Amazing!!

The people in this resort elevated the experience so much!!! The DJ (I think Sarah) is amazing, and a very special thank you and shout out to everyone who went above and beyond to make our stay worthwhile. Saleh, Faisal, Hassan the manager, Hamza at the pool, and everyone in between is so kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here for the pools, the food, the views, the vibes, and above all the great treatment from the staff everywhere. Thank you everyone!! The bed is comfortable rooms are clean, there are two main restaurants, but I think a malls also near by if you wanted more options. Great time!

We had a great stay, particularly due to the cleanliness of the room and the friendliness of the staff. However, the hotel swimming pool was under construction, so the main pool was closed, and I was not informed of this beforehand we could hear the construction the minute we got to the room as we were partial sea facing. We also tried lunch at the hotel, which was absolutely terrible (we have already provided feedback about this to them), so we decided to skip dinner at the hotel and eat at a restaurant outside instead. Overall, it’s a good hotel with functioning facilities, and it offers good access to the Dead Sea, despite being small.

Everything was amazing, starting by the check in process until everything else.
However there are few things I'd like to mention:
1- the beach is far and need to walk along way going down the stairs then going back up.

2- some showerheads were not working on the beach, I had sea salt in my eyes and had to walk to the far showerheads to clean up.

3- we had to order housekeeping stuff (bath robes and sponges) everal times before they send them.

4- this is just for future awareness, at the pools area the water drain was not in place correctly, it was lifted up a little bit, so I hit my foot while leaving the pool and there was blood everywhere and the had the medical stuff come and check on my foot.

Other than that EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT.

The food there is also very tasty and delicious.

Rude staff, refused to check me in

Staff were rude and refused to let me check in with my violin, which I often travel with as I am a professional musician. They accused me of violating “security protocol” and told me to keep my violin outside in the car, give it to their security guard for storage, or leave the hotel. I left and did not look back.

It seems that not much has been renovated in the hotel and it seems partly quite old, but at the same time very comfortable and clean. Friends and helpful staff, nice Beach and Pool area (even if some Parts were closed during our stay), great breakfast with wide range of food offered. We enjoyed our stay very much. Recommended to get a rental car as there is not much around the hotel.

My niece and I stayed at your hotel in July (19-23rd) for 5 nights and had a wonderful time, thanks mostly to the incredible hospitality of the staff.
They are all attentive, helpful and kind but I would like to specifically mention the receptionist Mohammed and give our sincere thanks. Mohammed not only upgraded our room on arrival (the room I originally wanted but was not available at the time of my booking), but he also aided us with every query we had swiftly and efficiently.
He also set up an in-house bespoke chauffeur service for us, with a wonderful driver Ibrahim whom he knew we would feel comfortable and safe with.

Overall, our stay at Holiday Inn Resort was a very pleasant one, with Mohammed being the greatest help to us, and therefore deserving of much recognition and credit.

The rooms— beddings, bathroom, wall were all stained and smelly, I don’t think staff changed the sheets even! Every single towel seems to have been used for decades and are all stained as well. Water of most pools, especially ones children are allowed in, are very very dirty too. Breakfast and dinner buffet was sub par and again like you’re eating in the middle of a playground with water puddles all over the floor. Only good thing was it’s private shoreline of Dead Sea, which all hotels along that main road has anyway! Would not recommend given the pricing!

Marah and Obaydah at the reception were supper helpful. They helped us check in we were about 12 guests. Walked us through the facilities and services. Marah was so patient and friendly throughout the process. Had a smile on her face the entire time.

The staff throughout the resort were fantastic and supper friendly.

Very nice resort to experience the Dead Sea. The hotel was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was really good. The reception staff was very accommodative - they upgraded us when we requested for twin beds. The only inconvenience is that we were not allowed to have some McDonalds food and were forced to have it outside in the carpark (they scan your bags when you go in the hotel). Otherwise everything else was excellent.

The Holiday Inn left a lot to be desired. I rated it 2 stars only because it is on the Dead Sea.
The worst was the musty smelling water in the bathroom sink. My hands stunk after washing. I had to wash my hands and brush my teeth w bottled water it was so bad.
The bathroom has soap and shampoo bolted to the wall. There’s no face cloths and there’s a holder for an iron and ironing board in the closet but no iron or board. It struck me as a no frills economy hotel.
There was a nice balcony but no handle on the outside; you had to leave the door open if you wanted to sit outside.
A sign in the room said not to take the robes and slippers outside, that they were for the room only but there was no robe and no slippers.
One of the pools was not available as they are doing construction.
There’s nothing nearby so you are basically stuck eating the buffet dinner at the hotel. Although there were a lot of dishes, the food was mediocre.
The chain lock on the door was broken, paint was chipped… The hotel needs a lot of maintenance.
Summing it up, if you decide to stay at the Holiday Inn, don’t expect much.

The best thing about this hotel is its private beach and access to the Dead Sea. The views are amazing. It also has a large swimming pool which is well maintained, with lots of beds and space around it. The facilities in the room feel dated. The hotel experience was average, certainly not what you might expect from a 5 star hotel.

Rooms are all a bit tired but functional.
Pool areas are good and there is plenty of choice of areas.
What would be good would be a quiet area as all areas were playing loud and annoying music on a loop which started to get very annoying.
Dead Sea beach is good and sunset views from the bottom bar are beautiful.

After checking in after 4 pm we wanted to get to the beach and enjoy the first time at the Dead Sea and the beach access they have has everything you want. Including a great sunset. This property claims to be a 5 star resort. As such it advertise amenities such as multiple swimming pools and beach access to the Dead Sea. What they don’t tell you is that everything is closed after sunset. My family stayed there for one night and were very disappointed with the fact that when we arrived around 6 o’clock due to our flight being delayed we were not allowed to enjoy anything that we had booked this hotel for. Dead Sea and taking the kids swimming In the family pool. After a long day of traveling and nothing to do at the 5 star resort, I went out to grab some food because the baby was already asleep and we couldn’t go down the the restaurant. I was stopped at the entrance of the hotel when I returned and told that my family would have to meet me in the parking lot to eat since they don’t allow outside food in the hotel. After a very frustrating argument with everyone up to the shift manager, I had to fill out a release form and write down how many burgers and fries I had In the bag. Then they crammed it all in a laundry bag and had it sent to the room. This place was absolutely ridiculous in their logic and the staff that I dealt with was rude to me and my family on several occasions. I do not recommend this place.

Stay was excellent.The resort is sprawling and beautiful.Breakfast and dinner spread were amazing.They have 4 swimming pools and a private beach to float and putting mud on the body. Mr.Anas in the front office was very supportive and helped us.We stayed in a poolview room which was very nice.All the staffs were ever smiling and helpful.Only one thing we felt needs improvement is that there should be enough free drinking water supply.They put only two small bottles of water in the fridge daily.For any thing beyond requirements,one has to pay an exorbitant price.There are no provision store around to buy the same at a reasonable price.
Rest everything was very good and we enjoyed thoroughly.

This hotel has probably been a 5 star hotel once upon a time. But no longer. The room was quite used and not upgraded since 70s or 80s. Not very clean and the breakfast and dinner we had was the worst in the whole Jordan trip, vey low quality. They seem to focus on saving money rather than giving great experience. The girl at the desk Marah was very friendly and nice. This hotel has seen the best of days, time to renovate and make it worthy of the Holiday Inn brand.

The hotel was packed with guests. However, they did their best to accommodate us a huge family with 12 adults & 2 kids. They were excellent, specially Ahmed Al Arabi, Marah & Amjad. Thanks to them all for making our stay worthwhile. We used to stay @ the Marriott Resort next door, but we’ll change after this experience & we’ll return to the Holiday Inn Resort instead.

The Holiday Inn was perfect for our 2-day trip to the Dead Sea. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a free upgrade and we enjoyed a lovely sea view room that was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The WiFi worked very well, too. The Dead Sea experience was incredible. There's a small area cordoned off that you can float in and plenty of mud to slather all over yourself. They do kick you out right as the sun sets, which is kind of a bummer later in the season when the sun sets early - same goes for the pools. Also, getting around the property is a bit of a process with all the fences surrounding each pool and area. The breakfast was plentiful, but we recommend heading across the street to the Meramieh restaurant to save a little money on dinner. Overall, we'd come back to this hotel if we're ever back at the Dead Sea. We had a nice, relaxing experience thanks to a comfortable stay and a great staff.

I have to say that the service was excellent, the staff were friendly and eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. However, I have to say that the room was slightly disappointing. I would have to say that they need updating, the shower curtain especially needs changing as there was black marks that did not look clean at all. Also there was no slippers or bathrobes provided, which we found lacking.

Poor condition, cleanliness and customer service

Disappointing bedrooms, in complete need of a refurbishment and better cleaners. The rooms are very old, everything seemed dirty (from a tiny to stains on furniture, dust on the floor, mould on an old bath mat etc.). The room is very uncomfortable. The resort is also very crowded, expect long queues to check-in. Staff wasn't the most polite people I have ever been served by. They did not make eye contact or greeted us, barely smiled and didn't seem willing to accomodate any request. Check-in at this hotel is just an admin process for Holiday Inn, no sense of Customer Service. The price of drinks purchased by the swimming-pool is exorbitant! The only good things of this hotel are: easy access to the Dead Sea, and the very good steakhouse.
