Stopped in July 2025. This is no longer a Motel 6. Expedia did refund my money. Arrived at night to a very dark location with no signage or lighting. Went inside and the employee told me I can cancel with Expedia and just pay him directly to stay. I immediately went out to my car and left. This should be removed from Expedia.

Horrible Never Again

Walking into the building the grate in the door way would buckle down and make a loud noise. They mentioned juice in AM and there was nothing. We found a bug in our room. The window did not lock and there was a message about for our safety when in room locking deadbolt and the door stopper.

Although the staff was super friendly and accomodating, the facilities were not the cleanest. They staff did let me change rooms when the first was unacceptable, but 2nd wasnt much better. The hallsways smelled like cigarette amoke covered with pine sol. For a quick night stay in a pinch, it was ok, but we will probably look elsewhere if we stay in the area again.

We stayed in Oriskany specifically to be on our way to viewing the solar eclipse the next day. So, for us, it could have been less impressive, especially at the low price we got (while everything else was $800/night). It was Canine Central that night, which was great, since we travel with 2 dogs. What was particularly impressive was that when we complained about the something not working, the manager explained that we hadn't used it correctly (and he was right), but then gave us a discount, anyway! That night, there was a smell in the hallway when you'd leave the lobby area turning left, moving passed the door marked Hotel Manager. I think it's because the garbage can is there, and maybe people were depositing dog waste there. I'm sure it was an unusual situation due to so many traveling on a budget with pets for the once-in-a-lifetime solar event.

So this morning as I went to grab a towel to dry off , opened the towel and found a large bug rolled up in a pile of hair. Beyond nasty . Towels are already not that clean then to find this little surprise . Should have payed attention to the negative reviews . Avoid this place if you can .

Mattresses were decent. Pillows need to be replaced. Shower head had very good pressure and temperature was very good. Place is in need of major overhaul. Stairwell was dirty. In the morning, there was a pile of garbage in the hallway. Overall, if I had to stay there again, I might just choose to sleep in the car at a rest area.

Our room was gross. The bathroom is the easiest part of the room to clean and there was toothpaste spit all over the sink faucet and the shower was full of black mildew and random pieces of hair. The white towels were grayish and stained. The chairs were all stained. We were so grossed out we just left.

Traveling with my dogs and I just wanted a cheap pet friendly place close to the highway. This place was all that except it was filthy. Clean towels but would it have killed you to wash the sink. The bed was like a covered cardboard box but the sheets were fresh. Do yourself a favor pay a bit more and get a place that can afford soap.

Not a Good place to Stay. Over priced for the condition and upkeep (If Any) of the place. Smell was Horrible... Garbage stacked up in hallways next to very Dirty, Leaking ice machines. Dirty towels and linens were piled in hallways.
NO ELEVATOR to get to 2nd Floor. Stair well reaked and had filthy Dirty concrete. Didn't dare touch the Handrails. Room smelled of Bleach and Stale Dirty clothes. Bathroom was Horrible. Floors had hair and dirt from previous occupants. Walls had either dirt or mold. The room floors were dirty and Sticky and the window latch didn't Lock.
I wouldn't recommend staying at this place even if it was last room available. I would much rather Sleep in my car at a Thruway rest stop.
All Around Bad Place.

This is one of the worst places I have ever stayed. Check in was unprofessional- the fire alarm went off every few hours the whole night- the toilet ran non stop- to a maid knocked o. The door 30 min before checkout. After getting no sleep. Would never recommend and a refund would be appreciated.

This facility was not clean. The only facecloth was filthy as though it was the floor rag. The grout in the bathroom tiles wasn’t clean. There was grime on the toilet paper holder and dust on the mirror ledge.

This led me to check the bed for bugs. Thankfully, none.

I would joy recommend it.

The driveway has many pot holes, bathroom has someone’s left over soap on floor by toilet, drapes falling down on one side and huge cobwebs by windows behind drapes, sheets rumpled, no drain cover in tub.

Good part of the place was the quiet. That was super.
But unable to recommend to anyone.

Forget about a goodnight’s sleep. Like a dormroom.

Pictures were quite deceiving. This was definitely “motel” not hotel “quality”. It wasn’t bad, per say and the bed was comfortable (although the pillows were MUCH smaller than in the pictures). But it felt like I was staying in a dorm room—looked like one—and to boot, I woke up twice from the person in the connecting room (high as F) talking loud on his phone and then again due to the loud music.

The phone to the front desk wasn’t even working and my charger wouldn’t charge in the outlet (as it was, it was too far from the bed). You’re honestly better off paying the extra fifty or sixty bucks and staying in a hotel.

Cheap and everything that comes with it.

There were a lot of dirty spots in the bathroom. The comforter was stained and dirty looking. There were no pictures on the walls. They didn't clean the first night. The ceiling light in the bathroom has a speaker in it for some reason. The coffee is terrible. The other hotel guests were very loud, playing music late into the evening. Broken glass bottles littered the parking lot. Would not recommend.

The service desk the staff was friendly and accommodating. After I settled in the room I noticed the floor was not cleaned, the microwave and the bathroom sink. I did clean it myself except the floor. The staff asked if I wanted to change rooms and I refused. Other wise it was quite to get a good rest after working nights and coffee was greatly appreciated.

There was a broken crack stem on the floor in my room. There was broken glass everywhere. Empty pack of cigarettes on the floor as well. When I went to pay for the room he said it was already charged. And it was $20 more than the price through Expedia. I recommend finding a different hotel that costs $20 more than the price you’ll end up paying thst anyways

This pictures are fake. The Rooms didn’t look like that. When I checked in the front desk clerk had an attitude, no hospitality whatsoever. The room was ok but the bathroom was dirty. When we were taking a shower the tub was clogged so were basically showering while water weren’t going down the drain. Towels were stain. Need to do better.

I would not recommend this property as when we went into our room the bathroom had not been cleaned. The towels were stained, as was the bathtub. Bedding was fine though you would think they would at least ensure pillow cases were not completely wrinkled. The heat did not work. For some reason our room would not hold the wifi. First and last time for us staying in hotel 6. I’ve stayed in economy hotels but I’ve never encountered such carelessness.

I suppose you can't expect too much from a hotel that costs $90/night. The room was clean, though spartan, we brought our own towels as we were expecting tiny, thin towels from the hotel (which is what was supplied). We also brought our own blow dryer. There was a refrigerator and microwave. If you are simply looking for a place to sleep for a night, it's fine, but if you are looking for any nice amenities, spend some more and get yourself an upgrade.

Room smelled of a mixture of paint and pot. The heater smelled like burning dust. The bathroom has hair everywhere from back of toilet to tub and floor. There was hair stuck in sheets.
