Despite the hotel being fabulous in its design, theme and great natural hot spring location. But it is old and requires major renovation and service enhancement. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to try and help but they were overwhelmed with limited resources. The pool was very hot to get into and shortage of towels. Kids play area very dirty.

The water falls are amazing it’s a relief for your body and the hotel amenities and water fall close at 10 but the main public one the natural it no longer stays avaible for public so it becomes private for the hotel guests so that’s a very good perk imagine staying under the water fall at night alone it’s a really good perk. Room service is also amazing and the buffet for lunch and breakfast is super. There’s also a super market outside in the public u can get small chips, nuts and fruits not alot security at hotel won’t let u because it’s their policy but they are so nice. Very special thanks for the spa, and the reception team especially mr Majed.

Terrible Experience – Dishonest Staff & Poor Service
I had an extremely disappointing stay at this hotel, mainly due to the unprofessionalism and dishonesty of the supervisor, Mohammad. From the start, the service was unwelcoming and unhelpful, but the worst part was how Mohammad blatantly lied about our situation.

He falsely claimed that we were trying to fit more than two people in our room, which was completely untrue. Instead of addressing our actual concerns, he chose to fabricate a story, making the situation even more frustrating. It’s shocking that a supervisor would behave this way, especially when guests expect honesty, respect, and good customer service.

Beyond this, the overall experience at the hotel was far below expectations. The staff was dismissive, and it was clear that guest satisfaction was not a priority. I would strongly advise against staying here if you value honesty, professionalism, and a stress-free stay.

I hope the management takes a serious look at their staff and improves their service because, as it stands, I would never return and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The resort is not exactly as advertised. The bathroom tiles (floor and wall tiles) are old and moldy. We booked a suite with balcony, and everything is falling apart (the chairs, door, desk, phone, tables, and lamps). The waterfall pool is nice, but you can't see the bottoms of the pool and the external tile is moldy. The hotel needs a facelift.
We booked a room with two beds, but they gave us one bed. We asked one of the managers for a room with 2 beds, but they suggested one of us sleep on the bed and the other on the sofa until a room with two beds is available. We never got a room with two beds.

Some of the staff lack professionalism and they use the hotel to advertise their own businesses. The head of guest relations services was very rude (I think his name is Fares). From the moment we arrived, he spent 19 minutes to talk to us about his personal beauty products business and Spa. He offered to take us to his place of business so we can buy stuff from his store. We asked him if the hotel offers spa services, and he told us it's too expensive.
He also provided us a list of his services that included:
- Round trip to the Dead Sea for 100JD.
- Drop off to Rainbow Street from the hotel and back for about for 85JD
- He offered to Take us to the Airport for 85JD (one way).
We asked him if the hotel offer shuttles/car services and he said the hotel has two cars, but it's not free. We asked for the price list of the hotel's car services but he declined. He suggested we ut

This hotel is nowhere near 5 stars.

It seems like no maintenance has been done since it opened.
The staff was obviously not trained at all and they were rude.
When I received my room and after settling in, I wanted to check out the hotel. To my surprise the door doesn’t lock. Red flag.
After I told them about it, a guy came and after he tried, he basically told me, its fine don’t worry!?!?
Of course I insisted on a room change, the new room was a downgrade and it had no safe box! The bathroom smelled so bad, the sewage system is very bad.
The AC barely worked.
The “natural pool” was very bad, it was over flowing.
The only normal pool was so dirty and the chairs were almost all broken.
The only good thing was is the food, its not the best but good.

This hotel has a very big potential to be a great hotspot. Its in a unique location.
The management needs to be changed.

It was a very bad stay, I checked out early morning after breakfast and went straight away to the other hotel in the deadsea contemplating why I didn’t book there before.

It seems this hotel was once very nice but the level of neglect and poor cleanliness standards are evident throughout. In particular, the room I was assigned was disgusting. The shower was covered from floor to ceiling in mold, the toilet still had remnants from the previous guests, the sheets had crumbs on them as if they hadnt been changed, the phone was filthy, and the hotels brochures were badly wrinkled and dirty. The hotel’s common areas such as the pools were badly neglected and the overall feeling was like being in an abandoned building. As if this wasnt bad enough, the front desk staff were exceptionally rude on multiple occasions. Though the area surrounding the property is truly beautiful, I would recommend staying elsewhere.

Beautiful place, but a re-fresh needed in areas!

The location and scenery is amazing.
The separate spa and waterfall complex is lovely, the pool temperature is perfect and worth the money when you add a treatment.
The buffet breakfast, dinner and a la carte were all great.

The hotel pool could do with more and newer sun loungers and area around the pool kept cleaner.
There could be more staff, sometimes by the pool it was difficult to get hold of someone. The bedrooms and ensuites could do with a bit of TLC - cracks, chips etc in a few places.
As it has the monopoly as the only hotel in the the area, given the price you pay, you expect the rooms to be of a higher finish. It has the potential to be really nice, just needs freshening up in places!

Staff service was embarrassingly bad, food was of rather sad quality especially the buffet dinner and breakfast which felt like a cattle call, place was noisy and overrun with kids, no place to sit at pool, lumpy chaise lounge chairs, pillows as hard as a rock in the rooms, bed covers that were too small, limited coffee and tea amenities, overpriced claustrophobic spa, and they charge 10 JDs for a beer. Everything is overpriced. Rather sad, when it could be a beautiful restful retreat.

I think it was a great hotel at one point - definitely not a 5 star hotel. Our door didn’t lock - went to call downstairs but the phone isn’t even hooked up (there wasn’t even a wire connection to the phone) the safety box ran out of battery, the wooden sliding doors feel like they are going to fall off when you open and close them, there’s no lock to ur balcony, hamper has trash in it, no robes - that’s a lot of misses for a 5 star hotel. Also when I checked in - the person said he had to check again to see if breakfast was included and when I checked out he said I hadn’t paid for the room yet, which I did. He had to check a couple of times and said that the room is paid for already. I’ve never been to a hotel where there were so many mistakes. The only redeeming quality is the location of the property where you can have early access to the waterfall (which also has great potential- hopefully they will improve the surrounding areas because the place could be stunning). I really was looking forward to this place and really wanted to love it.

The Ma’in Hot springs hotel was every bit the relaxing stay we expected.From the lobby through to our room with a great view of a hot spring, we really loved our stay at this property.The staff were friendly and helpful, trying to ensure we had an outside breakfast table with view of the spring each morning and generally being lovely. The room itself was decked out in the same comfortable spa fashion as the rest of the hotel and the bed was super comfy- we slept so well! We relaxed in the hot spring pool mostly and thoroughly enjoyed that slower pace this hotel offers.

Lovely well designed hotel with a great thermal pool and view of hot springs waterfall. The public waterfall is only a short walk outside the hotel. It’s a unique experience to stand under a hot thermal waterfall with water pummeling on you. Highly recommended! The staff were exceptional, attentive and accommodating. Would happily stay again.

Ma'in spa hotel has to be one of the best overall hotel experiences I have ever had. The hot spring waterfalls are extraordinarily beautiful, and the fact they are roughly 40 degrees and you can swim in them only makes them more magical.

The staff at the Ma'in spa hotel could not have been more attentive, they really go out of their way to put a smile on your face and ensure you have an incredible stay.

The breakfast was hands down the best hotel breakfast I have had at any hotel I've ever stayed at. The rooms are nice with spectacular views, the hotel could do with a little renovation / maintenance but it's still a good standard.

I wholeheartly recommend this hotel to others and I will definitely be visiting again.

This hotel has the potential to be super amazing. It has 3 hot spring waterfalls and stunning views. However, the hotel itself is a little dated. Dark furniture and dark lighting in all the public areas. Our room was spacious, great view, clean and comfortable bed. The floor was dirty and a bit sticky. We tried Chicken Caesar Salad for dinner but it was disasterous. Just mush. Buffet was 30JD.

Breakfast was fantastic. Bread fresh and eggs for omlette broken individually not a huge vat dipped into. I loved that. Staff were lovely and I really want to thank Fares especially. Cool guy.

At least one of the roads to Ma'in Hot Spring from the Dead Sea is spectacular. The site is unique, with it's deep valley setting, the hot springs and the charm of an older, established hotel.

The staff is well trained and well led. Service is good.
The food, especially the local specialty called \"Musakhan\", which is made with sumac, onions and chicken over paper-thin bread layers is both surprising and amazing.

I would literally take a whole other holiday to Jordan just to be able to stay in this hotel again!

It's in a beautiful location, highly peaceful and was a real treat to stay here. There are a few restaurants where the food was excellent, and there was a high degree of attention paid to having things locally sourced and sensitive of the environment.

The spa was out of this world - worth the high fees.

Highly recommend this hotel and would love to stay again!

The entrance area and communal spaces are very lovely! The thermal pool at the hotel itself was quite busy; however, the public thermal water fall (when visited at 6am) was completely empty!

Pool was closed which was a surprise upon our arrival. Check in service didn’t give clear instructions on how to get to the other hot springs, which resulted in confusion. Further confusion was experienced at the spa, which was free (normally 38 dinar) since the pool was closed. After having to clarify with the spa manager we were admitted for free and the remainder of the stay was nice. Property is somewhat aged compared to the photos, however - especially the spa. Restaurant and service staff were all nice, and rooms were also well kept, though they could each use an iron and ironing board. Overall a decent stay but there are minor items that should be worked out to meet expectations of a luxury hotel.

We had a lovely stay overall. Beautiful setting next to waterfalls. Relaxing stay. Staff gave us a late checkout by our request. We did have one issue the first day, there was no hot water in our room. The front desk gave us access to the spa showers. After that, the hot water worked. Otherwise we found our stay therapeutic and we will return.

The property is wonderful. The staff was fantastic and very helpful. They learned your name and room number very quickly and addressed you by name. The only issues were with the pool area. It needs to have the tiles repaired-replaced and the pol area looking clean. The patio furniture was broken and dirty. The pool water was wonderful and clean, but the pool surrounding area appears moldy.

Very pleased with this property. They have a unique location near the hot springs in a very quiet and unbusy location. Some time you can enjoy a whole waterfall by yourself with no one around. Need to improve the clearning inside the rooms and change some old furnitures. Great and delicious food both for breakfast and room service.
It is my second visit and definitely won’t be the last.
I also wants to thank Mr. Fares for the warm welcoming and the tour inside the hotel.

Great hotel. Loved the hot springs. Super friendly staff who could not do enough for you. Delicious food. Was around 1 hour from Queen A airport. We booked to spend a day at the Spa. When we arrived, got told that the Spa had been closed a few days before due to issues with plumbing. When we asked why they did not email to tell guests, they said sorry! Asked the. To organise at least a massage and the newer was sorry! The pool was supposed to be open from 9 till 5, when we arrived at 10 it was still closed and they said ,at be it will open in the afternoon. The hot pool temperature regulator had gone wrong and it was impossible to enter the boiling water. The answer again was sorry! Room was dusty, and service generally haphazard. Milk in the bottle lab;led Soya was cow’s milk! When we pointed out the danger to a lactose intolerant person like my daughter, the answer was sorry, we ran out of soya milk! We left early. Waste of our time and money. Most disappointing.

Loved this hotel! Loved the access to the public hot spring as well. It was extremely romantic and cute. I’d rarher stay here than the deadsea hotels. Heads up hotel pool closes early but public hot springs are open till midnight on some days. Great staff, breakfast was delicious.

Very calm and relaxed air about the hotel. Loved the thermal pool at the hotel and hot springs nearby. The Cascade Spa was heaven on earth! Wish we could have stayed there longer and will definitely be back. We much preferred this environment to the resorts at the Dead Sea.

Nice place make sure hot springs pool is working

We went because of the hot springs, we got up early in the morning to enjoy the hot water but we could not get in, they were working on it. At 11:30 am that was almost check out time they said we could go to the spa pool which it was a walk it was too late so we payed so much for this hotel and could not use the hot springs. Thanks God the afternoon before we were able to get in the water.

Better than the Dead Sea

A true gem hidden away in the wadis and hills of Jordan. The entire visit was excellent, to include service, cleanliness, food, and relaxing atmosphere. The springs themselves are also unique compared to any others we have seen around the world. We will definitely be going back and will be skipping the Dead Sea since the Ma'In Hot Springs hotel is far and above a better value, more peaceful, and an all around more relaxing atmosphere than the large chain hotels at the sea.

Not what is says on the tin

After Expedia’a pictures and description we expected the hotel to have a spa, 5 restaurants and 2 pools. I had a spa that you had to pay for (even as a guest at the hotel), it had one place to eat in the hotel and 2 pools but one was empty. The level of expectation was extremely high and this disappointed on every level.

Nice winter getaway but overpriced

The hotel itself is lovely. The rooms are beautiful and the hotel's ambiance is wonderful. It is nestled in a valley and has beautiful views. The staff were helpful and kind. However, this is a way overpriced experience. Booking the room only gave us limited access to the hot springs. The larger hot springs is public access, so it is super crowded and a a short walk up hill from the hotel. The hot springs access that is limited to hotel guests is very small, so it crowded, loud and not very relaxing. There is a lovely, smaller hot springs access at the spa, but you have to pay extra to access it. Spa treatments are incredibly overpriced. A one hour massage was 6x the price of a one hour massage at one of the nice spas in Amman or at the Dead Sea hotels. In the end, I think this hotel is very overpriced for what you actually get. While the location is lovely and the hotel is beautiful, the experience of the hot springs is actually quite limited and crowded.

Wow!!!

It looks very nice on the website but once you get here you realize that it’s SO MUCH BETTER. The views, the accommodations, etc. It’s well worth the time to visit.

A wonderful place, in a different environment. Staff very much welcoming and ready to make you feel as priority. Room with a beautiful view, clean and they changed our bedsheets daily. We were planning to stay one day celebrating our anniversary and we ended extending our stay. Delicious breakfast and the lunch was great and not expensive

Great for the hot springs

We loved it, we wanted to relax after a hard period of work, and this was just the thing. It's not cheap, and there's not much to do other than relax in the hot pools (unless you've got a car and can drive around a bit, then there's the Dead Sea, Madaba, Mount Nebo, and so on reasonably close for driving).

There is good hiking to be done, we are told, but we can't confirm as we only wanted to relax :)

Beautiful mountain location. Well done private Hot Spring pool you can use any season. The hotel is not updated for a long time. Some furniture is broken. Towels are worn out, pillows are cheep. Breakfast is not better than in a three star hotel. You pay for the Hot Springs!

Amazing hotel in every respect

I cannot recommend this hotel enough! My friend and I came here for a special break as it was my birthday. The staff were so friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough to make our stay more comfortable. The hotel itself and surrounds are stunning and the cascade spa is gorgeous with the same excellent service as the hotel. Beautiful rooms and great food, this hotel deserves to be an essential part of a stay in Jordan.
