen Ausblick auf den Rhein aber gut, das ist ja auch irgendwie verständlich denn mit Suiten lässt sich Geld verdienen.
Mein Abendessen im Restaurant war sehr schön, der Service war ok, ich hätte mir bei dieser Preisklasse aber etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit des Personals gewünscht. Wasser musste ich immer selber nachschütten und um meine leeren Gläser gegen volle tauschen zu lassen, musste ich immer versuchen einen Kellner zu finden, der für mich zuständig war.
Nun aber das absolute no Go für ein Hotel in einer Preisklasse um die 200 Euro. Als ich mich abends gemerkt habe das ich keinen Rasierer dabei hatte, dachte ich mir, das lässt sich schnell lösen, ab zur Rezeption und freundlich nach einem Rasierer gefragt. Der Protier murmelte irgendwas in seinen Mund und suchte in diversen Schubladen um mir dann mitzuteilen das ich Pech hätte und er mich nicht helfen könnte. Das ist mir ehrlich gesagt noch nie in einem guten Hotel passiert.
