The staff is very friendly and helpful. The suite is very comfortable, especially with the balcony. Even though it’s summer, they do many things to make the stay comfortable. The swimming pool is wonderful and long enough to enjoy a swim. The restaurant Epicure provides a large menu with very tasty food at affordable prices. The lemon cake dessert at dinner was delicious, but the portion was small; I think they should make it bigger. During our stay, all personnel in all areas were ready to help with a large, lovely smile. They have a nice bar with great music and ambiance, and the prices are very good compared to other bars in the city. As it is not far from the city, it is nice to take a break and come for a weekend.

This hotel is very nice and has excellent layout but too far away from the city. If you don’t mind driving 30-40 min or spending your vacation in traffic you can book this hotel. The villa was very spacious but upon arrival we had literally no toilet paper or face towels, their attention to detail is lacking in my opinion as every hotel I’ve stayed at has these items fully stocked on check-in. Overall nice place but overpriced

Stayed here 2 nights before boarding a cruise ship so I just need a nice clean quiet place to recover from a 15 hour flight. The room was spacious cleans and quiet. Service was great. Nice welcome snack was in my room. The view sitting outside looking at polo field was nice at night w chill music and the cosmos I had were very good even though they were not on happy hour. I like the bar bites menu where you could get a small bite if you weren’t hungry for a big meal. It was a great value for what I needed.

It was great and an enjoyable stay. Really had a great time walking around the area, seeing the horses and enjoying the green fields. The staff were great Baker and Modi to name a couple. Pity that we don't ride horses but next time we shall endeavour to ride.

The only thing good about this place is the fact that its outside of the main city. Aside from that everything is the same as a normal basic hotel. Personally it wasnt worth the price i paid. I could have gotten better service for less.

An oasis of peace, nature and luxury
We stay regularly at Desert Palm because it is an oasis of peace and luxury away from the craziness of Dubai. The staff are amazing, the rooms are some of the best we ever stay in (always aim for the Polo Suites). Pool is lovely. If you want a quiet getaway just half an hour outside Dubai, this is the place.

We loved our 2 bedroom villa and the space was amazing for a family of 5 ( 3 adult children )
The villa has massive kitchens but is not kitted out with any utensils so you can’t use it , which is a massive shame if you are staying for a longer period
We had booked a 2 night stay following 5 days at the Atlantis and we were looking forward to a relaxing time
Unfortunately the villa are part of a residential complex and on our 2nd night stay the next door neighbors had a very loud all night party
We did complain and were offers a late check out the following day but it did really spoil our stay
We ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely , we ate Lobster and Black Cod and both were probably one of the best we have tasted
My eldest is a vegan and chef was very accommodating as nothing really on the menu
Breakfast was good with table service , but very slow which wouldn’t normally a problem but some of our party had to check out for a flight on the 2nd day and after waiting for over an hour left without eating ( they did send the food to the villa ) but again spoilt the experience
Hotels.com state the hotel to 5 stars but the official rating is 4, I’m not sure I would have booked if known as very expensive for a 4 star hotel

This was our second time at the hotel. Rooms were looking a bit tired this time and could do with a makeover. Although there is a courtesy car, it will only take you to the Dubai Mall which is a bit of a trek, then you have to make your own way from there and it is quite costly. Nothing near the hotel, not even a shop to buy essentials. Breakfast is a little confusing, there is only a buffet at weekends so you have to order from the main menu and like everything else is it costly if you only want a slice of toast!

I can't begin to explain how much I loved this place. Everything, and I do mean everything, was beyond my expectations. The room was beautiful and well appointed. The views from the room, and everywhere else really, were gorgeous. The food was awesome at the restaurants. Drinks from the bar were excellent, even when I asked for personalized concoctions. Room service was quick and hassle free. Staff was really friendly and ALWAYS helpful. Took a tour of the place, including the stables, which was also great.

Great oasis outside of Dubai City
About 30-mins away from Downtown Dubai, this resort is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. We were lucky enough to be able to have our VIP room upgrade to a suite overlooking the polo field. The room itself was very spacious, comfy bed, sitting area and nice bathroom. The only issue was the soundproofing of the windows overlooking the outdoor bar and dining area. On Thursday night the noise was fairly loud. There are two restaurants (one casual Epicure and one more formal one Rare Grill) as well as a bar. Rare Grill's food was great, Epicure's food was simple and decent. Service was generally very attentive.

The Desert Palm A Hidden Surprise
I stayed in Dubai for 7 days and stayed at 6 different hotels. This one was one of my top 3. Although the receptionist wasn't as accommodating and friendly as I would've liked at first, she did warm up throughout the day. I didn't get the VIP upgrade I expected due to \"capacity' but the room was still great beautiful and cozy. I'm used to large suites but the Palm Suite is a rather small suite but very comfortable. If you are looking for a cozy beautifully finished room, this is it. The real benefit here is the Polo Grounds and the Stables and the Horseriding for 12.00 to 15.00 U.S. The golf cart tour of the Acres is beautiful and is a great thing to do with your lady she will enjoy. The gym has free bikes you can sign out for free and tour the property as well. The food on site is amazing and they also have hookah, outdoor pool and more.

Favorite hotel in Dubai!
I spent a week in Dubai & Abu Dhabi and also stayed at the Rosewood and Jumeirah at Etihad, but this was my favorite hotel during the entire trip. The architecture and decor of the place is exquisite, the hotel grounds are huge and you can watch polo matches. I love horses so this pastoral, beautiful landscape was perfect.

My stay at Desert Palm was between 19 Feb-24 Feb, the purpose of visit was my honeymoon with the wife, it was her first time in dubai, and after reading many reviews and cross checking Desert Palm as a suitable location we decided this is where we wanted to stay, we could have stayed at the many other hotels within the city, but what made us choose Desert Palm, was the private location and the amenities at the resort, i cannot fault a single word , from the moment we checked-in we was given a nice refreshing juice of the day with warm wet towels, any request we had was all completed from the request of a private car to the request of using the hotel internet, honestly pictures do not do justice of the location, the resort itself has a private horse stable which my wife and myself visited to the usage of the private pool , our room was a private villa with our own private pool, my only negative was that we did not stay any longer, the staff was fantastic from the waiters to the resort manager whom made us feel welcome, honestly i will book this resort again without any queries, we felt very privileged and very special by all the staff, honestly the private location was far better than staying in a busy hotel as others available, it was our own private resort, the location is ideal around 20 minutes from the airport and into the city, i cannot remember each of the staff names to thank personally but again without repeating they were all fantastic, will definitely book again

We reserved a big three bedroom suite and got the worst hotel we have been to in a long time. It started with the reception staff giving us their political views and ended with us leaving the hotel because we could no longer support having ants in our sugar. The room was less than acceptable with the couch was stained everywhere, the pool area was extremely dirty, ants crawling in every sugar carrier they brought, air conditioning units that were not working, breakfast staff and food that were simply inadequate, bread that was hard as a rock and on and on

Quiet retreat
I have stayed in many hotels in Dubai, but found the Desert Palm to be a true oasis. The rooms are large and over look palm trees. One can watch the sunset over a large green polo field with beautiful Arabian horses trotting by. In the morning, I sipped a superfood green juice just near the quiet infinity pool. Staff was excellent, always helpful. Would love to return.

Nice Retreat
Calling this a hotel is a little misleading. It is more like a private retreat. There are only 50 rooms in the place so it gives a very private feel. We stayed in the palm suite which was nice and spacious. We love polo and enjoying the evening polo at sunset while sipping drinks and enjoying a cigar was a treat. Again, it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves.

Amazing Desert Experience
This property was magnificent! The restaurants and service were 5-star. It was so nice to be out of the city traffic but still have a clear view of Dubai's skyline. The hotel also has a fabulous spa that even the locals try to visit. You must stay over on a Friday and enjoy a real European style brunch, followed by a polo match- all right next to the infinity pool! The Arabian horses are world class. I can't brag about this hotel enough and if you have a family...upgrade to a pool residence. You won't want to leave!

I had a lovely stay. The hotel is amazing, the food is amazing, the staff is amazing...The Palm Suite with a polo field view was beautiful. We had a nice stroll through the stables with the horses and even got to see our own private polo match. It's the perfect Dubai getaway.The only slightly negative comment is that the pool was quite small and not in the sunlight.

Excellent service and a very enjoyable stay
Beautiful boutique hotel, very attentive staff starting with welcome arrival drinks and continuing throughout the stay. We stayed in one of the Palm Suites which was extremely spacious and comfortable, with all the modern day home comforts e.g. ipod & Nesspresso machine. Unfortunately one of the restaurants we specificially wanted to dine in (Rare) was closed, nevertheless the quality of the food at the alternative (Epicure) was very good. Very tranquil environment - we certainly felt a lot further than 20 mins away from the hustle and bustle of Dubai. I would recommend Desert Palm to others.

Gorgeous hotel and surroundings - really doesn't feel as though you are in the UAE and surrounded by desert... Hotel service was exceptionally good. Complained about the unusal practice of charging me AED 50 to delever my room service order, and without any fuss or arguments, this charge was removed from my bill (honestly never seen any other hotel charge for delivering room service, on top of the 10% service charge which is already added to the bill!). Stayed in a suite overlooking the polo fields, and also the outdoor dining area, which meant that things were a little noist during firday brunch and in the evening, but nothing major. Very surprised that this hotel is only rated as 3 star - far better than the vast majority of 5 star hotels I've stayed in. Definitely recommend to all.

A delightful boutique hotel set in a picturesque setting. Very quiet so perfect for a relaxing break in the sun. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. All in all would highly recommend this hotel if it is peace and quiet that you seek.
