As a business traveller the check in process was efficient, the room is a good size including desk facilities. The hairdryer was a good size and powerful enough.
My room included club breakfast which had enough options. The full breakfast on level 2 has a lot more options but I was happy with the offering on the club floor.

Hotel is a newer hotel. Room was spacious and clean. Staffs are polite and helpful. Location is great, connects to an indoor mall which is very helpful when hot weather that you don’t want to be out under the sun.

I had a fall before the trip & the Hotel did not want to refund my bookings for me & my family. As a family we will never stay in any of the Hyatt Hotels around the world. The Conrad HK refunded our bookings. Hyatt did not & ignored my pleas through Expedia. Reservations Manager did a poor job of no support. I will write in with a poor report for your hotel.

Connected to Luo Hu MixC shopping mall (not the same as the one in Nan Shan). Very convenient for shopping. Breakfast buffet also great. But try to book rooms in higher floors as there seems to be construction nearby and there may be noise even during the the weekend.

Breakfast. Best in shenzhen. Location excellent. Staff excellent.
My only frustration is the bizarre lift configuration. Like 3 separate lifts you need to take in some cases. Hotel designed this way so cannot fix. The air con doesn’t cope with the heat. Even at lowest point it cannot coo effectively. Two other business companions said the same thing.
I would stay here again because of the positives outweigh the negatives.

An absolutely outstanding property, and the best high quality staff! Highly recommend this property, and I will return on my next visit!
The only thing that needs to be corrected, is allowing children in the grand lounge (executive lounge) during cocktail hours. The guideline for most 5-star hotel lounges is no children under 12 during the cocktail hours.

The Italian restaurant La Terrazza has changed its menu. It is not as good as before. I had Calamari, and it looked and tasted like it came from Costco, or a frozen bag from a supermarket.The colour was brown, not a light colour as it should be. Also, I paid a lot for fish and received very little in return as I was still hungry.

The atmosphere is good. Staff are great too, but the food, not so much.

The location is great. Stella beer is on tap!!!

Had a great stay! The only part was that we had to go up to 33rd floor to check in and then down to the room and up again for breakfast and not every lift can get there. A bit confusing… the stairs to breakfast was not so user friendly for elderly hard of walking. The blanket was thinner than expected for a Hyatt property, unlike all other Hyatts I have stayed at. Otherwise, excellent!

Checking in was sooo bad .

I arrived at Grand Hyatt at 4pm n expected an instant check in but lo n behold , there was no room avail yet. There was no explanation either. Worse they could not even confirm when the room would be ready n also refused to upgrade me to another room ..
I was told to return later n without any time frame . It took me 1/2 hour of badging them to get a room at 4.45pm. Looks like Grand Hyatt overbooked their rooms n made regular room clients suffer for it.,

Big bath room but not well situated within the room. Both my husband and I literally walked right into the glass. A suggestion would be to put strips on the glass so it’s more visible.

Internet is very very slow to the point it doesn’t work most of the time. Management should look into that.

This hotel is located in Luohu, the older part of SZ. But the location is fantastic as the hotel is just next to the malls and there are plenty of dining options. The room is spacious but abit dated. Upon check in, we found that the day curtains were torn with two holes which is not acceptable for a 5 star hotel. Had informed front desk during check out.

We really liked the Grand Hyatt: the staff were super helpful and friendly, and went out of their way to accommodate us. The room was big, well designed, and quiet, and had a great view of the city. The fitness center was big and well-equipped, and the breakfast buffet was superb. a really excellent stay.

I had other 5-stor hotel options in Shanzhen but I stick to Grand Hyatt for its amazing spa setting and its convenient location. I love it’s connected to a giant mall so I can just walk over for great dining options. It’s high end and quiet, though it is probably less grand than the other new 5-star hotels around. I highly recommend this place and will def stay here again and again- and you must see the spa and be wowed.

Overall a very nice hotel thou a bit shy of 5 star. I really didn't like that not only was my room not available even thou I wasn't an early check-in but in order to not wait a couple of hours I was charged more money to get into a room that was ready, clearly a bait and switch.

When we went to our room after check-in, we smelt something a bit strange (not sure if it's rotton wood, mouldy carpet or air coming out from air condition). The staff were very kind in allocating another room to us, but the issue persisted. They suggested that we could keep choosing the room until we're satisfied, but we were a bit tired to do so.

Then the Manager on duty offered us some refreshments (fresh fruit, a bottle of red, and some nuts) as their sincerest apology. Overall we're quite happy with the service and attitude of the hotel staff. As for the condition of the hotel, there's not much anyone can do as it's 10 years' old. I believe once it gets refurbished then the quality of experience shall increase.

Nice modern clean hotel. New area. I compare everything to my usual go to hotel in Futian of which is my benchmark. Service was Prompt and professional but lacked in personality. Great rooms. Awesome food options within the hotel. Unusual amount of lifts which seems painful. Everything seems a bit back to front. Can’t forget the best part which was the amazing penthouse bar. Best in any Shenzhen hotel.

I would say this is the best hotel in Shenzhen. From the room, to the commendations, to the cleanliness, to the modern technology. It is located with a spectacular five-star mall in the base of the entrance of the hotel as well as a five-star mall connected with many incredible restaurants. It’s very close to everything. The train station/ the market/everything. It’s amazing. If I had to make one complaint. I would say that the music in the penthouse is way too loud. And the manager refused to lower the music. He actually told me to leave. He’s an absolute idiot and he should be fired. Decides that everything was at 1evel

The hotel is very high quality, and the staff is excellent. They helped us with what we needed in the hotel and with our travel plans around the city. The breakfast buffet is amazing, but it would have been nice to have a less expensive option to get a cup of coffee or tea or a quick bite to eat without having to pay the high fee for the buffet.

SZ 5 star hotel close to HK

From HK, stayed for one night, with club lounge access.

Check-in was tough, but the staff helped a lot. Info: (Double checked with 2 staff at the front desk) Club Room in here means you have lounge access right and the *PRIORITY* to be assigned on 22/F or above. Arrived at 1pm, staff at front desk told me we (me and parents, 2 rooms) were originally assigned on 9/F, which make no sense to him too. At time, he could give us 1 room on 31/F and the other on 21/F, if I need to access the room immediately. Took the one 31/F and I said I would wait to check-in the 2nd room after official check-in time (2pm), staff replied he would keep checking for high floor. By 4pm I went to the front desk again, that gentlemen was gone and another lady helped me. Explained what happened and she check-ed me in onto 29/F, OK for me. I did not expect Club Rooms in such way (my first time), but staff was helpful and things got handled with happy ending this time.

Room was bright and clean. Shower was strong. AC did not react very quick but was OK.

Club lounge provided all-day coffee tea and soft drinks. 530 to 830pm is canapes time, which could be your dinner and drinks with the vast dishes offered. Also had breakfast here, a fine selection of enough food. Lounge was spacious, very relaxing. Alcohol at canapes time only, but selection was comprehensive (wine, beer and spirits).

Very friendly staff, eager to help. Spacious room and nice amenities. Convenient location for Metro. Nearest subway is Grand Theatre. Take Exit C MixC shopping Mall. You will be able to get to the hotel courtyard through the mall. If you would like to go to the hotel through outside the mall, take exit F Grand center station exit F. Get out and turn right through the drive way of the parking lot you will hit the a street, cross it and turn left and within n 30 meters you turn right then go straight, pass the Walmart and within 100-150 meters cross the street you will see the sign of Georgio Armani and Tesla show room just pass through you will see Grand Hyatt in the courtyard. Buy 1 day pass and it is way more cheaper and faster to move around. Road traffic is horrible.

Overall, the hotel was up to expectations. We stayed at a Club room and had access to the business lounge. It was well appointed, but breakfast was really lacking. The room was nice as well, but had a bit of a strange smell to it. The bathroom is really nice however, and so is the lobby if you want to grab a coffee after check out. The hotel is attached to a nice mall which is good for an evening stroll.

Hidden gem in a busy neighborhood

Great location with a big mall nearby and connection to the the subway station. Once you step into the Grand Hyatt the hustle and bustle outside disappears. The lobby on the top floor takes getting used to. Room was spacious and quiet, with all the comforts and amenities one expects from a Hyatt.

The hotel itself was super impressive, local area was lovely. Small features of the room could be adjusted. For example the heavy wooden doors leading to the room. The complete glass showers, would have preferred some level of privacy maybe frosted glass perhaps.
