Entrance has a handicap push button for door to open automatically which was not working (neither the outside push button nor the one inside to get to the lobby.

The room had wall plugs that had only a bottom plug working - the top plug did not work.

The bathroom had gouges out of the molding at the bottom and there were signs of mold.

Listed as a 'full breakfast' it included a round patty of supposed scrambled eggs and greasy sausage.

The hotel double-billed my stay on my American Express card.

All in all - not a great just barely ok experience.

The room was adequate. The mattress was comfortable but the pillows didn't offer head support. The entrance to my room was within the stairwell and furthest from the elevator. Breakfast options were scrambled eggs, biscuit & gravy, and waffles. Location had many close options for dining and shopping.

You get what you pay for.. definitely one of the worst quality inns I’ve been to. Sure it was clean enough, but after seeing the blood spots from bed bugs but no bugs seen I didnt sleep well. Like other reviews say, staff isn’t really around. Place is a ghost town. The pool is cold. There’s also only a ladder to get in so my 4yo was disappointed she couldn’t sit n play in the water. The breakfast is the post Covid fake food breakfast. I wouldn’t feed the eggs to my dog. Would I stay again? No. More so because of the bed bug situation- I didn’t see the report of WHEN they had them but it was in 2025. I stay in many cheap hotels but this one is definitely towards the bottom. If you’re single & just looking for a cheap place for the night, go for it, nothing terribly wrong. We got one of the suites, it was smaller than suites I’ve gotten other places. Not much bigger than reg rooms. Oh & they were going to charge me per KID to stay in the room! It was me, my husband & 3 children 6 & under. HOW RIDICULOUS

The room was absolutely disgusting. I was swiping hair off the bed prior to undoing it. The bathroom was filthy. The breakfast had very very limited options and certainly nothing fresh. Only one time (at check in) did I see a staff member at the front desk. Pool was gross and walls had mold. Food in the vending machine is over 6 months expired. I should have lowered my expectations for the wicked deal I got on the room.

Staff was great. Had a long drive to get there and had to check in late. I called them up they said no problem got there close to midnight. My only dislike was that the bathtub needed some work and the towels were really rough. Other than that the stay was pleasant. Breakfast was good just missing the eggs.

After a long day at work, I was looking forward to a smooth check in so I could relax in my room & enjoy my dinner, instead I had to wait an hour until who knows who’s side messed up my reservation sort of fixed the issue. Quality Inn said they didn’t have any rooms under my name, Expedia said they did. They went back & forth until they finally found it.. kind of? I had booked 2 king beds & ended up with 2 double queen bed rooms. Was too tired & impatient to wait any longer.

Last minute stay, because of hotel change. Front desk was very friendly, went and personally checked to make sure our room was cleaned and ready to go. Right by highway, so easy access to things. Only downfall was our room was handicapped accessible, and so our shower head was pretty low.

My teen daughters and I like to visit Dubuque a couple times of year for the change of scenery from the quad cities. We started back when they loved the waterpark- now we just go To shop and enjoy a meal. This inn provides everything we need including a small indoor pool to entertain us and keep us overnight.

The room wasn't the reserved room. Pet area was nonexistent, contrary to advertised 'off-leash' per area. Check in time was lengthy - not due to other customers. Rates were pricier than comparable properties, but it was one of the few hotels allowing 2 dogs. Pool hours were less than advertised. Front desk was not staffed 24 hours as advertised. Fridge had ice build-up that prevented sufficient cooling. Furniture mismatched and some in poor repair. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was okay.

A total of 3 night stay. On the second day, a hot 95 degree day with heat index of 108, we arrived back at the hotel cliser to midnight. Our room was not serviced. We did not have any clean towels. Went to front desk. Requested towels. Had none per night staff. Gave suggestions, like please get us towels from pool area. His first response was the towels are for pool area and when i insisted for them, he stated there were none.
Per staff laundry is only done when guests are checking out and they have a full load for their industrial machines.
So, we had to sleep in sweaty, smelly bodies and could not access towels until the late afternoon of next day.

The room was freezing cold and I turned the heater on to 74 and all night it never got above 68. I asked the front desk in the morning if I could get an extra blanket on the bed for the following night or turn up the heat. I came back the end of the day and the room was at least 74 degrees.
The indoor pool was absolutely freezing. I've been in many indoor pools and this was NOT what I expected. If you're going to advertise a pool, make it comfortable.

We arrived after a 5 hour drive to be told they wouldn’t accept our dog be cause he was too big. I chose that hotel because they were pert friendly and they have no weight restrictions on the site. He was very rude. I asked if he could show me where the restrictions are and he only response was “You can’t stay here!”

The people who work the night shift are extremely rude. We needed a fresh bed set (we were swimming and came up, my niece had came to swim, she sat on the bed and had an accident) we went downstairs explained what happened, he politely got it at first, then ran around the corner saying mam mam are you sure your dog didn’t do it? When you call them for anything they act like you ruined their night.

There was a $3 charge that when I checked in said I could remove it but when I tried to get it removed - there’s never anyone at the front desk. Was always speaking to someone on the phone that tried to tell me it was a tax charge and when I told them that the person checking us in said we could remove it when we checked out then the person on the phone said it would be removed. We will see if they remove the charge.
I would not stay here again especially for what we paid.

Not Again!

Parking was difficult, staff were rude, actually threw my license and credit card at me. Room was okay except for bathroom, no hot water in shower, toilet didn’t flush correctly, towels were like burlap, floor was sticky, in the morning when down for breakfast, elevator not working, breakfast was fair, everything was cold. Not my best experience.

The online photos make this place look nicer than it is. The rooms are rundown and desperately need updating. Curtains and bedding are dingy and the towels are so tiny they barely dry a body.

The good things...the bed was comfortable. The room was clean, despite needing updating. The breakfast area does look like it's been updated. That area was nice. The rooms were quiet. If you just need a place to lie your head, this will do, but honestly I think the price point was a bit high for what you get.

Run down and smoky!

This is a very run fown hotel. The young man at the front desk was very kind and friendly. When we got to thecroom, it wreaked of smoke. We debated asking for a new room, but we were tired. My daughter wanted to swim and the pool was freezing and had a dirty mark all around it. Breakfast was decent.
