the room was fine especially for the price. the guy who checked us in was horrible. I stood at the desk for a while waiting for him to acknowledge me and he never did. I finally had to ask him if he was the one who could check me in. it was very late just after midnight when we arrived. but he was not welcoming at all. We had to ask for more coffee on several occasions, and it took them at least half an hour to bring more coffee. But overall, our stay was nice. I would stay here again.

I visited this property on the night of the snow storm in January. I got there and the first issue was that the toilet would not flush. I then went to take a shower and the water settled in the tub and would not drain. There was no hot water. It was also cold inside the room. On the sink inside the bathroom was shaved hair from a prior guest. I mentioned this to the person at the front desk and was told to contact the manager in a few days which I did but never got a response. I called the Choice Hotel CS and reported my displeasure but was promised a call back and no one has reached out to me.

Staff tried to be helpful, but they had no management support. I was later told that the \"manager\" was seldom there. The first room (suite) we were given didn't have a working TV in the sitting room or a light in the entryway. The replacement room had a bathroom door that wouldn't close. Since we had already moved all our stuff from the 1st room we accepted that.

Wellll… for the price, the beds were clean, bathrooms were clean and the snow removal from the parking lot was prompt during and after a storm. However, no free breakfast either morning we were there (advertised on Expedia and told of it at check in??). The place needs some love for sure. It is literally showing its age a lot! But like i said its an inexpensive place to lay our heads while tending to local commitments.

The guy at the front desk had absolutely NO customer service manners whatsoever!! We felt like we were bothering him when we walked in. No good evening no welcome nothing!! Didn’t say anything about where the elevators are, ice machine, vending machine or even the fact that there’s no breakfast although it’s advertised online as breakfast available. He just had RBF on.
To make it worse, We walked into a room that was freezing!! You’d think that whoever cleaned the room had common sense to leave some heating on for being in the middle of winter! We had to leave the coat on the kids. It took over an hour for the room to finally feel doable.

The front staff was didn’t have simple to it’s like making a room key right there they had to go the 3rd floor to get that done. The checking in process tools over 15 minutes there was no one else there. Also they don’t serve breakfast when it says it does, I wouldn’t trust it after all. Not a good idea 😖

I didn’t have high expectations for a budget hotel, but I do expect basic standards such as cleanliness, adequate towels, and minimal professionalism from staff. Unfortunately, this stay fell short in all of those areas.

The room itself was unacceptable. The bathroom had moldy caulk and visible mold on the walls. Despite booking a room with two beds for two guests, only one bath towel was provided. When I requested an additional towel at the front desk, I was told they had run out. Lacking basic hygiene essentials is not reasonable, regardless of hotel price point.

Cleanliness was a consistent issue throughout the stay. Trash from a previous guest was found underneath my bed, which strongly suggests the room had not been properly cleaned before check-in. In addition, a large cobweb near the elevator on the 3rd floor remained there the entire time we were at the hotel—further indicating that common areas are not being regularly or thoroughly maintained.

The common areas—including the lobby and elevator—had a strong smell of smoke, making it unpleasant to move through the hotel.

Staff interactions were also disappointing. There was no acknowledgment when entering or leaving the hotel, and front desk staff appeared disengaged, frequently slouched over and focused on their phones rather than attending to guests.

Overall, this property failed to meet even the most basic expectations for comfort, cleanliness, and service. I would not stay here again.

Arrived at approximately 2:15 PM and there was no one at the front desk. I was told that the front desk was performing other duties as they were short-staffed. There were stains on the elevator floor. Some of the shower supplies were depleted so they instead provided random travel size products that felt like they might have been from the previous guests.

Parking and check in were easy. I was in East Windsor for a family event for New Year’s Eve and it was cold out.

There is no temperature thermostat. It’s just “on” or off. There is a knob to adjust heat output, but sooner or later it will be either too hot or too cold.

You literally have to keep getting up during the night, turning it off, or turning it on: either boiling hot and uncomfortably cold.

This is the 21st century. It’s not rocket science to install a thermostat with a feedback loop to keep the temperature constant within 1-2 degrees of the desired setting. Thank you for listening.

They only made one bed when they came in a few times during our stay. Room had mold. Most people working there looked very sketchy.we would say hello and people just look at us. We had loss of $750 in gift-cards. The toilet in our room was unusable on our lest night. They gave us a plunger. We are older and my husband could not fix it. We asked to get moved and they gave us a new room but did not help us.The manager never called us to discuss our issues. Two dead bugs. Will not be back.

I booked this hotel for my father and mother, and I’m truly grateful for the experience they had. The location is perfect — right in the middle of everything. Whether you’re heading toward Massachusetts, the Hartford area, or anywhere in between, it’s extremely convenient.

I want to give a special shout-out to Arneta and Noble. I spoke with them beforehand because there’s a language barrier for my parents, and they were more than happy to help. They listened, accommodated every suggestion and need, and made sure my parents felt comfortable and supported throughout their stay. Their kindness and attentiveness meant so much to our family.

Thank you to the entire team, especially Arneta and Noble, for taking such wonderful care of my parents. We truly appreciate it and will absolutely be booking again.

The building was okay, it had laundry and a workout room and a decent breakfast. The biggest thing about the room was the bold around the bathtub… we stayed in 308 and they need to redo the caulking. It has black mold. They also did not get everything refilled in out room. It was nice enough but nothing to give more than a 3 stars for.
We went around Thanksgiving so it was empty and quiet.

This place was a little cleaner then the other hotel I left. Being it was a last minute booking and i was tired, it did its job. Cleanliness was ok, first room given the door was open and smelled of sewer, went down stairs to get another room and this one was ok, there was a bag over the smoke detector and a spider in the corner, bed was old but i have back problems so i don't sleep well, i called the Front desk and let them know. I am a Dual GM of 2 hotels so I understand issues with rooms, again better than the Ramada i originally booked. Didn’t stay for breakfast so don't know how that was, but overall the hotel did its purpose.

Toilet was left unflushed although seemed clean. There was only 1 towel. There were no washcloths, just one towel. The refrigerator was not cleaned. There was a grape juice that leaked all over the inside and maintenance had to come and clean the refrigerator after I had checked in. I booked this for my wife and teen daughter who were making a visit to Amherst to see our older daughter. They had a late flight and I wanted to put them near the airport for convenience. Got the message below from my wife, very alarming given the positive reviews on Expedia. Not sure I will trust Expedia reviews or really trust Comfort Inns in general.

\"Appreciate the thought of being somewhat close to the airport but next time I’ll drive to Hadley at any time or write this one down as not good. Odd area. Had to park across a big busy street and cross in the dark. Guy outside on his phone threatening someone for money. Two women get dropped off in front of hotel then in the elevator with us obviously high on something. Almost midnight and can hear lots of talking. Be out of here soon. Yay.\"

Carpets and stairs haven't been cleaned in awhile. No half and half or splenda for coffee in the morning. Bed was comfortable - but there is no maid service at all for the room. Was there four nights - Bed never made, and only once was there a replacement towel. Lobby looks run down... Will say bed was comfortable... Room adequate.

The first room we were given was unlocked and uncleaned with the tv blaring. We were then given a room with only one bed instead of two and pull out couch but the pull out mattress was severally stained (even with blood). The room in general was dirty with hair in the bath room floor and stains on the carpet and curtains. Breakfast was also below average.

The room was clean, but our door was extremely hard to open, it stuck and you had to push really hard to get it open. The entire hallway and room smelled extremely strongly of marijuana. I went down and complained and told it was because the smoking area was located under the ventilation system so it suck’s the fumes straight into the rooms.

We had what looked like roaches in our room. We had no house, cleaners come and clean in between nights. The towels were super small, and you were only given two. They ran out of water so we were not able to get water. Often times there was no one at the front desk to help you. One of the workers had what looked like their kid just running around the first floor.

Nice hotel, clean and quiet rooms, next to a Cracker Barrel and across the street from a decent Italian restaurant.

My only complaint is that the breakfast was below par compared to other Comfort Inns where I have stayed. There were much fewer options and not much supplied (a small number of bagels and bread, no muffins or pastries) even at the start of the breakfast hour. The waffle maker and batter dispenser could use updates. The nearby Cracker Barrel came in handy.

The hotel was very easy to get to right off the highway. We were able to get an early check-in to get ready for a wedding. The room was spacious and seemed clean however it did have a very strong oder to it. Not sure if it was a cleaner or something they put onto the carpet or floors. I needed to open the window to try to air it out. I should have requested a different room but I was only there for one night.
