The TV in the room is also small, all things considered these days. But, it's hard to complain, really. I would absolutely stay here again were I to be in the area.

Location was ideal. We were visiting our son in Peosta who lives in College Suites. The hotel was within walking distance. Price was decent.

This hotel is in desperate need of upkeep. The room smelled musty and there was no air flow. The bathroom was disgusting, urine on the base of the toilet and behind the seat. Toilet also leaked so the floor was always wet.
The towels were tiny and felt like sandpaper. We stayed for four nights and were not checked in on or offered towels, room cleaning once. We attempted to request towels and could not reach anyone by phone, we stopped by the front desk a number of times and no one was there. We requested a second blanket and the one we received was dirty and stained.
The pool is closed, seems like indefinitely. My son stayed there in January and it was closed then as well. Breakfast is bare minimum, no protein if any sort-not even a few yogurt cups or hard boiled eggs.
Unfortunately, it’s the only option in Peosta. If you don’t mind a short drive, Dubuque may have better options.

They advertise a pool and don't have one. Which is the only reason we booked there. The clerk was unprofessional at check in. Breakfast was bagged donuts and microwaved sausages. This property is outdated and feels damp. While the bedding was clean, pulling back the bedding revealed prominent dark stains on the mattress. The front desk person was a very nice woman who was very professional and helpful. The worst part of this stay was when we started getting ready for bed, I noticed a cockroach on the far wall. Nope. Not doing that. Those get into your luggage and you're bringing home unwanted souvenirs. We left and went to the Dubuque Holiday Inn and Conference Center. It was only 15 minutes from Peosta and it was clean, updated and relaxing. I'd recommend spending a bit more and avoiding this place.

It was clean for the most part. Looks like inside had been remodeled, some stuff looks like it was done really cheap and half hearted. Breakfast is juat cereal and waffles. The windows on the place need replaced bad! You can even see out of them.

Parking was easy, breakfast was good with good things to choose from. I had a king size room where the pillows felt smaller than normal, not as fluffy as I hoped. Cobwebs were found on the walls, mold looked to be found on top of the shower. And the drain of the shower did not look good.

Horrible mattress! Couldn’t stay!

Although we loved the cleanliness and look of the place we cannot recommend any stays here. Husband and I BOTH tossed and turned on the concrete hard mattes for 2 hours before we decided to pack
Up at 2:30am and make the 2 hr drive home to sleep in our own bed! It was unbearable and truly frustrating because we wanted to live this small town clean hotel. If all the mattress are like room #307 I don’t know how anyone sleeps there unless they are black out drunk.

Nobody call the fire department for this dumpster fire, just needs to burn down. This hotel missed out on probably the last 5 remodel. All damage that has been \"repaired\" is still visible because they were halfass repairs. Such as changing bolted shower rods for the twist rods, but leaving the bolt holes unrepaired allowing for moisture into the bathroom walls and mold growth. The vanity light was changed to a smaller light, but the old holes weren't repaired and no paint was used where the old fixture was. Rust was all over metal fixtures and door frames in the bathroom. Bathrrom door had the inner foam coming out cause the door rubbed on the frame, causing a foam mess everytime the door was used. Carpeting was fraying at the main door. On the first night, there was a loud bang from the fridge. It was a huge ice block falling from the top. The fridge decided to stop working and was leaking water. I called the front desk and they told me to lugg the fridge out to the hallway.
Booked for six nights, checked out after night 2. We really tried to stay, but after 2 nights, couldn't handle it any longer. We usually can go with the flow and look past shortcomings in hotels. Usually just need a clean and safe place to lay our heads.
The first floor (including our room) smells musty and dingy. Bought 2 glade plugins to make the room smell bearable, but most of the outlets were so worn out, the plugins wouldn't stay plugged in. They have several dehumidifiers along the hall, all of wh

Love the pool and hot tube very clean pool area always we have probably stay 20 times over the years never disappointed. Beds are on the firmer side and no elevator if you cant do steps ask for main floor when you book its not a ton of stairs though

You can not see out of the windows, a/c makes dripping noises and over heats and shuts off. Originally booked because it had a pool, no longer does. Breakfast was bad. Crockpot with cold sausages, tiny gas station doughnuts and a waffle maker. Tables are from the 90's and wore out. Beds were miserable. Very dated. Lights in the main entrance burned out. Vending machine had two options. Lower level had dehumidifier running and smelt like a wet basement. Not good!

The entry to this hotel is beautiful. No one was at the desk when we arrived but a bell was available to ring. Rooms were available but the moisture level in rooms was very high, though it was not high in the lobby. There was no shower vent. Breakfast was very skimpy-not even package oatmeal with orange juice that was mostly water. Peanut butter was not available as a minimal protein. No fruit or healthy food choice. No restaurant open when we arrived (3:30 p.m.) for the evening though the attendant said it was open.

Overall, the property was clean, just outdated. The windows panes were all foggy and needs placing. We chose this hotel due traveling with kids and wanting to use the adverised pool. After check in, we learned the pool has been broken and inoperable for what appears to be a very long time, per other reviews recently discovered. We would have chosen a differnt hotel if we have known the pool is no longer an amenity offered.
