Great location! Right in the heart of night market that closes daily around 11pm so no street noise that disrupts sleep! Very clean, no bugs, very affordable. Close to shops, massage parlors, currency exchange and restaurants. I stayed there twice and would stay again! Thank you!

Хорошее расположение отеля, в центре, возле огромного рынка, где можно вкусно покушать месную кухню. Номера чистые и уютные, брали дважды, певрый раз с видом на дорогу, поэтому конечно было шумновато, второй раз с видом на рынок, делюкс, он был прям супер. Персонал приветливый, оставляли им вещи на сутки, так как были на экскурсии с ночевкой, помогли без проблем.

Great location. Staff were very chill. Only problem was my original room wasn’t available so got an apparent upgrade, which didn’t really feel any different lol. My door didn’t fully shut but has a lock so I felt safe enough. The pools more like a large hot tub, which I like cause it relaxes the mind. For the price I’d say it’s worth it, I’m not fussy so I didn’t really have any issues that I massively cared about. It’s also 500 baht deposit for the key

The front desk are very welcoming and friendly. As a party of 8 with 2 elderly people in our group, they made everything very easy for us. Pu and Aor took great care of us as soon as we walked through the door and through out our stay. I would love to come back again and stay here. It is a great location. Kata market is right in front of the hotel with lots of good choices. Great place to stay, very clean, spacious rooms and nice roof top pool.

Cute, comfortable and affordable hotel in a busy part of Kata/Karon beach moved here after the hostel we booked was filthy with a concrete slab for a bed. Close to shopping restraunts and bars short walk to the beach excellent staff and clean rooms!

OK property for the price we stayed. Our room faced the main road so the noise of music from tuk tuks at 3/4am we got used to.

Very friendly and helpful staff.

The only thing that let the our stay down was the rooftop swimming pool was out of order and still advertised as having a swimming pool which was open to use. We were offered use of the swimming pool of another hotel which was a 10 minute walk.

Upon arrival the price was not as stated on your site. A premium for Christmas had been factored into the total amount due. I refused to pay the premium. I agreed to stay at the stated rate for the first two weeks, then found other accommodations. They should not be billed commission for the last two weeks.

I’ve stayed with this hotel multiple times whenever I visit phuket. Convenient location as there is a food market just beside the hotel. At night, the back alley will have night market with more dining options. Short walk to kata beach.

Challenge your pre paid airport taxi fee

The stay was great the only thing I would say is that when booking an airport taxi the hotel took double the price of the taxi meter via a prepaid invoice. I would have happily paid a reasonable commission but I felt this was a little disrespectful of a paying guest. The only thing to sour a really nice hotel in a great location.

Stayed for six days whilst travelling in Thailand.

Great hotel. Friendly staff and easy check in.

Room was immaculate, extremely clean and bed comfortable. We were given water each day.

You can use beach towels daily, free of charge.

Great location with easy access to beaches and restaurants/bars.

The only negative side, it can be a bit noisy on the main road.

Great place to stay at, so many things to do in the area, the beaches were great and our favorite was this night market with great seafood right across the street. Laundry machines in the same building and also a restaurant if in the mood for food. Enjoyed our stay just found a slight smell of mold in the room but the lady that cleans the rooms was very helpful with spraying it for us. All in all a great stay with many places around the area to eat, have a drink, or just hit the beach.

An okay place to stay

The hotel is a makeshift combination of several buildings, so accessing my room involved both elevators and stairways. I had a \"no breakfast included\" plan, and the charge for breakfast was 250 baht, a bit steep I think, compared to other restaurants in the neighborhood.. One of our group had trouble getting his towels and water, which was never resolved. The beach is a 15 to 20 minute walk, not 10 minutes as the literature had claimed.

On the other hand, the room was very clean all ten days, and the staff was very friendly. Also the staff was quick to find taxis, and the taxis were honest and dependable.

Good, but no cigar.

The hotel seems fairly new and is clean and comfortable and has been tastefully decorated.

Location is good if you want to walk to local beaches, two about 10 mins away each.

If you want to experience Thai culture though this is probably not the place to stay. Surrounding restaurants consist of sub standard, overpriced food. The night market opposite is ok but quickly can be seen. (Head to Phuket old town to get good food.) If your on a budget and can’t afford to hire a car and or don’t have a lisence to drive a motorbike (me!), then this very touristy area of Phuket might prove a struggle. Local taxis have fixed (extortionate) rates and don’t shift on them, can be very frustrating when there are ten taxis sitting there doing nothing for hours on end! Metered taxis very scarce.

Staff: I found the staff generally friendly, welcoming and friendly, specific mention to the cleaner who always smiled and said hello.

However the manager on reception I found rude and unhelpful. A couple of tones I would go to reception to ask a basic question such as where is the local beach, he looked at me and didn’t reply. At that point a fellow guest gave me directions.

Little things like this put a dampener on your stay, none the less If I needed a room in the area again I would consider staying here.

Decent but there are better places to stay.

We stayed at Kata Blue Pearl for 6 nights. Pros is that the hotel is close to shops and restaurants. Kata Beach isn't great, no good beaches on main Phuket Island, Patong, Karon, all are polluted. Recommend staying in Phuket Town where locals eat and shop and its close to the piers that take you to better beaches on other Islands. Hotel has views of the back buildings. No view. What I hated most was how we needed to climb up and down stairs with our luggage because its not a properly built hotel but 2 shops converted to become a hotel. Very few staff that can't understand English and no room service after a certain time because its boutique hotel, no extra towels can be delivered after a certain time. Can't really recommend this hotel apart from the fact its close to restaurants, shops, and market. Its also close to a sewage so the smell is pretty bad around the area. Stay in Phuket Town and go to Racha Island for a good beach with clean water. For authentic Thai food go to One Chun Restaurant. Hope this honest review helps you guys.

Kata Beach hotel

The hotel itself looks really modern and cozy at the same time, its like being in a beach house. It-s a good hotel if you want to be on a budget, but still with a convenient location and a nice room. I stayed the first few nights with breakfast included, but the breakfast itself is definitely not worth to pay extra for it has very limited options and for what you get, you will find places outside that offer you better options. Therefore, when I ended up extending my stay for 2 nights more, I didn't include the breakfast. There was a construction just infront, so having naps in the afternoon or if you want to sleep until a bit later, that won-t be possible while the works are going on. I understand this is not the hotels fault. I do think I would go back, mainly because of the location and the price, but there is still a lot of room to improve, especially the friendliness of the staff. Most of the times we would pass the front desk and they would not say anything to you and saw it happening also with many other guests, so that's not really nice if they cannot be bothered by even saying goodmorning or anything and just speaking between them.

Great location!

The location was perfect for being picked up for day trips or just walking around town and to the beach. Our room was in the older portion of the building (it's a two part hotel). The older part has certainly been used and does not have great security (the only locked door is the one to your room and there were not any visible security cameras). Air conditioning turns on when your room key is inserted so the room goes from hot to cold frequently and mildew was noted on the fabric headboard/the room was not in great condition. Showers were scalding hot or cold. A lot of this sounds negative and we were certainly let down based on the photos we had seen. However, the location is great and the main building looked nice so I bet it would be better if you were in that section! We didn't visit the pool, breakfast was good, & there are lots of great places to eat nearby.

Some staff where helpfull most of them weren't. No one would help us with our safe in our room, we got stained and ripped bedding. Our toiletries wernt topped up i had to constantly ask the front desk for things. Buffaybreakfast was horrible and wouldn't reckoned

close to Kata beach

We ordered a taxi from the hotel to the airport (the taxi company is a partner with the hotel because we pre-pay the hotel for a voucher) and it was the worse experience ever. The taxi driver was going almost 140km/hr in a 60km/hr zone, and was passing cars in the opposite lane against traffic. He was a reckless driver and was also falling asleep at red lights. A hotel should not associate itself with such a taxi company.

I LOVE THE BLUE PEARL!! This place is so nice, the location is super close to the beach and all the cute tuktuks (taxis), and lots of food and a night market. The staff were seriously so awesome, their English was really good and it was all so clean and there was a safe in the room to use and it was all so nice and welcoming. Seriously such a good deal, also the wifi was really good compared to all the other hotels we stayed at on our trip in Asia.

Clean & comfortable boutique hotel.

This hotel is located just off the main beach road, with shopping and eating establishments in close proximity. Also close is the access foot path to the beach, which is necessary to use as Club Med's enormous campus occupies almost the entire coastline property of Kata Beach. The hotel is clean and comfortable. My room was quite spacious, with a small fridge, safe box, and the shower had hot water; bed was comfortable; air-conditioning worked well. I didn't use the roof-top pool but it looked clean and well maintained. I did see some guest using it. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Disappointing and too noisy

Unfortunately the hotel was extremely noisy every night of our stay, this was mostly due to noisy Russian guests shouting and slamming doors at 2 and 3 am. There is no security at the hotel and the night receptionist don't do anything about it. The area is ok, about 7 mins walk to beach, however you have to walk by a disgusting, smelly drainage to get to it. We wouldn't go back and I'm sure you can find much better around the area.

Lovely little hotel, staff friendly and helpful. Instead of taking the 'shortcut' to the beach, we would recommend walking to the north end of the street to access it as the shortcut is about 500 meters along a stinking cesspool of a waterway, more of a cessway than waterway.

Lovely fresh Hotel

After a nightmare journey from Ao nang to Phuket it was a lovely entrance to walk into, the whole hotel is sea-side based and was very pleasing throughout. Room was nice, lovely bed, TV, air con etc. had a small balcony overlooking the road, this made it a bit noisy at night but wasnt too bad. There wasn't any soap or anything with the sink but only in the shower which is contained which meant going into the shower and coming back out (the sink isn't in the bathroom) to wash hands at any point. A small bar of soap is quite basic in a hotel isnt it?? There also isn't much space to put bags, clothes etc. The restaurant below was great and had a live acousic player every night who was very good. draught beer was 50bht in frozen glasses.
5min walk to Kata beach, 10 to Karon (No shuttle)
Would definitely return.

Convenient and affordable hotel

Cute hotel, nice roof top pool. Room was a nice size, and a comfortable bed. They utilize the card-slot for the power in the room, which I don't like as room gets hot and humid while I'm gone; the refrigerator becomes useless! They also only give you two towels, no more! I asked for more, they stated 'two guests, two towels'. The cleanliness was decent, very dusty though! Otherwise convenient and affordable hotel.

The best thing about the Blue Pearl was their rooms , comfortable bed , good air con , hot shower , dark curtains and the TV ! Good choice of English films.
Sadly, the place as a whole is in need of some TLC, leaking roof in hallway , holes in the flooring and tired pool .
Also, please don't opt for breakfast ! it's soo not worth it. There are plenty of cheap eats around the hotel that will provide you with a far better choice and selection.

I checked in on the 27 August 2016 and was told that their pool is under renovation and we can use their sister hotel which is located 300m away. I am disappointed that I wasn't inform beforehand about the renovation otherwise I would have book another hotel.

The room was smaller than expected and the water pressure for the bathroom basin and showerhead was slow. However, the staff was all helpful and friendly.

Great Hotel!

Located on the main street in Kata, less than a 10 minutes walk away from the beach. The hotel has a simple yet beautiful design. Mostly marine blue style, with touch elevator buttons:)
The room was pretty spacious, clean, with cupboards, safe and plenty of space for your bags and other stuff. Bed was really comfortable, had a good sleep.
Bathroom was cool too.
2 complementary bottles of water are provided.
Staff was very friendly and welcoming too.

Will definitely stay here if I visit Kata again.

Beautiful nice hidden hotel, close with lots of shops that you might need to, close with the beach too and easy to grab a public transport too.
The receptionist was very helpful.
Only the restaurant a bit out from what we expect, but it's acceptable.

Really not like the pictures!

This hotel was totally disappointing. It looks nothing like the pictures. First of all, it was so difficult to find. It's a small dingy entrance with rooms at the second floor of a restaurant. The pictures make it seem like a beautiful hotel with a grand entrance.

Second, our room wasn't even ready when we arrived at 2:15PM (when check-in is at 2PM). We had to wait an extra hour for them to clean it.

The rooms are nice and comfortable. They look like the pictures. However, we took a sea view room but there was no sea view! All the rooms face the busy street.

There is a beach within 10 minutes walking distance, but it's the most disgusting part of Kata Beach, totally dirty. Worse beach I've ever been to!

Oh ya, and the hotel facilities are disgusting. The pool looked like a kid's pool and it was dirty and disgusting. Nobody was swimming there because it was so gross. Too bad they don't maintain it because the view is actually nice!

I would never stay here again, 100$ CAD a night is way overpriced since this looked like a hostel.

Get the room you booked

It didn't start well, the 'superior room with mountain view' that I had paid for wasn't what I got. Instead I was given a room overlooking the busy main road. Back to reception \"sorry but all full,very busy now\". I insisted I get what I had paid for. Persistence finally paid off.
The room was fine,clean and with modern fixtures. Good air-conditioning and modern TV though limited channels. One criticism is lack of storage space so you are living out of your suitcase.
Breakfast was OK though the cooked part was limited to one egg and two skinny rashers of bacon. We passed on the chicken sausage.

This hotel was our first the stop on our tour through thailand. We had deciced to spend a bit more on our first week while we got settled. We were delighted that room was impeccably clean as was the hotel lobby. Always a good start when the room is clean. Housekeeping did a great job too!

There is 2 lovely pools on the roof (they do need a bit of tlc but still nice for a swim).

The hotel staff were very friendly and extremely helpful (arranging taxis and our boat to Koh Lanta).

The hotel is located about a 5-10 minute walk to Kata beach and there are some lovely restaurants in the area. We ate a few times in the hotels restaurant and had really yummy food.

This was my 3rd visit to this hotel. Again, I cannot praise the Hotel for everything. Fantastic rates, staff, ammenities and position. Will certainly return to hotel for my next visit to Kata/Karon Beach ..... 7 time return visitor to Phuket and Kata and rate this as highly as some 5 star resorts when compared to value.

The Blue Pearl Kata Hotel

New hotel, great design and interior, great pool on the roof, always room and place by the pool available in low season. Relatively inexpensive. On the second floor there are balconies too small for chairs and table. Second and third floor at the rearside with no view. The water pressure was poor on the second floor, at fourth it was better, although it came intermittently and there was only lukewarm water. Wifi: sometimes a kind of virus attacks that blocked access to search pages and tried to get us to download a fake flash player, so watch what your click on and do not use it for online payment, online banking etc. About 100 ants in the sink one morning.

The Blue Pearl Hotel is only about a 7 min walk away from Kata beach, though like many other people have said, you have to walk along the stinky creek. The staff was very nice, room was extremely clean, location was good. Only complaint was they did not have extra pillows on hand when we requested them (we're use to 2 pillows/pp in the States).
We were only a few feet from their local market (open Monday and Thursday). Lots of eateries nearby and 7-eleven was only one street down!

Amazing, worth it!

Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, a bit hard to find as its right off the main road, it's behind the pizza joint. 5-10 min walk to Kata beach down the stinky River.... Plenty of food around to choose from, have lunch on the beach at their little market of food carts then have dinner along the main drag in one of the restaurants or another food Cart... Really enjoyed out stay, extended a few nights too hassle free!!! Would recommend and would return no problem!!!!
