The location of the hotel and staff were friendly. We noticed our room(221) had several fruit flies/gnats on the sunny window, so the room could have been freshened up before pur stay. The rest of the room was clean, and the bed comfortable overall. The breakfast service was excellent both days. We would stay again, especially with the friendly and helpful staff.

It was a good stay at sander Hotel in Koblenz. The hotel room cleaning folks were a little overzealous at arriving at 7:55 a.m. to clean rooms. The hotel was nicely located to restaurants, shops and attractions, and the room was fine.

Finding the hotel was a breeze. Checking in was quick and easy. The person who checked us is in was friendly and provided us with a map and directions to the main haupstrasse district and attractions. The room was large and clean. Breakfast was great with many options. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and professional. We would definitely stay again here. Highly recommended.

Everything was very clean and staff are exceptionally friendly. Good breakfast room options, but website does not tell you how much breakfast costs when booking. Only concern was air conditioning not working in the room. The room stayed about 85F all night which made sleeping very uncomfortable. We arrived so late at night that by the time we were in bed and noticed the room was not cooling, we were to tired to pack up and ask for another room. We were on ground floor, so did not feel safe opening patio door all night to fool room dowm. No windows other than the patio door.

We had originally booked one night at the hotel, but wanted to stay for a second. The hotel was fully booked but the team very kindly phoned when a room became available for us. We were so grateful.

The hotel is lovely - extremely comfortable and a good location. Nice bar area and good breakfast which is reasonably priced.

It would be good to have a kettle and fridge in the rooms.

Great hotel in a good location

Great hotel - really good location in the centre of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were a really good size and bathroom was also good with a lovely shower and room for toiletries. The hotel is opposite a really handy shopping centre and near city centre car parks, which was useful as there's no reserved space at their own car park and it show as full several times.

Not bad but could do better!

The room was clean and comfortable with all the basic necessities. No view but that didn’t matter to us. Service was friendly. Do note a few things though- parking is available but comes at €18 per night. The hotel’s description listed laundry facilities as being available but apparently this does not exist. Reception was helpful in pointing us to the nearest laundromat but I think the hotel should correct its inaccuracies. Thirdly, we noticed that the floor towels and hand towels are exactly the same. I am really not sure what to make of that!

The hotel is in a great location, easy walking distance from shops and the 'old town'.
Staff were great, particularly Tengo in the bar who had some great recommendations.
They don't allow motorcycles in their garage for some reason, but allow you to park around the back of the hotel for free. It seemed safe and secure enough, but the garage would have been more convenient.
Only other thing is finding the place for the first time. Local building work has the road closed at one end, access is through what appears to be a pedestrian zone. This could have been made clear at booking.

The hotel looks really cool and is perfectly located, close to everything and yet very quiet. Every person on the staff was great, parking was easy, breakfast was very good, the rooms are very clean - the cleaning staff were so considerate and right there with any request, they were the best. However we had problems logging onto the internet every day for a week, over and over, at all times of the day and night, which made many things difficult. Maybe it’s fine for visitors with German cell phones, but we had no problem in several other hotels im Germany. We could only make calls in the room by standing in a corner near the window and holding the phone up high, and local people complained they could not hear us properly. We had to log on with each device not once or twice but several times a day, and then not all devices worked anyway. Then when we did get online it was so slow. After a few days we went to the mall across the street for hours to take care of business. So it’s an excellent choice for people who don’t need to be on the internet. Great staff though! We will be happy to return when the WiFi works as it should.

Modern city hotel - good for a stay!

Very nice decorated hotel in a modern style. Also the room was quite well thought. Very quiet area so you'll get a good sleep. Overnight parking was 12 Euros which is fair.
Good breakfast option even in Corona times with lots of obligations for the properties.

Great hotel - not sure about breakfast

This hotel was great. Great location and nice rooms. The only complaint is we had the hotel breakfast and about 2 hours later my husband became violently ill. We can’t say 100% but it makes sense because we had eaten the same things the day before. We believe it was the salmon or the lunch meat on the breakfast buffet that made him sick.

Great location within 10 minutes walking distance to all the major attractions. They do have parking at a discounted rate right next to the hotel if you reserve a spot ahead of time. Friendly front desk and comfortable beds with blackout curtains. Right next door to the tourist bureau for info about the city. Koblenz is a great place to base yourselves for both the Mosel and Rhine Castle and wine tours. Would definitely stay at this hotel again

The hotel is new. Parking was easy. Bedding was not very comfortable but the rest of the room was new and had nice features. Breakfast was good but although they have a bar in the lounge area, it is not a restaurant or serves food (besides small items such as soup or chips).

The friendly, affable General Manager appears to take a genuine interest in guests' satisfaction and that is a great big plus, in my opinion!

This hotel is only 12 months old and is in a great location the room was a good size and bedding was great the only issue i had with the room was the shower room which was separated from the toilet had no door on it and no privacy but that did not spoil our stay The staff was all excellent I did not have the breakfast there as i did not think much of the choice lots of place close by better and you are in the center of town here

A Modern hotel in a great location.

A very modern hotel in a great location on the edge of the Altstadt. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds although a bit smaller than average. The optional breakfast was very good. In our room unfortunately the free wifi was very slow, so I used my phone on 4g. The reception and breakfast staff were very friendly and as a bonus spoke very good English. A complimentary bottle of mineral water was placed in the room each day. As with most German hotels there are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, but there is a bar on the ground floor.

Alles fußläufig in der Innenstadt erreichbar. Wir hatten Freitags keinen Platz mehr in der Hotelgarage bekommen. Wurde dann gegenüber das Schaengel-Parkhaus empfohlen, das etwas teurer als das im Sander ist. Aber 1 Tag später konnten wir dann umparken, weil wieder Kapazitäten frei waren. Hotel selber vollkommen in Ordnung, alles sauber, Personal freundlich. Wir konnten sogar eine spätere Abreise vereinbaren und das Zimmer gg. kleinen Aufpreis etwas länger nutzen. Zum Frühstück zu Stoßzeiten etwas lebhafter Besuch und man musste je nach Personenanzahl klitzekleine Zeit warten, bis ein Tisch frei war. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden und worden wiederkommen.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Parkplätze im Hotel sind nur begrenzt vorhanden. Allerdings gibt es ein öffentliches Parkhaus das 24 Stunden geöffnet ist. Unser Zimmer im 4. Stock war ausreichend groß, das Bett war sehr gemütlich und hatte eine gute Kissenauswahl. Sauberkeit war insgesamt sehr gut, nur die oberste Ablage im Schrank war sehr staubig.
Wir würden dieses Hotel wieder buchen.

Prima hotel. Dichtbij het oude centrum (5 min lopen) en naast modern winkelcentrum. Efficiënt en vriendelijk personeel. Kamer groot genoeg voor een overnachting of weekendje. Ontbijt was lekker, was uitgebreid en werd steeds aangevuld. Wij konden onder hotel parkeren. In omgeving voldoende parkeergarages.
