The room was ok. The hotel is an old facility. There is no elevator and our room was upstairs.
The hotel should not list a continental breakfast as they only put out apples and granola bars.
Our room had all kinds of sounds and very thin walls. The whole town in general is

The man at the desk refused to give me the room, claiming I had smoked in the room the last time I stayed there. I don't even smoke, so it was clearly an error. Then he refused to refund it, because I had booked it as non-refundable, expecting to stay. I had to contact Expedia. They called the hotel and got the refund. Don't stay here!

This is a very basic, but clean motel. There is no hot breakfast or cold for that matter. I think we did see coffee, although we didn't have any. There is a Denny's restaurant right next door. The room was clean and the front desk clerk was pleasant. We only stayed one night for a concert at the Saranac Brewery, so it was convenient and good for our needs.

It was the only Hotel available for the Utica boilermaker so we didnt have other options. I've never had a hotel call me to take the payment before arriving so that was an odd start. The room was fine for just the one night but we didn't even have a mini fridge so all of the water and protein shakes we brought for the race we couldn't make them cold. So if you get just a basic room you get nothing with the room and for the price we paid it was disappointing.

The hotel location was great, right off the highway and with lots of restaurants within walking distance and shops just a short drive away. Check-in in was easy and the people were friendly. The room was clean but had a funky smell. We were told breakfast was grab and go. It consisted of granola bars and apples only. No problem as restaurants were close by.

There was no one at the front desk when I arrived. I waited for about 10 minutes for the receptionist to arrive. My door handle to my room didn’t work well, had to push it up instead of down to open the door, then the door stuck so you practically had to body slam it to get it open. The desk had a slight coat of dust on it. The “breakfast” consisted of small store bought prepackaged donuts, granola bars and apples along with vending machine style coffee. Not worth my money to stay there.

The room air conditioner was poorly placed:blowing directly on us the entire time we were in bed. I had to sleep with the top sheet over my head. The zero-entry shower was not properly leveled, causing water to flow away from the drain and onto the bathroom floor. We were surprised how little was offered for breakfast. Thankfully, we had other options.

Booked a room last minute for 2 nights for a hockey tournament. Seeing the Wyndham name thought it was going to be decent. Front desk guy smelled of alcohol. Should have been my first clue to leave.

Reluctantly stayed one night as we arrived late in the evening and had my 3 young girls with me that neede to go to bed.

Entire building smelled like marijuana. Dogs barking in room next to us. Bathroom was in disrepair, Toilet seat not attached to toilet! Heater/AC unit not functioning properly.

Immediately booked a different hotel in the morning. Staff was not cooperative with providing refund for second night.

Would never stay there again. Stay away!!!

Future Travelers need to know: This Days Inn is not family friendly. There was a sign on the door from the lobby to the rooms that said "This door locks at 12am for the safety of our staff". What about the safety of your guests!?!? Apparently my family was staying on the dangerous side of the door. Other occupants were rowdy until late in the night. Lots of alcohol and possible drug use in other rooms. It was very possible, but unclear if the motel was doubling as a homeless shelter. The room itself was problematic as well, newly renovated BUT the renovations were cheap, vinyl floor buckled underfoot, the toilet wobbled terribly, and the heat wasn't even on when we arrived in the middle of a snow storm. Continental breakfast consisted of an apple and a prepackaged chocolate donut. We booked the room in a rush when we forced off the highway in a snow storm. I wish we had made a different choice. Don't stay here, just don't.

Had a suite located right at entrance and exit of the building we’re all night. We heard the door slamming till 1 o’clock in the morning then started again at four when people were leaving. We had literally no sleep. This wasn’t because the people slammed slam the door. It was because the door closed that way, so it wasn’t that people were throwing the door. Heater /air conditioner was disconnected from the wall so the cold air from outside was coming into our room. We had another day to stay there, but the conditions were so bad. They do not have a room to change it and will probably not get my money refunded. we have heard nothing from management.
