Staff was extremely unprofessional, confrontational and seemed like he was not sober. Tried to get me to leave as soon as I walked in claiming there were no rooms available without even looking at the computer. I was given a smoking room when I requested non smoking. The room was infested with bugs, had barely any water pressure, door handle was about to fall off, holes in the wall and a burn hole on the sheets of the bed.

I currently have an open case regarding this with Orbitz. When we got there, we were told their systems were down and we had to wait in our car for 15 minutes. We weren’t allowed to wait inside we were told to wait in our car. When we went back in after 15 minutes, we were told they have no rooms available. Never spent the night there.

I’m convinced this place has fake reviews. Check In went okay, I accidentally left my phone in the lobby, right on the counter in front of the staff, we went to our rooms, immediately noticed I didn’t have it and tried calling it multiple times only for a drunk lady in lobby to answer it and hang up on me. I quickly went back to the lobby to retrieve my phone from this lady who was right in front of the gentleman that had checked us in who then didn’t help at all while said lady argued with me about it. Thanks a lot for the help there!

Now we can continue to our disgusting rooms. We booked two separate rooms, both absolutely disgusting. When we pulled the blankets off the sheets not only had small stains but large stains as well. We slept fully clothed. The bathrooms were straight out of the 1980s with shotty repairs instead of repairing them the right way. We didn’t feel comfortable using them. We checked out right at 7am and haven’t looked back! Avoid this place.

Perfect example of “you get what you pay for.” It’s not a glamorous 5 star resort. It is a budget friendly, clean, comfortable, quiet place for you to stay. There’s not much to do in Fort Pierce but the hotel is located conveniently on US1 in South Fort Pierce. Easy access to Port Saint Lucie as well.

Lets start with the good. The staff was great very friendly. The room was probably as clean as it can be. People in the next room were very friendly.
The chair was really messed up from cats clawing it. The cieling looks like it is ready to cave in. The tub needed to be replaced years ago. I will post pictures.

Always Remember, You Get What You Pay For!

I have stayed at the Red Roof many times. It is budget friendly option with a convenient location and decent rooms. My main issue with my last stay is that I stayed in a room that I have been in several times. This time, the condition of the room was not as satisfactory as it normally is. The sink faucet was broken, the water pressure was very low, the shower rod in the bathroom was broken, and the sheets were uncomfortably rough. I guess they stopped using fabric softener or something but it literally felt like I was sleeping on sand paper. The other issue I had is one that I experienced for the first time. I was advised by the hotel staff that the price had increased since the time I booked my stay and that I needed to pay the difference. I paid, but I was not happy about it. If I book a room in advance and pay in advance, I expect my payment to be considered paid in full regardless off price fluctuations after the fact. Had the price decreased, I doubt if I would have been provided a refund. Overall, the stay was good. The hotel served its purpose.

I stay at this location often when visiting family. The mattress was pretty worn and uncomfortable, very noisy outside with loud music playing a good portion of the evening and the cell signal & property WiFi isn’t very good at all. It’s a cheaper hotel so I understand you get what you pay for but this is my honest review of my stay.

Very nice hotel

Evacuated from my home on the gulf coast to Ft Pierce for hurricane Helene. Hotel was clean, bed & pillows were comfy. The front desk lady was really nice & all the cleaning staff were great. Didn’t get to use the pool because of inclement weather conditions but it sure looked inviting. Maybe next time.

The room was spacious however ,soon as we entred the room we saw Cockroach on the wall. The door to room had a huge space at the bottom. The bathtub took forever to drain when you take a shower and the left 3 plastic cups for us to drink from. The table in the room was propped up with a peace of paper. No other utensils was left in the room and my booking was the most expensive of the rooms. Very disappointed and the reception told me she can't do anything about it , I need to to call her when I saw the Cockroach. Eventhough I have photos, I would not recommend.

We checked in at 3:15, took a 2 hr nap. Took 2 showers. Went to dinner at 6pm, came in at 8:30pm and the place smelled like sewage. I told the Front Desk agent, he came in and smelled it too. Did not offer us another room, so we just left. Biggest waste of $100 I ever have seen. Will NEVER go back.

Drove up from Miami for a birthday party on Hutchinson Island figured since we were going to be on the beach all day didn't want to drive back ,good thing I found The Red roof inn it was the perfect little hotel right on U S 1 but totally somehow isolated from any noise ...rooms are your typical two beds bathroom, small microwave, small fridge ahh No silverware ,plates or cups so bring your own ..if you like pillows bring yours cause as was told \" pillows are hard to find \" oh and they have a pool ,nice clean and open till 10 pm very relaxing place if even it was just for the evening ,front desk staff very nice ...ok last but not least the price at $ 87 well worth it , basic place no extras but comfortable next time in town will definitely be staying here .

We only needed a place to stay for the night and shower so we chose this location for the convenience and price. The room smelled so bad we had to get a candle from the store to hide the smell. The room appeared clean otherwise. The refrigerator, lamps, and clock did not work (probably an outlet issue). The door did not have a good seal so all noises outside were extremely loud (generator, pressure washer, vehicles with back up beeping). All the noises honestly seemed like it was out of a movie because of how bad it was.
