This place's amazing!!! My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it exceeded all of our expectations. We were warmly greeted by our island host Viaam, who was extremely helpful and attentive. He gave us a tour of the beautiful island, kept us updated on daily activity schedules and took care of all of our dinner reservations.

The breakfast buffet at ONU Marche had huge variety of fresh hot food and baked items. Sadam and Aljuin in particular were super friendly and always made sure we had fresh juice, coffee and Prosecco at our table.

At Latitudes we had amazing bartenders. Stallon, Leo and Pudja always remembered us and our drinks. We had beautiful sunset cocktails at the bar. The restaurant has a wonderful lunch and dinner menu. We were always greeted with warm smiles from Nelvi. Saravanan and Michelle were always kind and attentive. Tendi was always ready with wine recommendations.

We had a private dinner at the Oak Lounge and it was outstanding. Avuit prepared us an amazing four course meal which was paired with wines served by Tendi. They took such great care of us and made the experience so special.

At Budomas we were treated to beautifully prepared sushi prepared by Avuit. Najima was and absolute ray of sunshine. So incredibly sweet.

Our villa was stunning and kept spotless by the amazing staff. The attention to every detail was impressive. Everyone on the island was so friendly. We had an unforgettable time. SEE YOU SOON!!

I recently had an amazing stay at the Maldives Kuredhivaru Resort and Spa. The resort itself is impeccably clean and beautifully maintained, creating a perfect tropical paradise atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, offering a variety of fresh and flavorful dishes. The service was exceptional throughout my stay, with staff going above and beyond to ensure comfort and happiness. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect honeymoon and my Son’s first Birthday !! From the moment we arrived, everything was beautifully arranged — the warm welcome, stunning views, and thoughtful little touches made us feel so special. The atmosphere was incredibly romantic, with gorgeous sunsets, cozy dining experiences, and just the right mix of relaxation and adventure.

What an incredible honeymoon! Everyone is so incredibly kind and helpful, special shout out to our wonderful and attentive host Shail, Regina who always greeted us with such warmth at breakfast, and to Jane who we loved to chat to during icecream hour :) The rooms are so spacious, clean, and comfortable. Food was incredible at all restaurants, but our favorite was Bodumas. Signature cocktails were a 10/10 - my favorite was the star martini! The most relaxing, peaceful resort. Thank you for making our stay perfect :)

Movenpick is an amazing resort! I spent a week there with my wife and two children ages 13 and 11. We stayed in a sunrise overwater villa with pool. This was our first trip to Maldives and it did not disappoint. The overwater villa is everything we had imagined. It had a glass floor when you walk in that looks through to crystal clear water below. There is a glass window in front of you looking out to the pool. There is a massive bathroom to the left with a shower that has the ocean next to it. The master bedroom was great. The outdoor area by the pool amazing. There are 3 places to eat. You have the main buffet which we ate at a couple on nights. There is latitude 5.5 which is Mediterranean where we had lunch everyday. And there is bodumas which is Japanese. I would highly recommend full board as the food was great and very good value for money. We had a la carte lunch everyday and a la Carte dinner at both latitude 5.5 and bodumas. There is a jetty where the dive centre is where you just jump off and snorkel which we did everyday. We saw reef sharks, two turtles and plenty of colourful fish. There is a couple of tennis courts where we had a family hit of tennis. There was a table tennis table and darts. They have water sports. The staff are all extraordinarily friendly. I would highly recommend this resort.

We had a fantastic time . The staff went above and beyond to take care of our needs. The 3 restaurants were amazing , food is 5 star . They treated us as family. Chippe at onu , Imda at bodumas , Wesley the buggy driver , queenlie at onu, salim and the list can go on . I have been to Europe , Middle East , subcontinent but this has to be the best vacation we had . The hospitality is just another level . The blue water is just a treat to eyes . Will be back . Our host Larina was awesome .

This was the most pleasant resort either of us have ever been to. The staff was incredibly accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay an absolute pleasure. My wife is vegan and has food allergies. Chef Serini greeted us at every meal and he cooked separate dishes for her at every meal. The food at the restaurants was all delicious and there was plenty of it. But for Sirini to go out of his way and cook something special for my wife at every meal was an incredibly special thing and he was so unbelievably nice and also excited that he could try new stuff for her.

Our plane was met at the arrival area and we were greeted by staff with music and a drink. Our host then brought us to our villa which was air conditioned, over the water and had a plunge pool with amazing views of the ocean. The resort itself is smaller but big enough to make you feel like you have a lot of privacy and space to be on your own. The staff at all the restaurants, the cleaning crew, and all the rest of the staff were super nice and treated us like royalty. I can’t complement the resort enough. If you go to the Maldives, give yourself the best gift you can and stay at Movenpick

From the moment we stepped off of the seaplane we were treated like family.....such an amazing welcome. The introduction to the resort and what it had to offer was seamless. The beach suite was absolutely beautiful, clean, spacious. Upper viewing deck perfect for morning coffee, sun downers and bat watching! The MOST comfortable bed I'd ever slept in! Lounge area was perfect for our two boys to have their own space to sleep and hang out. House keeping twice daily was exceptional. Food was varied and delicious, extensive cocktail menu on the all inclusive package. Service was fantastic .....shout out to Salim and Shihan in the restaurant areas. Nothing was too much trouble. We made use of the complimentary yoga sessions....the most beautiful settings for sunrise and sunset classes. Plus the complimentary massages were amazing, over looking the sea in the water villas! Overall the resort is immaculately kept whilst maintaining it's relationship with nature and it's surroundings. We particularly enjoyed wandering around through the jungle pathways, seeing the crabs and lizards scuttling about. Top marks for being so environmentally conscious.....not a single plastic bottle to be seen on the island! Thank you Movenpick for making our family holiday so special ❤️

Movenpick Maldives is simply Heaven on Earth. We came for the Valentines week. Everything in the resort is perfect. Just the correct number of people so it does not feel crowded. The villas are brilliant and private. There are 3 restaurants and the food is fantastic. The surprise to us was that there are 2 sommeliers there and always around to help with wine. The water activities are amazing and we did scuba diving in few places. Scuba team is great, just get on with it. It also offered us under water photos and a video of our dives. For us the surprise and top experience was the wine tasting with the sommeliers Trisan and Christoph, fantastic. Will definitely come back. The only downside (and nothing to do with the resort) is that the place is hard to get to. The Maldivian aviation is unpredictable and disorganised, and the Male airport is simply a mess, mostly not air-conditioned and super overcrowded with massive waits everywhere.

The hotel and staff overall was good. Everyone was very friendly. HOWEVER we had a huge incident that ruined our anniversary trip. The hotel is in charge of excursions and we paid for a very expensive excursion to do snorkeling however noone warned us that this was a season of planktons (jelly fish). We were stung immediately by schools of infested waters at the site and were not able to complete the excursion. We still had to pay pretty much full price and now I am dealing with damaged skin hyperpigmentation and lesions as a reaction to the stings all over my body which will take months to clear up. This was a huge negligence on the hotel property’s part by not fully disclosing this to all guests who signed up for any of their water excursions.

I booked this resort for myself and my husband and our friends. This review is for our friends bungalow. They had the best time with us. Jauzee was so helpful! The general manager also met with us and inquired about our stay which was great to see! We have nothing but good things to say about this resort and cant wait to share all of our pictures.

Had a great experience here for our Honeymoon. We stayed a total of 11 days and we could have stayed longer. The restaurants were great. They are a bit on the spendy side, as expected, and the portions were small but we found a few favorites. They do have specialty buffet nights, again kinda spendy, but amazing food to choose from. Our trip included breakfast and this was almost our favorite meal of the day. Huge variety, endless mimosas and wonderful staff. The staff was the best we've seen. They are not under staffed like most resorts. Every staff member was great! We did a couples massage as well which we both felt was one of the best massages. The whole experience at the spa was wonderful. The over water bungalow was nothing short of amazing. The infinity pool, hammock, outdoor shower, lounge chairs, see threw floor, large bathroom... we loved every single aspect of it. We had Jauzee as our personal attendant and he was so helpful, friendly, and assisted with anything that we needed throughout the stay. We loved our sunset cruise and one of the highlights was the sunset fishing! You can also have the fish prepared for you the next day for lunch if you wish for $30/person. You cant bring alcohol along but you can bring snacks. We packed some protein bars and this helped with cost of lunch/supper. Also, don' forget about the room service option. We saved money a few nights going this route and enjoyed hanging at the bungalow with our friends! Thanks again for a great stay!

Stayed at this resort for 6 days and had an absolutely incredible time. My host, Ruksar, was kind, friendly, and extremely capable. From the moment the seaplane landed to my time of departure, she handled every request and question flawlessly. The overwater villa with plunge pool was sublime, the food and service at the restaurants were outstanding, and the overall resort exuded class and sophistication. The entire staff of the resort was warm, friendly and kind. I absolutely would not hesitate staying at this property in the future and would enthusiastically recommend this resort to anyone considering a trip to the Maldives.

We stayed at Movenpick Kuredhivaru between 17th July and 24th July... It was ok stay... I wouldn't make it again to Movenpick and I believe for the same price we could have got a much better experience.

The island itself is fine and nice in terms of nature.

Food is horrible and very limited varitery... Meat wasn't cooked or grilled well at every day of our stay... in couple of days they used food from previous day... Kids food was very limited and not fresh at most of the cases.

Water Sports activities had a good range and variety yet I considered them abit expensive.

The majority of the staff was so friendly, helpful, and attentive yet there were couple of incidents where we've been ignored on purpose by one of the staff when asked for help... another incident where we felt that one of the staff was a bit pervert and looking in a harassing way... and another incident where we had one of the staff chatting with us and complaining from other guests!!.

Hotel management is very rigid and not flexible so don't expect any compliments, upgrade or welcoming gestures... I'm a gold member at Expedia which allow our stay to be upgraded as part of your benefits but the Hotel management didn't allow it claiming they didn't receive any emails from Expedia... which is something I blame Expedia for as well because the customer service was unreachable for a couple of days until I gave up.

We saw a baby shark & stingray swimming under our villa which was a bit scary for us

The property was very exclusive with a lot of privacy. Very quiet and tranquil. The staff was very nice and attentive, they really went above and beyond to accommodate us. My host Anna was wonderful, always available when we needed to make plans for our dinner.
CONS: breakfast need more varieties. It tooks us a while to get used to the food, my stomach was upset for the first three days after that it was fine. OVERALL the food department need to up it a little more.

This was the 4th time we went to the Maldives with Movenpick resort being the latest. Previously we stayed at JA Manafaru, Constance Halaveli and Ayada Maldives. We rated Movenoick second on our list behind Constance Haleveli, but if you took the fact that Movenpick is a recently new resort and the fact that Movenpick did not nickel and dime you with fees then Movenpick resort is first on the list . The room was clean with friendly staff who did a good friendly job. The rooms air conditioning was quiet and efficient. Last year at Ayada Maldives the rooms air conditioning was loud and did not cool very well which bothered me. I slept well at Movenpick as it was a quiet room with not much outside noise. Amenities were good but the snorkeling was only good at the dive center but no big deal. They did not charge us for my 7 year old daughters bed and they did not charge for kids menu food. Because of this I would rate Movenpick a 5 star plus as they did not try to gouge me on extra fees. I would consider going back for this. The flight from Mali was only 45 minutes and not 2 hours such as to JA Manufaru and Ayada. The only thing I would rate less was that the breakfast was not as good as Constance Haleveli and could have been a bit better. But it was still a good breakfast and very pleasant. The dinner restaurants were also good. The food was fresh and good quality. The beach was great. All in all we enjoyed our stay and give it a 5 star all the way ahead of Constance

Where do I even begin?! The sunrise villa and the views were like something out of a magazine. The staff were courteous and kind and the food was amazing. We loved everything about this resort, staff were really friendly and welcoming, they took care of us well. The resort and the experience there is just beyond beautiful! We got the lagoon view, overwater villa and it was amazing for our honeymoon. Wish we never left. Definitely will come back !!

I absolutely loved everything about this property. The room was spacious and clean, and the staffs were very friendly from arrival to departure. This is the perfect place for honeymoon, and wish we could've stayed longer.

A few tips for those looking to stay with Movenpick Maldives for the first time: (1) If you want to stay on a water bungalow, make sure to look at the map and book the one you want. You definitely do not want to book one where you are facing other water bungalows. The price difference isn't that big proportionate to what you pay. (2) If you do not drink alcohol, there is no need to purchase any other meal plan. The basic plan (breakfast water) is your best bet and pay as you dine in. The next plan up includes basic plan dinner, which will cost $120 per person. You probably won't end up spending more than $100 per person per dinner so it's better to stay with the basic plan. Also, Movenpick has free chocolate time and events that will keep you full, so you may skip dinner altogether on some nights. (3) Bring some food on your own. We heard that meals are extremely expensive on the island, so we brought some sandwiches, ramen, etc. We ate those for afternoon and it not only saved us money but was a quick way to keep us energized from playing in the water. (4) You do not have to tip, but it's a good gesture to tip a few bucks for services received. FYI, staffs do not expect to receive tips nor acts like one like those in the States - so don't be pressured

The staff, the room, the property, and the scenery were all amazing. I was very disappointed in the food quality. The seafood restaurant (Bodumas) should fire the chef. I ordered a steak, medium-rare. It came well-done and overly salted. I had to soak pieces of meat in olive oil and garlic to eat it. About 3/4 of the way through the steak I had to stop because the steak knife could not cut it anymore. It was that hard and overdone. The lobster tasted like chalky well-done shrimp and had the consistency of gummy-bear infused chicken breast.. The \"Caramel Popcorn Chocolate\" was a piece of hard brownie with a single kernel of caramel popcorn on top. The lobster bisque was anything but lobster. Total price was just over $400 USD. The breakfast buffet set out with food representing many ethnicities. However, I prefer quality over quantity. And the food taste was just ok. The only other place to eat on the island is at the pool bar. Very limited in food choices. Crappy seafood restaurant, pool bar, or overpriced decent buffet. Also, I was not happy with the constant attempts from the staff to sell you something. Tours, pictures, cruises, Kayaks, etc. And the price to rent a jetski is insane. Around $140 for 20 minutes. It was to the point that my wife and I decided to stay around our room for most of the trip. The prices to do anything were astronomical. With so many options for resorts I was surprised. I understand that it's the Maldives and it's expensive.

Would recommend booking at Movenpick for their reasonable prices and great hospitality!

It was our first time at Maldives, and we really wanted an overwater pool villa for the experience. Right when we got off the seaplane, we were warmly greeted and taken care by Fasy, who went out of his way to make sure everything was great from us for the whole trip. From arranging bookings for restaurants, spa, and even for our special destination dining proposal. He was very attentive and always offered to help in every way. Shareef, our server during the destination dining was also wonderful in assisting us in making sure we got all the great pictures and dinner was served perfectly.

Paban, was also great in recommending drinks menu and all the best things in the hotel. So we would say service is overall pretty great here if you meet the right staff!

Only small hiccup was that we were misinformed about the \"Half Board Package\" not including the 3-course dinner at Latitude 5.5 (which we thought had the best steaks and food); and only included ONU MARCHE's buffet. (Although the welcome packet said it includes it, so Fasy eventually helped us waived it off). That was the only part where we felt was not a perfect 10. The breakfast buffet and dinner buffet were so so even though they changed the dinner menu every night.

The room was amazing, exactly like how the pictures portrayed!

Absolutely pure paradise. I don’t even know where to begin.

Cleanliness: The overwater villa was so amazing. They left a special happy honeymoon bed decoration for us on our arrival day. Each night they would come in and get the room ready for us to go to sleep, his consisted of putting memory foam mats down next to our bed, putting glasses and water bottles on both nightstands, closing the curtains, tilting the tv towards the bed, placing the remote on nightstands, even pulling down the comforter with chocolates on the bed. If any clothes were left down, they would kindly fold them for me, which is something I did not expect! Each morning they come and make the bed and make sure the whole villa is clean, along with opening the curtains back up, and cleaning the glass floors that overlook the ocean. They made sure there was nothing to complain about.

Staff: I could not stop raving to my husband how nice everybody at this resort was. I did not run into any single staff person that was not friendly. They welcomed us to the island playing drums, all with smiles on their face. Each time we passed a staff member, we were always greeted hello, or how our day was going, or even just small simple conversations. During dining they kindly pull out the chair and push it back in for you take your seat. They were always on top of everything, and making sure everything was okay.

Activities: They
