Lovely hotel in great location

We loved our stay here. Lovely room with very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. We had a room overlooking car park but it was cooler than sea facing rooms. Good hairdryer but kettle only on request.
We enjoyed our breakfast and dinner with lots of choice. Only complaint was just one very slow coffee machine.
Pool area was lovely and very clean.

Pleasant stay in Bol

The hotel was very clean. Housekeeping was attentive. The pool area very clean and tidy. We had a sea view which was a bit obstructed. But still better than our friends who were facing the parking lot. Lots of restaurants close by to walk under the nice shaded trees. Breakfast was great. Lots of fresh variety and never too busy.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel room was very comfortable and the grounds were nicely kept. There was a wide food selection for breakfast. Beaches are a few minutes away and the town filled with great restaurants are only 15 minutes away by foot. Highly recommend this place.

This hotel is great, location is ideal, staff is helpful and friendly, and rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast was very good too.

We particularly appreciated the sustainability note in the room, the fact that you can do many activities nearby (cycling, windsurfing, kitesurfing, massages…) and the lovely staff.

Transferred to Elaphusa

We bookee to stay at bluesun borak but were transferred to bluesun elaphusa (so not sure how valid our review is). The hotel told us about the transfer several weeks in advance so gave plenty of notice, the two hotels are nextdoor so the change made no difference to our plans. Hotel elaphusa was excellent and we were very pleased with our stay!

The location of this property is great it is situated beachfront and is only a 15 minute walk from ferry port along the flat and a 10 minute walk to the famous beach. Check in was straight forward however we had to wait until 1400 to check in and the room wasn't ready until about 14.10 however we could leave our bags there. The hotel is a little bit outdated but is clean. The room was comfortable and had a balcony with table and chairs. The pool is next to the bar area and is clean. The pool however is quite cold but has plenty of sunbeds and parasols. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast which is excellent. There are cereals and continental cheeses and meats, along with a cooked breakfast, sausage tomatoes mushrooms bacon and a egg station offering ommlettes or eggs any way :) there is also a good selection of bread cakes and pastries along with hot and cold drinks. Breakfast is open 7am until 10am.

Wonderful Place.

We really liked the location, just steps to the beach. The beach bar serves the most delicious seafood, and drinks, and plays cool music. The buffet breakfast is one of the best I've had. There are so many items to choose from. Sure the place could do with an upgrade, but for the location you can't complain. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel was great however transfers from the hotel to the airport is a little difficult. I ordered a taxi TAXI CEZAR in Bol who ended up coming 30 minutes late plus he had to stop to refuel his car and in the end I missed my flight because of TAXI CEZAR on top of that he charged me through the nose for the trip.

Nice Friendly hotel near to beach and town

The hotel is located next to the beach and holiday facilities (scuba diving, tennis courts, boat hire etc). The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is good although more catering for German / French tastes. The pool area is excellent and with a bar and bar food located right next to it then it makes for a relaxing holiday.
5 minute walk into Bol which is very nice town with brilliant restaurants. Easy to hire a car or bike (hotel can arrange). Lots of available trips to other islands and mainland.
Good bus service to Suptar where you can catch the ferry, no need for expensive taxi's.

A pleasant hotel for a week in the sun

The hotel was pleasant with helpful reception and bar staff. Our room was comfortable and clean with a mini bar/fridge and balcony. The shower over the bath was adequate but not ideal. Breakfast had a wide choice of foods at a buffet. The staff were not friendly and the breakfast room noisy like a college refectory. Food was quickly removed at 10.00am so don't be late! The pool was nice with sun loungers and the entertainment staff worked hard for the children and adults. The hotel was ideally located about ten minutes stroll from both the town and the main beach.

Vacations to remember

Hotel location is amazing. Almost on famous beach and near the old town. This is the paradise for windsurfing and bike riding. Food is good, hotel and room is clean and service is fair. Reception service is very good. Nights are silent without loud music and noise. We wi'll come back for sure next year.

Great location for a stay in Bol

Only a 10 minute walk along a well lit paved walkway in to the town centre where there is a selection of bars and restaurants. Opposite a nice beach and 10 minute walk in the opposite direction to the main beach of Zlatni Rat.
Great swimming pool, although mattresses on beds would have been nice.
Good breakfast, but we didn't have half board. Pleased about this choice as there was a range of restaurants to go to, and the hotel evening meal has 2 sittings (starting at 6.30 or 8.15) which would have restricted us.
Special thanks to Mati on the entertainments team who got to know everyone and always smiling. However the loud pool music got too much and we finally ended up paying for sunbeds on the beach where it was quiet. Please think about this management as not everyone wants to listen to music all day.
Overall a very enjoyable stay and we would go back again.

Nice hotel, very close to lovely beaches.

Great holiday in a nice hotel in a good location. Enjoyed walking into town each evening along the paved and lit pathway, although it was perhaps a little further than I was expecting. Beaches and pool were lovely, crystal clear sea. Went on an amazing speed boat excursion to the Blue and Green Caves organised through the hotel - expensive but worth it.

Hotel was nice, although we did not get the partial sea view which we booked. Bathroom in need of refurbishment as shower temperature was temperamental as was the stability of the shower head. No bath plugs in the entire hotel so not possible to make use of the bath or to fill up the sink. All hotel staff were extremely friendly and efficient.

Bit of a trek to get there from Split airport if ferries not timed well - as ours weren't due to a flight delay - 4 1/4 hours from landing at Split to the hotel. Next time I would splash out on a speed boat transfer from Trogir or spend a night in Split either side of the holiday.

Underwhelming

Very touristy, busy and crowded area. Hotel room was small. Loud live music played outside our room every night until midnight. Room said seaview, but was nearly impossible to see sea beyond hotel pool and pine trees. Planned to spend time relaxing on the balcony, however did not use balcony due to noise and underwhelming view. Very disappointed with this hotel - would not recommend, and will not be returning.

Nice hotel in great location overlooking the beach, beach bar, and wind surfing schools. Pool is kept spotlessly clean, lovely fresh water. Breakfast very good and all cooked fresh right up to 10am. Reception very friendly and helpful. Not worth paying the extra for a sea view room unless you can guarantee it is at the front of the hotel before booking. I paid the extra and got a room at the side, which was on the top floor but still not a great view - could see the sea only by leaning over the balcony!

Very close to Zlatni Rat - the most famous beach

Fair enough, but due to some unexplained circumstances I was moved over to the hotel Bonaca in the same hotel family. So I got good value for money as this was all inclusive. Much and good food, but the dining room looked like a canteen in a military camp. Room was ok, internet working fine, but no fridge. Swimming pool area was nice, but drinks in the bar were pretty close to water. Style was absent in this hotel, but location was pretty fine, with just 5-10 minutes walking to Zlatni Rat. Unfortunately, there the wind during my stay was so strong it was fun only for the kite flyers.

Lovely area for relaxed holiday

The best things about this hotel are its proximity to the town, and the pool/beach. The pool is very nice, and the beach is just down a hill from the hotel. The walk to Zlatni Rat is about 10-15 mins, with lots of cafes and watersports opportunities along the beach. Our original room was ok - looked like the pictures and was rather dated, with a small bathroom, and not very nice beds but we had a problem with a noisy aiir conditioning unit. When we complained, the reception staff were aware of the problem and eventually gave us a lovely family room/suite which was spotless and recently renovated and was much better than our original room.Things to be aware of - Bluesun has 3 hotels on the same site, of varying standards, and guests can use the pool of all. The pool at hotel Tirena was very nice. They are a short walk down the promenade to the marina/small town. A few irritating things were that the room aircon temperature is controlled centrally by the hotel (something we found in a few places), and you must pay a deposit for the towels by the pool. Also, the breakfast wasn't great. and a bit manic - you aren't seated or checked in by anyone, and the food wasn't the freshest, but it was ok!

Location is good. Hotel is old. It was cleen, but the beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Did order a double bed, but got two singlebeds pushed together. The aircondition var very noisy and it was not possible to change the level or temperature.

Othervise the staff was friendly and the breakfast was good but it was very crowded.

Bluesun Hotel Elaphusa

I originally had booked to stay at the Hotel Borak, but upon arrival the entire building looked like a ghost town. All of the lights were shut off, pool was drained, and not a single soul was to be found. Later, we found a sign saying that Borak was closed and for us to go to Elaphusa. This was the only thing that bugged me, that they didn't tell me in advance when booking that that hotel is closed. After navigating my way to Hotel Elaphusa, everything was great. I'm guessing they moved everyone to Elaphusa because it's not their peak season just yet. Anywho, the Hotel Elaphusa was absolutely great!! The staff was very accommodating and helpful. We were actually wishing to have stayed there longer!

Vi havde fem skønne dage på dette flotte hotel med perfekt beliggenhed. Lige ved de smukke strande og i gåafstand til byen med masser af restauranter, bus og havn. Hotel og værelser ligner billederne meget nøjagtigt, og hele hotellet er virkelig elegant indrettet. Sengen var super komfortabel, udsigten til hav, pool og nåletræer meget smuk. Personalet var søde og venlige. Vi elskede vores ophold og kommer gerne igen.

Grundsätzlich gutes und sauberes Hotel. Die Lage war super, direkt am Strand. Pool war auch gut.

Das Essen war etwas eintönig. Hier hätte man auch mal Themenabende machen können. Das Essen ähnelte sich täglich sehr stark.

Nach dem Abendessen war im Hotel nichts los. Kein Sänger, keine Show, kein Entertainment. Von daher waren abends auch die Bar usw. leer, was etwas schade war.

Etwas was uns sehr gestört hat, waren die rauchenden Gäste. Beim Frühstück und Abendessen gilt ein Rauchverbot im Restaurant und auf der Terrasse. Dieses wird ignoriert und es werden sogar noch Aschenbecher verteilt. Wer sein Essen genießen wollte, musste drin sitzen oder schauen, dass er nicht neben Rauchern sitzt. Ähnliches war am Pool. Sobald man sich irgendwo schön entspannt wollte, kommen andere Gäste und fangen an zu rauchen. Unser Zimmer lag auch zwischen zwei Kettenrauchern sodass wir unseren extra gebuchten Balkon eigentlich nie nutzen konnten. Hier sollte man vielleicht schon ein besseres Konzept integrieren z.B. Raucherzonen. Mit Hinsicht auf die Schwangerschaft meiner Frau ist dies ein riesen Minuspunkt.

Das Hotel ist renoviert und liegt direkt an der Strandpromenade. Der dazugehörige Strand (klein) liegt direkt an einer verlassenen Restaurant Ruine und ist ziemlich hässlich.
das Hotel hat ein Ameisenproblem. Sie laufen überall rum, auch um Zimmer. An Wänden, Decken und Böden, auch übers Bett. Behoben wird das Problem immer nur lokal mit Ameisenspray, was nur kurz hält. (Rote Ameisen, eine Freude).
Essen war okay. Frühstück war immer das gleiche, nie Abwechslung. Abendessen war soweit okay, da findet jeder was.
Getränkepreise sind völlig irre….. 250ml Cola kosten 4,40€. Da trinkt kein Gast gerne beim Essen was….. ist aber allgemein in Kroatien aktuell so….

We had a OK stay. The food was OK. No drinks included, even if we had The half-board. Not even for dinner, only tap-water.

5 Euro for a 25 cl Coca-Cola is just crazy!

If you enjoy laying out your towel early in the morning on deckchairs like all the other tourists, this is the place for you!

Good location - disappointing food

I stayed at bluesun Borak for three nights including the breakfast and dinner. The hotel has a great location between the Bol town centre and Zlatni Rat beach. A fairly nice as well as modern interior design throughout, including lobby, room and pool area. If you wish to be close to the ocean as well as the little town of Bol, I would recommend it.
However, considering the price point of this hotel - the food was truly disappointing. Breakfast was mediocre but dinners were pure disappointment. Though there was some variety from day to day in selection of dishes served, essentially everything was dry, tasteless/bland and disappointing. Along with paying for dinner at the hotel, there is no possibility of pouring yourself a glass of water for dinner in the restaurant. It is expected to be purchased, despite the already overpriced dinner. The most tasty part of each dinner was the fruit being served along with ice cream.
We also had some minor inconveniences with a lack of towels after cleaning, though such a mistakes are merely human and was quickly resolved by the receptionists.
On the other hand, we noticed that our drinking glasses were not exchanged in the room after being used and merely turned upside down until our return to the room - clearly evident by one of the glasses already being chipped upon our arrival and never exchanged for a new one.

Overall the location is good, but do not expect the food and perhaps even the service to live up to the price being charged.

Mooi hotel op een prachtige ligging

Het hotel ligt op wandelafstand van het zéér mooie centrum van Bol via een mooie Boulevard. Als ik 1 opmerking zou hebben is het over het restaurant, als je na 20 u gaat eten zijn er veel gerechten al niet meer beschikbaar en ze werden ook niet meer aangevuld. Het was er ook niet echt gezellig en het geluid van roepende kinderen gaf mij eerder het gevoel in een refter van een school te zitten dan in een restaurant.

Underbart ställe men byt ut sängarna

Allt var jättebra förutom att sängarna var stenhårda. Har en halv vecka kvar på semestern och kan knappt gå av allt ryggont. Har aldrig haft sånna besvär tidigare och är väldigt säker på att det beror på sängarna.

Lækkert nyt hotel tæt på strand

Meget nyligt renoveret hotel. Virkelig lækkert. Skønt poolområde tæt på stranden og med et kvarters gang til den lille hyggelige havn. Super fitness rum med den det nyeste Technogym udstyr. Dejlig morgenmad med stort udvalg. Udlevering af håndklæder hver dag, som man også kan tage med til stranden. Meget anbefalelsesværdig og et sted vi godt ville komme igen.

int poolområde nära stranden

Vi var bokade på ett annat Blusun hotell men pga Covid-19 så vart vi ombokade till detta hotell. Blev informerad om att vi blivit uppgraderade med rum. Rummet var fint men saknade balkong, påpekade detta och vi fick då möjligheten att byta till rum med balkong. Detta rum var dock sämre i skick, ej renoverat. Sängen knakade, heltäckningsmatta mm. Valde då rummet utan balkong, detta rum var mycket fräscht, men dock verkar det skilja mycket mellan rummen på hotellet. Vi hade frukost och middagsbufféer. Frukost mycket bra, middag blev mycket samma efter några dagar. Fint poolområde. Nära strand. Fanns mycket aktiviteter men vi nyttjade ej dessa.

Helt ok. Ligger jättebra då det är nära till både stranden Zlatni Rat samt byn. Bad om en upgrade så vi kunde få havsutsikt men de sa att det var fullt. Mkt alternativ till frukost. Rummen känns som att de hade behövts en uppfräshning men det var rent.

Hotel si trova in mezzo una pineta, a metà strada da località di Bol è bellissima spiaggia di Zlatni Rat!.Ottima posizione!
10 minuti a piedi si possono raggiungere tutte è due!
La spiaggia e 100 metri,a pagamento 7 euro un lettino e 4 euro ombrelli.Puoi stare anche per conto tuo dove trovi spazio!
Noi in 4 avevamo 2 camere , formula mezza pensione. Cibo e ottimo sia per colazioni che cena.Le bevande a cena sono a pagamento !
C’è animazione si per bambini che per adulti!
Parcheggio gratuito enorme.
Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti .
Una vacanza molto bella !
Località di Bol è molto bella ,la spiaggia zlatni rat STUPENDA. Volendo si può andare in questa spiaggia tutti giorni , è 10 minuti a piedi percorsi in una visita stupenda!

Hotell med perfekt läge i Bol, Brac

Lägger mitt i mellan hamnen och den berömda stranden, Golden horn. Fint poolområde. Frukostbuffén mycket bra, det fanns det mesta. Vi hade även middagsbufféen men tyckte den var ok men inte mer. Vart mycket samma sak, det ör det väl iof på frukostbuffén också men middagen villa man gärna ha lite mer variation. Åkte med barn och de gillade middagsbufféen. Rum och inredning överlag av äldre modell, vilket drar ner lite på standarden. Skulle gärna bo här igen

Ett väldigt bra hotell, trevlig personal bra mat. Stenstrand rakt nedanför hotellet lätt att få solstolar, men dyrt. 15 min till Bol med härligt folkliv. 15 min till Zlatni rat med ännu dyrare solstolar. Lite bök att ta sig till Bol med bil, kaosartat färjeläge i Split. Men värt besvärat atmosfären är härlig.

För ett hotell i denna prisklassen bör det inte finnas myror i sängen, i badrummet, ja lite överallt. Både vi och våra vänner hade detta problem. Lösningen från receptionen var att vi fick något slags bekämpningsmedel som vi själv skulle spraya i rummet. Eftersom vi har barn kändes detta som en otrygg lösning för oss. Inget återbesök för vår del tyvärr.

The hotel is pretty worn out with 90’s furniture, super loud A/C from the 70’s and soundproofing from the 50’s. One of the reception staff let Croatians cut in line, but on the other hand the younger lady did an excellent job. If you’re a couple searching for a place for a romantic getaway, do not even concider this place. At times the music at the pool was extremely loud. The breakfast was very basic and the food at the pool bar barely eatable. The wifi was VERY poor.

Hotellet var et trist gufs fra 1970-tallets kroatiske kommunisttid. Frokostsalen minnet om en effektiv, men nitrist, feriekoloni-kantine. Datter på 11 ville ikke bade pga skittent og overfylt basseng. Det var svært lytt på hotellet og airconditionen laget mye støy og ødela nattesøvnen. Ikke spesielt god service.

Fin opplevelse på Bol

Godt fornøyd med servicen på hotellet. Veldig hjelpsomme og imøtekommende medarbeidere. Fikk låne et rom for å dusje før avreise, noe som var en stor pluss da vi måtte sjekke ut kl 1100 og transport videre ikke gikk før kl 1800 på kvelden. Rommene kunne trengt en skikkelig oppgradering. Området rundt hotellet var perfekt ift målet for oppholdet på Bol som var windsurfing😊
