It looked like the property was desolate for a long time and just made enough improvements in the rooms to open for this weekend. It needs a lot of upgrading so I understand why the price was so low. We didn’t get new towels any of the days air-conditioning worked the tub in the shower was not that clean clean enough to take a shower though good enough to sleep in for three days.

The Dennys restaurant was closed. No breakfast. The pool was green and not maintained, weeds all over. The room needed updates. The bedsheets were clean. The floor was soooo dirty our feet/socks were black.
I'm 77 yrs old and have traveled quite a bit and sorry to say this is the worse one I was in.!

Bad location, run down area, was warned by locals that lots of drug use happens around the hotel. Heard people screaming threats overnight from the sidewalk. Everything in the hotel looked run down and dirty. Front desk clerk was nice and changed our room without complaint when the first one reeked of cigarette smoke. Shower was stained, room was grimy, there was garbage left behind the bathroom door when we checked into the room. Overall unpleasant stay.

this is by far the worst place I have ever stayed. I have traveled 3rd world countries that were better than this. the room stunk. the halls were worse. the pool was green and had things growing in it. it has not been useable for a very long time. there is wiring run exposed everywhere. when you ask the staff for something they ack as if you are putting them out. the homeless that are walking around the place wouldn't stay there.

This hotel is NOTHING like the description! DO NOT BOOK!

No amenities, the pool is rotten green, property in disrepair, and room smelled like drugs.

I turned the key back in politely, showing the pictures of what I booked, as the place was not safe in a number of ways. They refused to cancel the stay.

A dishonest, unsafe dump. Also, not owned by Ramada or Wyndham.

Gunshots rang out in the neighborhood as we left.

We checked in went to the room and immediately went back to the deck and told them we could not stay at this property. The rooms smelled like smoke, there were rodent traps all over, the stairwell smelled of urine, there were broken railings and the pool looked like it had not been opened in years. There was no way we could stay there with our children so we booked another hotel.

Dirty bathroom. Still have rug on bottom 6 inches of the wall and lvp floor. Bathroom body wash was out. No soap for sink. Smelled like a dispensary. Air conditioning sounded like a jet engine when it turned on. Had a room bordering road so I could listen to cars all night.

All for $190 a night. Brutal.

Well first of all I booked a room with a pool view. Upon arrival to the hotel I was informed that the pool was broke. Had I known this ahead of time I would not have booked there. It did not say anywhere on their website that their pool was broke. Second of all the check-in person accidentally charged my credit card $3,000. My room was already paid for Via Expedia. The only credit card information he needed what for accidentals and he charged at $3,000 on accident. Then he refers to charges showed me the text message of it being reversed. Thirdly the coffee and the breakfast room was terrible. Their breakfast hours are only from 6:00 to 9:00. If you're traveling I'd like to sleep in you don't get to experience the breakfast.

Pool is green . Rooms are dirty and beyond livable even for moments . Requested a refund after paying due to dried blood on lamp shade roaches on the floor . Mirror hanging from door and tub brown in color from some kind of stain . Was told at the front desk I would get a refund then later company emailed me saying I would not with an explanation of nothing was going on in hotel . The A/C worked. The room was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable - the bed linens and blankets were very nice. The frig was clean and functioned just fine. The shower worked fine and there were plenty of towels. Bathroom could use a paint job.

This is a biggest JOKE I have experienced with Expedia. That place is complete wrack . We entered is after we wondered if the motel is even open. No gust cars in the parking lot (that is complete disaster). Inside even worse. Everything is in disarray, mold on the walls dirty lobby (if it even can called like that). After exchanging few sentences wit a 'clerk' at the desk we run away because the place looked worse than homeless shelter. I had long conversation with Expedia representative and only thing I got is a promise that her supervisor will call me to discus the options of resolving the problem. This dunp should NEVER EVER be listed in Expedia . Don't you guys have ANY quality standards! Shamefull. I still can't believe what we experienced.

I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay at the Ramada Inn in Rome, NY. The first issue was that the photos used on the hotel's website are outdated and misleading. The pictures prominently show a Denny's Restaurant attached to the property, but the restaurant is no longer there and has been sitting vacant for quite some time.

The condition of the room was also unacceptable. Although I specifically booked a non-smoking room, it had a noticeable smoke odor upon entering. There were cobwebs around the windows, something splattered on the door, and the overall cleanliness was questionable. I found hair in the shower, and to make matters worse, a used towel was still hanging on the back of the bathroom door when I arrived.

Security and comfort were also concerns. The room door did not lock properly when leaving the room, which left me uneasy about my belongings. Additionally, the walls and doors seemed paper-thin, making it easy to hear every conversation and noise occurring just outside the room.

The complimentary breakfast was another disappointment. There was only a single waffle available, a small portion of eggs, some cereal, and yogurt—not nearly enough food to accommodate the number of guests coming down for breakfast. What was most concerning, however, was watching an employee smell the milk jug to determine whether it had expired before putting it out for guests.

Also the pool was not open post Memorial Day.

Overall, this stay fell far below expectations.

Went to front desk to complain regarding room a lady speak with front desk man was complaining regarding her room requesting a refund. I asked her what was issue with her room she showed me a picture of bed bugs. I then asked man for refunded regarding my room he said he would give me another room. I said no I would like to be refunded after seeing picture lady showed me with bed bugs. He said I would need to contact Hotels.com to get refunded. After settling up with gentleman at the front desk I immediately called my credit card and filed a complaint. I will never use Hotel.com again . Or recommend staying at Ramada Inn in Rome New York.

In town for basketball tournament we got to the room Walk in room dropped our stuff and we’re out the door, first look the room looked decent, didn’t get a chance to check the bathroom till we got back at 10pm. Once we got back we went to shower, only to find out we wouldn’t be showering in that bathroom with the condition of the room. After debating for 20 minutes we decided to just check out and make the 3 hr drive home. The jointing door in our room wouldn’t fully shut. So that felt unsafe.

Disappointing. Not at all as depicted on the website. We booked this hotel for its proximity to Fort Stanwix, a National Historic Site. The common areas were filthy, the hallways smelled. The bathroom had built up grime on the floor, rings of built up gunk around shampoo and soap bottles on the bathtub shelves, missing robe hooks, and a broken plunger in the sink so it wouldn’t drain at all. There were a homeless people traversing the property through the night, yelling and causing a ruckus. We had marijuana smoke drifting into our room all night through the bathroom ceiling vent. Road noise throughout the entire night from traffic and emergency sirens at least 6 times. The breakfast was a dismal offering that we weren’t considering anyway based on the lack of cleanliness. No lids available for the coffee cups. I expected more for my $140.

I’m looking to get a refund couldn’t even stay there because the smell was horrendous and there was no heat when it was 26 degrees outside with a massive gap under the door where the wind was coming through. No concern, no apology. My company made the mistake of booking 5 rooms here. At the time of booking not realize this was a horriable hotel we thought a \"Windom\" property would be ok. Prior to arriving we noaticed the reviews. We attampted to cancel our rooms but they would not honor our request and kept the money. So we went there anyways because how bad could it really be right ??
We pulled in to a mostly empty parking lot. Vacant buildings all around and a for lease sign on the front lawn of the property. I imagine a dennys was in the front half of the hotel at one time. I noaticed crackheads walking around, what looked like deals happening in the parking lot and i could only imaging prostitution happening here.
We had large trucks and equipment with us. The hotel is situated downtown Rome and is in a what felt like an unsafe area.
We chose to take the loss so we would not loose any equipment or have anything broken in to and went to a different hotel.

I RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT ATTEMPT TO STAY HERE.

Bathroom wasnt very clean, water knobs on the tub were loose and water seemed to be pouring into the bottom of the liner of the tub so it was like stepping on a big water balloon while trying to shower and not fall. The guest next to my room were up until 430am partying all night. The beds were hard as a rock. This definitely wasnt a very good experience. I wont be staying here again.

I would not stay here ever again. If I wasn’t so tired and had any other choice I would have left right when I shut the motel door. That’s when I noticed the safety door lock was broken and one of the hinges. The tub faucet leaked all night long. (I never used the tub, like that on arrival). The room was supposed to be non-smoking and it wreaked if smoke.

The hotel itself does not match the pictures of the room. It is very rundown. The bathroom shower had hairballs on the shower wall upon check-in. The \"lobby\" smells like mildew. The stairs to our room (no elevator I am aware of) smells like mildew.
We tried to book a different hotel at an additional cost, but everything in the area was booked. The officer in the parking lot told us \"well, we don't get too many calls here, you should be alright\". Should have realized the $100/night was a hint.

My daughter and I had concert tickets for a show a mile or two away. The day OF the show, this dump called and told me they couldn't give us a room. Fifth rate business. I did not stay in this hotel on 8-20-2025, it wasn’t up to our standards. The Ramada needs a facelift. False advertising, the photos online does not indicate the property, Not only that when the lady was showing us the room and we told her we didn’t want it. She still charged me $45 and im still waiting on Hotels.com to reimbursed me the cost of the room for that night. We were very disappointed. We had to find another room to stay that night. They cost me an additional $250.

The overall room was clean and the bed comfortable. However the room closet was Disgusting with Mold halfway from the left of the closet to the middle with black-grey blue Mold with a terrible odor. We couldn’t use the closet and only stayed in the room as it was late and we were exhausted! Bathtub was filthy, sheets were stained, several things in the room were in disrepair, walls are paper thin so could hear everything from neighbors, no breakfast as advertised, bed was hard

I do not recommend

2 lamps didn't have bulbs in them. The toilet was dirty between the seat and the tank. And I stepped on what turned out to be a piece of broken glass on the rug beside the bed

This property SMELLED SO BADLY, especially in the hallways which were TOTALLY DISGUSTING and SUPER HOT. The rooms were also smelly but seemed to go away with time. I would like a refund for my stay. The staff was decent the AREA the hotel is in is scary. I didn't even take a shower the morning I got up that's how bad things were. I do not advise anyone to stay there let me know who I can contact about getting a refund for my stay.

Needs some attention!

The room was clean and comfortable. We had to change rooms because the toilet in our first room didn’t flush. Room two was good. The property overall is not very tidy. Weeds around parking lot and sidewalks, trash adjacent to building in the parking lots, etc. the hotel is ok in a pinch but I wouldn’t stay here again unless other options aren’t available.
