Room was clean but there was only 3 hangers in our closet (??) we could've use a few more to hang our clothes. Toilet seat was plastic and slides from side to side. Shower head needs cleaning - water wasn't coming out as well as it should due to come clogged holes.

Like: Hotel is in a very convenient location with lots of nearby shopping and dining options. (+++)

Property was very clean and had all the basics. Our toilet shower did leak water out, but was not a big thing.
The aircon was cold enough and it is central to walk to Madaba Town area which only took 10 mins. Convenient and friendly staff. Breakfast could improve abit more but overall was great

The photos of this property are very deceiving. This place is very run down. I am surprised it’s as highly rated as it is. The room is bare bones and very dated. We didn’t have the breakfast since we had an early flight the next day. We picked this hotel mostly for location and it as perfect. Walkable to all the madaba sites and many great places to eat nearby. The hotel staff was great and arranged for an early morning taxi to the airport it was 20 JOD cash directly to the driver. If I was staying for more than one night I’d find a most comfortable airport but it was good for the one night stay

A very welcoming place to stay particularlyif you’ve had several accomodations to compare it with. Very plesant staff. Catholic church is walking distance which served me well to catch a 7:00 am mass before our flight out. Mt. Nebo is a short drive. Parking is right around the hotel across the main building. Breakfast is sufficient. Grab some sweets from the shop nearby. You’ll be sorry if you don’t .

The hotel has been tastefully renovated. A pretty good accommodation choice when visiting this town famed for its Byzantine mosaic floors and collection.

This small city seems to have seen its better days, but it has made me appreciate more what they have to offer.

Superb Example of Jordanian Hospitality & Welcome

The staff treated us like royalty. This is a family run hotel that is amazing. The room was large and clean and the bed was comfortable. We even had a small balcony. The hotel was a mere 5 minute walk from St. George's and the heart of historic Madaba. We had a 15 minute drive out to Mt. Nebo.
The breakfast buffet was excellent and we ate in the hotel restaurant for supper and had traditional Jordanian mansaf that was worth the trip.
Better than all this was the service offered by the staff. If I ever lead a group to Jordan, this is where we will stay.

Spent one night and was reluctant to leave. On arrival we realised there was a bar with a pool table. Our room was clean and bed comfy, bathroom looked new. We had a balcony facing the main road. Breakfast was included, it was delicious with a lovely selection to choose from.

Unfortunately we didn’t get to see the sites available but it’s a walkable area. We went to MacDonalds across the road because we arrived late in the evening. We would definitely want to return and stay longer.

Right in the middle of downtown. Close to the three sites most tourists go to in Madaba. Parking is in the adjacent street. Pretty good breakfast spread. My TV just could not work. Management offered to move us to another room but for just one night, we declined. New construction and very few people speak English there.

Perfect spot as our stopover in Madaba. The location is on a somewhat busy street but it was perfect location for walking to all the areas of interest. So we enjoyed that. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking is in open lot in side alley but worked very well. Overall great value for the price.

Lovely stay to start our holiday in Jordan. Arrived 11.30pm with no issues at all and night porter even found us some food. A beer available too, relatively unusual in Jordan. Room good although shower pretty basic. Good value stay though. Convenient for town centre too (nice town and plenty to see).

Phenomenal stay

Amazing. There's also a bar in the hotel that serves alcohol and some very satisfying artichoke dip. We were actually at a different hotel that was the same price and it was so bad that we just abandoned that place and ate the cost, and paid for our remaining nights at Mosaic City.

Very pleased with this hotel stay, staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was nice with a good range of local food. Having their own car park was a bonus and it was convenient to walk into Madaba centre. We used this as a base to visit the Dead Sea, Jarash and Petra. Bed sheets and towels were good and free bottled water was replenished every day.

The owners & staff of Mosaic City Hotel were so warm and attentive to customers' needs. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Rooms were very clean. We were blessed that the hotel was just 30 minutes away from Mt. Nebo where Moses lived out his final days and saw the Promised Land. It had other nearby known churches and was close to the airport.
Highly recommended.Can't wait to go back to this hotel again.

Lovely family run hotel, stayed one night at the start and end of our Jordan trip so to be near the airport.
Breakfast perfectly nice and adequate and good little bar for relaxing in.
We struggled to find our way around Madaba easily in the car using printed maps as street names are non-existent when you actually arrive and many streets one way. This made finding the hotel difficult from the airport side, easier coming from the south along the Kings highway. Ended up using google maps which is not cheap in Jordan.
Some tourist hotel signs would really help, but this is not the fault of the hotel, just a heads up if you are in your own car.
The car park at the side of the hotel is fine with room on the street if full.
Great mosaics, shops and food in Madaba, warrants a full day’s exploration before moving on.

It is very near to Madaba’s attractions and the town center of souvenirs shops. The checking in process was very smooth and fast despite us arriving in the middle of the night.
There was a confusion about whether we get complimentary water bottles every day or just on day 1 but it was cleared up at the end.

The small hotel in the town centre of Madaba, a 20km and 30-minute drive west of Amman International Airport, is within an easy walk to the Church of St. George with its mosaic map of Israel/Palestine and 8km/20-minute drive to Mount Nebo, the memorial site to Moses. The non-smoking, no pets and clean hotel has its own car park by the side of the building. Spacious and comfortable guest rooms offer no tea/coffee making facility whilst visitors from outside the hotel are only permitted in public areas. Free Wi-Fi and an acceptable buffet breakfast were provided at this cost-effective venue. Customer Service was satisfactory. Cash, Visa and Mastercard are accepted for payment.

A trip into a typical Jordanian town. Lots of hustle and bustle. Walking distance to all the major sites, but we found the best mosaics on mount Nebo. Private gated car park on waste ground next to the hotel. Our major problem is navigating in Jordan. Road signs are few and far between

Mosaic City Hotel was a gem, an amazing value for the money. It has been the best place we have stayed in Jordan so far. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance of all Madaba has to offer. The rooms were very clean, the beds comfortable and the staff was fantastic. The hotel has an onsite bar and restaurant, both with a very nice atmosphere. The drinks were spendy, but they are everywhere in Jordan. This place was a great value for the money and I would highly recommend it to anyone going to Madaba.

The staff were very helpful in every respect, helped with car hire and booking taxis, even allowed additional time on room whilst waiting for hire car to be delivered. Can not fault the place. The Madaba travel organisation arrange daily trips to all the nearby tourist sites and the trips are reasonably priced

This family run hotel has a great location for exploring Madaba.
Across the street from the most AMAZING chicken shewarma we had on our entire 2 weeks in Jordan. We popped into other hotel bars which were completely deserted, and this one had a few folks some evenings, plus its nicely rehabbed.
The rooms are small, spartan. The breakfast buffet small but adequate. Wish they rotated some of the items, as after 5 nights we were really tired of the same items at bfast. Wifi was of decent strength. Having a coffee/tea maker in the room would have been great.

We arrived Jordan late evening, but the staff at Mosaic were welcoming, friendly & helpful. Our room was very nice, super clean, & although for our backs the mattress wasn't perfect, we spent a restful night. The hotel is an 5 minute walk to the beautiful mosaics & could be a great place to stay if going to Jerash. We had booked our last night in Jordan to stay there also, but illness prevented us at the last moment from traveling to Madaba. The hotel was totally gracious & didn't charge us for our late cancellation.

Great stay for overnight near the airport

Madaba is a great place to stay for a late night arrival or early morning departure for the Amman Airport and the Mosaic City Airport is a great little gem. It is family run with very friendly staff and a good breakfast in the AM. My wife got up early to use the gym---i never do.
The hotel is 30 minutes to/from the airport but is also worth the stay to see the famous map mosaic at the St George Orthodox Church
