I reserved a car..did not show up on time..had to take a Grab to.get to airport.. the clerk was sleeping on front bench had to ask if he was a employee..he was clueless...when I gave hime key card he broke in two..then accussed me of breaking it.. He is veey simple..

The room was lovely & located centrally to everything you need. Room was cleaned every day. The staff were friendly. The only very small issue I had was that there was no kettle in the room, but there was a thermos jug you could fill up down stairs. I would definitely recommend this hotel

The location was a 10/10, perfectly situated in the middle of everything. There’s a coffee shop directly across the street that makes great coffee with cute designs on top. Kata Walking Street with tons of food, bars, boutiques, and other options is literally right next to the property. Despite being so central, the property is surprisingly quiet for the most part.

The beach is about a 5-minute walk or less. The sidewalks leading to the beach are narrow, so be cautious. If you need assistance with hills, I wouldn’t recommend walking taking a car or taxi would be a better option.

If you step out of the property and turn left, there’s a 7-Eleven a short distance away, along with KFC and several other food options. Every street feels like a little adventure, so be sure to explore them all.

The only thing that stood out to me was the lack of Netflix or streaming options TV channels were limited to local programming.

There was no microwave in my room but it had had a refrigerator.

The beds were a bit stiff and firm for my preference, as were the pillows. If you have back issues, I wouldn’t recommend it for that reason alone unless the hotel is able to accommodate, which I didn’t ask about.

Overall, it’s a perfect hotel for anyone looking for a clean, spacious, friendly, and affordable option that’s conveniently located and easy to access.

Well, they say you get what you pay for. I guess that is true. The place was old, rundown, and the bathroom toilet leaked, the shower floor was filthy. Not really a resort i would stay again, but perhaps you're russian. They seemed to love it.

The staff is very nice and helpful! Located in a great area, super close to everything you need, Kata beach is a 15 min walk and the night market is right behind the hotel!:)

The only downside is the fact that the rooms are in need of a good refresh!! You can smell the dampness as soon as you walk in but the bedroom is pretty and clean.

The only downside is the bathroom. :( It is definitely in need of a good deep cleaning. The stained tiles around the shower wall & floor and not looked after sink tap and shower head give an unclean feel.

But overall, I recommend the hotel! Good for the price.

We had an enjoyable stay at Honey Resort.Very clean and spacious room.The hotel manager is Jade/Sopana who does a great job keeping the hotel running well,she has good english skills and always helpful.All the staff where great.A very good continental breakfast,we really enjoyed the pool to.Kata is a very clean place to visit with many wonderful restaurants.I recommend Honey Resort and we hope to go back one day.

Had only planned a couple nights stay but ended up doubling that. Staff were top class room cleaned each day. I had left my iPad behind and traveled close to 2hrs to my next hotel. The amazing jade at reception worked her day then traveled to my current location to return my iPad and now the poor girl has to travel all the way back. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and a big shout out to Jane and the cleaning staff.

IT COULD BE GREAT.

This is a lovely little resort, that is slowly getting run down. Maybe it was the low season, and the little details were being neglected. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was good and clean. The pool was not cleaned during our stay. The breakfast was ordinary at best. With some attention to detail, this resort could be great. It is a very quiet and safe area, and close to everything.

Honey Resort was an okay place to stay for a few nights, especially if you will be spending most of your time at the beach. The bed was decently comfortable and the staff was really helpful. I appreciated the provided beach towels, as most hotels will not provide those. The bathroom needed a good scrubbing (mostly soap scum) and the whole place could use a refresh. If you have mobility issues you may have trouble with their tub/shower combo - there is a big step up with a wide ledge to get in. WiFi barely worked, unless you stayed in the lobby area. Overall just okay.

Really good. Rooms are a great size and all have a balcony over the pool. The position is Central amongst heaps of restaurants and as close to kata beach as you get given the club med that (unf) dominates kata's beachfront. The pool is small but is good for swimming as it's quite long (50m?). The hotel is set back from the road so relatively quiet and pleasantly sheltered from any wind. We stayed in many hotels in kata and this is one of the few that had full sized bath which my wife loves. We stayed for 4 nights before going to Koh Tao and rebooked for 10 nights when we returned. 24 hour Desk staff were wonderful, cleaning staff were very friendly and efficient. Would definitely stay again.

No frills hotel close to beach

This low cost hotel was located close the the beach and the Main Street. Location and cost were great however it was not very clean. the cleanliness of the place is the only thing that might impact my decision to go back. It wasn't too bad but we were only there for 1 night. Otherwise the hotel was in a good location, room was spacious and staff was friendly. Wifi is awful and did not work in the room.

Great location, spacious room and comfy!

Great location only few minutes walk to Kata Beach and about 20minutes walk to Karon Beach, spacious and cozy room with a bathtub inside the bathroom. They also provide free to use towels to the beach. The room has balcony and you can dry your clothes there, the surrounding is also great, covered with restaurants, night market, food courts, fruit markets, shops and bars. I will definitely book again if i go back!

Nice updated hotel in okay location by Kata/Karon

Hotel is very nicely updated, good price and comfort for NYE Eve in Phuket. Lobby is outside hotel and had a very small pool. Definitely regretted upgrading to the pool access room since it faced the lobby and pool was tiny! Rooms are smaller than expected but the decor was nice. Overall a 3 star hotel, location could be better. Felt like they tired to nickel and dime every transaction at the hotel but it's expected from Thailand.

The location is a bit confusing. The hotel seems to be rather in Kata, but close to Karon as well. Kata beach is a short walk, and Karon beach a bit further. Both beaches are nice, but really crowded. The area is in general pretty touristy, whether that's good or bad depends on personal taste of course.

The room was very nice, clean, good bed and ac. Breakfast was simple (toast, eggs, fresh fruit), but we found out to be sufficient.

More than a great value

Clean, safe, close to everything and very reasonably priced. I will return again. The waters at Marion beach are clean. You'll find the odd discarded cup or coconut husk drink here and there. They're cleaned up by the next day. The beach is well populated with mostly Russian and the odd Italian. There must be close to a hundred restaurants to chose from within walking distance of Honey. The seafood is outstanding and so cheap. It will take you an hour to get there from the airport by mini bus or taxi. Most of the other beaches are even further. Find someone to share the cab ride on the plain if you can. Don't waist your time looking for a place in Patong, it's a gong show. Go for a single night visit. Don't expect the amenities of a $150 hotel in one that costs $45. The view from your front door isn't the greatest, a vacant field, but the view from your balcony overlooks the street. I was only there to sleep anyways. Slept well every night. No bugs. Everything worked in the room. The breakfast was modest. I didn't come to Thailand to have bacon and eggs. Have a coffee and a few things to get you going then hit the beach. \"Betty\" at the front desk was a joy. She was the best versed in English. Helpful. If you wish to get away for a day, they have an assortment of pamphlets at the front desk. Many made use of the pool area in the afternoon when the beach was an inferno. I stayed for six nights and will stay another six on my next visit.

Stayed here 9 nights mid july, the weather was the worst I have ever encountered in Asia. Rained almost every day and was cloudy for the rest. During our 10 days in Phuket, we had about 20 minutes of sun. Safe to say, I will never be returning to Phuket. Will gladly go back to Koh Samui instead which i reccomend.
Honey Resort - nice place to stay. Quiet location despite the renovation work being carried out that we were not warned about.
This hotel is between Kata and Karon and very central to shops/markets/nightlife/cafes. Plenty of places to eat!
The hotel has a pool but the pool is very small and we didn't use it more than once during our 9 night stay. We went to the beach or used other resort pools.
The free breakfast was great and we enjoyed it every day.
Overall, Honey offers a good rate per night and we found it to be comfortable for the long stay. being quiet and central, just added to the resorts appeal.

Friendly, clean budget hotel

The staff where all very friendly and the rooms, all with balcony, were generous, comfortable and very clean. Bathroom clean with bath and shower and I had no hot water problems. Drains sometimes smelly but that's peculiar to nearly all places in Phuket not specifically this hotel. The pool was certainly big enough to swim in although no so, if full of children of course. 10/12 poolside beds adequate in low season, probably not so in high season. Breakfast adequate albeit the same everyday and although there was no tea/coffee provided in the room, cups and flasks of hot water were available if you bought your own drinks. Strange having to pay for wifi when everywhere was free! 6-7 minutes to the lovely beach using a short cut. Overall a great budget hotel that I would choose again. Hopefully the building work going on next door will be finished soon.

Quiet but close to Kata center

It wasn't easy to find a decent hotel at peak season that suited my budget, but this one perfectly suited me and I am glad we stayed at this hotel. It is located in a quiet street, yet only a very easy walking distance to the beach and Kata center. The breakfast provided was more than I expected. Across the street is a row of shops - hairdresser, nail salon, massage - great service, and more importantly, they are owned by a lovely Thai lady.

Thou they speak minumum amount of English, they would still find resources to assist you on your query. Its a nice place to stay with your family. Small ants or something that crawlen around everywhere. Left unopened candy at the tvtable and the small ”ants” had somehow crawled inside the paper. Discusting. Otherwise it was a really good location, and okay to stay there for four nights. But they could really fresh the place up quite a bit.
The breakfast was really mid, not many options, But they had egg and watermelon wich is important to me. Only one person at the front desk could bother with a smile when you passed. He was brilliant.

Et lite stykke fra stranden som vi visste om, men tenkte det gikk fint for det skulle være et basseng på hotellet. Hotellets basseng var en liten tynn kanal langs hotellveggen. Godt å ta seg en dykkert der, men ikke egnet for bading. Ellers fikk vi et tilstøtende hotellrom hvor døren ikke var låst til naborommet, så vi hadde tilgang til våre naboers rom og de tilgang til vårt. Måtte vente en hel dag for å få den låst, så det trekker jo litt ned. Eller greit rom, av god størrelse med kjøleskap, balkong og godt trykk i dusjen.

Väldigt liten och smutsig pool, ligger d i en trafikerad och farlig gata, personal som inte ens hjälper till med väskor, slitet rum och otrevlig personal som inte ens erbjöd vatten. Vi skulle ha stannar här 3 nätter men vi avbokade och fick endast halva pengarna tillbaka.

Bör vara väldigt billigt för att boka

Chansade på att detta ställe skulle vara värt priset då vi kommer över en bra deal för ett rum med direkt tillgång till poolen. Enligt frugan var det sämsta hotellet vi någonsin har bott på men hon har kort minne, jag törs nog säga att vi lyckats checka in på ännu sämre vid något tillfälle ;) Kan dock konstatera att det var stenhårda sängar och kuddar och ganska daterat rum. Att ha direkt tillgång till poolen kändes lyxigt på förhand men den var ca 1,5 meter bred och låg mestadels i skugga. Kändes snarare olustigt att andra med sådan lätthet hade tillgång till vår uteplats. Slutade med att vi vaskade andra natten och drog vidare.

Har boet 20 dage på hotellet. Ligger yderst central til både stranden og til gode spisesteder. Ligger i forholdsvis roligt område - lidt tilbagetrukket fra vejen.
Værelserne er fine og bliver rengjort hver dag. Personalet er serviceminded og næsten familiære - da man føler de kender alle gæster. 55 værelser - vi havde direkte adgang til svimmingpoolen - der var rigtig fin - med solstole til rådighed. Gratis strand håndklæder. Fin morgenmads buffet.
