Horrible! Not safe! Bugs!

There were homeless people hanging out in the back of the hotel, and it looked like there were some drug dealing going on a couple rooms away from me. I asked to be moved to a room in the front of the hotel because I felt unsafe. they moved me to another room. There were still people just hanging out everywhere in the front of the hotel. I got myself settled in the new room and the bug started crawling up the wall. They didn’t even wait until the lights were out. They just came out and said screw you. We are here to torture you. At that point, I said enough was enough and I left
I told management about it and they basically acted like there was nothing that they could do about the people hanging out in the back and they didn’t seem to care about the bugs either

I didn't like the strong smell of cigarette inside the room, even if I asked about a not smoking room and the receptionist told me the room was not smoking, but the odor was horrible and my pijamas and hair had a cigarette smell during all day. They doesn't have hair dryer.

My family booked this hotel because of its location to an event. We live in South Florida and booked the hotel for one night since we knew we’d be getting in too late to make it home. Unfortunately, we ended up driving home in the early morning hours because there were baby cockroaches all over the room. It’s not surprising due to the run down condition of the hotel and the very cheap price point but still, this was one thing that just couldn’t be overlooked. Disgusting. The room also smelled of old cigarette smoke even though it was non smoking. The only plus was the front desk checking staff was very very nice and accommodating.

I have never stayed in a place of this caliber before & I would not consider doing it again. The room is dirty & poorly lit. The bathroom was clean & the sheets were fresh. That is the only thing I could find to say that was positive. The neighborhood is scary & there were teens riding bikes around us & watching us. I was afraid to leave our car loaded in that parking lot. The air conditioning ran constantly and so loudly non-stop.None of the controls worked. I'm sorry to have to say these things

Not what the photos shows when booking.

After 10 minutes of checking in the condition of the room and smell of cigarettes in a non-smoking room, and the door that had been forced open more then once. We checked out and was told there is no refunds. At anytime was I told during the hotels.com booking or when I checked in the America Best had a NO refund policy. Rich the manage stated that he would call hotels.com to authorize a refund. This is after calling hotels.com and my refund request was denied and told to take it up with America’s Best Management. e will see weather I get a refund. No refund received as of yet when the post was made.

The property is in a good spot and has a nice pool. The rooms would be much better if they didn't smell like they used to be smoking rooms. It is in the carpets and furniture that either need a full cleaning or replacement. The water pressure and temperature was great. It was ok for two nights.

This is one of the worst place! Would not recommend it to anyone! Small insect on the sink was the first thing I’ve noticed. Cigarette burns everywhere even though it’s non smoking room. The room stink as well. This place is almost a rundown! Shoulda paid more to stay at LaQuinta or Holiday inn!

Location was convenient, property is very old & has some maintenance problems, several restaurants within walking distance. It is in an industrial area which made me fearful of car break-ins, but the rooms were clean & the staff friendly. There are a couple of vacant buildings next door & lots of traffic noise. There is WiFi but limited TV selection with poor reception

The windows in the front of the building were broken. The drapes were old dirty shabby. Carpeting dirty warm to shreds. Light fixture hanging from ceiling by wire. Paint sloppy, coming off walls. Part of trim hanging loose behind desk person. This was all in the lobby. I did not make it into a room. Stinky with smoke.

Upon arrival i was told my room was \"flooded\" and all they had left were smoking rooms. ( no other close by motels had any vacancies) The room smelled terrible, i had to go buy some air fresheners.
The carpet was dirty and frayed. There were little bugs crawing everywhere.
Needless to say I will never stay here again and will definitely not recommend it to anyone.

When I open the door I was greeted by a roach crawling from the air conditioner underneath the bed. I proceeded to take a shower the tub had burn marks on it. The towels were rough. When I got in the bed it felt like I was sleeping on a box spring. I have two red marks little bites I'm going to have them checked out

The room was better than most I've stayed in around Fort Pierce. The staff here is outgoing and helpful. The rooms are clean. And there's a mini fridge in the room. I like this motel. While it isn't the Taj Majal; it is a safe, comfortable room. I'll stay here again.

This place is a cesspool! The entire experience was a nightmare! The room they advertise as having both a microwave and refrigerator had no amenities other than the thousands of gigantic bugs and cigarette ashes in the tub. The only ice machine on site didn't work so I was told to go next door to the Comfort Inn and steal ice from there. Then on my way back from trying to get ice a fist fight broke out right in front of the door to my room. I was violently shoved aside into the wall by one of the onlookers. The WORST part was that both the hotel and Expedia REFUSED to refund my money when I complained that I was too appalled and disgusted that I was afraid to stay there.
RUN! DON'T WALK! But for your own safety DO NOT STAY AT THAT HOTEL!

I feel we were mislead in the description of the hotel. It stated, personal balcony, there is no personal balcony, open access to all rooms on each floor. Rooms have not had a good cleaning in a long time, a lot of dirt along the trim of the floor and walls. Bathrooms were clean. Upon receiving fresh towels for next day, the towel had a strong scent of cigarettes, asked front desk for a new towel. They were not able to provide a fresh clean towel, but I was offered a pool towel. Pool was not clean at all. Black dirt circled the whole pool with much trash laying on the bottom of the pool. All lights surrounding pool were either broken or missing pieces.I do not recommend taking your children for a nights stay. The scent of marijuana was strong and many wondering the walkways. If calling for rentals, please verify if others use this is a place to live. One plus, the continental breakfast was satisfying and fresh. If looking for a nights stay or even more, I do not recommend. All rooms are very outdated and need to be updated. You are getting what you paid for. We made a big mistake! Sorry to be so harsh on the hotel, I do not feel that it is a safe place for families. There is no washer and drier, you must use surrounding hotels or laundromats. Honest thought, should take each room and do a full cleaning. Replace curtains, ours had holes in them and could be seen through. Lastly, the doors were not sealed. Light was seen throughout the door frame.

The hotel was run down. Even the toilet rocked when you sat on it. We found the room smelling of mildew. All our clothing was damp. The carpet was damp. The telephone did not work, even after the maintenance man replaced it.
The manager was hosting people who lost their homes in a hurricane last fall, so the place was full.
The staff were pleasant and helpful. There were nearby restaurants.

Did not get what I booked. Was told by staff that third party reservations (Priceline) get what's available. She said that she was sorry I didn't get what I wanted. I said I didn't get what I booked in advance. When I asked who I should forward my complaint to... I was told to complain to Priceline. We were placed in an older building in the back (place looks nice from the street). No elevator and concrete stairs leading up to a dirty, dented metal door held open with a rock. Several folks sitting on hallway floor, leaning against the walls. They would move their feet for you as you passed with your luggage. In the parking lot there were 4-7 men hanging out most of the evening. Uncomfortable feeling when going outside to car for luggage trips.

The property was old, and so were the fixtures. The room was on the ground floor, and was damp. The AC did not get rid of the mildew smell. The hotel manager was putting up people who lost their homes in the hurricane last fall. The staff that I met were non-English speaking, but friendly, and helpful. The telephone service was lacking,even after the phone was replaced.

Bad hotel So Not Stay Here

When my family and I pulled up there was a cop sitting in the parking lot. I went in to check us in and my husband stayed outside with the kids. When I came out he said that he spoke with the police officer and she asked what we were doing and recommended other hotels close by. Upon entering the room there was a drug bag on the floor and a hypodermic needle. The walls and carpet were dirty, stained, and ripped up. It also has a really bad smell. Needless to say we did not stay there. There were also all kinds of people ouside. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone! I did not feel safe at all!!

my son and i were coming from GA & booked this room with expedia cause i was getting tired i got into the room the toilet was wobbly the carpet was disgusting i wouldn’t even touch the carpet with out shoes .. when i finally over come myself mentally that i need to get over myself and get some rest i see roaches NOT JUST ONE MORE THEN 5 JUST CRAWLING ON THE WALL ... called expedia and ofcourse expedia call the hotel and they completely denied knowing anything or even speaking to m cause ofcourse i complained ... just sad and scary ... people were spoking outside & drinking ... looked more like a apartment complex the way they had clothes & grills outside then a hotel..

This hotel exploits hurricane victims - boycott!

While traveling home after Hurricane Irma, we booked a room via Orbitz. Then we confirmed that the room was being held by the hotel. Later that day, when we had driven many hours and were almost there, we called just to re-confirm. Then they told us their computers were down, so they didn't have to honor reservations made through Orbitz, and they were just taking the first (or highest paying?) cash customers to walk through door. This was during the aftermath of Hurricane Irma, so absolutely all other hotels were booked. Families with babies who were short on gas, unable to get to a new open hotel, were totally screwed, probably wound up sleeping in their cars in many cases. I understand when a hotel is booked -- but when you've already confirmed the reservation, and then decide to take it away because you'd rather just take people who come in with lots of cash instead, thus screwing over hurricane victims? Shameful.

Just for a one night sleep I figured the price was good. Big mistake. Groups of hotel residents hanging outside to escape their rooms. But things seemed normal at checkin. Room was not cleaned in a week at least, horrible smell of cat urine and mold, AC unit clackety noise. Sheets were clean, but there was no scent to show recent cleaning.

I managed to sleep, but left fast in the morning to escape the smell. No shower thank you.

PS - I'm not a whiner. This place is a bummer
