We chose this hotel because it wasn't in the city (Palma). Though a 30-minute drive from the airport, it was well worth it. The property is beautiful. The rooms are very well designed and the pool was a refreshing welcome. Very peaceful. And it's a short drive to some of the most beautiful beaches (highly recommend Mondrago Natural Park). The whole island is easily reachable by car, so it was always nice to come back to the beautiful comforts of this hotel. (Though it's in a small town, there are a few restaurants - but the best by far is Restaurante Es Mestral. Great food.) If you want a peaceful, restful place to stay - not the loud places on the beach in Palma - I highly recommend Hotel Ca'n Bonico.

One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The property looked out of a movie, and the room was clean, updated, and spacious. The staff was also extremely accommodating and friendly. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Ses Salines!

Loved our stay at the beautiful and tranquil Hotel Ca'n Bonico. Great location for local restaurants, shops, and only a 15 minute drive to all the best beaches in the area.
Only small compliant was that we were looking forward to having our laundry done here (as this was the last leg of our trip) and were told that they couldn't guarantee it would be done in the 3 days we were there. We had to look for a laundromat elsewhere.
Otherwise, would love to return and couldn't recommend this hotel more. :)

Great place but avoid older part
Ca’n Bonico is a great place. The outdoor premises are amazing and so is the staff. However, be very careful about the type of room you select. If you select a “standard double room”, call to make sure they do not put you in the “older part” of the hotel, and avoid at all cost room 201 (unless you want a practically windowless and outdated room - very different than what shown on pictures). I was initially assigned room 201. After a first night and a lot of talking with the staff, I was changed to room 202 which was way better in terms of natural light. I must say it remains an older room, definitely not updated as what is showcased on the pictures. It does have some charm, but let’s face it, paint is peeling off the walls. From what I’ve seen, the best advice I could give to avoid those rooms would be to select a room with terrace. They really look great. You probably have to book way in advance though. I booked three months prior to my stay and no terrace room was available then.
Finally, I have to put in good words for the staff. They really were all super kind. The lady at the reception whom helped me with the room 201 issue was very understanding and kind. I also have to acknowledge the waiter at the restaurant who was very nice and gave a lot of great advice for visiting the area (can’t remember his name - he wears turquoise glasses).

This hotel is unique and historic. The setting and the building are lovely. The staff is friendly and our room was spacious and relatively clean. The internet worked reasonably well but this is a historic property with thick stone walls that make wifi challenging in some rooms and spaces. The hotel is a bit dated and, by US standards, would be a 3-star rating. Overall, this was a great value, in a quaint village, with a nice pool area and pool bar. Dining options and a super market are located steps from the property. Parking was easy and convenient. All our needs were met.

What a beautiful and unique hotel, we had a standard room which was large and had lots of character with an old tower above the jail in the room. Staff all super friendly and helpful. Very quiet town with short drive to other local towns/coves. A very relaxing way to end our tour around Majorca.

Each are of the property has its own separate space and feels comfortable and private, including the pool, bar, restaurant, outdoor pool lounge, interior courtyard, and reception hall. All the construction has been done with the greatest sensitivity and the staff made every attempt to accommodate our needs, including a vegetarian meal - rather an uncommon request in Mallorca!

This was our third visit the first being in 2012. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful and the amenities do not disappoint. We were half-board an enjoyed a good fresh varied choice for breakfast each day. The evening meals are limited to a choice of three starters, two mains and three deserts. However, they were all wonderful.
If you just want to chill the pool area is lovely with comfortable loungers, but if you want to explore the south of the island it is an excellent base to do so, with some glorious secluded beaches only a short drive away.

The hotel is very nice and the property is impeccable. The area is quiet but driving distance to the major beaches. Breakfast is OK and honestly lacks of creativity and dishes. If you are staying more than 2 days you probably will try to find another place for breakfast. I definitely recommend the hotel for families or couples that want some peach and tranquility

If you want to experience authentic Mallorca, away from the crowds and new development, this is a perfect place! The hotel is gorgeous. Beautiful pool, our room was big and comfortable. Superb hotel ( albeit little expensive), lovely staff, excellent Breakfast and Dinner. Wifi works in rooms providing you initially log on at reception! Large enclosed car park across the road to the rear of hotel but can only be accessed with room card. No parking at main entrance so you need to drive around the block to rear of Hotel and walk through to Check in and collect Room key card that opens hotel rear gate and car park gate, a little tedious! However free \"Welcome\" Cava compensates. There can be a problem with hourly clock chimes from adjacent church if you are a light sleeper. Ses Salines is a small country town surrounded by pink Almond blossom in early March, good centre for all the \"Calas\" of South East Mallorca. Hotel has a fine external swimming pool

Lovely hotel in beautiful historic building.
This hotel is in a lovely unspoilt Spanish town away from the tourist resorts. The building has been beautifully restored in a contemporary style but still preserving the original features. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the pretty garden and pool area is very peaceful, a quiet oasis away from the bustle of the town itself. Good restaurants, bars and shops are on the doorstep and are frequented by both tourists and local Spanish people. This was our second visit to the hotel and we loved it just as much this second time as the first. However, we felt that our room was looking a little worn and would have benefitted from a fresh coat of paint (this is the beginning of the main holiday season). Maybe a sign of the economic times?

Ich war mit meiner Freundin zum 2.Mal in diesem Hotel und wir lieben es. Es ist sehr ruhig und bietet im Außenbereich viele Sitz- und Liegeplätze am Pool und in mehreren Innenhöfen mit plätschernden Brunnen. Wir konnten jeden Tag auf der überdachten Terrasse draußen frühstücken mit einer sehr guten Auswahl am Frühstücksbüffet und hervorragenden Kaffee!

Without this, all the things was awesome.

Es war einfach ein wundervoller Aufenthalt, von Anfang bis Ende. Beim nächsten Mal würde ich ein Zimmer mit Terrasse nehmen. Die Woche mit den Reiterspielen Feste de Bartomeo waren unglaublich. Direkt vor dem Hotel fanden die Festivitäten statt. Man sollte allerdings nicht geräuschempfindlich sein, denn dann wird auch gefei. Uns hat es unheimlich gut gefallen.

Das Hotel hat einen gepflegten Garten. Wir bekamen ein dunkles, renovierungsbedürftiges Zimmer mit Silikonresten an der Badewanne und ohne Klimaanlage im Bad. Die Fotos mit dem das Hotel wirbt und das Zimmer, das wir hatten haben keine Ähnlichkeit. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht. Internet funktioniert gar nicht, habe die Besitzerin Cati, die oft an der Rezeption sitzt darauf angesprochen und sie hat mich für zu blöd erklärt, alle anderen hätten ja Internet, leugnen statt lösen ist die Devise des Hauses. Beim Einchecken wollte sie Geld für mein 2,5 jährigen Sohn, gut dass ich die AGB gelesen hatte und wusste, das Kinder ab 3 Jahre bezahlen müssen. Das Hotel ist nicht kinderfreundlich und nicht für Familien mit Kindern geeignet, es gibt keine Speilecke und der Pool hat keinen Kinderbecken. Im Kinderbett was wir bekamen war nicht mal ein Kissen dabei. Sehr enttäuschend für das viele Geld, was sie verlangen.

Fantastiskt ställe. Lugnt och harmoniskt och väldigt smakfullt. Det känns nästan som om man kommit in i ett kloster. Bodde i en av bungalowsen inne i trädgården. Stort och rymligt och väldigt fräscht. Bara att glida ut till poolen som dessutom hade en mysig bar. Mycket bra frukostbuffé. Hotellet hade egen inhägnad parkering utan extra kostnad.

Wunderschönes Hotel in perfekter Lage
Sehr aufmerksames, freundliches Personal, Hotel ist sehr schön eingerrichtet, im Garten lässt es sich an Pool umgeben vonoliven-, Orangen- und Granatapfelbäumen herrlich entspannen. Eigener abgeschlossenener Parkplatz ist vorhanden, schöne Strände sind ganz in der Nähe. Großes und leckeres Frühstücksbüffet.

Quite hotel, but you definitely need a car to go to the beaches. Plenty of Restaurants are nearby. Rooms are very nice - we recommend to book one with a terrace. Pool and breakfast are very nice as well.

Das Can Bonico ist ein Kleinod mitten in Ses Salines. Einmal durch den Eingang an der Hauptstraße betreten, öffnet sich ein geschmackvoll eingerichtetes und liebevoll gepflegtes Boutiquehotel mit sehr freundlichem und aufmerksamen Personal. Der Garten mit Poolbereich gibt einem das Gefühl, mitten auf dem Land in einer Finca zu sein.
Unser Zimmer (201) war im historischen Turm des ehemaligen Rittergutes und hatte nur ein kleines Fenster im Schlafraum unter der Decke und daher kaum Tageslicht. Beim nächsten Mal würden wir deshalb im Neubau buchen.
Die ruhige, erholsame und individuelle Atmosphäre, speziell am Pool, wurde leider im Verlauf des Aufenthalts durch immer mehr anreisende Familien mit sehr lebhaften Kindern getrübt.
Alles in allem ein empfehlenswertes Hotel, für uns aber nur noch in der Nebensaison.

Wir haben uns in der Hotelanlage und in dem kleinen überschaubaren Örtchen sehr wohl gefühlt. Für mehr Komfort wechselten wir nach 2 Tagen in ein Zimmer mit Terrasse. Das hat sich gelohnt -- also bei der Buchung würde ich nächstes mal versuchen möglichst kein Standard Zimmer (unseres hatte kaum Tageslicht) zu wählen. Tip: Das Hotel bietet kostenlos Fahrräder zum Verleih an.

Zufällig gefunden haben wir das Hotel, die superfreundlichen Ober und die wirklich schöne Anlage sehr genossen. Nicht weit von schönen Stränden, hervorragende Lokale fußläufig. Nicht unbedingt für Kinder, aber für Erwachsene traumhaft!

Mitten in der kleinen Ortschaft Ses Salines liegt das Hotel Ca'n Bonico. Sofort bei der Ankunft fühlt man sich wohl. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und das Hotel hat ein außergewöhnliches Flair in alten Gemäuern. Besonders die Küche ist sehr zu empfehlen. Trotz dem sehr großen Fleisch- und Fischangebot wird auch einem Vegetarier vieles geboten. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und spricht entweder ein passables Deutsch oder gutes Englisch. Auch die Umgebung ist toll und kann ganz einfach erkundet werden. Ein Ort zum Genießen!

Hotel ist super schön, renoviertes Hotel aus dem 13. Jahrhundert, einmalige Atmosphäre. Jedoch war die Küche nicht unser Fall, Frühstück sehr eintönig und entspricht nicht dem sonst sehr hochwertigem Stil des Hotels. Abendessen sehr fleischlastig, Vegetarier sind ein Problem für die Küche, es wird sich zwar bemüht aber uns hat es nicht wirklich geschmeckt. Zimmer auch sehr schön, leider etwas hellhörig und die Matratzen waren auch etwas hart. Würde das Hotel wieder buchen jedoch ohne das Abendessen.

El hotel Ca´n Bonico es un hotel pequeño que rezuma calidad y tradición por todos sus rincones. Comencemos por la arquitectura del hotel. Casa tradicional mallorquina que es capaz de conjugar una decoración propia con un interiorismo moderno. Espacios comunes inmejorables con zonas que han sabido reinventarse con un gran grado de creatividad. Habitación con todos los servicios que corresponden a un 4 estrellas respetando la arquitectura original del lugar. En el aspecto de restauración simplemente exquisito e inmejorable. No soy un sibarita ni lo pretendo, pero el hotel ofrece menús para el disfrute del paladar. El personal de recepción profesional, atento y eficaz. Capítulo aparte merece el personal del restaurante por su profesionalidad, simpatía y tratamiento inmejorable de los clientes. En este sentido, el tratamiento con la clientela repetidora (que es mucha, lo que denota la eficaz estrategia de fidelización que practica el hotel) es excelente y con los nuevos ha sido inmejorable excediento en algunos casos a sus obligaciones. Un 10 para todos y todas. Destaco para terminar la eficacia y eficiencia de la logística y organización del hotel en aspectos relacionados con la limpieza y con la preparación de las cenas que me sorprendió gratamente.

Betalade 220 euro / natt. Internet fungerar i princip inte hastigheten är nästan noll. Rummet helt kalt med billigt trägolv som knakar, skitigt i badrum med stopp i badkar/dusch. Hotellet fixade inte detta trots att vi påpekade det. Skitigt på golvet i badrummet. ett rum som inte borde kosta mer än 90 euro/ natt. Hotell personalen var förvirrade och otroligt unserviceminded.

Das Hotel hat ein einmaliges Flair in den Gemäuern eines alten Klosters. Es ist sehr stilvoll restauriert und eingerichtet. Die Lage mitten im Ort ist spitze; der Ort Ses Salines hat ein überraschend großes und hochqualitatives kulinarisches Angebot. Das Hotel selber hat eine spitzenmäßige Küche zu bieten in Form eines Drei-Gänge-Menüs am Abend, wo man sich aus jeweils drei Gerichten für jeden Gang eines auswählen darf. Die Karte wechselt alle zwei Tage. Am meisten hervorzuheben ist die unendliche Freundlichkeit des Restaurantpersonals. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder hier her!
