Positives: employees were nice, and agreed not to charge me for the extra bed since my reservation was for three and it wasn’t clear and Expedia didn’t charge me for the third person as they should have. They gave us a “upgrade” to a bigger room. The beds were comfortable. The beach was the best one I’ve seen at the Dead Sea because there are covered areas with chairs, even tho the chairs are just ok.
Negatives: pretty much everything else. Everything is old and falling apart. Breakfast is meh so didn’t try the other meals there. Cafeteria buffet atmosphere. Loud at pool, lots of kids and loud music. Bus down to Dead Sea is very third world. Bathrooms at Dead Sea are gross. Sliding glass doors in the room weren’t locked and required a handyman to come lock them so then we couldn’t open them again. Not clean. Towels are old and dingy.

Not very clear with the dining options available and different staff members tell you different times and places to eat. Even wanted to charge for a milk sachet to have a cup of tea in my room which was meant to be included. No information in the room about eating options either other than a room service menu.

This is a good modern hotel that suffers a little from its location, which is fairly isolated and away from other resort hotels. Nevertheless, the hotel is modern and well maintained, with two fantastic swimming pools - one with a water slide and a swim-up pool bar. Unlike some other resort hotels where you can walk to the Dead Sea, you'll need to take the free mini-bus shuttle instead. The hotel has its own car park, with plenty of free spaces. The room was very clean with a balcony offering a view of the Dead Sea. There was also WIFI access throughout the hotel. Dining options were okay, with a BBQ snack bar near the pool, the Sunset Terrace and the main restaurant that offers a dinner buffet for $15 JOD. Service in the restaurant for drinks was pretty slow and we finished our dinner before anyone came to take our drinks order. You should also be aware that this hotel did not serve any alcohol during our stay. Many other Dead Sea resort hotels do serve alcohol. Check-in was good, albeit they rigidly enforce the 3pm check-in time. However, you can use the pool whilst you wait to check-in and they provide free towels for you to use. Just make sure you've got your swimming gear on to make getting changed easier on arrival!

We got upgrade to bigger room so it was nice. The room has view of the Black Sea. We walked to the private beach which was a nice walk. Had a lot of fun on the beach. Great hotel and stay.

I enjoyed my stay at the Ramada very much. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The one thing I would change is adding water stations for free water around the hotel. If outside food and drink are not allowed, the least you can do is put out some sort of free water, so you aren’t having to spend 2 dollars for a bottled water.

I’m not one for leaving reviews but I had to on this occasion. The hotel had a terrible smell! The smell was inside and outside of the hotel including the room. The room was mediocre, expected better from the Ramada. The air conditioning wasn’t working even though it sounded like it was, there was no cold air coming out. The bed linen made us feel itchy and the floor was not clean. Not to mention there were flies everywhere! We found dead flies in the room and around the hotel. The food was expensive and terrible. There is nothing around and you’re not allowed to bring your own food into the hotel. We ended up checking in at another hotel the next night and had a fabulous experience there! Super disappointed - this hotel / resort was icky!

Classic example for a hotel which once has seen better days. We had a run down room and horrible bathroom. F&B Staff is in urgent need of training. Hotel beach was dirty and filthy. You are not allowed to bring food or drinks into the hotel but bar closed at 4pm. Public areas messy and not arranged for guests to enjoy. In urgent need to review their COVID-19 measures. Complained with management but no feedback.

You can reach the beach by a shuttle van, or take the long stroll, which is mostly paved until the packed sand for a bit before loose sand on the beach.

The pool area was perfect for the family!

Although the property is literally hidden and hard to find, the services they provide from the front desk to the staff are all high standard. The room was very clean and very comfortable.

The only one issue I did have, unfortunately: the vast majority of the room and the balcony had broken tile. Not like small parts here and there, but literally tile missing throughout the unit, tile that cracks as you walk on it, tile that moves up & down.. you get the idea.

Now even though there is no restaurants or stores within walking distance, they have a store downstairs and a restaurant, which had pretty good food. Prices of course will not be the same like the local stores.

I would definitely come back here again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, we were early for checking in and were given passes to use the facilities until the room was ready. There was a mini bus which took you to the beach so you could have a dip in the dead sea and have a mud bath if you so wished.
At dinner time when we asked about restaurants a member of staff escorted us to the buffet restaurant.

Nice clean hotel next to Dead Sea. Room with balcony overlooking the Dead Sea but nothing much around the area to visit part from the Dead Sea and outside including coffee house during breakfast one is not spared from being swarmed by flies. Nice swimming pools.

Low price is only strong point

Ramada at the Dead Sea has seen better days. The structure feels old and everything needs a deep deep clean. It is price competitive, but the more expensive Marriot, Hilton, and Kempinski are better value.

The Ramada is 600m from the Dead Sea. There is a shuttle bus, or you can walk the way down which feels like walking over the surface of Mars. Once at the Dead Sea the bay is subject to waves and choppiness - the hotels on the East shore have better beaches.

The rooms ending 43 (suites with view over the Sea are significantly better than the standard rooms if you must stay here at all.

Good hotel...for low budget

Overall, my stay was very good. The location of the hotel was way remote from the near by mall and restaurants. The reception guy was so polite and kind, and even offered me early check in. The room was ok, the down point is the cleanliness.
The pool was good, but the beach is 2 km away Which was bad, eventhough they have minibus for transportation which is free, However I could not find the driver.
Food was terrible and waaaay overpriced for what they offered, 20 jd per person for the buffet . So if u care about food quality skip this hotel.
But for the stay price.. You cannot complain
I paid 50 usd per night with breakfast included.

When we arrived to check in, I was told my booking could not be located even though it was prepaid. It did not take them long to call and locate my booking and room was assigned to us. We had a drink at the Hotel bar and the chap on duty was unfriendly and sour. We ordered room service. After waiting for 50 mins, I called them up to remind them. Another 20 mins went by and I went down to the reception and asked for our sandwich and burger. The manager was apologetic but it did not help our mood when the food finally arrived (after having to wait for 1.5 hours) and to find that that the French fries were cold and soggy plus a luke warm charred dried burger. Was disgusting.

-We paid for extra bed which was never given
-A/C didn’t work for 2 days(room temp was set to 15 Celsius but room felt like 40 Celsius)
- when booking thru ORBITZ we requested adjoining room but the hotel told none available though our arrival to hotel was 5 days after our booking. But after hours of suffering and complaints we were moved to adjoining rooms!
-Duty manager ( Mr. Alaa Darwish) never listened to my complaints.He was always ready to reply with executes and never to listen. Never heard single apology spoken from his side even as a courtesy. He and Mr Shadi( receptionist) had contradicting statements about why the AC was not working.
-food was below acceptable and lacked variety.
- we were told that children of 13 years old are free to eat but we were charged for the food ( didn’t notice till before check out)
-2nd day and while eating we were requested to pay the meal on the spot and they said it has to done right there and then( rude). The restaurant manager was looking so shabby and not dressed properly( his own clothes and taste) and he never asked any one how things are!
- we booked 2 rooms for 2 nights but I wish we chose a different hotel.
- Ramada( 4 stars they say!)had no decent customer service, the water kettle were so dirty that I took pictures of, room phones were not working or had cut wires, old TV sets and nonfunctional tv channels , face towels were available in one room and on the 2nd they were missing from both rooms & many more

A wonderful time by the Dead Sea

Spacious rooms, bed were incredibly comfortable, massage in the spa was fantastic (although not a private room - shared with one other lady but was a busy mothers day special and I booked last minute), dead sea was amazing, the room service process may need a little bit of work for times and combine the food and drinks line to be one. Abdullah at the front desk was lovely along with the gift shop lady. The hotel seems a little out of the way when you re driving there however as the neighbors are small farms there is basically no noise and great spot to have a relax and recharge! we stayed after an action packed trip to Petra and took advantage of most of the facilities which all were great!

First the room was dirty, walls were stain. The bathroom drain was blocked and clotted. The corridor smelled cigarettes. As the hotel is very far from everything, we ate at the buffet restaurant. The cost is very high (30USD) and they do not provide any drink (including water). I walked in my room to get my own water bottle... During the night, they air conditionner was not working properly and the room was terribly hot. The morning breakfast was empty at 9AM. The food left was warn (yogourt, juice, vegetable) or very dry (bread). No service was offered at the omelette station and after 10 minutes waiting, I asked a waiter if anybody could come. The cook arrived and as usual was rude and careless. This hotel as a huge sanitairy problem and staff competencies is very limited. I really don’t recommand to stay at that hotel. Pay a little bit more and you won’t regret it.

Such a high quality accommodation, I would expect to return the things what we forgot there. We forgot our coat there, I sent an email to the hotel - no answer, sent again - no answer again, I wrote on Messenger, no answer. I find this attitude outrageous! Our house key was in the coat, so the hotel caused a lot of inconvenience to us.

Lovely comfortable hotel by Dead Sea

Lovely hotel near Dead Sea. To walk to Dead Sea is down a private path and takes 10 minutes max (shuttle bus takes you for free). Rooms comfortable and great views of Dead Sea/mountains. Excellent buffet breakfast that starts at 6.30am and carries on till 10am. Two pools that are very clean and well maintained. I was there in February so hotel was not very busy. Really enjoyed my stay there for 3 nights.

Nice hotel not far from the Dead Sea. The hotel has various swimming pools and a half hourly shuttle bus which takes you to their private beach, a five minute drive away. The rooms are spacious and clean but quite noisy as there is a kind of strange open space which goes from the hotel lobby to the top of the building and this odd architectural feature creates a drum like effect which makes it very noisy in the rooms nearby. The beach itself is ok but the area next to it should be cleaned up as there is a lot of litter there. The food is a little overpriced but generally speaking as there is very limited choice in the area the hotel is ok. For British people think expensive Travelodge not Ramada and you get the picture.

A good budget choice at the Dead Sea

Not bad for a budget option, but you get what you pay for. Also the extras add up quickly. It’s quite removed from the resort area, which can be nice but also limits your options for dining outside of the hotel. No outside food or drinks are allowed, and they scan your bags, and the options in the hotel are very pricey. The Dead Sea is a short van ride away, they had towels, umbrellas and a shower there for guest use. We arrived during the weekend and the place was very busy with locals, which was a lot of fun. But if you are there when there aren’t as many people you can expect a notch down in the service, buffet meals especially. Overall it was great for what we paid, but if you really want a resort experience you might want to dish out the extra cash.

The hotel has gone Amazing transformation since I visited when it was as warwick. Ramada management need to be applauded for the change in everything in the hotel. The transformation of the swimming pools and adding the Kids pool with the water slides was great. The kids has everything they need in the indoor Kids club if they get board from swimming pools which never happens. Also the breakfast food buffet was improved 100%. Everything was tasty and good variety. They need to keep this up or improve it. I also heard from people staying in the hotel that the Dinner buffet was good we didn't like the last time we stayed in the hotel. The Service was great and the staff at the hotel are wonderful and very helpful we could not find anything to fault them. There was band playing in the night time that was good enough to stay in the hotel and not leave if you like to enjoy Arabic songs. The room was big and comfortable. It is very difficult to get my wife to like any hotel that is less than 5 start but she was very happy with the hotel and services and felt very comfortable with kids having good time. She enjoyed the sandy beach and Dead sea Mud and again there was bus to bring you to the beach in 5 minutes if you don't fancy to walk to the private beach for free. Everything was clean and proper. I would go again and this time I would book Dinner as well. The only thing is missing was maybe food for kids while they are in swimming pool like pizza or small snak.

The place needs some maintenance but service is good and so the food.
The location is quiet but the gardens and the way to the sea are quite uninspiring. The beach should be open early in the morning and closed only after sunset. We had always the feeling to miss the best moments of the day..

We had problems with the door key. The cards were not working and I spent more than half an hour in order to get into the room again. Furthermore, the hotel’s restaurant is ridiculously expensive. They charge 17 JOD per person for a buffet dinner where most of the food is below average and they charge ridiculous price for bier. A bottle of Corona (33cl) costs 10 JOD.

I did not like propert at all. Old and worn out. Elevators ran slowly or barely working. Pool is small and dirty. Friday is weekend in Jordan and hotel accept daily visitors to use pool facilities, therefore it was over crowded and mostly with kids. Same reason, no parking was available inside resort and my car was parked somewhere outside of the resort in secluded area. Beach is far away and it needs shuttle bus to get there. Beach ara is dirty with plastic bottles and soda cans everywhere. Towels are dirty and smelly. When came to the room, no single towel in the bathroom, tried to call reception room telephone was not working, caught the room service in the corridor and asked for towels. Until they brought towels tried the TV, remote is not working, asked room service to fix it. On the way out of room wanted to use safe, not working, called room service to fix. Small refrigerator was not working, asked to change. All be done but it took me 1 hour to spend the fixing the room. Some nuts and food remains discovered under he sink and already exhausted with all this crap and gave up. Horrible hotel!!!

On its way to greatness!

The staff of the Ramada Dead Sea was exceptional, treating a lone traveler like a queen. The restaurant located on the lower level of the hotel was delicious and ready to accommodate dietary needs. The room was always clean and orderly and the balcony was a luxury! The only criticism I would note was that the property is separate from the other resorts (which is a great thing for those who are looking to get away from others) and the private beach has a lot of garbage on it. Compared to the public beaches, they really could maintain it much better and make it drawing point for the hotel. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this hotel and my kudos to the check-in and restaurant staff!

Ok for a short stay

Probably the cheapest hotel with a private beach on the Dead Sea. However the beach is a 10 min walk away from the hotel and only open 8am until 6pm, there is a shuttle bus which runs every half hour. The beach itself looks to be in the middle of development as is the surrounding area, it's a rocky beach with 1 purpose walking strip of sand down the middle. They do provide dead sea mud, which was a plus.
I had a standard room which was large & the bed was massive too.
Negatives were that the fridge didn't work, could hear a lot of noise from the corridors,food not that great for that great.
Also worth noting that Jordan is a smoker friendly place, and even my non-smoking room had 2 ashtrays in it.

Pleasent staff

After the initial concern over the situation in the neighbourhood of Jordan we were pleasantly surprised with the safety.
The hotel is nice but the staff was especially pleasant (Aheere, Firas, Omar...). The food was delicious and fresh.
The hotel is in a very good position, relatively close to the Dead sea (free shuttle included) and it has a nice pool. From my experience I can recommend the Hotel to everyone.

Bad surprises

We arrived at the hotel on a friday evening, just to find out that the only swiminng pool would be closed due to a event. According to staff that occurs most of the weekends.
As the hotel is near nowhere, the beach was the only option. Not that bad... Except for broken umbrellas and chairs
The worst point is: very loud music till 00:30h. The pool event was actually a weeding party and the hotel staff doesn't even care to give you a room away from the pool. Very junior mistake. Overhall experience: bad!!

I would stay away from this 4 (FOUR!!!) star hotel. You have to be quite hangry to have the same breakfast they serve the second time. Not all of the restaraunts are open leaving you with a few options. Happy-hour: only a couple of drinks are included in the half-price promotion - bottled Amstel (regular 8 dinars = 13 CAD) and something else of the same kind. Ridiculous! Not staying their again!

Food was delicious. If you are looking to relax, this it's ideal. Had gym, spa and beach is nearby. You can even get fresh mud from the dead sea. How awesome is that.

Its meant to be four star but felt like 2 star. The food , the cleanliness and even getting to the dead sea was a mission. Very disapointing and thankfully only booked one night- so the next we stayed in a real 5 star resort.

You get what you pay for

Considering the rates we got, I didn't expect much better than this, but service was truly horrible. The room was furnished for 1, although we booked for 2 adults (only one towel, no hand towels, one bottle of water in the mini bar, 1 Nescafe sachet, 1 mug, etc...) When we asked for more towels we were told that the hotel was out and that all the towels were in laundry. When we finally did get towels (an hour later) we got two pool towels. Pool side service was bad as well (non-existant actually); when we wanted to order something to drink we were told to go to the bar. Overall, not to be repeated, no matter how competitive the rates are.
