You get what you paid for and this one should not complain. Rooms were decent not great but this place is to sleep . Does the job and the hotel staff was helpful. With this said you need to have to hotel staff instruct you as how to use the hot water . I had cold water until the staff showed me. They were very good i getting auto and taxi . Place was al little ron down but i paid $110 for 3 days so it was within my expectations.

They gave us packed breakfast due to our early check out. Sandwich, cup cake and fruit. I think the best they could do.
Room is somewhat cramped, but we'll equipped. No hand towel, though. Nearby area is not so clean, but station is walkable. Location and airport pick up are highlights.

Room size were terribly small, hardly little bigger then double bed size, not sure why they call it deluxe room.
Breakfast was served on fifth room were lift does goes, so difficult for people with kneen problem, food was not bad bit not too great also, i would say just ok to have.
Bedsheets and towels werr not of good quality now very clean, use to smell.
Their book use to offer complimentary airport transfer but when you actually reach there and ask for it they will start telling you terms and conditions for it. Over all it is ok if you are looking for 2 star level hotel.

This place is not worth the price. The rooms are not renovated and there is lot of dirt in bathrooms and rooms. The bedsheets have stains and not thoroughly clean. The staff is professional for the price you pay but the poor quality of rooms is discouraging. At max, this is a 2000 Rs hotel per night

We went for my parents visa purposes and the location is so convenient and accessible. Hotel staff is very friendly and upon checking in when we mentioned the room is cold for my aged parents, they promptly brought in a room heater. Breakfast is good with limited options. Over all a good experience.

The staff was genuinely friendly and very helpful. If I asked for something they addressed it right away. I enjoyed the food, the breakfast was great and the room service food I ordered was excellent and very affordable.

The wifi was a bit rough, some days better than others. The area around the hotel was very rugged. Challenging to walk around and very crowded but I enjoyed it as it's very unique. Overall I enjoyed my stay there and would stay there again.

Definitely not Prime, Balaji or Deluxe. Bathroom has a lot of mold and mildew, old linens, stained towels and extremely loud air conditioner. Friendly door staff, but otherwise, the other staff never really smiled. I would not recommend this place. I moved to a new hotel after a couple nights. Food was okay.

The only thing that separates them its a curtain that I'm sure I've never been washed. The staff is friendly and they'll try to book tours for you! But before booking tours compare and shop the prices. For that stay I'll give a 3/5

We did not get picked up at airport although requested many times. Calling at the airport via WhatsApp the phone was turned off/ unanswered for more than an hr and when finally answered staff told us they had no records of our booking. Eventually made our own way there, our booking was found and a quick sleep before leaving for a train. A crappy Delhi experience between hotel and pickpockets stealing mobile 20 mins after leaving the hotel. Unreliable communication at this hotel but friendly staff when you arrive.

I was unable to stay at this property because when I tried to get there I was diverted by unscrupulous taxi drivers who are working for tourists advisors stating that it’s located in a slum and drove me around a slum area that made me extremely uncomfortable. I tried calling the property several times even had Expedia to call to no avail. Unfortunately I had to pay to stay at another hotel because when I finally got someone to answer they stated that my room was no longer available due to me not showing up

The staff was very friendly, and nice. The breakfast in the morning was very good. A lot of options. The room was nice, and pretty clean. The only thing that did not go well was the fact that the driver for pickup at the airport was late. There is a money exchanger at the end of the alley which is convenient. You should also see the Gandhi memorial prior to checking in. Supposed to be good karma when first arriving in India. When this was posted it was one week after the G20. Everything was very clean. They did a wonderful job cleaning up deli and New Delhi.

I had booked this for an elderly monk who needed a place since he was transiting Delhi. The hotel did not clean the room before giving it to him. Soiled bedding, bathrooms that were water logged due to blocked drains - the worst hotel and should be delisted from Expedia. Not worth a tenth of what they charged.

When I come Delhi always try to stay this hotel. This was my 7th stay in this hotel.Hotel front desk Manger Mahesh and other staffs are very Good. This Time Mahesh was absent because of his marriage. And the hotel looks totally difference. The lady house keeping supervisor also left the job. Hotel looks very problematic. No good housing . Manger Roshan behaves Very Rude and unprofessional. The quality of hotel was going very bad rapidly. I suggested these points to improve the quality of hotel once again.
1. Improve house keeping.
2. should be accept debit card not cash only in counter.
3. Front desk manager should be polite and friendly like Mahesh.
4.Breakfast should be start at 7 am.

Great little spot!

Super convenient hotel right next to the train station (for train and metro). It is basic in terms of amenities, but more than you need when staying in a city like Delhi where you're not in your hotel for more than sleeping!

The concierge and door crew etc are amazing - super friendly and helpful.

This hotel is an excellent value for money. All of the staff are extremely friendly, John the manager was incredibly helpful and welcoming and took care of all of our needs. The room was clean and comfortable. We used room service many times, they have a big menu and the food is very good. This is a busy area but the hotel is up a side street so it is much quieter than the main road and we weren’t disturbed at all. Highly recommended.

Unsatisfactory stay at Prime Balaji

The hotel is on Arakashan Road, Paharaganj close to New Delhi railway station. The lanes are narrow and hard for big cars to navigate. The checkin was a relatively smooth.

We had chosen a deluxe room, but was small for 3 adults when the extra bed was put. The TV in my room was not working and they couldn't fix it.

I found the staff to be preferential to customers outside India. The food in breakfast is limited but ok taste wise. They take long time to refill and service is really poor. A simple order during dinner took more than 1 hour to prepare. When asked the staff about the delay he behaved rudely & showed really bad attitude.

The reception also created lot of confusion during checkout regarding payment, even after showing the hotels.com booking which stated clearly that payment was paid in full, they claimed that amount was not showing up & I had to pay room rent again. I had to pull down my card statement and send a couple of mails to reservation desk to settle it. This could have been handled in a better way, but they gave bad attitude.

I would not prefer to stay in this hotel again

We booked an executive room and instead got a deluxe room. This was confirmed by three different waiters/boys at the hotel. When I informed the reception guys about this I was told that the waiters/boys had no idea about the room category which I did not believe since the room we were given was really dingy and did not match the pics on the site. The next day we saw a much better and bigger room when it was being cleaned and we asked the cleaning guy and he said it was an executive room. Felt really cheated with this.
Good things are the location and the breakfast.

I am disappointed with the stay. It has so many things going for it but then those little things which are ignored makes it disappointing. My room was next to the dumpster room with all the brooms and cleaning devices visible plus the garbage, how can someone put that room in front of guests, even if you put it you should lock it so hard that it’s not visible to guests. TV dint had most of the popular channels, I wanted to catch up live cricket, channel was not purchase when asked couple of times at main desk that guy just said we have sent a boy to fix the issue, how lame. Room had dirty bedding, worn out furniture, poor bathroom with shower not having enough water pressure. Floor was hardwood looked fine but had thin coat of dust. It seems having really good hotel at Paharganj is extremely difficult, it is just taken for granted.

The hotel is right on the border between Delhi and New Delhi. So you're really in the OLD section of town; with the tuk-tuks; pot-holed streets and local motorbike and foot traffic - lots of horns and bustle. A mile away is Connoughty Place; the modern marketplace with shops and restaraunts. So the location was good and value is VERY good. Breakfast buffet not so good, but out to the road and take a left for 150 yards is the \"Brownie Cafe\" on the left, with a good breakfast made to order. Hotel is relatively new and clean; room was comfortable. It opens into a dusty alley; so out the door and your INTO OLD Delhi. A good place to experice the din of Delhi; but some of the comforts that make a hotel stay OK. Only real local transportation is TukTuk's or Taxi's. Railway station is a block away; but I never went there so can't comment on ease of use.

If you are looking for a cultural experience, extremely helpful staff, a good brekky this is your hotel, I had 2 x 3 night stays here and couldnt say a bad thing about this hotel. The 24 hour room service was great and a travel agent who is not out to rip you off, there are many rip off merchants in india, so if you get a quote else where be sure to compare with the onsite agent. This may not be a five star hotel but the service and food is up there !!

Quite a good hotel for the $, breakfast was pretty good, western food included as well. Stayed in the hotel for dinner each night and was supprised with the quality - the vegitarian lasagne was the best i have ever had. The area where the hotel is situated, near the New Delhi rail station is very poor and could be dangerous for some when walking late at night, i would recommend women take precautions !!

A nice hotel in a great location

This was my first trip to Delhi and this hotel was in a good location for getting about. On first appearances the area doesn't look so good but there were no issues. The staff in the hotel were extremely friendly and courteous. The room was a decent size for my requirements, it could have perhaps do with some refurbishment but at the end of the day all you need is a comfy bed and somewhere to rest. Breakfast was decent enough and I enjoyed what they had to offer. The free airport pick up service was really great and much appreciated.
