The whole trip was tainted by the bait and switch done with our rooms. We booked and prepaid for a room with 2 beds. We found out, while trying to check in digitally, that queen beds werent available due to renovations, and that we were put in a room with a king bed and pull out sofa bed. If we had been informed of the renovations, we would have stayed at a different property. As it was, this almost 50 year old with a broken tailbone had to sleep on the very uncomfortable sofa bed. Unacceptable bait and switch on their part. Update your listing to accurately reflect your availability OR email ahead so we know.

Our room and service was great, however, the breakfast could use an upgrade. The bananas were over-ripe, brown sugar was hard, and eggs etc were just warm. The lobby coffee on my first morning was cold. Also cokes in the pantry were flat- I tried 2 of them.

Would have given better reviews but the staff at the front desk weren't helpful in any way and were just rude. We were supposed to have connecting rooms (clicked that option when booking) but once we arrived they said we couldn't do that and then put one of our rooms on the 2nd floor and one on the 3rd. I asked if we could pay more to make it happen and she shrugged her shoulders and said \"theres nothing i can do for you about that, we are fully booked\"... they indeed were NOT booked up - the 3 nights we were there, the entire parking lot had a max of 15 vehicles, 20 at the absolute most.

The hotel is slightly off the highway and a skosh out of the way. Not sure why, and surely not the hotel's fault, but Google Maps didn't seem to like their address. Took us down a road with no buildings and vacant lots.... wierd!

The breakfast wasn’t the greatest. They ran out of coffee before 9 it was never refilled then they took the coffee away so we never got coffee for the road. They need like cheese and salsa or something for the scrambled eggs you should have access to coffee all morning.

We had a wonderful time. We were a little further from the Erie Canal, about a half hour, but found it easily with GPS. The front desk gave us a great list of the restaurants in the area. My only complaint would be that the coffee at the lobby was often cold.

My room did not have an ice bucket or drinking cups in the bathroom. I requested both and it took forever to get the bucket. The front desk clerk was busy checking people in so she gave me 2 plastic bags and then pointed to the cups on the drink station and said “Take some of those”. I had an appointment so I had to leave before she found an ice bucket for me. I finally got it when I returned at 8 pm. It had been next to impossible to try and get ice just into the thin plastic bag. Oh well… a sad negative for a nice hotel.

I was \"upgraded\" from a 2 queen room to a king size suite WITHOUT being asked, because there were no queen rooms left.
That didnt work for me because I was with my teenager son... So I was given a roll in bed which was absolutely terrible. For anyone with bavk issues, do not sleep on this.
The room had a bad odor upon entering so we were.obligates to keep on the AC and Fan which made it extremely noisy and impossible to sleep continuously.
The breakfast was horrible. Very disappoiting overall. Won't return.

When we checked out after one night we had 3 charges on our credit card, equalling over $800.00. I called the hotel. They said, that’s because you used a third party vendor. So another call to Hotels.com., after no satisfaction on line . On hold forever. If using a third party is so terrible, why do you list your hotel on these sites ?

Great check-in experience!

We were not arriving until 9 pm and really appreciated being able to check-in via phone. We were able to give our $50 credit card hold over the phone, review our room amenities and get our room number. All we had to do was stop at the desk to provide a photo ID and get our keys. It was very convenient.

For the expensive price of about $300 we were given a mediocre very small room. Amenities include 1 small bar of soap, one make-up remover wipe and a couple of towels. The A/C was loud. Our stay was average and much less satisfactory compared to previous stays at Hampton Inns.

I congratulate your employees. Once a problem was sent in, they tried to fix the issues. One was a leaking toilet, the other a filthy divan which they tried to clean; but was too dirty. I was not offered a new room even when the phone didn't work. It was my last day there, and I had requested a wake up call, and it didn't work. It could have made me miss my plane.
