Courteous staffs, good amenities but the rooms are outdated, thermostat for room temperature control is not functioning, the electric sockets next to the bed are not working, an old tower was left hanging in the bedroom.

This a great hotel. The room was nice most of the staff were very good. The restaurant option and food were also very good. The pool areas are amazing. A great place to relax and hang out. One of the best l have run across.

We booked a 5 night stay and there was nothing to do in the resort except for swimming pool. Listing mentioned tennis court and we saw a basketball court as well on the property but it was not maintained had big hoses/pipes lying around.
There is no shuttle running to and from the airport. If needed they'll connect you to a third party taxi which will quote more than double the price. We were quoted 55JOD for airport and from outside we were able to get the taxi for 25JOD. Another instance where we were quoted 180 JOD by AVIS(the private company) for a trip to Safawi and back but outside we were able to find it for 120 JOD.
They haven't listed the restrictions on the listing on expedia. But you'll see a list of restrictions as soon as you enter the hotel. Major one being no outside food or drink is permitted. You're forced to buy food from one of the 4 restaurants inside the hotel. This hotels are overpriced and don't give takeaways either to go and eat in the room. Then you go back to the room and call for in-room service. Staff also does not have proper knowledge on their own policies around service charges for in-room service.
Also, the most scariest was when we went outside for a walk in evening some one came from behind the tree and started following us while updating someone else on the phone. This person ran away as soon as he saw the police car standing ahead.

My stay at the Dead Sea Marriott was exceptional from check-in to check-out.
We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a more superior room. The room was spacious, the bedding was very comfortable, and the sea views across the property were absolutely breathtaking.
The grounds are immaculate and beautifully maintained, and the pools were clean and inviting throughout our stay.
We dined at both Oak and Champions, and the food was outstanding.
A very special thanks to Joseph,Samuel, Qynty and Habib, who went above and beyond to ensure we were well looked after and enjoyed the evenings out in the warmly setup patio areas.
Dining experience was fantastic especially with the services of Zharla and Ann, and the egg station gentleman.

They first told us we can have a late check out but then they only gave us one room for the late check out. Our rooms were very far from each other.

My stays at Marriott Dead Sea are usually the best, but this time it was truly the worst experience ever.
The room was not ready until 5PM. The room is supposed to be smoking free, it smelled like heavy smoke. The food at the hotel was not edible both at Champions and Il Terrazo. Cats all over the hotel. Everything was just the worst.

Hotel is excellent. One issue to consider is when paying for the hotel room , you are given the options of USD or jordan dinar. Paying in USD would cost a 6% premium that they might not tell you about

We were on a trip for my husbands birthday and the staff went out of their way to make it as special as possible with assigning us a lovely room (and allowing us to check in 4 hours early) to providing him with a cake and even singing! The room was large with a great view, very clean. The breakfast buffet was huge with a good variety of options and the grounds/pool are immaculate with plenty of area's to choose from depending on whether you want quiet or a little more life. The access to the Dead Sea was good and the 'lift' was much appreciated. I absolutely cannot fault the hotel and cannot wait to return asap

Hotel condition is very good , food is various , staff were very friendly especially with kids , toilets had No portable shatafa so it was a bit difficult to manage , they had toiletries available and slippers , the Mozaic restaurant staff were so nice , especially Khalid , the out door pools were many , all of which were well maintained , the only negative thing I felt that the splash island and the jungle arcade kids area had separate entrance fees which did not making sense as it’s well known hotel amenities are all included within the booking except the spa . So it was a bit disappointing.

On arriving to the gate, the guards asked me for an extra 50 JD for my 12 year old daughter to be in our room. On getting to the front desk, the lady at the front said the same. I had called the hotel prior to booking informing them that my 12 year old will be with us in the room and the lady who responded said that it’s absolutely fine but there would be a fee for breakfast which is completely ok. I explained to the lady that though I am ok to pay the extra cost, however, this was not the info I received from the call center. She then called a manager who took one look at my ( very tall 12 year old) and apologized and waived the cost of breakfast. Check in was delayed on arrival for almost 3 hours, when we asked for late check out, they were accommodating so no harm no fowl.

You should have landlines near the bar in the case we need to contact reception, since the cell phones connect to Jawal cell towers in case we need to contact reception instead of having to walk all the way. Everything is great, service, food, swimming pools, Dead Sea area,…etc. Except if you are lucky you will get super room, if not you will end in the old rooms. We stayed once in a big 2 floor room and paid more for sea view, unfortunately the room was old and need renovation. Though Marriott called and took my notes but we ended in the same room.

Marriot is one of my top favourite hotels in the Deadsea, the facilities, dining options and quality of the space are amazing. Yet, I have faced a big inconvenience, as they gave me a family room (which has a connected room) instead of a regular room, which honestly has zero privacy as you have a door to door room and you can literally hear everything from the other room. They offered us another room that was also NOT convenient at all too, it was 2 separate beds, although I booked for a king size room. The main frustration was that I have booked long time ago to ensure getting a room within my needs, yet the hotel staff were not collaborating and I ended up in a 2 separate beds room, which I didn't book

I was very happy to come back, i was here maybe 15 years back. I thought it’d be old and not renewed, on the contrary it was clean and the reception was great (especially mr. Excellent resort hotel along the Dead Sea coast. The private beach is very nice, slightly better than others. The resort is very large with many amenities. Food is excellent with lots of choice for all tastes. Staff were friendly and extremely attentive. Room and the hotel in general were very clean. Would recommend to anyone wishing to see the Dead Sea in comfort. Would stay again.
