Arrived to be greeted by a group standing in the front entrance smoking weed. No one from the hotel asked them to simple move a few meters so all areivedcdidnt have to walk through it. Was woken up by dealing going on at 02:15am outside my door. There meals overall are not cheap, but the cheapest option at my point of stay was roughly £12 - but they then charge you £7 to bring it 1 floor which isn’t really 4* service. £6 to park your car a day and no guarantee of a space. The staff were always polite - but that only masks the reality here on somewhere more 2* with 4* prices

It is okay, but please at least please keep a tissue box in the room. There were only two tissues left in the box which is in the washroom. I paid £67 for just a few hours, and in the middle of the night my son vomited and we needed tissues, but there were none available in the room.

Disappointing that room service had a hidden \"tray charge\" not detailed on the menu or room welcome letter. This was the only standout difference to other similar quality hotel brands where this is not a charge (or at least quoted on menu prices).

Stayed for one night in standard room. Have previously stayed in this hotel twice, but in their deluxe/superior room which was in a much better condition. Good choice of breakfast. Started clearing up breakfast 10.15 when breakfast is supposed to close at 10.30. Room good condition, comfortable bed, bathroom dated and bath had marks in it, so didn't use it. Staff helpful and friendly. Paid car park £6 for 24 hrs. About 10 mins walk to the station. Close proximity by car to Swindon Designer Outlet. Town centre/dining/cinema about 7 mins walk. The area felt unsafe late evening if walking.

Central for Swindon

The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from Swindon Railway Station. It's a large building standing at a road junction. I've stayed in larger rooms at Leonardos Hotels elsewhere but it was the same good quality with satisfactory fixtures. The bed was firm and I would have liked some softer pillows. The room was very quiet with little noise outside the hotel or within the building. The buffet breakfast was varied with an array of tasty items including well cooked sausages and also poached eggs cooked to order. The staff I met were pleasant and helpful and I would stay at this hotel again.

Check in was good, 1812 bar staff and breakfast staff were good. Manager was not helpful when I had to complain for the second day about plumbing issues (and then electrical ones as well)
The noise has definitely increased from previous stays. I think the club side of business is now seems more important than the hotel side. I had dirty water coming back up the drains, dangerous electrical issues

Hotel was okay, parking seems slightly dodgy 3rd party company and receptionist stated that just entering reg prevents a fine and asked me if I wanted to pay the £6 stated parking fee.

In my view they should take the payment when you check in and register your reg, suspected they don’t because the parking company make a profit?

The hotel is clean, which is really lovely to see as it is very rare to have a clean hotel nowadays. The only downside was the air conditioning was not working as it was set to automatic mode where I couldn't control it. I had to wait a while to see if this could be fixed, but eventually I was moved to another room where it worked fine, so no issues. The only thing I would say is that it kept turning itself off every couple of hours so I had to keep getting up to turn it back on again. It would be much better if the air con is fully controllable in each room, especially for people like myself who suffer with asthma. However, the staff were really friendly and helped as much as possible.

A pleasant enough stay for the price paid, but for this to be a 4* hotel a lot needs doing. The rooms are run down in some areas (paint scuffed, dents in doors, minor interior damage) and no safe or fridge (which I feel should be compulsory for a 4* hotel)
The room itself was spacious, large comfy bed and I had a good nights sleep. There was an ironing board and heated mirror in the bathroom. Shower was good, bathroom a little cramped though.
Good paid parking at the back of the hotel. £6/night is a fair price.

Really nice hotel. But a bit of a pain to get to from the railway station with all the road and regeneration work going on. Why whoever is doing the work do not open the pavement area up at weekends is beyond me. No one working. But having to go out of the way to get to the hotel. But that’s not the hotel’s fault.

Good enough for what we needed.

The hotel was nice enough. Unfortunately the ice machine was broken but it is what it is.
The booking came with free parking if you put your registration in at the reception, however the guy who checked us in was a bit weird saying it was £6 but he will waive the charge for us.
We were on the 8th floor. I don't use lifts so I asked where the stairs were and he tried to tell me they didn't have any.
Stairwell was nice until floor 5 where there was no carpet or wallpaper and the floor number was just spray painted on.

Room was nice and clean. It was nice and quiet and you couldn't hear noise from other guests. Bed was comfortable enough and the air conditioning was very necessary. Had a nice little fridge in the room which was good.

Hotel was very good. Very friendly and pleasant staff. Breakfast was very good part morning 2. No fried eggs morning 1. Bar prices not extortionate. Only criticism is that TV in room has no apps and no radio, very limited channels and didn't appear to be able to stream content from phone orc tablet. Parking very good and loca perfect if you wanted to go into town and very close to train station.
