Overall this is a great option for a comfortable, safe hotel in the area. Some of the rooms are starting to show wear so a more regular review would be helpful (paint, appliances, etc). The power went out while I was there (snow storm so not the fault of the hotel) but I was surprised that there were no emergency lights in the room and apparently no back up generator. Generators are a necessity in that part of the country so an investment in that equipment would be important. Since I was in an ADA compliant room it is crucial to have emergency lights for those with mobility issues. The staff was friendly and I would stay here again. Just a little more attention to details, especially in winter, would be wise for this location.

Room 409 - trap under bathroom sink was leaking. Manager brought towels, said she would have maintenance come to look at it. We went out at approx 1030am, returned at 330pm. Still leaking. Front desk said maintenance man out with flu will be back tomorrow-sorry. I HAD to ask for a room change. Seems to be a lack of concern for customer comfort. Very poorly run hotel.

We LOVE staying here. We usually stay in a suite with our daughter and granddaughter. Having 2 bedrooms and a central room is perfect! The pool is always welcoming, breakfast is probably the 6 year old's FAVORITE! Having a kitchen available is certainly helpful also with a 6 year old. Rooms are clean, comfortable and we stay here often!

Misleading description of the room

Booked a one bedroom suite with a sleeper sofa for three adults. Turned out the king bed was not in a separate bedroom. The sleeper sofa was positioned to open up against the foot of the bed so very inconvenient for everyone. Hotels.com may be responsible for the inaccuracies - seems to have gone downhill in the last few years.

We stayed in 20 some hotels on our Colossus of Roads Trip and this was either the Best or in the top three. The room was perfect four our group of four — two bedrooms with great beds and pillows, a kitchen and sitting area, three TVs and so many plugins at bedside. Breakfast was great, there were plenty of choices (including Nutella) and if you didn’t get everything charged in your room, there were more plugins in the breakfast tables!

I was in town apartment hunting and needed a place just to crash last minute. They are remodeling so the place was a little bit rough. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast I guess I was expecting something different but I have specific health needs and so my options were limited. For standard diets it’s adequate but nothing special.

Those at the front desk were friendly and welcoming. Also the one that was taking care of the continental breakfast was friendly and helpful and a good variety of food. My room was clean, comfortable and convenient. The pool area also clean and cute. Hotel overall is clean, excellent and a quiet area. I'm glad I chose to this one for my stay. Highly recommend!

I called the hotel to see if I can bring my children to go to the pool I was told that it was fine when I arrived I was told the pool was open and by the time I went to my room to change came back down I was told the pool was now closed due to an isssue I then waited till morning to talk to the manager Courtney and I asked her why did she tell me the pool was open when it wasn’t she proceed to say well my employee told me you had children with you who was not on the room… which was never stated that I couldn’t have children with me and she put $150 hold on bank card and told me it was only suppose to be $20 hold so I believe this was all discrimination and made it a horrible stay for me and my children

Random charges on my card. Scam

This place charged my card extra. Stayed there for one night. A few days after my stay I get a charge for $30 to $40. Never broke or stained anything. Got in the hotel late, fell asleep, woke up and left. We didn’t even use the shower!! Rip off will never ever go back.

Rooms and bathrooms were clean. The free breakfast was very poor quality with few options and the food service and eating areas were filthy. The staff was very curt with everyone I heard them speaking to. The linens and pillows were not comfortable but the mattress was fine. For what they charged it felt like we didn’t get enough of a value.

Nice out of the way surprise !

Found this last minute gem and was pleasantly surprised. Nice reception and room. We enjoyed the perfect temperature indoor pool and comfortable furniture.
Breakfast was different than what you usually see but good. Not right near the highway but worth the trip. Will stay again on one of our trips from Ohio to family in Maine.

Great stay at the Marriott, I'd go there again

When I couldn't find the place on my GPS, the person gave clear directions to where it was located. When I met the person I spoke at the front desk, he asked me what floor I would like and I said first floor and it was only a few doors down from the front desk which was very thoughtful of him. I wouldn't have to lug my bags a long distance from the parking lot. He told me the pool hours and when breakfast was served and was very amiable and friendly. The other staff members were equally kind and courteous.

Fire alarm snafu

Room was quite small -night 2 -the fire alarm went off at 3am which necessitated the entire hotel to be vacated in 30 degree weather for a period of 40 min —super irritating but staff was nice —and I was pleased that when asked for a review was compensated $100 for the inconvenience

We stayed in a suite with 2 bedrooms the kids had fun, rooms definitely need an upgrade tvs are really old and we had alot of issues getting them to work. Carpet was frayed and in the bathroom the walls were patched and they never painted over it, it was just white spots, blankets on the beds were frayed and had random strings on the end. We had fun and most issues were cosmetic nothing that effected the fun we had but for the price things shouls be bettee up kept

The rooms are so small that when sofa bed is open, there is not even an inch between the bed and the sofa. Very inconvenient when Marriott sells it as a room for 3 people (we were travelling with our 15 year old daughter). Also, the sofa bed was very poor quality to sleep on, even for the 15-year old. The air conditioner was making very loud noises all night kicking in and stopping intermittently.

Overall Townplace Suites is fine, the mattress on one side of the pull out was not sanitary, not the side you’d sleep on, but I saw it and so I pushed it right back in to the couch position.
When I arrived, they were doing parking lot maintenance during a high peak travel time and so is EXTREMELY inconvenient and not enough spaces for everyone staying and we’re so packed in that I just hope no one hits my car! Plus we have to have all our vehicles moved to the opposite side of the parking lot by 8 am
I can only imagine what this is gonna like like at 730am!! If I had known this, I would have looked elsewhere!
Lastly, the biggest issue was check in. I booked through Expedia and when I arrived they said they could not honor my booking as they are over booked and I was on some call list, but she didn’t have my number! Expedia didn’t share my number?? What! And how is this even possible?? If Expedia is booking for the hotels, they best have the most accurate information! Imagine if I didn’t check in til dark! Or late!!! I’d be sleeping in my car!
At best, this hotel is nicer than sleeping in my car but it is off my list of places to stay at.
I will end this review with the staff has been super incredible and pleasant and even though I was super annoyed at the check in issues, Tricia was amazing and kept her cool and was funny in an appreciated by me way. She was wonderful and tried other hotels for me and as I was leaving a cancellation happened,So I got a different room

Was definitely a suite with refrigerator and stove top and room was good size with enough closet and drawers for comfortable extended stay. Room was very clean and modern and tv selections including Netflix was a nice way to wind down the day. Will stay here again for sure! Thanks!

The room was perfect & service was great. The drawback for the stay was that there was a youth basketball & hockey team there who were running around and goofing off in the halls making it hard to rest.

The guests upstairs were very loud from the time we checked in until we’ll after 1am. Management did warn them a few times, but the loudness continued. My two young boys did not fall asleep until late and as a result, they were very tired the next day.

I cannot use my Bonvoy app because every time I send documents to get my account last name changed to my married name, they don’t ever do it. So I don’t get credit, points, etc. for stays and can’t use the conveniences of the app.

Nice Experience

The front end staff were very engaging and warm. The air conditioning in the room was sub-par as the hotel was rather warm. The breakfast was substantial and the pool was very nice. The 14\" televisions scattered throughout the hotel were the only drawback.
